HVAC, Plumber & Electrical FAQs

How much does it cost to replace an electrical panel near Marietta?

The average cost to replace an electrical panel ranges from $1,595 - $3,000 depending on the amperage. The higher the amperage needed the more expensive the new electrical panel would be. Amp replacement is necessary when the existing system cannot be upgraded to meet new standard needs or when there is a safety risk to the existing system.

How much should it cost to install a tankless hot water heater near Marietta?

Tankless water heater cost in Marietta ranges from $1,500 to $5,000 depending on the size and type of the water heater being installed. Tankless water heaters have a higher initial price compared to tank heaters because of a more labor-intensive set-up if new gas and water lines are required for installation. For electrical tankless heaters, new electric wiring will probably not be needed for installation in most cases.

Why is my air conditioner running but not cooling my Marietta area home?

If you're experiencing AC not cooling your Marietta area home while the system is powered on, you could have a clogged or blocked coil. Unfortunately, a wide variety of debris can find its way into this equipment, including grass, dirt, and other contaminants. This can result in a serious clog, which can lead to a system malfunction. The best way to prevent this is with regular AC cleaning and maintenance visits.

Arrived on site for a 2 system Homecare. Both units are 2021 Rheem 2.5ton ACs with 75%k btu furnaces. Client expressed no comfort concerns today. We tested each unit in heating and cooling and found no faults or failures. Each unit had heavily impacted condenser coils and blower wheels accumulating dirt. 1” filters were replaced but there are opportunities to improve overall air quality inside. We also discussed the upstairs drain line without proper slope. After our inspection we went over some photos and notes and decided to clean both outdoor units to ensure they run without unnecessary stress through the summer. After completion of the condenser coil cleanings, we collected payment and tested the units to ensure functionality. Everything is fully operational upon departure. Call complete.

Install endless hot water tankless outdoor water heater with built-in recirculating hot water for quicker hot water response. Mounted and secured to the exterior of the home Install ion 6 descaling filter for protection of the tankless heater. Brand new gas and waterlines to the water heater and tide back into the plumbing system. Temperature is set to 120° but Daniel would like to adjust it to be a little higher which I recommend no higher than 125°. Insulate piping inside of the tankless water heater skirt to prevent pipes from freezing over. Plumbing inspection will take 5 to 7 business days for the inspector to come out and will notify the homeowner when the inspector is going to be coming out to look at the water heater to make sure that is up to code and safe for the house. Will need to come back to replace the pressure regulating valve that is too much pressure inside of the home

The customer had experienced two breakers trip for circuit numbers 20&30. Circuit 20 is the garbage disposal and the breaker had flashed twice signifying that a ground fault had occurred. After turning the water on and running the disposal I noticed water was leaking from the unit which would cause the GFCI to trip. I informed the homeowner that it would need to be replaced and after it has been replaced that we can come back out and install a protective whip around the wire. Circuit 30 controls the living room lights, hallway for the basement stairs and 1/2 the outdoor outlets. I found a power strip that had an extension cord leaving it and going to the pool where a power washer was. The homeowner informed me that his son was using the pressure washer around the time it tripped. I left an estimate to have a new location GFCI outlet installed outside so any tools used for the pool won’t affect the living room. After going through the circuit I noticed that devices are aged and shoul

Home care inspection on one system. Replaced filter (16/25/4), cleared drain lines. System is well maintained and working properly in heating and cooling mode. Both zones and thermostats are working accordingly. Recommend to install a blue tube uv light, to give better air quality to the house, and to prevent system to build up biological growth inside of the evaporator coil.

1 System HomeCare- Checked Heating and Cooling Flushed drain and changed filter. Adjust gas pressure and added enzymes. Checked water safety devices and cycled thermostat from heat to cool. Checked refrigerant levels and outdoor electrical. Checked air temperatures and noticed system not producing like it should. Found system to be low on refrigerant, outdoor capacitor failing and low voltage wiring damaged. Refrigerant leak was from the schrader valve on suction line. Gave customer options and it was agreed to make all quoted repairs. After repairs were made, system was then tested to make sure all repairs were solid.

