Homeowner had high water pressure due to a failed PRV. Checked the expansion tank on the water heater and it’s working properly. Shut the water off at the street and removed the failed PRV. Cleaned copper piping and installed a new PRV. Turned water on and purged air from the lines. Set pressure to 65 psi. Left a quote for a tankless install.

We did a retrofit LED bypass for 6 flourescent light fixtures in the basement. We did a troubleshoot for a receptacle in the garage. Hot and neutral were reversed. It has been corrected and the receptacle is now working properly.

On today’s visit, I separated doubled up grounds and neutrals in the main panel, I replaced an incorrectly installed outlet in the crawlspace with a new box and GFCI, and I replaced 6 lights with customer supplied fixtures. One of the fixtures is too large and obscures the front door so we will return on a later date and swap fixtures with another supplied by the customer. At that time we will collect the remaining balance.

For this job the customer stated they had a toilet that was constantly running and would not shut off. Further inspection showed an aged toilet with multiple issues. I informed the customer that the best option would be to replace the toilet which they agreed. A new kohler high line arc was put in place of the old one. Toilet was tested extensively to ensure there were no leaks and it was functioning properly.

Arrived on site to perform trim out work for remodel. While on site the homeowner had some additional items she wanted completed. We Installed new wiring for a light in the middle of the room in the upstairs bedroom. We installed a new wire, box, and switch. We installed a new customer supplied ceiling light. We will also install a new 4” recessed light in the hallway upstairs. We came off an existing 4” wafer light and added a new one. We removed a ceiling box and install a new 4” wafer in the upstairs laundry. We moved the outlets down as low as we can for the display area in the main floor dining room. We will be returning on 9/4 to continue the trim out process.

Repair damaged section of interior drain line 3” over garage serving kitchen sink, replace section of abs pipe 20'-25' with PVC, install long sweep bends, install structural supports, level and ensure proper fall for adequate drainage, test to ensure repair is free of leaks and functions properly. LOCATION:basement Will also include new trap assembly under kitchen sink. Arrived and began installation of new kitchen line. Cut out and removed existing ABS piping which was heavily clogged with grease. Connected to 2” ABS dropping down from garage ceiling with a 45. Ran 3” schedule 40 PVC down to other end of garage and connected to 3” ABS vertical stack. Replaced short 90 turns with two 45 turns to make them a long sweep. Adjusted for better pitch and strapped pipe properly. Installed two in-line cleanouts to allow for drain cleaning in the future. Replaced all tubular waste underneath kitchen sink. Upon completion of the install we ran the kitchen sink for approximately fifteen minute

Battery replacement on Generac 48kw standby generator

Replace thermostat. Customer supplied the thermostat. Replaced digital thermostat for ecobee thermostat. Set WiFi, app and tested multiple times. Inspected system. Checked pressures , amperage on motor and compressor, dual capacitor, drain line, filter , heat exchanger and visual inspection. System has no drain pan under, no flood protection device installed, and heat exchanger with hot spots and compromised. Outside condenser very dirty and impacted, dual capacitor weak (reading 9 on a 45 microfarad) and contactor pitted. Also, compressor has little high amperage of 12.4 amps (shouldn’t be higher than 19 amps, by the label). Also, return in the living room is completely blocked by a big furniture and it should be exposed, to give better airflow to the living area. System is 16 years old and not efficient and it can increase the humidity level in the house, specially on hotter days. New mini split installed

For this job I arrived to install 3 wet switches as well as 3 in line switches. Installed all 6 flood safety devices upstairs. Noticed the Trane unit upstairs was producing an abnormal amount of water outside the unit. Informed homeowner about my findings. Homeowner also signed off the option for me to install 8 flood safety devices for all the systems downstairs. Informed homeowner this would either be rescheduled for later this afternoon or morning time the next day. Troubleshoot outlets not working

Customer called us out for a clogged sink in the kitchen. On arrival customer told me about the issue and showed me the piping below. I also checked out the water heater and house pressure. Water heater was 10 years old, no pan and expansion tank was not secured. Water pressure was 110. I told the customer this was extremely high and could damage other fixtures in the house. They did not want a service tech out at this time. I gave the customer multiple options and they chose to have the line jetted. I ran the jetter 3 time successfully clearing the blockage with only 1 bucket of water being filled. I then put the sink back together and tested it for 15 minutes while I cleaned up.

Today we came out to complete the EV charger installation

Replace pantry light, and kitchen island light.

We replaced the customers standard rheem 50 gallon water heater that we installed with a navien 240A2 tankless water heater. We installed a condensate pump underneath the unit and stubbed out of the house in 1” cpvc to prevent freezing. We added a new ball valve on both the hot and cold side and on the cold side added a check valve with an expansion tank. We ran both the exhaust and intake outside with a 45 degree bend on the end of both with a screen. We insulated the water lines with split foam insulation and added valve tags to the ball valves. We also added a new hosebib as a courtesy to the customer.

On today’s visit I replaced installed a new dryer outlet and box on an existing dryer circuit that had an incorrect receptacle.

Upon arrival, we met with the owner. For about 3 months, they’ve had intermittent sewer issues causing the basement toilet and tub to fill up with sewage. There is also a possible leak from the bathroom that was going onto the slab in the neighboring bedroom. They had the carpet pulled up. There is a foundation cleanout at the front left side of the home. We ran water from all three bathrooms, could see water exiting past the cleanout and no indication of a clog or leak at this time. I did advise having a supervisor camera inspection done but they declined for the time being.

Customer says outdoor system is short cycling. Inspected pressures. Found pressures low on r410. Inspected coil for leaks. Found large leak at evap coil. Recommended upgrading equipment due to age and repair cost. Customer moved forward with speaking with comfort advisor. System is not cooling at this time.

Came to check the GFCI outlet in the kitchen and found that the GFCI was defective. Replaced the GFCI and tested everything; it is working properly.   The customer also asked about installing a crawl space fan. Provided a quote, and the customer approved the work. We need to order the fan and schedule a return visit to complete the installation.   We also discussed the double-tapped neutral and upgrading to safety breakers. Provided an estimate for those items, and the customer will contact us to schedule the work.

For this job I arrived to a noise complaint. Homeowner stated the other day she heard a loud noise coming from the AC unit. I ran the system multiple times and found no irregularities. Signed the homeowner up for our homecare membership program and went ahead and flushed the drain line and replaced the air filter. At this time the system is cooling with no issues.
