24 year old AC / Coil & 13 Year old gas furnace - Not Cooling. System not cooling due to age and refrigerant leak. The system is out of R-22 refrigerant, this refrigerant is no longer available due to government restrictions. January 1st 2020 the EPA put a mandatory phase out of the refrigerant. The system has a leak at the condenser coil and the evaporation coil is rusted out. No in-line drain safety or wet switch. The furnace has a dirty blower wheel, the blower motor is seeping oil at the main seal, and both the igniter and flame rectifier are chalky and weak. Due to the age, condition, and refrigerant type, I recommended updating this full system. The homeowner requested we send out an install supervisor to move forward with updating the equipment, I scheduled this for today. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified, have a great day!

Found hose bib to be dripping from handle. Quoted to open wall and replace hose bib. Homeowner does not want to open drywall to replace.

Main & Upper level Not Cooling - Zoned System System is not coming due to a failed ECM Blower motor and module. The motor has failed and the system is completely frozen from the coil all the way to the compressor. Compressor has taken some damage due to liquid refrigerant feeding back into the compressor, this is known as “slugging the compressor”. This is bad for the compressor and shortens the life of the compressor or premature failure. I recommended addressing the issue or considering updating the equipment. The homeowner decided to go with option A replacing the motor. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified, have a great day! Cabinet

Came back on 06/23/25 and properly replaced the whole home system blower motor and furnace control board. Tested system for normal operation. System is cooling properly at this time. No wet safety switch.

Troubleshoot water heater wiring.

Arrival on June 21, 2025 found whole home system not cooling. Customer mentioned that lightening hit their house and power went out and damage some appliances in the house. After a diagnostics found out the control board was bad and potentially the blower motor as well. I couldn’t check the transformer neither the system pressure. We need to address the furnace control board and blower motor first before checking the transformer and checking the refrigerant charge.

Reroute drain servicing 1st floor 1/2 bath. Drain work location was above the bathroom in the basement. Drains properly sloped with now and draining as should. Throughly tested and checked for leaks.

8 year old Lennox System not cooling. System not cooling due to a bad condensation pump. Pump was full and not pumping water out. This caused the pumps overflow protection to shut off the furnace. With homeowners permission I replaced the pump and the dirty 20-25-1 air filter. I tested the system after repairs were made and the system is cooling to its best ability. Recommended having condenser coil cleaned and getting on our maintenance program. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified, have a great day!

RG6 Run
Excellent service

Main level not blowing cold air due to a bad dual capacitor. Replaced capacitor and system works. System is low on Freon, about 2 lbs. Did a complete leak search in the evaporator coil and found a leak in the right bottom corner. Gave options to replace evaporator coil, but customer wanted to add Freon at this time. Added 2 lbs of Freon (410a), to bring pressures back to normal, but eventually Freon will leak out and system won’t be cooling the min level anyway. System is 12 years old and has a leak and not efficient anymore. It can affect the humidity level in the house, specially on hotter days. Due to the age and conditions of the system, Highly recommend to upgrade system, and bring warranty, comfort and efficiency back to the house. Sent estimates for an evaporator coil replacement (not recommend).

Replace Old Dimmers and install gfci outlets

Homeowners dishwasher is receiving low water pressure. I flushed out the dishwasher line into a bucket for any debris and the pressure was good. I recommended the homeowner that he contact an appliance guy to come out and check out the dishwasher to see if there’s something wrong with why there’s no water coming into it.

Customer called us out for a clogged toilet. On arrival I tested the toilet by running the sink and that caused the toilet to bubble. I recommended to pull toilet and run a cable machine, then have a sewer supervisor come out. Customer agreed I pulled the toilet and cleared blockage. Customer also had a problem with the height of the toilet so I recommended to replace it with a Kholer Kingston. Customer agreed and I installed the new one. The lid was chipped so I took it to the warehouse and got a new one.

