Today I Came Out To Address The Homeowners Want Of Wiring The New Bedroom That Was Added In The Basement. I Met With The Homeowner And She Showed Me The New Room. I Provided An Estimate To Wire The Room With A Dedicated 20A Circuit For The x8 Outlets And A Dedicated Lighting Circuit For The Can Lights And Fan. She Agreed. I Ran The Circuit For The Outlets And Installed Them. I Ran The Circuit For The Lighting And Ran The Can Switch Leg And Fan Switch Leg. Once Julian Arrived We Ran The Feeders Over To The Panel And He Wired The Can Lights And Fan. We Replaced The Fixture Box For A Fan Box. I Terminated Connections On The Breakers And We Tested All Outlets And Lights For Functionality. We Went Over The Install With The Homeowner And Answered Any Questions That Were Asked Of Us. We installed a whole home, surge protector and replaced two breakers in the main electrical panel

Customer wanted gas on back patio for portable generator and grill. Ran 1” line from front of house to back in attic. Used 1” black iron and mega press. Reduced to 3/4 and ran down wall. Strapped everything and installed 3/4 shut off. Bubble tested gas for leaks and cleaned.

For this call, homeowners were having issues with toilets running and loose at the base. We gave multiple estimates for minor rebuilds to replacements of toilets and homeowners agreed to swap out the old toilets for new ones. Went out to get the toilets, returned and removed old toilets. We found that the flanges were in working condition except both flanges were only glued in without being screwed into the sub floor. Added the new screws, and installed the two toilets. Tested them numerous times and found no leaks. We sealed the base with silicon and cleaned up before settling up with homeowners. At this time all is working as it should at this time. For this job, we came out to perform work previously quoted. On today’s visit we installed three new waste and overflow trims in three bathrooms around the house. The customer is going to decide on weather they want to keep the current grill and have us convert it to NG, or buy a new grill made for natural gas. The current grill will fit in the cutout, but the wheels will have to be left on.

For this job, I replaced the two faucets in the master bathroom. I replaced the two stops on the left side sink in the master bathroom. I replaced the shower cartridge in the master shower. Install a new camera floodlight and a closet light.

Home care inspection on two systems. Customer replaced both furnaces with home warranty. Inspected both systems in heating and cooling mode. Main level system is little low on Freon (410a), outside condenser very dirty, inside return plenum covered by dust and dirty (it affects the air quality in the house) and no in line switch to the drain line (it will help to prevent water in the drain on, in case of drain line get clogged). Upstairs system has a dirty condenser coils, dirty return plenum and no in line switch, to the drain line, as well. Both filter were very dirty and it should be replaced every 3 months. Both systems are working in heating and cooling mode at this visit. Recommend to do a chemical wash on both outside condensers, install an in line switch for the drain lines and a blue tube uv light, to give better air quality to the house, and to protect the equipment from buildup biology growth inside. debbie_serafin@att.net Homeowners 17 year old water heater had failed and was leaking. Shut water off and removed failed water heater. Cleaned copper and added support for main line. Installed new 50 gallon 12 year warranty water heater. Installed anode rod on the hot side. Installed new copper piping and thermal expansion tank. Replaced ball valve and gas valve. Installed pan and ran line outside. Turned water on and tested. Set temperature to 120 degrees. Tested and everything is working properly at this time.

No heat due to a bird inside the draft inducer motor. I was able to remove the bird, and have the heat working. Thermostat is very old, there is no drain pan under the furnace and neither my type of flood protection devices installed. Also, biological growth inside the evaporator coil drain pan and ductboard transition. Flue pipe is single wall and taped in some parts. Inspected the cooling also. Ac is 20 years old and works with r22( Freon) that has been phased out since January 2020. The outside condenser coil fins are bent (someone washed the coil with high pressure water hose possible), and it’s not giving any airflow to the outside condenser and it’s increasing the compressor amperage and the pressures. Lao, system is little low on Freon (r22). Sent estimates for potential repairs for the furnace but, due to the age and conditions of the ac system, the best option would be to upgrade the system, and bring savings, comfort and efficiency back to the house. Customer had a 30 year old water heater that was leaking. After going over options. Customer approved work today to we install 50 gallon gas water heater. Once ever was install. I tested for leak. Everything was working for correctly and is up to code. Thanks for choosing TE Certified.

Today I came out for an odor complaint following a furnace installation a few weeks ago. The customer reported a wet-sock smell when the system runs. I inspected our installation and found no air leakage around the furnace. Using my inspection camera, I observed significant suspected biological growth inside the supply plenum, which may be contributing to the odor circulating through the home. I recommended an APCO-X air purification system to help reduce odors and control biological growth. Its UV-C light helps inactivate microorganisms on surfaces directly exposed to the light, while its carbon treatment technology helps reduce odor-causing compounds in the air. Proper placement is important to ensure the light reaches the affected surfaces. I explained that the APCO-X does not physically remove existing buildup or treat areas the light cannot reach. The affected plenum may need cleaning or replacement, and any moisture contributing to the growth should be addressed to help prevent

Today we were called out because the homeowner was at his son’s baseball game and when he came home he noticed the led strip lights were out and the breaker for the basement ac unit was tripped. The power supply for the led lights was still on but no power to the strip lights. After preforming troubleshooting I found the outdoor ac unit was short circuiting causing the breaker to trip. The undercabinet LED strips was showing 3V. Homeowner is buying a transformer for the undercabinet lights. Today we replaced all outdoor outlets with a spot GFI. Thank you for choosing TE certified!

Troubleshoot parts of basement not working.

Customer had an angle stop that won’t turn off after going over her option and with customer approval I just replace one angle stop going to dishwasher once installed I check for leaks issues is resolved thanks for choosing TE Certified.

Fix it

Thermostat failed for upstairs system. Replaced with approval and verified proper operations thereafter. System now back to cooling. Heat exchanger previously diagnosed as compromised. This diagnosis still stands.Thank you for choosing TE certified!
