HVAC, Plumber & Electrical FAQs
The average cost to replace an electrical panel ranges from $1,595 - $3,000 depending on the amperage. The higher the amperage needed the more expensive the new electrical panel would be. Amp replacement is necessary when the existing system cannot be upgraded to meet new standard needs or when there is a safety risk to the existing system.
Tankless water heater cost in Marietta ranges from $1,500 to $5,000 depending on the size and type of the water heater being installed. Tankless water heaters have a higher initial price compared to tank heaters because of a more labor-intensive set-up if new gas and water lines are required for installation. For electrical tankless heaters, new electric wiring will probably not be needed for installation in most cases.
If you're experiencing AC not cooling your Marietta area home while the system is powered on, you could have a clogged or blocked coil. Unfortunately, a wide variety of debris can find its way into this equipment, including grass, dirt, and other contaminants. This can result in a serious clog, which can lead to a system malfunction. The best way to prevent this is with regular AC cleaning and maintenance visits.

Secure a bathroom light fixture back to the ceiling and replaced bulbs in both fixtures.
Install a new gfci and weatherproof cover at the neighborhood entry.
Eric was professions, polite, thorough and efficient. I was shown in detail any concerns and given options per pricing to help determine my best options. Thank you so much.
On today’s visit, I pulled the toilet in the master bathroom, repair flange that had multiple cracks and reset toilet back. I tested the toilet to ensure that it is working properly and is not leaking anymore from the flange that was broken. I also replaced their shower cartridge and the daughter‘s bathroom that was not working properly and would allow water to drip continuously which indicates that the cartridge has failed. Tested the shower to ensure that it is working properly with a nice smooth on off and that it has good pressure. I recommended that if that shower valve is going to become another issue in the later future to replace the entire kit, but the cartridge will get them by for now. Also mentioned about having an electrician come out, which they are scheduled for tomorrow to ground the plumbing system to prevent electrolysis from developing onto the pipes that can create pinhole leaks.
Customer had a very slow drip coming from a c p v c tee in the ceiling of the living room, there was a roughly six inch by six inch hole already cut in the sheet rock. Customer agreed to our quote, to replace the tea. Afterwards, I opened up the sheetrock to roughly one foot by one foot and drained the house down after turning the water off. I then cut out the bad section of pipe and repaired. Allowed it to drive for roughly an hour. And a half. Afterwards, we slowly primed the air out of the freshwater lines throughout the home and allowed it to come back to full pressure. Set at the repair for roughly five minutes. To make sure nothing happened. I then went through the residence and made sure that each fixture was flowing correctly. And that all toilets flushed and shut off within a reasonable amount of time. No further issues.Thank you for choosing and trusting t e with your plumbing needs
Install customer supplied kitchen faucet
12 years parts warranty. 2 years labor warranty ( up to 12 years with Homecare).
Today I responded to a no-cool call. Upon arrival, I found the suction line frozen. After inspecting the indoor unit, I confirmed the evaporator coil was also frozen. The cause of the freeze-up was a severely clogged air filter, which restricted airflow across the evaporator coil and allowed the system to ice over. I explained my findings to the customer and educated them on the importance of replacing filters regularly to maintain proper airflow and prevent future freeze-ups. I offered to defrost the system, but the customer declined and stated they would allow the system to thaw on its own and remove the condensate with a shop vacuum. The customer enrolled in our Home Care Plan during today’s visit. As a courtesy, I flushed the condensate drain line with water to help ensure proper drainage after the system thaws. The customer also purchased a new 16x25x5 air filter. At this time, the customer understands the recommended next steps and is satisfied with today’s service.
