HVAC, Plumber & Electrical FAQs
The average cost to replace an electrical panel ranges from $1,595 - $3,000 depending on the amperage. The higher the amperage needed the more expensive the new electrical panel would be. Amp replacement is necessary when the existing system cannot be upgraded to meet new standard needs or when there is a safety risk to the existing system.
Tankless water heater cost in Marietta ranges from $1,500 to $5,000 depending on the size and type of the water heater being installed. Tankless water heaters have a higher initial price compared to tank heaters because of a more labor-intensive set-up if new gas and water lines are required for installation. For electrical tankless heaters, new electric wiring will probably not be needed for installation in most cases.
If you're experiencing AC not cooling your Marietta area home while the system is powered on, you could have a clogged or blocked coil. Unfortunately, a wide variety of debris can find its way into this equipment, including grass, dirt, and other contaminants. This can result in a serious clog, which can lead to a system malfunction. The best way to prevent this is with regular AC cleaning and maintenance visits.

Job Locations and Reviews
Customer called us out for a clogged bathroom in theHVAC and water heater hub drain. I gave the customer multiple options and they chose to have the line cleared with a flex shaft machine and a bottle of Endure for drain maintenance. I ran the flex shaft down the line three times. Then tested the line with lot of water. Water heater and water pressure looked good.
After suffering a heat stroke yesterday our ac went out. Spent the night at a hotel. TE Certified quickly schedule our appointment. In less than 24 hours Wayne to the rescue!!! We was knowledgeable, honest and courteous. We greatly appreciated Wayne working on a holiday weekend, outside in this unbearable heat. Thank you Wayne!!!
Initial observations revealed the package unit is short cycling in cool mode due to head pressure maxing out over 600 psig. The condenser coil is clogged and requires a chemical cleaning which can cause this concern due to lack of air across this coil. 14x20x1 filter was clean today. Chemically cleaned condenser coil at client approval and started system back up which immediately reduced head pressure to normal ratios. Drain p-trap was clogged so I flushed it out while cleaning the coil. Ran system for approximately 15 minutes to monitor temperature/pressure correlation for any further concerns superheat is 4 degrees which is very low and could indicate an overcharge of refrigerant as head pressure is still a bit high at 435 with a low pressure of 140. If refrigerant was added to this system with a dirty coil that would explain the overcharge. Recovery of excess refrigerant would be advised, however, this unit is 13 years old and has expired its life expectancy. The dual capacitor is b
Tech was out for no cooling , tech found the following side of furnace cabinet is open or filter is located. This is causing flu gases from water heater to be pulled into home. Also heat exchanger has a crack. Blower wheels need to be cleaned capacitor on indoors need to be replaced. Evaporator coals are rusted extremely. Gas lines are incorrect. This is not up to code. This would need to be fixed. Flu pipe is single wall also corroded this would need to be fixed. Door switch to the furnace is bypassed that needs to be fixed for safety. Outdoor units need to be cleaned chemically. Fan motor on outdoor unit is showing where and tear and then also all residue this indicates fan motor failure. System is R 22. If any major components fell there are no replacement parts. Capacitor has failed causing the system not to cool. Spoke with customer about replacing system. Customer has declined at this time. Customer went with the basic bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today.
For today’s service, we were called out here because they do not have hot water since last night and would like for us to take a look at the water heater to see what the issue is. Based on my visual inspection of the water heater I found that it is manufactured in 2017 and that the water heater generally have a life expectancy of 10 to 12 years. It is getting that time that the water heater does need to be replaced. However, the current water heater is not leaking and the pile light is out to heat the water. This generally give signs that the water heater is potentially on its way to being replaced. I recommended to replace the water heater. That’ll guarantee that they won’t have this issue again with the pile light going out. Nick chose to have us try to relight the water heater to give them some borrowed time before replacing the heater itself. As part of my service, I took apart the gas lines to inspect inside to see if there are any restrictions of gas flow. I put the gas fittings
Initial observations of UL system revealed a clogged 16x25x5 filter and replaced with client provided filter. Drain line is clogged as it goes underground but there is an open tee just before so it reduces the chance of it back up into the home unless a clog develops before the open tee outside. Water is currently flowing out of the tee so the drain appears to be clear at this time. Tested both capacitors to be outside of parameters and recommend replacing them with a single Turbo 200X that has a 5 year manufacturer warranty as opposed to two separate capacitors that each only have 1 year warranty. Temperature/pressure correlation of the UL system revealed low refrigerant levels suggesting a leak. This system is 13 years old reaching its life expectancy. A leak search can locate the leak for repair options which will be costly to invest into a 13 year old system or we can just add refrigerant as a temporary solution but it will just leak out again. Long term solution is replacement of
On today’s visit, we performed an inspection of a home under renovation to be sold. The Main panel is a 150A Bryant main breaker panel. I found signs of corrosion on the bus and would highly recommend replacement through a service upgrade. I would also recommend replacing the ungrounded receptacles in the kitchen, running a new line for the water heater, installing a new line and outlet for the dryer, and other repairs.
