Arrived for a no-cool call. Upon inspection, all components were receiving the proper voltage; however, the condenser fan motor had failed. The customer was informed of the issue and approved replacement. We also noticed that the unit was amping high at start-up and could benefit from a hard-start kit. The condenser fan motor was replaced, and the unit is now functioning but still needs some minor adjustment to run proper and efficient. We performed the sring maintenance for the season today.

After arriving for a no-cooling issue, we performed a full system inspection and found that the Upstairs system had no high or low voltage power. We checked the breaker and the 3-amp fuse, and both were operating properly. Further testing revealed a failed transformer, which we replaced to restore power to the system. Once power was restored, we ran the system in cooling mode and found that the 3-amp fuse failed again. We proceeded to inspect the outdoor unit and found the contactor was reading out of specification (1.3 ohms), indicating it was faulty. The contactor was replaced, and upon re-testing, the system operated properly without blowing the fuse. The homeowner elected to enroll in our maintenance service for both systems. We completed a full spring maintenance on each unit, and at this time, both systems are operating according to manufacturer specifications.

Clear blockage in sink Location: 2nd Floor Jack and Jill Bathroom, right side sink. Customer called us because she had a sink that was slow draining. Tested both sinks and right side was only problem sink. Tested for mainline but sink was only fixture being affected. Took apart pTrap assembly and cleaned drain pipes. Removed sink gunk from drain that was causing slow draining. Reassembled drain and tested for leaks. Ran water for a long duration of time, did not see any signs of system backing up. Clearing successful.

Came out and performed sold work. We installed both the run capacitor for the blower motor and the capacitor for the condenser. We replaced the condenser fan motor. We also installed the wet switch and built and installed the collector box. The unit is now operating to manufacture specifications and airflow has been significantly improved by almost double.

Performed diagnostic on downstairs 23yr old Rheem unit, upon arrival customer stated unit wasn’t cooling stated outdoor fan not spinning, checked tstst, cycled to ac mode, checked filter, customer replaced filter, upon going in crawlspace to inspect furnace noticed customer has a lot of sewage up under , brought to customers attention, recommended plumber, customer declined, inspected 9yr old Lennox furnace, blower wheel was cleaned last visit, capacitor checked ok, upon checking outdoor customer had turned off breaker , turned on breaker and unit started up but not condenser fan motor, checked capacitor, reading weak, recommend replacing, customer approved, installed capacitor motor still didn’t start up, explained condenser fan motor has failed, contactor burned and pitted, condenser coil heavily impacted, went over all repairs explained to customer r22 is obsolete as of 1/1/2020, highly recommended system update due to condition of equipment, customer declined, explained there coul

Leak coming main water service line. Dug down to uncover the pipe, cut out section of the pipe and installed new piping. Turned on the water and pressurized the system. Purged the air from the lines.

Great Service from TE Certified electrician Greg and the young man that was with him (I cannot remember his name)!!! They were knowledgeable, very professional and skilled. Greg took his time explaining his findings, solutions to his findings and the final repairs to remedy the issue. He was also patient in answering questions that I had.
