Today we came out for 2018 trane ac not cooling with brand new furnace te installed. Found tripped wet switch due to blocked 3/8” clear tubing. Ran new drain line starter system up, checked condensation pump and left all equipment operational.

On today’s visit I met with the homeowner. The homeowner was having issues with a toilet flushing properly and was unsatisfied with two others. I wrote up estimates to remove and install 3 new Koehler toilets. I received approval and grabbed materials to begin. I removed all toilets and installed new wax rings, supply lines and closet bolts. I tested for leaks and confirmed that all toilets are now functioning properly and drain as they should. I also advised the homeowner that the angle stops to the toilets should be replaced. I did a super clean up after all installs. The homeowner is now happy and satisfied at this time. Provide and replace the existing toilet with Kohler Kingston high efficiency 1.28 GPF toilet w/ soft close seat. Disconnect water supply from the toilet, remove water from the tank, remove tank and bowl from the floor, check drain and flange condition, install a new toilet, check proper flush and clean up the work area. Includes toilet and seat.

For this job I came out, with customers approval Installed new pressure regulator, new main shut off valve, I installed a halo sediment guard for the customer I moved over line to install sediment guard I installed three bypass valves in order for future maintenance on sediment guard. I also replaced two hose bibs, one at front of house secured and siliconed to structure, second one I removed and moved up for customer making new penetration and sealing old one with hydraulic cement. Tested and checked for leaks and conducted a super clean up.

For this job, the customer called us out because she got a new dryer/washer combo for her rental property. The new unit requires a 30 amp dedicated circuit. We installed the new circuit and new outlet for the dryer. We had to make space in the panel with tandem breakers and installed the dryer on a GFCI breaker. Everything is working properly and voltage is correct at the outlet.

Customer had really high pressure it was over 120psi. Also had a leaking shut off valve under kitchen sink. With customer approval I installed a new 3/4 prv and replaced straight stop as a courtesy. Once installed I tested for leaks. I set the pressure to 60 psi issues is resolved thanks for choosing TE certified.

Troubleshoot tripping breaker.

For this call, homeowner wanted to go ahead and replace their existing electric water heaters for new ones as theirs were at about 10 years old in an upper level of the home. Today we came out and removed the old water heaters and installed two new electric heaters with a new recirculating pump as well. After completion of install, we turned water back on to test for leaks and that everything is properly working. After multiple tests, we found everything is working as it should at this time. We had homeowner download the grundfos app so that he could adjust the pump however needed. The day before we installed a new smart shutoff for the home with a new PRV, all in working order. Homeowner has a Kohler toilet that is constantly running. Water is also spraying out of the top of the fill valve. Upon checking the water pressure, I found that the water pressure was 125 PSI. The pressure regulator has failed, and is most likely the cause of the failed fill valve. Disassembled and removed failed pressure regulator. Cleaned fittings. Installed new 1” union into CPVC stainless steel male. Installed new 1” Watts 25AUB pressure regulator. Adjusted pressure regulator to 60 PSI. Unthreaded and removed fill valve and supply line. Installed new brass shank fill valve. Installed new stainless steel braided supply line. Installed new Kohler flush tower seal. Adjusted fill valve to appropriate fill level. Flushed toilet approximately 5 times to test for leaks and ensure proper function. House is piped in CPVC. CPVC is a fragile and finicky piping material, with an increased risk of breaking or cracking compared to other piping materials. Homeowner has been made aware of this.

We replaced a gfci in the operation room

Homeowner called about a pinhole leak in the living room ceiling. After opening the ceiling, I found the leak was coming from a poly water line above the subfloor that supplies the master shower. I explained the repair options, and the homeowner approved the repair. After completing the repair, I tested the line to make sure everything was working properly and confirmed there were no leaks. I also discussed the age of the water heater and the existing water supply piping and provided quotes for a new water heater and a whole-home repipe. The homeowner was satisfied with today's service.

