Vent modification which includes cutting the Sheetrock ceiling (we do not replace Sheetrock) removing built in stand, replacing the hose bib and the pressure reducing valve and making. copper pipe modifications. Includes running a pan drain to the exterior. Includes the removal of sharkbite flex hoses that are located in the wall behind the water heater (replace w/copper) We performed work as per estimate, and also added a new whole,home shutoff valve.

Customer had a leak on the recirculating pump next to the water heater. The expansion tank was also filled with water and needed to be replaced. We replaced the recirculating pump with a grundfos comfort pump and added another check valve above the pump with a boiler drain. We replaced the expansion tank and strapped it to the wall. The upstairs bathroom’s tub spout was also constantly dripping so we replaced the cartridge as a courtesy. Customers pressure was also very low so we showed him how to turn it up himself and are not responsible if anything were to happen.

For this job, we performed the replacement of two 50 gallon Rheem professional water heaters. Installed a new recirculating pump and added new copper above the two units. Additionally, we replaced the pressure regulator reducing the home water pressure from 120 psi to 70 psi upon completion we conducted a compressive inspection thoroughly cleaned up work area and verified all systems were operating Leak free and as intended thank you for your business.

Client had a complete RHEEM HVAC system installed in 2023. The contractor is no longer in business and they installed the incorrect furnace with a communicating inverter driven condensing unit. It was wired with both Y and Y2 to single stage furnace so the unit only runs in second stage and is not operating first stage to assist in dehumidification rescuing its efficiency. Client would like an estimate to replace the furnace and thermostat to allow the system to operate as fully communicating and also interested in adding zone control to allow the basement to maintain itself independently.

Main level - Not cooling System not cooling due to a bad evaporator coil. The coil is freezing up due to a failed internal metering device for the coil. The connection at the metering device is also pinched and one of the capillary tubes are as well. Quoted replacing the coil but recommend replacing full system due to age, condition, rusted areas, and multiple weak components that are at the end of life expectancy as well. The compressor is the main concern at this point, the compressor is in poor health and could fail at any time. The homeowner let me know the system has been running like this for a couple years, this is a huge factor in why the compressor is in such bad shape. Upon arrival spoke to customer about a gas dryer that was delivered and unable to be hooked up due to existing 3/4 gas fitting size. Gave options. Tied on to existing gas valve. Reduced from 3/4 to 1/2. Installed flare fitting included with new dryer. Installed female flare on the dryer. Dryer installer will return to hook up unit.

Homeowner called us out to investigate high water bill. Upon initial inspection of the water meter, I saw the meter spinning. After isolating the main, the meter stopped spinning which ruled out the waterline that was replaced 5 months ago. I then checked every toilet in the home, and found the toilet in the master bathroom running. After flushing the toilet, it didn’t run anymore. I recommended replacing or rebuilding the toilet if it begins to run again. There are no other evident indicators of water loss at this time.

We came out to troubleshoot why the customer was getting shocked on the waterline. After an extensive troubleshoot and testing the neutral on the home, we concluded that there are no current issues inside their home. We have contacted the power company and they are sending a truck out here to test the utility site to see if there are any issues there

Completed HomeCare inspection. Found the thermostat with only 4-wires although the equipment servicing the home is a heat pump and air handler. Customer complained about her electric bill being very high in the winter. I advised that’s because the heat pump feature has never been engaged since the system was installed. Run new 18/8 wire to the Nest thermostat. Programmed the thermostat correctly for heat pump and air handler. I used the four wires the outdoor unit has to engage both heating and cooling cycles outside. Due to 90° temperature outside I am unable to test the heating cycle properly but everything is wired as it should be and should work just fine when it is time to run the heat.

Upon arrival, met with customer and spoke with them regarding the issue they are experiencing. We replaced the customer’s sewer outside last year and the customer has two bathrooms on the main floor inside. The toilets are back to back to each other and are connected using a cross fitting or combo wye. This causes the drain cable to go up the other toilet when trying to snake the toilet. Customer is currently experiencing a blockage affecting both bathrooms and the blockage is located inside the house not outside. I opened the cleanout near the home. Water was not holding inside but the water from the bathrooms was flowing to the cleanout very slowly confirming there is likely a partial/soft blockage in the line. Gave customer options to clear the line and after getting signature approval I began work. Ran k400 drain machine upstream from the outside cleanout into the home. Customer ran bathtub and watched the toilets while I ran the machine. Cleared soft blockage roughly 40-50’ downst

System not cooling properly and sweating from some supply registers. Evaporator coil is very dirty and impacted, blower wheel is very dirty, as well. Single capacitor weak (reading 8.7 on a 12.5 microfarad), no flood protection at all. Recommend to do a chemical wash on the evaporator coil and blower wheel, replace single capacitor and install an wet switch and in line switch (to prevent water damage on the floor, in case of drain line get clogged). Furnace and evaporator coil are 17 years old and condenser 2 years old. No much airflow , due to evaporator coil and blower wheel being impacted with dirty and hair inside. Due to the age and condition of the system, the best option would be to upgrade the system, with 10 years warranty and WiFi thermostat. Set a lead to quote upgrading for the only system for tomorrow afternoon.

