HVAC, Plumber & Electrical FAQs
The average cost to replace an electrical panel ranges from $1,595 - $3,000 depending on the amperage. The higher the amperage needed the more expensive the new electrical panel would be. Amp replacement is necessary when the existing system cannot be upgraded to meet new standard needs or when there is a safety risk to the existing system.
Tankless water heater cost in Marietta ranges from $1,500 to $5,000 depending on the size and type of the water heater being installed. Tankless water heaters have a higher initial price compared to tank heaters because of a more labor-intensive set-up if new gas and water lines are required for installation. For electrical tankless heaters, new electric wiring will probably not be needed for installation in most cases.
If you're experiencing AC not cooling your Marietta area home while the system is powered on, you could have a clogged or blocked coil. Unfortunately, a wide variety of debris can find its way into this equipment, including grass, dirt, and other contaminants. This can result in a serious clog, which can lead to a system malfunction. The best way to prevent this is with regular AC cleaning and maintenance visits.

Caleb far went above and beyond of my expectations
Blake has been so very helpful getting me through my ordeals with a leaky water main line. In finishing up he went above and beyond and found another issue which I need to take care of. He is meticulous and very easy to talk to about the issues
Customer called us out for a back up in the master bathroom. On arrival I tested the shower and sinks. The sinks started to gurgle but not the toilet. I recommended running a tub gun through the shower drain to clear the blockage. Customer agreed. I ran the tub gun through the shower and successfully cleared the blockage. I tested the drain by running the shower and sinks. I then cleaned the shower. Customer did have cast-iron outside but wanted to call us out on a later date.
Connect mainline that was put in from a different company outside by tying in the waterlines at the meter and drilling through a new penetration point into the garage where the mainline is located will be located in the garage next to the water heater and running behind the water heater which I will have to temporarily remove for access, connecting back to the plumbing system.
2 System Inspection Cycled each system through heat and cool from the thermostat. Changed both 1 inch filters, flushed drain lines with 2 gallons of hot water, took temperature readings at indoor equipment, inspected heat exchangers, blower motors, and coils. Checked and tightened all electrical connections, used multimeter to check all motors, power enhancers, and high wear components. The main level system is right at 15 years old and has some major concerns regarding the Gas Furnace. There are multiple cracks and small rust holes In the Heat Exchanger. The blower wheel is dirty/impacted with debris, which is reducing air flow across the heat exchanger and coil. The inducer motor is over amping, the hot surface igniter is weak and failing, the flame rectifier is also weak and reading below manufacture parameters, and the condensation pump ran for over 15 minutes trying to pump out water. The impeller is dirty and damaged. Due to the age, condition, multiple parts outdated, and th
Replaced gen 2 ch breaker.
During our visit, a new waste and overflow was installed for the upstairs bathtub. The old brass and copper drain was rotted out causing it to leak immediately after turning the water on. Drywall had to be removed in the upstairs bedroom closet to access the backside of the bathtub. Also had to cut a few inches from the ceiling downstairs that was already open. New pvc fittings and pipe were installed along with a new chrome trim. The old cast iron p- trap was also replaced. The tub was filled up to the overflow to test for leaks. This repair was tested for leaks and functionality after completion. Thanks for choosing Te Certified!!! Note; I originally spoke with the customer about replacing the three handle shower valve. Considering the handles are leaking when used, the valve needs replaced. The customer opted to leave the existing shower valve. After removing the cast iron p-trap, I noticed the drain had a lot of buildup in it. I cleaned out some of it but the rest would need ei
Added an outlet for the TV
Homeowner has a gas line they need moved for their stove. I removed the black iron pipe coming out of the wall, and replaced it with a shorter piece of pipe. Installed a new black iron 90° and a new gas shutoff valve. I repressurized the gas system, and checked everything for leaks with gas leak detector spray. I ran the new stove to ensure it worked. Homeowner has a water heater from 2007 with no expansion tank. I recommended it or at least adding a thermal expansion tank. Homeowner declined at this time. I relit the water heater before I left, but do to the age of the heater, I advised the homeowner that it could fail at any moment.
Replaced breaker for kitchen countertop outlets
Water leaking to the outside from relief valve on 7 year old water heater. Estimate includes replacing t&p relief valve and failed thermal expansion tank. We attempted repair at t&p valve but repair would not hold due to bad adapter built in to water heater. It appears that relief valve may have leaked for too long causing a corrosion issue. We called Rheem and got approval for a warranty swap. We took the old heater to Home Depot which was the place of purchase. We Replaced the water heater with a new unit provided by Home Depot under warranty. We replaced the Kohler shower cartridge in the downstairs shower. The valve is set too far in the wall so we had to recalling it using a a lot of caulk which was how it was previously installed.
Arrived on site for a 2 system inspection. We have only been here once for a demand call but today he wanted a full inspection of his current systems. There the master bedroom / wing has its own system and the rest of the home is comforted by another. Client replaced filters recently so they were clean today. We flushed all drain lines, tested all operations and completed a comprehensive overview of system condition, performance and safety. We checked all combustion components and tested the system in full. At the completion of the call we spoke about long term maintenance and he joined Homecare today. We collected payment for a year and completed his first homecare while on site today. Call complete.
We installed a new dishwasher outlet with a dual function breaker to insure gfci protection. Customer also purchased a years worth of the home care program.
Replaced front hose bib. Installed a new isolation valve for this fixture. Repiped as needed. Replaced customer supplied water filters as a courtesy while working in the area. Tested for leaks and function, all good. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified.

Cleared floor drain near the sink with cable machine. Attempted to reach out for payment but did not make contact. Charged card on file.
For this job, the customer showed us a leak coming from the hot water line behind the water heater. After cutting open the wall we noticed grey poly in the wall which was leaking where they connected to the water heater. We replaced section with pex, also we noticed another leak in the crawlspace another grey poly pin hole leak. We cut out and replaced that section as well. We left estimates to get out the grey poly from the whole home. Once complete we cleaned up and tested our work. Thank you for choosing TE Certified.

Arrived on site for a 3 system Homecare. Main floor is a 2024 daikin split system, upstairs is a 2010 trane split system and the basement is a 2014 trane split system. We completed a comprehensive overview of system performance, condition and safety. We flushed drain lines/pumps, replaced filters and ensured the system was performing within all manufactured specs. The main floor was running well, being replaced last year. The filter was very very dirty and we replaced the AprilAire 413 filter. No concerns in heating, cooling or communication at all. The upstairs unit was a cause for concern due to the breached heat exchanger we discovered during our inspection. All cells of the heat exchanger have cracks and the blower wheel is very dirty. There are no warranties on this system at all and we shared our findings about the heat exchanger with clients upon completion. The basement unit is the identical design as the upstairs unit, although. 4 years younger. Unfortunately we discovered bre

2 system Home Care - (2) 16 year old carrier Gas Furnaces with AC & Coils I cycled in each system from the thermostat, took amp/electrical readings, temperature differentials, tested all components for ignition system, blower motor, and inspected coil, blower wheel, and heat exchanger. All parts are original and outdated. Due to the age, normal wear, and condition, all parts are subject to failure at this time. The heat exchanger is compromised with a couple small cracks and lots of hot spots, fatigue, and thinning. The heat exchanger gets direct heat from the flame and it expands while heating up them contracts when cooling back down at the end of a heat cycle. In the winter time these furnaces run up to 20-30 heat cycles per day. In doing so the metal can only take expanding and contracting so many times before it starts to crack, thin out. At almost 16 years old given the current condition of this heat exchanger, I recommended updating this equipment as it has reached its safe h
