Replace Meter

No cooling call, upon arrival system was not cooling, checked dual capacitor and found that capacitor was reading 0 on the compressor side, replaced capacitor and found that head pressure was very high which is likely the cause of capacitor going bad, cleaned condenser coil, after cleaning condenser coil Freon levels look good, delta T temperature drop looks good, sealed up 2 ducts that were coming apart, changed 1-aprilaire 413 filter filter was very dirty, dehumidifier filter is also very dirty recommended changing dehumidifier filter, also recommended adding low voltage wire to condensation pump as well as bluetube UV light, preformed homecare visit today, all units and electrical components are working properly at this time.

Customer appeared to have a leak in the ceiling showing up in the living room, checked the upstairs bathroom and found the toilet leaking from the fill valve nut, upon approval, made a minimal repair on the toilet replacing the fill valve. Restored water to the toilet and checked for leaks. Recommend replacing push/pull stop and supply line.

Arrived to install new motor on unit #9, removed failed blower motor, installed and secured new blower motor and wires, recommend cleaning blower wheel, replaced 20x20x1 filter, there was no filter door so I put foil tape to cover hole, updated drain line so it’s not blocking filter, also added proper clean out and vent with ptrap, flushed drain line and verified condensation pump is working properly, evap coil impacted, recommend chemical cleaning, recommend uv light to help with biological growth inside system, also recommend wet switch and ss2 switch to prevent water overflow, cycled tstat to ac mode, unit started up, inspected outdoor unit, checked capacitor, contactor, checked pressures and temp split, sent recommendations to email, unit working properly at time

Today I removed the ceiling fan in the baby room and replaced with a customer supplied chandelier, customer did not have light bulbs but verified operational with volt meter

Replaced the 40 gallon gas water heater with a new 50 gallon gas water heater, replaced the expansion tank and added a new ball valve to isolate the water heater, replaced gas valve and gas line connecting to the water heater. Also replaced PRV and ball valve in the kitchen

Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. Tech diagnosed full system and noticed clogged pvc drain line in attic, and gas smells coming from gas joints… tech went over with Landlord about our system repair options vs system replacement options. Tech left recommendations/ estimates that can help with equipment longevity, equipment protection and homeowners health and safety. Called out for a toilet downstairs, not flushing properly. The toilet tank is not filling with water. After diagnosing the seal that holds the water in the tank had slipped off and the float switch on the fill valve was stuck. Readjusted the seal on the toilet tank as well as the float switch and both are working properly now. Also observed that the water heater is manufactured in 2005 and made customer aware that is not up to code. Sewer supervisor has been scheduled on Monday for 11 to 2 to assess the water heater and offer a replacement on the water heater and the older toilets in the home. For this job I worked on doing a lightning inspection on a home that they stated that outlets and lights stopped working after a storm. Noticed a bunch of burnt out outlets cannot say that they were from lightning strikes or if just from poor wiring.

Arrived on site, tenant showed me to water heater closet where water line is leaking at hot water line near wall. Check water pressure and water pressure is currently 45 psi which is on the lower end of pressure. Water heater is currently 14 years old. Recommend replacing water heater due to after repair faucets receiving brown water. Not responsible for water heater. Replaced section of pipe with copper and installed new ball valve. No leaks at this time.
