HVAC, Plumber & Electrical FAQs
The average cost to replace an electrical panel ranges from $1,595 - $3,000 depending on the amperage. The higher the amperage needed the more expensive the new electrical panel would be. Amp replacement is necessary when the existing system cannot be upgraded to meet new standard needs or when there is a safety risk to the existing system.
Tankless water heater cost in Marietta ranges from $1,500 to $5,000 depending on the size and type of the water heater being installed. Tankless water heaters have a higher initial price compared to tank heaters because of a more labor-intensive set-up if new gas and water lines are required for installation. For electrical tankless heaters, new electric wiring will probably not be needed for installation in most cases.
If you're experiencing AC not cooling your Marietta area home while the system is powered on, you could have a clogged or blocked coil. Unfortunately, a wide variety of debris can find its way into this equipment, including grass, dirt, and other contaminants. This can result in a serious clog, which can lead to a system malfunction. The best way to prevent this is with regular AC cleaning and maintenance visits.

Minor toilet repairs for hallway, guest bathroom upstairs, and primary bathroom upstairs with new fill valve in the primary bathroom, new toilet handle in guest bathroom, and new flapper in hallway bathroom. Client is made aware about credit back of the minor rebuild work that was done and would be put towards of estimates for toilet replacements if signed off within 60 days the estimate was provided.

No cool main level Make all repairs necessary to restore the unit to full health and eliminate all other concerns. The outdoorcoil was dirty deep cleaned outdoor coil. Tested drain and also pumped out drain. Tested heat, and air change filter for customer. Replaced blower, capacitor and capacitor on outdoor unit. Refrigerant levels check good everything is working properly at this time.

The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Changed one 16 x 25 by one filter for the main floor system and one 14 x 25 by one filter for the upstairs system. I did a very thorough drain cleaning on the upstairs system as it was very clogged. The system is now operating properly at this time.

Replaced two customer supplied lavatory faucets. We also replaced all four emergency shut off valves with new supply lines. Faucets included new pop up assembly. We restored water and tested for leaks. Filled sinks up to test drains. No issues when we left.

Customer wanted the washer box and ice box replaced as both were leaking . Technician replaced washer box located downstairs, along with the ice box servicing the refrigerator in the kitchen. We also went ahead and replaced the main shut off valve in the garage along with a brand new PRV. PRV was set to 60psi. In addition, we went ahead and replaced the water heater in the garage as well. We brought water heater up to code and checked our work area to ensure proper functionality, and cleaned our work areas.

No cool upstairs. Upon arrival found system to be holding set point at 73 degrees. Upon inspection found system to have dirty ac causing high amp draw on compressor, no wet switch, microbial growth in system, high in rush amp draw and dirty filter. Cleaned ac and changed filter. Quoted repairs, converted customer to maintenance plan checked refrigerant levels and temp split after work completed. Temp split good at 20 degrees.

The form diagnostic on main level unit of home. This is a mixed system 2017 Goodman AC made it to a 1997 Lennox furnace. Furnace definitely shows us age but is in decent shape. Heat exchanger seems solid. There are some areas of concern but no noted failures today. Upon initial inspection system was doing nothing when turned to cool. Found power switch in the off position. Filter was very recently replaced. I’m guessing when this happened, the switch was actually turned off. reset switch and began testing. Upon inspection of outdoor equipment found the condenser cord to be very dirty. Pressure in system looks OK upon first going outside to check outdoor equipment. All three condenser units were running and I was not sure what unit was the main level. Turned the basement and the upstairs up a degree or two to get them to turn off. While I was looking at the upstairs thermostat found it was set to 70° and 77 upstairs. This causes me to look at outdoor equipment for this upstairs system.

Completed a service call to help diagnose a pioneer mini split that wasn’t draining properly. After extended run times, the system will produce water at the left corner of the indoor head unit that drips on the floor. The home was bought a few months ago and all 3 systems in the home are less than a year old. During my initial inspection I discovered the drain for the mini split evaporator was kinked and folded into itself restricting the system from proper drainage. After it was corrected I flushed a few water bottles down the drain and confirmed proper drainage outside. We also looked through the other 2 Goodman split systems. Those are also pretty brand new with no performance issues in cooling. Due to the heat today we did not cycle the furnaces but we did sign up for Homecare to get all 3 systems covered. We flushed drains and ensured each system was performing properly today. Collected Homecare and service call fees before closing out. System fully operational, call complete.

Remove pop up assembly and reapply new seal and repair drain pipe that was disconnected from the plumbing system.

Excavate at front of house. Evaluate existing sewage pump. Install new Liberty sewage ejector pump servicing basement bathroom, kitchen, and washing machine if necessary. Determine best course of action for permanent repairs.

Sycom surge protection

At arrival on 06/24/25 Issue: Master bedroom zone not working properly per homeowner System: main floor Finding: both zones in the main floor system are opening and closing properly. No issues found. However, the condenser coil is dirty, blower wheels are dusty, subcool is below manufacture specs, no wet safety Recommendations: address the above findings. If issue persists, may need to replace the Honeywell damper motor. Installed a wet safety switch on the main floor system, cleaned the main floor system condenser coil, added 2lbs of refrigerant 410a to the system. The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today.

Customer called us out for a clogged sink. While inspecting customer told me they put pasta down the disposal which might have clogged it. Customer had a flex hose ptrap and the electrical conduit was not attached correctly. I recommended a replacement garbage disposal with a pipe rebuild. Customer agreed. I removed the old garbage disposal and conduit. Customer wanted to keep the sink flange because it matched the faucet. I installed the new garbage disposal with the new conduit and rebuilt the ptrap to be a solid one. Cleaned up and tested the equipment. Everything worked well. Customers water heater expansion tank was not strapped down and she did. It want to get it fixed currently. The house water pressure was 90 psi and. Service tech has been scheduled.

Cut sheet rock in main level bathroom ceiling to access and diagnose what is leaking Replace valves for 3 handle shower valve body and replace overflow trim plate. Replace the 3 handle shower valve with a new kit.And tested for leaks. No leaks I then went to replace the overflow cover as it was cracked and the cast iron tub is rotted out at the overflow causing the leak down below in the main level hallway bathroom ceiling.

No cool 2014 carrier 3.5 ton ac Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. Wrong set up single stage equipment with zoning will provide estimates for repairs and replacing including removing zoning

Installed a customer supplied kitchen faucet. Replaced the faucet water stops underneath the kitchen sink. Also replace the house shutoff with a new quarter turn ball valve. Checked the homes pressure and it was good. After install checked and tested for leaks. Did thorough clean up. Thank you for choosing te certified.

Customer called us out for a main drain stoppage in a commercial building. I will attempt to remove stoppage by using the snake through inside clean out. I had to snake the drain from multiple access points. From one floor drain as well as from the cleanout in order to successfully restore drainage to the system. Everything is draining properly at this time, but this was a very difficult task. We have a camera technician scheduled to come out tomorrow between 8 AM and 10 AM. ***** This has been a reoccurring issue and will happen again unless a more permanent solution is taken.*****