We’ve been called out here because they noticed water leaking in the mechanical room where the water heater and HVAC system is located and is unsure of which one is leaking water. After further diagnosing and inspecting the area, I’ve come to the conclusion that the HVAC system is leaking for the air filter is soaked with water and you can visibly see water leaking inside of the unit and onto the floor. A HVAC technician will come out and take a look at the system to see if it’s repairable or if it needs to be entirely replaced. They are scheduled for Monday morning between the hours of 8 to 10 to take a look at the HVAC system.
For this job, I roughed in provisions for and installed (6) new pendant lights for the downstairs basement den. The circuit that was run has been put on a 15amp dual function Siemens breaker for maximum safety for personnel and equipment. All wire has been strapped and supported, lights and dimmer switch have been tested and functionality verified.
No Cool - Upstairs Do a capacitor failed on the upstairs outdoor unit. As a likely result of the capacitor failing on the fan side, the high-pressure switch also has failed. A temporary bypass was performed to allow the customer to have cooling until a decision can be made to either repair or replace. The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. This option is a bypass and a temporary fix. Customer is aware that if anything else fails as a result of this bypass, we are not responsible. Bypassing the high-pressure switch to allow the system to cool until we can either replace the equipment or make the repair. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
Quick response and great service
Came out today for a clogged drain line and condensating drain line. Found the termination point to be outside by the condenser unit I hooked up my vacuum to the termination point and continued to pour water down the drain line. Drain line was clogged and not aligning water to flow even with the vacuum on the other end eventually, there was enough pressure inside the drain line that it eventually cleared out. I continued to pour 6 gallons of water down the drain line no issues. I also poured down a bottle of endure. I then insulated the drain line upstairs. I informed the homeowner the reason why the drain line sweats is that the closet is not ventilated properly. The closet is very humid. The door to the closet should have a louver door. The cold water leaving the system, and the humid conditions is why the drain line is constantly sweating. Informed the homeowner about our membership program however, the homeowner is planning on leaving and selling the home in two months. He also wa
Homeowner inquired about leak from side of the yard. After further diagnosis technician found leaking was coming from temperature and pressure relief valve on water heaters. Technician check pressure and found pressure was over 100 psi. Technician replaced pressure reducing valve and normal working pressure was restored. Technician warned homeowner of improper install on both water heaters. Many issues were observed such as corroding, inlet and outlet pipes, leak from natural gas, water damage around burner assembly, improper fittings, and temperature pressure relief valves ran in PVC
Very efficient, thorough, and polite. I would recommend him and T&E.
Customer called us out for a back up of the master bathroom and the main floor hall bathroom. On arrival the customer showed me the bathrooms. I tested them and found there was still a blockage. The upstairs bathroom she wanted me to take a look at and I found that it was leaking from the tank bolts and had a crack in it. I gave the customer multiple options and she chose to have the upstairs toilet replaced and the main floor hall bathroom toilet pulled and cleared from. I removed the main floor toilet, ran my closet auger down the line and cleared it. I then tested the toilet using both bathroom fixtures and reset the toilet. I removed the old toilet from upstairs and installed a new kholer high arc round toilet. I tested for function and to adjust settings. I cleaned thoroughly
Shane was great. Very professional. Fixed the leak!