Performed camera inspection through 1/2 bath closet bend. Drain immediately holding water. Moved camera through drain and hit soft tissue blockage. Cleared blockage. Drain holding water due to inadequately sloped drain. Recommend reroute if drain to prevent future blockages.

Replace landscape light bulbs.

At arrival on June 17, 2025 found upstairs system not cooling. After diagnostic found out the capacitor was bad. The system does not have a ss1 safety switch need a wet safety switch. Gave option to replace the capacitor, aac a wet safety switch, add an SS1 safety switch Clean blower wheels. The main floor system is freezing up. There is ice on the outside unit the evaporate recall and the line set. I was able to visually check the main floor system. Gave option to customer to do a nitrogen leak search, but they declined it. Customer declined all options and just want only their capacitor replaced. Replaced the upstairs system outdoor capacitor.

*PLEASE CORRECT ADDRESS TO REFLECT 623 Kaylins ct, Marietta, GA* Arrived on site to troubleshoot a 2015 Rheem AC that wasn’t coming on. This started last night. The indoor fan would run but wouldn’t produce any cold air. I completed an inspection and discovered the defrost board was stuck in a high pressure cutout. I checked and standing pressure was 249 on both sides. I tested outdoor fan, checked condenser coils and measured operating pressures to try to discern what causes the high pressure cutout. The dual capacitor tested within spec and there were no other mechanical failures/issues discovered during our inspection. They mentioned a large power surge yesterday that may be a contributing factor but once we had cooling back on we discussed some of the equipments other concerns like washing the outdoor coils, joining Homecare and even quoted a replacement defrost board. For now the system is cooling well and is fully operational upon departure. Call complete.

Diagnostic Performed diagnostic on 2010 Goodman furnace and AC system. System is showing its age. It is also showing a lack of maintenance. Upon initial inspection outdoor unit is trying to come on but compressor is not coming on. Customer approved diagnostic and found burnt wire on capacitor. And capacitor to be a failure on the compressor side. This is a newer capacitor that looks have been changed in the last year or two, but it has failed. Will quote price for a Band-Aid type repair today to replace a capacitor and a contactor. Contactor is buzzing very loudly and it’s very much an impending failure. Condenser coil is dirty as well. Upon inspection of furnace, found it to be in relatively poor condition as well. Lot of neglect and lack of maintenance. Blower assembly is very dirty. Blower capacitor is out of spec and needs to be replaced. Evaporator coil is dirty. There is no flood prevention on the system at all. There is also no clean out for the drain. We’ll be able to make the

Back room not getting good airflow. The room is located in the back of the house and it’s the last run from the supply plenum. One option would be to install manual dampers and try to send more air to the back room (but it would lose air to the rest of the house) , and other options would be to install a dedicated thermostat to the back room, and zoning the system, then it will be controlling the system separately. Inspected entire system. Heat exchanger is in bad shape and compromised with some discoloration and rusted spots, blower wheel extremely dirty (it make the blower motor work harder and sending dust into the house. Evaporator coil is very rusted, dual capacitor weak (reading 65 on a 79 microfarad), compressor and fan motor with high amperage. Furnace is 22 years old, evaporator coil 14 years old and condenser 7 years old. Sent estimates for potential repairs, but , due to the be and conditions, Highly recommend to upgrade system, install a zoning and a dedicated thermostat f

Install new dual function breakers.

Replace the front and back porch lights. Add whole home surge protection in the electrical panel and the cable coming in from out side the house.
I contacted TE Certified for electrical work at our previous home and was very pleased with their services. So, when we moved to a new home, I contacted them to address plumbing issues cited in the home inspection report and, again, was very pleased. My third experience was for electrical updates I wanted and the team made sure everything was working properly and brought up to code. Lee Brown was very knowledgeable and professional throughout the process. He listened to what I wanted done, explained how he would get it done and made great suggestions for alternative solutions. Everything is working just as I expected it to and I am a very happy customer.