Main Level - Not cooling System not cooling for multiple reasons that lead back to age and manufacturing. The system is low on R410a refrigerant due to multiple leaks in the evaporator coil. This is a Lennox C33 evaporator coil, these coils are known for rusting out and leaking refrigerant due to a manufacturer defect of not properly coating the coils. This coil has completely rusted out and has multiple leaks. The compressor in the outdoor unit is also in poor condition. This is a Lennox builder grade AC unit from Mexico and it is at the end of its life expectancy. The compressor is over amping on start up and run, pulling up to 145 amps. There is an LRA rating on the side of the unit, thus stands for Locked Rotor Amps, which represents the amount of power pulled when the compressor is having an internal failure at the rotor. The LRA rating on this unit is 112 amps, this system is consistently pulling between 116 and 145 amps. This compressor is on the verge of failure and could lock
Customer had a wet spot on their ceiling from below their shower. I cut the ceiling and found the drain to be leaking. I resealed the drain with new putty and a new gasket. Tested for leaks and function. No issues.
Robin called us out to her home because after they painted they wanted to replace their switches and outlets. After replacing the gfci outlets none of the bathroom outlets worked. Today I replaced the new gfci outlets in the powder and master bathroom. Before leaving everything was test and working properly
Troubleshoot Use the opened location in the drywall to install a new location outlet and re feed the outlet below from the new outlet location.
Today I came out to complete 2 blower wheel cleanings and strap up upstairs drain line. Both wheels have been pulled, cleaned, and put back in. Upstairs drain line had a couple of bellies forming. I strapped up the drain line in the areas where bellies were to help water drain more efficiently. I then cleared drain line and flushed 3 gallons of water down. The downstairs furnace is from 1996 and has a few areas of concern. It has a cracked heat exchanger as almost ever single burner is separating from heat exchanger. Heat exchanger also has several hot/rusted spots. Both the flame sensor and igniter have heavy carbon build up. Blower motor is leaking oil, but still within tolerance amperage. Burners are heavily rusted all throughout and cracking on the rim. I informed customer, but at this time he is going to postpone on having a project manager come out to quote replacing furnace. Both systems are operating at time of departure. It was a pleasure to see you again and I hope you have a
Replaced faulty outlet for microwave and gen 2 ch breaker for circuit
Customer had a pinhole on his uponor piping. Cut out section of pipe and repaired it. Tested for leaks and function. No issues.
Install customer provided wall connector.
Upstairs and main floor System not working Checked upstairs first as it was just a bad capacitor not kicking on the ODU With homeowner approval we replaced capacitor and system is running Checked out the main level as there was water in the drain pan tripping the wet switch turning the system off Determined the condensate pump failed due to restriction in the tubing line which burnt the motor and pump was not tied into safety switches to shut system off which poured water into pan With homeowner approval we replaced the pump and tied it in series with the safeties and system Main level is now running properly Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
Shane was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable!
Helpful and honest
Arrived on site to troubleshoot a Rheem system not cooling the upstairs. We discovered the system wasn’t running due to the breaker being tripped. We tested and reset the thermostat nd found the compressor was the reason for the failure. We have the compressor locally and will return first thing tomorrow for replacement. We signed up for Homecare today but I’ll return will parts for full repair tomorrow.
System not cooling for main floor IDU was running but ODU was not Checked ODU and it had a code E411 which was low pressure switch lockout so I reset system and got it on and checked refrigerant which was very low Discussed all options with homeowner who decided they wanted to just add refrigerant to get it going Did a leak search with sniffer but did not hit on anything. Added less than 3lbs of 410a and system is up and running and cooling Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
Full system changeout for main floor of home. Upgraded to 96% furnace.
Water stain in master bedroom closet. Unable to definitively locate a cause of the stain. Noticed some old water stains on the top side of the sheet rock, that appear to have been there for quite some time. Noticed an old water spot on the plywood in the attic, water stain, running down, one of the attic rafters from the roof, but everything is currently dry. Noticed two spots of uninsulated, refrigerant line coming from the other upstairs system. Insulated the two spots for peace of mind. Also advised homeowner to contact the plumbing department, as there is a tub and toilet near that general area. Flushed solution down drain line. Cleaned the buildup in the basement condensate pump, flushed the pump as well as the drain line multiple times. No further issues noticed and all systems currently appear to be cooling properly. Thank you for choosing TE certified!
