Homeowner wanted to install a garbage disposal in the kitchen. Due to limited space for the drain we went with the 3/4 horsepower Insinkerator. Removed sink drain piping and basket strainer. Installed disposal sink bracket and secured. Installed plug for the electrical and set disposal in place. Installed new P trap and connected the dishwasher drain to the disposal. Capped the old dishwasher drain. Tested and everything is working properly at this time.

Kitchen sink light troubleshooting. Upon arrival kitchen sink light were having an issue. On wouldn’t turn on and one was pulsing. Dimmer controlling lights were not set properly. Discovered light fixtures are not dimmable. LED drivers are burnt out due to lack of voltage over time. Lights were previously installed by Sheetrock screwed to wall with no junction box for wiring.

Called out to address leaking main shut off valve. Gave homeowner options for replacement of the shut off combined with replacement of the hose bib shut off that is right next to it in order to get rid of multiturn valves and only have quarter turn valves. Homeowner agreed and work was started. Begin by shutting off water to the home and draining the system. Once the system was drained, cut out old multi turn valves and installed new quarter turn ball valves for the main and for a hose bibs. Once work was completely re-introduce water to the system and purged all air from the lines and tested for leaks. No leaks and everything is functioning properly. Gave the homeowner multiple options for proactive replacement of water heater due to it being almost 10 years old. They will review the estimate and call to schedule when ready to move forward. For this job I came out and replaced a water heater, flue vent was piped into chimney, as an alternative customer decided to go with a 50 gallon power vent. I removed old flue vent and capped off remainder. I then ran a new vent for my power vent using schedule 40 pressure pvc pipe. I drilled a 2in hole to exterior of home running new vent. I then placed a 45 degree fitting on the exterior with a bird screen. Installed new water heater pan that has a pipe drain running to sump pump. Also installed an expansion tank and strapped and secured it properly. Tested and checked for leaks and conducted a super clean up.

He investigated the outside water issue and explained clearly the two options we had - either a repair or replacement of the line. We chose the replacement option and his team was out the next morning. Work was done in the time he had estimated and everything was cleaned up nicely afterwards. He made sure all of our questions were answered. He was professional and polite and represented the company well. We will use him again if needed and will recommend him to friends and neighbors.