Only receiving 20 to 22 volts at the condensing unit contactor. Replaced contactor and low voltage wire only getting 20 volts so we replaced wire as well from condenser to furnace and tested system has now engaged cooling mode. Temperature/pressure correlation of refrigerant charge is showing low subcool suggesting a leak. System is cooling in an inefficient state at this time. This cooling system is 16 years old and has expired its life expectancy. Replacement is recommended as your energy bills will be higher and you will have continued costly repairs on this aged system.

Visually inspected gas line to grill. Everything looks good and up to code from what I can see. Painted gas line by the meter to prevent rust. Customer has slow draining and water backing up in main level and upstairs bathroom. Getting drain department scheduled. Note: we have completed an visual plumbing inspection for the pool gas line. (TE Certified did not install the work. This permit that is being pulled is for the city to come inspect the above ground portion of the gas line). The pool was built a few years ago that never passed the final. We are pulling the permit in order for the county to come out and inspect on the final. According to the contractor, the underground portion has passed final. We inspected the above ground portion. If the inspector says that additional repairs needs to be fixed, that will have to be quoted additionally.

For this job, the customer showed us a leak that appeared in the basement drop ceiling. After investigation we found the toilet in the hall bath was leaking. The customer opted to replace the toilet, and while we had the toilet pulled we went ahead and replaced the shut off for the toilet. The customer also had two leaking traps in the master bathroom. We replaced both traps to stop leaks. Once complete we cleaned up and tested everything. Thank you for choosing TE Certified

Hayden called us out to his tenets home because he had an issue where his bathroom lights weren’t working. During our troubleshoot, we found that the outlets in the bedroom are backstabbed and not sending power to the bathroom. Hayden did not want to move forward with any work other than the troubleshoot.

Upstairs System - Not cooling - 2023 Furnace/2015 AC System not cooling due to age related issues. The compressor rotor is starting to lock up and has caused the starting components to fail. The system is over amping on start up and during run time. The condenser fan motor is running hot and has leaked out most of its oil. The furnace on this system has already been updated and is a 2023 model. Recommended updating the coil and condenser portion of the system to avoid more breakdowns. This compressor is at the end of its life expectancy. Installed new starting components as a temporary repair and tested equipment. System is cooling to its best ability at this time. Troubleshot tripping breaker for bonus room

Today we replaced the customers 20 year old water heater with a new Rheem 50 gallon gas water heater. We replaced the water heaters shut off with a brass quarter turn ball valve and also replaced the expansion tank while also securing it to the wall. We replaced the gas shut off valve as a courtesy along with redoing the flue in B vent as a courtesy. We set the water heater in a tuff pan and capped the pan and put a leak alarm inside of it. We insulated the water heater with fiber glass insulation. We also installed a 4 year extended warranty kit on the heater to bring it up to a 10 year warranty.

Installed two 15a circuits for mini split

Repaired damaged wiring in attic from rodents.

No Cool Upstairs System The upstairs equipment failed to cool today due to a failed dual capacitor. After further investigation, I noticed the contactor is slightly pitted. The furnace is 2019 but the AC and coil are both 2006 and they’re using our 22 refrigerant. Replaced the capacitor today to get the system up and running and advise customer. It would be a good idea to look into options to replace the AC and.

Only System - Not Cooling 23 year old ,Enid system not cooling due to age related issues. The system has a weak condenser fan motor and compressor, the blower wheel is impacted with debris, the heat exchanger has some small cracks, the evaporator coil had debris and biological growth on it, and the condenser coil is dirty. The fan motor on the outdoor unit has leaked out all its oil and the windings are weak. The starter for the motor was weak but nit dead, I upgraded the starter and freed up the shaft and the motor came on. This is a temporary repair and I can’t promise any amount of life out of the motor given its condition. The system is low on R-22 refrigerant due to the evaporator coil is leaking. The evaporator coil is rusted and you can see the oil stains from the refrigerant where it had been leaking I performed an electronic leak search with the homeowner present so he could see the compromised area in person.