For this job customer had galvanized line for water service. Water line was rerouted around the back tying into the cold water located near the water heater. Valve and box were added in front of the meter. Pressure regulator was also added to the system which can be found near the water heater. Penetrates were sealed with concrete and roof tar. Shut off was also added into the house. Once work was complete the trench was backfilled and the dirt was hand tamped and area was cleaned. Water line was pressurized and tested.
Arrived on site to troubleshoot issues with the master closet light. Upon inspection, we realized the ballast had gone bad. We replaced the ballast in the closet light fixture with a new one and it is now working as it should.
The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Zoning damper for middle floor failed. A new damper and motor were already on site, presumably from the original installation when the home was built. With approval, the function of the new motor and replaced. Excessive air leaks were also noticed, causing system to lose approximately half of its airflow into the attic. Sealed with approval. New home care plan also added. Thank you for choosing TE certified!
Upon arrival spoke to customer about sewage ejector pump that was no longer functioning. High water alarm went off to alert customer. Gave options. Removed existing pump and piping. Installed new 1/2 hp liberty pump, wired in high water alarm, installed new lid/gasket, new ball check combo and reworked the piping for the system. Added additional water alarm and strapped piping to prevent vibrations. Tested pump roughly 10 times.
For todays call, we came out to finish up some final touches to the tankless install we did last Thursday. Put in their crossover tee, insulated and hard piped the condensate line outside the home. Adjusted the setting of recirculation on the tankless for adding in the crossover tee. Double checked all our work and all is working properly at this time. Thank you for trusting TE Certified with all your plumbing needs.

The TE plumbers were on time, courteous, professional and got the job done quickly and efficiently.
Chad did a fantastic job installing our new water heater and bringing everything up to code. I highly recommend him if you want it done right.
Dylan outlined the options for connecting the larger gas supply line to the smaller gas dryer feed. He was knowledgeable in the materials, scope of work and tools required to complete the work.
Andrew came on time. There was a minor problem that he was able to fix. He gave us an estimate of a permanent fix, but didn’t pressure us in any way.
Genis arrived first thing and was able to provide solutions within the hour. He was upfront about the cost and time to complete the job. He was thorough in his explanations. We’d highly recommend TE and Genis for his outstanding service.
I had used TE Certified for my own home and was extremely pleased. So when I needed this for my client, I said I definitely wanted the best. Caleb, was on time, extremely polite and got right to work. He found what was wrong and he fixed it. Couldn’t ask for anything better.
Jeff Currie arrived at our home at the beginning of the expected visit and was professional and efficient. He understood the issue we were having with our tankless water heater and checked out the issue and solving the problem. He made recommendations for what we could do ourselves should this happen again. We have used TE Certified several times and will continue to do so in the future. Thank you, Jeff.
TE Certified did a great job. I had an AC issue and they were able come come out within 24 hours. The tech explained the issue and got it resolved timely for a fair price. The tech was very courteous. I would highly recommend TE Certified
My experience with TE, specifically Craig Garnto, was one of the best home service experiences I’ve ever had. Craig showed up to our initial appointment and I gave him a long list of about 15 things I needed done to my home’s electric; which included installing new outlets in hard-to-reach places, fixing strange switch configurations, and installing a new ceiling fan box. Craig was very friendly and patient as I explained all of my concerns and needs. The quote I received was fair for the amount work I needed done. On the day of the actual work, Craig and his co-worker showed up bright and early and stayed over 10 hours until the job was done. Craig was able to troubleshoot multiple issues and made sure everything was perfect before they left. Thanks for getting our home squared away Craig!
I had a shower valve leaking and they took care of the valve. It works great and is no longer leaking. While checking on the water pressure for the house the technician noticed the water heater was about to cause some major issues, it was 19 years old, and replace that for me as well. Great job! And thank you.
On a hot day I wasn't expected to get service in a few hours, but I did! I knew the issue, they addressed and fixed asap.
They came on time and worked quickly. It's a pleasure dealing with your crew!
Very friendly
Chris is a top-quality service provider with great professional skills and service. Will recommend him to anyone.
