HVAC, Plumber & Electrical FAQs
The average cost to replace an electrical panel ranges from $1,595 - $3,000 depending on the amperage. The higher the amperage needed the more expensive the new electrical panel would be. Amp replacement is necessary when the existing system cannot be upgraded to meet new standard needs or when there is a safety risk to the existing system.
Tankless water heater cost in Marietta ranges from $1,500 to $5,000 depending on the size and type of the water heater being installed. Tankless water heaters have a higher initial price compared to tank heaters because of a more labor-intensive set-up if new gas and water lines are required for installation. For electrical tankless heaters, new electric wiring will probably not be needed for installation in most cases.
If you're experiencing AC not cooling your Marietta area home while the system is powered on, you could have a clogged or blocked coil. Unfortunately, a wide variety of debris can find its way into this equipment, including grass, dirt, and other contaminants. This can result in a serious clog, which can lead to a system malfunction. The best way to prevent this is with regular AC cleaning and maintenance visits.

Provide and install a Panasonic whisper bathroom fan in the master bathroom near the air vent. Relocate the existing outlet to the sink location and repurpose the old outlet location for the fan switch.
For this job, I came out for a leaking hose bib that was not able to shut off. Went ahead replaced hose bib with new pipping and bib.
No cool cause not identified but condenser coil was heavily impacted by buildup and compressor sounded sluggish upon initial start up. Equipment lacks adequate flood protection and recommend iWave Air Ionization System.
Removed 50 gallon natural gas water heater and order to replace shower valve. Technician cut out a hole in order to gain access to valve and installed a new moen one handle shower valve with remodel plate. In addition technician pulled and reset basement toilet due to the toilet before being loose at the base. Installed new closet bolts, wax ring, and supply line. Arrived for 2 Ruud systems with communication/inverter issues. Homeowner mentioned he recently opened condenser to wash the coils. After condensers were put back together is when fault codes started appearing. Inspected furnace electrical components, safety switches and thermostat. Inspected inverter driven condensers, checked refrigerant levels and fault history. No faults were stored in memory on inverter but thermostats had multiple faults, all said inverter fault communication failure. Started going through checkout procedures on thermostats and found settings went back to factory default. Programmed thermostat settings, tested system operation in cooling, heat, fan on and fan auto. Noticed the 3 ton system for second floor had a significant wobble. Recommended replacement of condenser fan blade. Will send fan blade replacement estimate once information from dealer is received.
Ran switch legs and switched outlets
Today I came out for 1 system Home Care. Furnace is located in the garage. I inspected all electrical components, checked gas pressures, static pressures, blower wheel, evaporator coil, heat exchanger, duct work, cleaned flame sensor, cleaned inducer draft tubing, changed the filter, and cleared drain lines. Blower wheel has dust and debris build up on fan blades. Both supply and return ducts have dust and debris all throughout. There is a humidifier on the system and there is just standing water in the humidifier pan. This is increasing the humidity in the house. There is biological growth forming on top of the evaporator. The filter is positioned diagonally and is allowing unfiltered air to pass through. For the condenser, I checked all electrical components, coils, and refrigerant pressures. Condenser coil are heavily impacted with dirt and debris. I noticed the dryer vent is heavily impacted with lint. After going over all my findings and options, Brooks has agreed to have Option
Install 2 way 4” clean out on main sewer line
Homeowner has a small drip coming from the exhaust for the tankless. The drip is on a 2” pressure 90°. I cut out and removed the failed 90°. Installed a new 2” pressure 90° and approximately 6” of 2” pressure PVC, with a pressure coupling. Connected to existing exhaust system. The exhaust has a significant bow to it, if another leak forms, at that point, it would be time to cut out and remove the bowed section of exhaust. I informed the homeowner of this issue. Water pressure in house is 55 PSI The water heater is a Navien NPE-240A2 that is 2 years old
Customer had seized and leaking disposal for pantry sink. Customer opted to have disposal removed. Removed disposal and install a new basket strainer, ptrap and extension. Ran water and checked for leaks. I then filled sink and allowed to drain. No leaks. Thank you for choosing te with your plumbing needs

