Arrived on site and customer said they had a leak coming from behind the wall in the master shower. They explained that every time the sprayer handle was turned on the leak would occur. They also stated that the ice maker box had no running water. I began troubleshooting both issues starting with the leak behind the wall. I found the leak was coming from the brass nipple in the wall. The brass nipple was not long enough therefore was not threaded I properly , which was causing the leak. I then found the issue for the icemaker box , which was due to no water supplying the fridge. I then went ahead and offered to run a new waterline for the fridge along with a new icemaker box which the customer agreed. I also picked up a longer brass nipple, which properly threaded behind the wall. Once both issues were addressed I turned the water on to the shower and ran the shower handle for 10 minutes to ensure no leaking would occur. Client had a plastic toilet handle for the main level toilet that failed. Client has two other toilets with the same handles and fill valves. I will prepare an email estimate for upgrading those. I also found corrosion on the hot water supply side of the water heater. I will also prepare an estimate to replace both the hot and cold connections to prevent the corrosion.

I inspected the water heater breaker and it is functioning and giving proper voltage. The disconnect by the unit is installed properly, the connections are good,and it is reading proper voltage. The connections in the top of the water heater are good. The piece that failed and caused the burning is an interior component to the water heater. The surge protector is still functioning properly. It was installed inside the panel, so I installed a flush mount kit so the unit can be seen without opening the panel. I also relocated where the surge was tied in. It is now combined with the dryer circuit.

Diagnostic Performed inspection on two systems. Both systems are 2018 Rheem furnace and air conditioner systems. Customers concern is the bonus room over the garage is not getting airflow. Upon inspection of the system several ducks have been disconnected. There’s only one supply going to this area and a couple of returns. Bonus rooms over the garage are always hard to heat and cool. I recommend meeting with an install supervisor about possibly upsizing the system for this side of the house and getting ductwork ran back to this area or simply adding a mini split over this area. Inspection of the ductwork in the attic found a lot of boots uninsulated. These will sweat in the summertime and causes moisture and biological issues. Well, quite a price to correct this. The overall ductwork condition and Plenum condition is pretty poor. When it is time to replace this equipment in a few years, I recommend replacing all the ductwork as well. Completed HC Inspection Gas shut off was leaking, blower wheel dirty, system could benefit from IAQ and superboost. Flue pipe is in poor condition and should be replaced as it is no safe to vent the water heater nor furnace.

Installed new 50 gal gas water heater with a 10 yr warranty. Installed gas line to supply future back deck fire place. Once work was complete we were inspecting our work and noticed the T&P does not exit the house. We will need to return Monday to drill a new hole and run T&P out correctly.

The customer is selling the home and had an issue with the lights flickering in the home when appliances would turn on. I removed the cover to the panel and found that the neutral conductor from the SEU was not fully under the neutral lug. After shutting off the power I removed the wiring and breakers from the left side of the panel to get better access to the wire and lug to make the correction. I cut back the burnt portions of the wire, applied more anti seizing compound and tightened the lug down and went attached all the wiring back to the neutral bar and set the breakers back in place. As a courtesy I made sure all the connections were tight in the on the neutral bar along with all the wiring to the breakers. I restored power and tested the repair to ensure no flickering was occurring. Arrived on site and customer wanted to install a supplied smart shut off device for the whole home. Provided customer the option to have it installed behind in the basement ceiling tile , and would also need an outlet to plug in the device , which electrician was assigned to come out and install an outlet for the device.

Replaced main water service for the home. Reconnected the irrigation with its own shutoff. Tested for leaks and function. No issues. Ran sprinkler system to ensure it was working. No issues observed by customer.

Installed new Rheem 50 gallon natural gas water heater. Installed new bal valve, expansion tank, gas connector, sediment trap, drip pan, and leak alarm. Installed new Halo H2Zero Ultimate water filtration system. The tank is buried 32” deep to be able to fit in the space where it is installed. We installed a bypass for the halo and a second bypass for just the post/sediment filter. We installed a new main shutoff and pressure regulator at the water service entrance. The front hose spigot on the home was replaced as a courtesy as changes were made to the piping and the existing spigot had to be cut out. We thoroughly flushed the unit before turning the water on in the house. Installed a new Halo RO Plus reverse osmosis system under the kitchen sink. We were able to remove the existing soap dispenser and install the new faucet in its place. We allowed the system to pressurize before flushing the system and testing. Wire and install new led can lights

