I was called out to Imbec‘s house to install a thermostat he was trying to put on but it wasn’t working. Upon my arrival I installed the thermostat but then discovered that the fuse on the board was blown. I replaced the fuse free of charge and the heating with the system wasn’t running due to a failed primary limit switch. I tested the system on cool and it began to function normally. Due to the system’s advanced age (19 years old), significant rust that is all over the indoor system, and potential repair costs in the near future replacement is a viable option.
