Performed a 1 system homecare today. I flushed the drain lines, cleaned flame sensor, changed his 413 filter. System is heating well with no problems. Checked all IAQ items. System is performing well at this time.

Kevin called out to his home because he needed his light fixture replaced.

We came to rotate the current 50 gallon Rheem hybrids away from each other. We did so as to allow for the discharge of air to no longer be flowing in the inlet of the twin heater. We then reinstalled and insulated all hot lines as is to code.

During our visit, the customer mentioned that they noticed water leaking in the basement under the powder room toilet. Upon inspection, I noticed that the toilet leaked when flushed. Spoke with the customer about solutions. An estimate was approved. Once I removed the toilet, I noticed water on the floor, as well as a bad wax ring. The toilet flange was also lower than the finished floor. A new flange was installed at the right and height and secured. The toilet was reset with a new wax ring and bolts. After testing for leaks, the toilet was caulked at the base. Thanks for choosing Te Certified!!!

For this job, we completed a troubleshoot for heated floors that were getting too hot. We discovered that the breaker feeding the heated floors was crackling and seemed faulty. We replaced the breaker and inspected the thermostat wiring. The thermostat itself has GFCI protection so we replaced the breaker with a standard breaker. It is possible that the thermostat itself is faulty or that the floor sensor is damaged. We gave the customer an estimate for replacing the thermostat and told them that we would recommend having a heated floors contractor inspect the floors to see if it is something else. We also had to cut the pegboard around the main panel in order to take the panel cover off. The customer approved this action.

Troubleshot light fixture is not working in the bedroom and garage. We found out the socket in the ceiling fan had to be adjusted and that the bulb was bad. The floodlight above the carport switch was turned off. And that a GFI was tripped, causing the lights in the Closet area in the carport to not work.

Completed a 3 system Homecare. We flushed drain lines, changed filters and checked system operation to determine system condition, performance and safety. The downstairs unit has a breached heat exchanger and is 20 years old. We spoke about the cost for repairs and she wants to consult her husband before addressing long term solutions. We completed 2 blower cleanings, 2 condenser coil cleanings, fixed the sediment trap for the main floor, replaced the drain line upstairs, insulated both linesets and replaced the run capacitor upstairs. Systems are fully operational upon completion. Call complete.

Replace current 40 gas leaking water heater with an 80 gallon hybrid water heater due to burst. Let home owner know to purchase a smart leak detector due to distance of the heater to rest of house. Advised homeowner of need of louvre door for adequate ventilation.

Installed a ring flood light and camera over the garage entryway door.

For this job, we installed a new 30 amp circuit for a water heater. The water heater is located in the same basement utility room as the panel so we did not install a disconnect. We did reroute two wires from the main panel to the sub panel to give us room in the main panel for the 30 amp circuit.

Homeowner had us install customer supplied faucets. Installed new trap and connected the drain. Tested and cleaned area.

Responded to a service call for a reported leak coming from the kitchen sink. Upon inspection, determined the source of the leak was a faulty kitchen faucet. The homeowner elected to replace the faucet. Installed a customer-supplied faucet and tested the installation to ensure proper operation and no leaks upon completion.

Homeowner has a toilet that is constantly running. The fill valve on the toilet has failed. Discovered that the stop valve for the toilet has also failed, and does not fully close. Upon further investigation, I found that the thermal expansion tank has also failed, and the water pressure upon arrival was 80 PSI. Cut and removed old pressure regulator valve and shutoff valve. Installed new quarter turn ball valve and a new Watts 25AUB pressure regulator. Installed approximately 2’ of copper. Installed a new bonding clamp as there was not one present upon arrival. Pressure regulator is set to 60 PSI. Removed failed thermal expansion tank. Cut and removed 90 and copper female. Installed expansion tank bracket on joist above water heater. Mounted new expansion tank to bracket. Installed approximately 4 feet of copper from cold water pipe to new expansion tank. Attached onto existing copper. Expansion tank is charged to 65 PSI. Troubleshot track lighting in the kitchen.

Homeowner had a leak in the dining room ceiling. Cut open section of drywall to locate the leak. 3/4 copper line had a pinhole leak. Shut water off at the street and drained system down. Cut out section of failed piping and cleaned copper. Installed new section of copper and pressed fittings. Turned water on and purged air from the system. Tested and everything is working properly at this time.

Today I came out to completed quoted work. I changed out contractor on heat pump, replaced heat strips on air handler and sealed up to leaking duct vents. All work has been tested and system is working at time of departure. I hope you have a great week!
