Lifetime Workmanship Warranty
TE Certified warrants that all workmanship provided by our employees be done in accordance with local building codes and professional standards for the normal life of the installation and will correct any installation that does not meet that standard free of charge, subject to the limitations detailed below.
Electrical and Plumbing Parts Warranty
TE Certified warrants that all parts provided and installed by our technicians be free of defects and that we will repair or replace any defective part free of charge (up to $250 USD). This warranty is subject to the limitations listed here or on the service order. Parts that are discovered to be defective within one year (365 days) of installation are covered by full warranty, which includes the cost of the installation of the new part. Parts that are discovered to be defective after one year are covered under a limited lifetime warranty that covers the cost of the part (up to $250 USD) but not installation. TE Certified must be notified within 30 days of discovering the failed part for it to be covered under this warranty. Generators provided and installed by TE Certified are covered for 3 years only. Traditional water heater parts are covered for 6 years and tankless water heater parts for 10 years.
HVAC No Lemon Guarantee
TE Certified agrees to repair or replace any A/C unit, furnace, or condenser installation that fails within the first 2 years of installation.
HVAC 10 Year Extended Warranty
TE Certified warrants that HVAC equipment provided and installed by our employees be free of defects for ten years and will repair any defective part reported within that time provided that the homeowner regularly maintains their equipment through a maintenance agreement with TE Certified. This extended warranty shall be void with any lapse in maintenance or the maintenance agreement or if the equipment should be serviced or repaired by any third party not authorized by TE Certified during the warranty period.
HVAC Drain Line Warranty
TE Certified guarantees the proper installation of drain lines and pumps by its technician provided the homeowner maintains a maintenance agreement with TE Certified and has an overflow safety shutoff switch installed on the unit. TE Certified does not guarantee against clogs from insects, rodents, debris, inclement weather, abuse, or acts of nature. Proper drain maintenance is critical to keeping condensate drain lines clear and is included in the annual maintenance agreement.
Plumbing Drain Line Warranty
TE Certified guarantees the quality of installation and parts on sewer drain line replacements and repairs for 5 years. TE Certified does not warranty drain line clog removal or clearing when no repair or replacement is done. TE Certified only guarantees the portion of drain installed or repaired by TE Certified. Regular maintenance of drain covers, screens, and traps not included in warranty.
Non-Durable Replaceable Parts
Non-Durable Replaceable Parts are parts that have a limited life expectancy and are designed to be replaced. These types of parts are specifically excluded from this warranty and are not covered by TE Certified. These types of parts include but are not limited to the following: light bulbs, filters, ballasts, fuses, capacitors, and batteries. Non-Durable Replaceable Parts that were not properly installed are covered under the parts warranty.
No Warranty Repair Exclusion
Repairs explicitly listed on the service order as “No Warranty” are excluded entirely from this warranty. TE Certified provides no warranty for “Band-Aid” type repairs. These types of repairs are minimum repairs made to prolong the life of a defective, flawed, or terminal system and contain explicit notes acknowledging the temporary or terminal nature of the repair.
LED Light Bulbs
No Lemon Guarantee. LED light bulbs provided and installed by TE Certified are covered under our parts warranty for 30 days after installation. Warranty claims for LED bulbs must be made within the 30 warranty period. This warranty extends to defective products or improper installation. Acts of God, abuse, or physical damage are not covered under this warranty.
Surge Protection
TE Certified Electricians guarantees the proper installation of surge protectors under this warranty. TE Certified does not guarantee, insure, or warranty against lightning or electrical surges except to the extent that TE Certified will provide a new surge protector in the event one should fail under the Limited Lifetime Parts Warranty. Claims for components damaged by lightning or electrical surges are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty only and not covered under this warranty.
General Conditions and Exclusions:
This warranty extends only to parts and labor provided by TE Certified. Parts provided by others or installations done by others are expressly excluded from this warranty. This warranty does not cover items damaged by acts of nature, misuse, or abuse. Light bulbs are expressly excluded from this warranty unless otherwise specified. This warranty is limited to only those items installed or provided by TE Certified. Remedies for warranty claims are limited to the repair or replacement of the damaged part or faulty installation up to but not exceeding a full refund for the installation or faulty portion of the installation. This warranty does not cover the cost of repairs made by others unless authorized in writing by TE Certified. This warranty does not apply to installations or parts for which TE Certified has not received payment. Failure to pay for a service or installation voids any and all warranty coverage offered by TE Certified. No warranty coverage is extended to pro gratis or courtesy repairs. This warranty is non-transferable and is only enforceable by the original purchaser. No warranty coverage or guaranties are extended to subsequent owners or occupants with the exception of work performed as a condition to the sale of the property and completed within 45 days of the closing. In such case, the warranty for that work will extend to the new homeowner. Cancellation: You may cancel this transaction without penalty within three business days of the signed contract.
