Arrived on site to troubleshoot intermittent power loss and flickering lights in upstairs bathrooms, bedroom, and garage. After checking outlets and switches, I noticed an outdoor outlet. I took this outlet a part and discovered a burnt neutral connection. Once this connection was reworked, everything worked as it should. I also replaced a box and GFCI outlet in the garage. This outlet will not reset due to faulty outlets/connections down stream. I discussed with the homeowner and they are going to remove the outlets themselves. I also discussed some issues with the electrical panel. Everything is working upon departure.

Came to troubleshoot beeping smoke detectors. Discovered existing smoke detector units were expired and replaced them with Smoke/Carbon detectors. Units will last 10 years and battery backup will need to be changed every 6 months to a year. We recommend changing all batteries if one of them starts intermittently chirping. Upstairs System - Inspection - 2024 Goodman Heatpump/AirHandler Completed full inspection on upper level system. System was heating on arrival but having some intermittent issues. Observed that the system is over charged with refrigerant and would kick the outdoor unit off on high pressure and only run the heat strips. I balanced out the refrigerant levels and ran the system through several cycles to ensure consistent operation and heating. At this time there are no other issues with the equipment. Repair pinhole leak on return line to water heater. Customer opted for the option to repair it with a ball valve which also helps any further maintenance on the water heater recirculation pump. Also provided customer with a leak alarm as a courtesy. The original issue was a pinhole leak on the hot return line to the water heater. A pin hole was created in the red pex used to pipe in the return line to the recirculation pump. This pinhole leak cause water to be sprayed continuously in the Elliot’s basement. Upon my repair no further issues or leaks were present.

Everything about our experience with TE Certified was top notch. Our hot water heater went out and I wrote my request at 10 pm. Within minutes I got a response and easily got an appointment. When I called the next morning to see if we could get an appointment that day, we were immediately escalated and sent frequent text messages with exact info on when the technician would arrive. Then we were even sent a bio and photo of our tech, whose name is Paris. We were concerned that we were going to have to buy a new hot water heater. But Paris trouble shooted and spent most of the day getting the replacement part and ensuring that everything was working properly again.