Homeowner has a hose spigot that is constantly leaking through the packing nut whenever water is ran through it. There is also a drain with an odd tie in point that needs to be cut off, as it runs to nothing. While inspecting the plumbing system, I also found that the thermal expansion tank has failed. Cut out and removed old hose spigot and shutoff valve. Installed a PEXxPRESS adapter. Installed a new quarter turn PEX ball valve. Installed a new hose spigot and mounted the spigot to the wall. Installed a vacuum breaker on the hose spigot. Sealed and caulked around hose spigot. Cut out and removed improper section of 3” drain line. Installed new section of 3” drain line via 2 mechanical couplings. Ran water to test for leaks on drain line. Removed failed thermal expansion tank. Cut existing copper and tied onto copper via a coupling. Installed a thermal expansion tank mounting bracket to foundation wall. Mounted thermal expansion tank. Installed approximately 8” of new 3/4” type L c

For this job the customer had a generator installed by an electrician and needed gas ran to it. The generator was located in the backyard with the meter on the other side of the house. A trench approximately 120 feet long was dug from the gas meter to the generator. From the meter to the generator 1.5 inch yellow poly was placed in the ground along with tracer wire. X risers were used to connect to the meter as well as the generator. Trench was filled with 3 site tubes in place for inspection. Part of the trench was also left open at the meter and at the generator. Line was pressurized to 15 psi for approximately 2 hours and showed no signs of leaking. All black iron was painted to prevent rust and strapped to the frame at the generator. Thank you for choosing TE Certified.

I came out today to complete an electrical homecare inspection and this is what was found: -Low Voltage Bonding- The cable lines coming in to the home are lacking some proper bonding. A new bonding bridge should be installed along with cleaning the paint off the connection points and securing the wiring. Recommended to have a cable surge installed. -Pool Pump Panel- The 2p20 GFCI breaker should be replaced due to it missing the common trip allowing one of the wires to be shut off and they both should be turn off at the same time. -Equipotential Bonding- Found lugs to be rusted along with loose wiring on the lugs -Exterior of Home- Outlet located on lower back porch is not an outdoor rated part (is GFCI protected) Outlet located on upper back porch is not an outdoor rated part (is GFCi protected) Outlet located in front of the home is not an outdoor rated part(is GFCI protected) -Panels- (2) 150 amp main lug Siemens Panels, found some corrosion on some of the branch circuits

Arrived to install new overflow to replace the one currently leaking in upstairs hall bathroom. After getting signature approval we began work. Removed drywall from closet behind bathtub to give us access to the piping. Once we had access we found that the previous overflow stand pipe was not even glued properly into the tee fitting for the drain. We removed the pipe from the top of the tee and installed a new pipe and overflow assembly. Glued everything together properly and then screwed the overflow in place from the front of the tub. Once the installation was completed we checked thoroughly for leaks. No leaks found. Installed access panel in closet to give access to bathtub piping in the future. Screwed a small piece of drywall that was removed back in place into the wall using wood blocking and drywall screws. Cleaned work area and caulked around cover plate for overflow. Customer is satisfied.

System #1 During today’s visit, we found the supply plenum is undersized, which is creating elevated static pressure in the duct system. The system also does not have ionization installed in the return plenum, and the filter is expired. Recommended work: • Replace the existing undersized supply plenum with a larger properly sized plenum and add ductwork as needed to improve airflow • Replaced the filter • Install an ionization system Improving the plenum size and airflow setup can help the system breathe better and reduce strain on the equipment. Replacing the filter helps restore proper airflow and filtration. Adding ionization can help improve indoor air quality. System #2 I found elevated static pressure in the duct system. The existing supply plenum is too small, and additional duct modifications are needed to help bring the airflow numbers down. The system also does not have ionization in the return. Recommended work: • Replace the supply plenum and add ductwork as needed •

Bad smell coming from basement system when ac is turned on. Inspected evaporator coil and it’s clean. Dirty socks smell. Best option would be to install an APCO-x uv light, to get rid of this smell. We cleaned a little bit the coil but the smell can come back. It should go away with the usage of the ac for the basement. No issue with the system. Sent estimate to install APCO-x uv light.

My wife and I live in a 1924 home that, due to years of poor work by previous owners, was left unsafe and far from code. Trevor and Chris were outstanding. They quickly identified issues that multiple other companies had missed and diagnosed everything on the spot with confidence and expertise. Just as important, they were incredibly kind, professional, and thorough. They took the time to explain every step, making sure we understood the process and felt comfortable along the way. We never felt pressured—only given honest, thoughtful recommendations. Their work ethic was remarkable. They stayed focused, worked tirelessly, and kept a positive attitude the entire time—even going so far as to eat lunch in their truck quickly so they could hop right back to work to keep the job moving. After dealing with other companies that either overwhelmed us or didn’t follow through, working with Trevor and Chris was a completely different experience. They truly transformed our home. If you need electrical work, skip the rest and go with TE Certified Electrical— and make sure you ask for Trevor or Chris.