We arrived on site to perform various electrical tasks. We installed a new 42 space electrical panel. This panel has all new breakers. We installed new dual function breakers for all of the required circuits. We also installed a new whole home surge protection at the main electrical panel and the garage sub panel. We installed a grounding system. We used existing ground rods at the meter/main disconnect. We installed a a new wire to where the main water comes into the home. We also ensured that the hot/ cold water lines are bonded properly. We installed a new bonding bridge for the low voltage wiring. This is a major safety aspect of the electrical system. We installed new hardwired smoke detectors in all of the bedrooms and outside the bedrooms. These smoke detectors will need to be replaced after 10 years. For this job I worked on installing outlets in the master closet above the cabinets for future strip lights, also installed a new customer provided Tesla charger and provide a standard 2 pole breaker for charger.

Troubleshot kitchen and bathroom outlets not working. Replaced one of the kitchen GFCI outlets, replaced the primary suite GFCI outlet and reset the other GFCI in the kitchen.

Troubleshoot wiring/breaker to forklift charger to see if there is an issue.

Upon arrival, noticed water heater constantly dripping water from the back. Water heater is approximately six years old. It is not in a drain pan and does not have an expansion tank. Upon further discussion, noticed a few potential issues with the furnace that is 15 years old. Discussed having someone come out to give options on replacing the water heater, the furnace, adding a drain pan and water safety in each, and also rerouting the upstairs drain line that drains into the main floor pump. That visit is scheduled for today. A plumbing visit has also been scheduled for tomorrow to turn the water off if need be. An aluminum pan with large sponges was temporarily placed under the water heater to help soak up and absorb some water. Advised homeowners that they would have to use their current shop vac to remove water from that pan. Thank you for choosing TE certified!

Completed Inspection -No bypass damper, insufficient flood protection, and biological growth present within the air handler.

Replaced filters. Cleaned all drains. Checked all operations in heat and cool. Noticed office is slightly low on 410a again. Very small leak in evaporator coil. Coil is starting to rust out. Weak capacitor. No good flood protection. No Indoor Air Quality.

Arrived at the customer’s home to perform inspections on both HVAC systems (upstairs and main floor) as part of the $59 tune-up special. Tested heating, auxillary heating, cooling and zoning from the thermostats. Measured the refrigerant pressures and electrical component readings. Inspected the safety and cleanliness of the systems. Checked the 1” washable filters. Discovered that the door was completely sealed with mastic due to the plenum not being sealed. Re-sealed it with mastic tape the way it was before, but allowing door access. Still recommend re-installing the plenum to ensure proper airflow. Reported findings to the customer.

Arrived on site and customer wanted his 1 yr old tankless water flushed . Home was just build late 2025 , and had not done any maintenance to the heater yet . Customer is a monthly member so I was able to perform a flush on the unit . Once heater was flushed , I went ahead and tested the heater ran a cycle of water to ensure no issues .

On arrival customer had a running toilet. Found that the fill valve was set to I made minor adjustments to fix that issue. Also customer wanted a water monitor system for the home I present with the stream labs system. With customer wanted approval I installed a 3/4 stream labs water monitoring system. Everything is work properly no other issues was found thanks for choosing TE Certified.

Customer called us out for a clogged toilet in the toilet line of the daughter’s bathroom. On arrival they told me the sink in the laundry room was leaking from the handle and the daughter’s toilet was filling very slowly after the fill valve was changed. I recommended having a service tech out to look at the laundry sink handle. I flushed the toilet and it was very slowly after. I recommended troubleshooting the supply line to see if the issues was the supply line or a clog deeper in the water line. Customer agreed. I shut off the water and removed the supply line from the fill valve and tested it. It was slow. I then removed the supply line from the straight stop and put a new one on and got the same result. I recommended having service take a look at that as well.

Properly Performed spring/fall maintenance on a whole home system. Replaced the filter, checked blower wheels for built up dirt/dust, cleaned flame sensors, cleared inducer ports, tested hot surface igniters, took delta Ts, cleared drain lines, tested safety switches, tested all electrical components, tightened all electrical connections, took running volts/amps, monitored systems operations. Replaced the outdoor capacitor.