For this job u came out for a leak in the ceiling directly below a tub with jets, after performing diagnostics the leak seems to be coming from the tub jets there is mold build up in the sub floor from a leak. The jets on the tub are cracked and when filled up can potentially cause a leak. Also recommend property medics come out and take a look at the mold build up.
Performed a Homecare maintenance inspection on the whole home HVAC system. Tested heating and cooling from the thermostat. Measured the electrical component readings. Inspected the safety and cleanliness of the system. Checked the air filter and replaced the 1” with an AprilAire media filter with approval from the customer. Also replaced the weak 45 mF dual capacitor with a brand new one with the proper readings. Reported findings to the customer.
Upon arrival spoke with the customer about a leak in her main level closet and a customer supplied toilet that she wanted to have installed. Options were given. Cut open ceiling in main level closet and found a small pin hole leak on a 3/4 copper water line. Replaced section of piping with pex. Removed ole cracked toilet and discovered the flange was broken. Flange was removed and new one was installed. Build new toilet and installed. Base was sealed with silicone. Water was turned back on and air was bled from the system. Recirc pump was plugged back in. All work was tested for functionality and verified to have no leaks.

Today we came out for main and second level not heating properly 2015 Lennox 45k with matching 3 ton ac 2 stage. Cycled equipment from each zone and checked operations found failed variable speed motor. Inspected heat exchanger with digital camera found rust, metal fatigue and hot spots. Heat exchanger is compromised and could fail at anytime. Checked ac unit found pitted contactor, failed duel capacitor 40/10 reading 37/4 damaging compressor and condenser fan motor each time equipment starts. Both condenser coils are impacted with dirt causing strain on compressor. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. Left band aid repair options and scheduled install supervisor to give options on updating equipment. Manufacture warranty has expired on all equipment
Customer called us out for the left sink in the master bathroom not draining properly. I inspected the sink and it stopped up very quickly. Customer did not have any other drain issues at this time. Water heater was newly installed by T.E. and water pressure was at a good level. I suggested cleaning the sinks p-trap and stopper along with a bottle of Endure drain maintainer. Customer agreed. I removed the stopper and p-trap and cleaned them both. Then I cleaned out the popup assembly. I put every back together and tested throughly for any leaks. Cleaned up and put everything away for the customer.
Customers stop valve was leaking water into the dish washer creating a leak. We removed the old stop valve that supplied the hot side on the kitchen sink and dishwasher and installed a second stop valve on the hot side for the dishwasher.
Performed camera inspection from basement clean out by washer and went to tap tie in. Majority of the piping interior and exterior is original cast iron with several areas of concern. Quoting options to move forward
I came out today and installed (2) customer supplied fixtures located at the top and bottom of the stairs for the basement. The customer said he was aware that the paint would be different where the older fixture was and he said they would take care of it. I tuned the lights on to ensure they are working.
We moved multiple circuits from the main house to the generator panel. We move the water heater, the kitchen outlets, the living room, outlets, the master bathroom outlets, and the refrigerator. We also moved two of the AC units and furnaces onto the generator. We also installed load sheds for the AC unit units in whole home surge protection for all three electrical panels.
Gfi in upstairs bathroom is broken, we did a attic inspection and found the wire that was chewed only got through insulation, we rubber tapped wire and told customer to get attic sealed and then we will come back and do another inspection in case more wire was chewed. We noticed that no bathroom gfi had power and found a hidden gfi in basement behind art work, re wired that gfi so every bathroom is now line sided gfi.
Provide and install a 48a max charge rate Tesla wall connector in the garage. We provided the wall charger, new wire and breaker for this install
Customer called us out for a leak under the kitchen sink, signs of a leak in the living room ceiling and a slow draining bathtub in the master bathroom. The liquid under the kitchen sink was a bottle of cleaning product. The spot on the ceiling was most likely caused by mopping in the bathroom above it. The slow draining tub I recommended removing the stopper and running a tub gun down the over flow of the tub. Customer agreed. Customer did not want their water heater checked today. I removed the stopper and found string and hair, I then ran the tub gun retrieving nothing. I put everything back together and tested the tub and it was draining very well. Customer inquired about having the water regulator on the shower head removed but did not want work done today.