Chemically cleaned the condenser coils for the other upstairs system, and one of the main floor systems, both TRANE units. Replaced filter filters as well. Units now cooling better. Upstairs ductwork needs to be replaced, as there are air leaks, and the majority of the insulation has Deteriorated. Project manager scheduled to come out and quote the showroom Lennox system, as it is 14 years old and low on refrigerant. Estimate will also be given at that time for the ductwork upstairs. Take apart drain assembly and clear blockage in sink. Customer called us out because they were experiencing a blockage inside bathroom sink with a cap inside drain. Took apart drain assembly and removed cap from drain. Cleaned pipe and reassembled. Tested for leaks, clearing successful. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!

We performed a troubleshoot on a whole house fan. We found that both the wall controls have gone bad and needed to be replaced. We replaced it with a single pole switch. Whole house fan is now working.

Small amount of water noticed in the drain pan, causing the water safety to trip. Noticed a rust color around the water and on top of the water safety, indicating the water was dripping from somewhere. Further evaluation revealed a very minuscule amount of water and rust color on the gas line. It was determined that the water dripping onto the gas line was coming from the inside of the furnace exhaust pipe going out through the roof. This tells us that there is an issue with the roof cap for the furnace flue piping. Recommend having roofer come out to inspect roof cap and make necessary repairs. System otherwise cooling properly. Homeowner has a Moen shower valve in which the shower does not adjust temperature properly. Homeowner has already removed the trim, and has a new cartridge on site. Removed cartridge from Moen shower valve. Cleaned inside of valve. Installed new customer supplied Moen cartridge. Adjusted stop to allow for properly hot temperature. Reinstalled trim for shower. Shower is adjusting temperature properly.

The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Outdoor capacitor failed. Replaced with approval. System now cooling. Thank you for choosing TE certified!

For this call, homeowner was wanting to see about getting prices for repair or replacement for water heater as their Vortex AO Smith water heater kept throwing error codes and not heating their water consistently. Upon inspection, we called tech support and tried to resolve the issue but could not get the heater to fire up. We found the exhaust pipe was full of rust sediment indicating it was nearing the end of its life even if we replaced a part for the heater. Gave multiple options from repair up to replacement. Homeowner chose to go with the tankless and ION-6. Went to get materials and came back and competed the install. Checked all of our work for any leaks and that everything was working properly. Replaced old water heater with a new 10 year manufacturers warranty 50 gallon. Repiped as needed. Tested for leaks and function, all good. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified.

Upon arrival spoke with customer about a leaking power vent water heater in the basement. Gave options. Removed existing heater from the system and installed new power vent, in a pan with a water alarm. Installed new piping, ball valve and thermal expansion tank. Ran roughly 10 feet of venting. Connected t and p line. Installed condensate discharge tubing. Installed vapor sensor and turned on the unit. Set heater to 120. All work was tested for leaks and function. Left option for upsizing the vent to 3 in.

Homeowner has a dual pump sewage ejection system that is not working properly, homeowner also has a failed PRV and failed thermal expansion tank. Cut into Sheetrock and located PRV. Cut out failed PRV and installed straight section of 3/4” type L copper, as to relocate PRV to a more convenient spot. Cut out old shutoff valve. Installed new 3/4” quarter turn ball valve. Installed new Watts 25AUB pressure regulator in wall above shutoff valve. Set pressure regulator to 65 PSI. Unthreaded and removed failed thermal expansion tank. Cut out section of leaking piping above water heater. Cut out old shutoff valve for water heater. Installed new 3/4” quarter turn ball valve for water heater. Installed new tee for expansion tank. Charged new 4.5 gallon expansion tank to 70 PSI. Installed new thermal expansion tank mounting bracket on nearby stud. Mounted expansion tank to bracket. Installed approximately 16” of new 3/4” type L copper to expansion tank. Installed new 3/4” brass female on water

Today I returned to install an ice maker box behind refrigerator. Installed I turn water back in to test for leak. Everything is working correctly. Everything is completely no issues was found thanks for choosing TE Certified.

Valve for hose spigot leaking from the shaft. Discussed different options with the customer and we decided to replace the valve only. We attempted to turn the water off at the main valve for the house. She we turned the valve, it started dripping consistently. We discussed the issue with the customer and decided to replace the main valve as well. Replaced hose spigot isolation valve and main shutoff valve. Both valves are now quarter turn ball valves.