Stephen, thank you for taking the time to leave a 5-star review. We are glad Shane was professional and fixed the leak. We will share your feedback with him. Thank you for choosing TE Certified.
Arrived on site to address a leaking gas line at the furnace a plumber found. Today I showed up, confirmed the leak at a coupler above the valve, removed the gas line, added new pipe dope and ensured all gas connections were sealed, snug and without leaks. We tested before and after and discovered no active leaks upon completion. Payment collected via credit card. Invoice emailed to client upon completion, call complete.
Installed shower pan and surround. Installed sliding shower door. Installed shower trim. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
Installed two new ceiling fans on back patio/sunroom and upper daughter’s bedroom. New boxes and customer supplied fans.
For this job the customer wanted to replace her existing reverse osmosis system with a new one. I also informed the customer that the shut off valves under the kitchen sink were not functioning properly and decided to replace those as well. The new shut offs were installed and the new reverse osmosis system was plumbed in. I waited approximately 2 hours to fill the tank and drain per halo instructions. All work was thoroughly tested for leaks and proper function.
Customer had leaking pull out hose from their kitchen sink faucet as well. There was a little bit of water whenever it was on the countertop that was leaking down from the faucet itself. Customer agreed to our quote to caulk the faucet in as well as replace the pullout spray hose after it arrives at the customers house. This has already been set up and scheduled. Thank you for choosing trusting TE with your plumbing needs.
For this job, the customer called us out today due to a burning smell they noticed in their master bedroom last night. I inspected every outlet, switch, ceiling fan, and the attic. I could not find any burning or signs of heat build up. I believe this may have been caused by dust and hair build up on the ceiling fan and it got hot due to use. I recommend cleaning the ceiling fan and the devices in the room. I also left the customer with some recommendations. Thank you for choosing TE Certified Electricians!
this was the second time Casey service my HVAC. both times was quick, efficient, listened to what I said and proceeded as asked.
The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Drain line badly clogged. A fitting was accidentally broken by the homeowner. The drain line was repaired and cleared with approval. Thank you for choosing TE certified!
Change the bulbs on the high ceiling upstairs. Install proper disconnect switches for furnace and air handler unit. Install a gfci at condensate pumps.
The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Outdoor capacitor failed. Replaced with approval. System is 20 years old. Advised homeowner that the equipment is likely on its last leg. The decision was made to just keep the unit running for now. System cooling upon departure. Thank you for choosing TE certified!
The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Outdoor capacitor failed. Replaced with approval. System now back to cooling. Thank you for choosing TE certified!
As always, TE comes through with excellent, professional and friendly service by Albert. The entire experience was exceptional. Thank you Albert for such great work!
Re-secure pool equipment back to newly installed fence
No Cool - Main Floor No call was a result of a leaking drain line as it exits the evaporator coil. Repair drain line and verified it was flowing properly. Condensate pump is out of the drain pan and should have a drain pan as well as a safety attached to it for flood protection. System is 12 years old. It may be a good idea to proactively look into options to replace before it does breakdown.
Service tech Andrew was very knowledgeable and thorough. He explained inspection process, identified the issues and provided several options. After the work was completed, he showed me exactly everything that had been done. Awesome service!
On time, explained everything and timely fix

Vinny Gentile was absolutely fantastic! He treated me like I was the only customer in the world. He took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, figured out the best way to make it happen, and took great care of me from start to finish. Vinny is professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and truly cares about his customers. Exceptional service is hard to find these days, and Vinny definitely delivers it. I highly recommend him!
Bryan came to help a clogged sink. He was early to the appointment, through, personable, and most importantly knowledgeable. What was a somewhat stressful situation (any home repair issue is) was mitigated by his demeanor and expertise. Hopefully not in the near future but I will be a repeat customer. Pricing is a bit on the high side but all plumbers in general are and that didn’t have an impact on the level or service I received. He doesn’t set pricing.
Hardworking, efficient, responsive to questions, personable, knowledgeable. Did a great job completing my hot water heater install in an awkward to work in crawl space. Love it.
I need him to return. The three way light switch in the bathroom now trips the breaker.
Timely and polite, Jason and his crew member were perfectly professional. We always appreciate TE Certified. Thank you. Highly recommend.
