Installed new 40 gallon gas water heater in upstairs laundry room and brought up to code. Ready for inspection. Will have to register warranty tomorrow.

No Cool Diagnostic Summary Came out to a no cool call. After performing a complete diagnostic evaluation, I found water present in the secondary drain pan. The system currently does not have a safety device installed to shut the unit down in the event of a condensate backup. Without flood protection, water overflow can lead to ceiling, drywall, and property damage. We recommend installing TE Certified Flood Protection to automatically shut the system down if a drainage issue occurs. I removed all standing water from the secondary drain pan, thoroughly flushed the condensate drain line, and verified that water was draining properly and exiting the home. Once the drainage issue was corrected, power was restored to the system and normal operation was confirmed. I also inspected the outdoor unit, which is a 2001 heat pump. The condenser coils are extremely dirty and heavily restricting heat transfer. I tested the capacitor and found it to be significantly below manufacturer specificatio

Performed diagnostic on 5yr old Rheem unit for main floor, upon arrival customer stated unit hasn’t worked in about two weeks, tstst saying no power, checked tstst, no 24v only getting 9v, went to basement to inspect unit, furnace is getting power but not sending to tstat, checked all low voltage wiring, found float switch not wired all the way in, wired up float and tstst started up, recommend replacing float switch with wet switch to prevent water damage, checked blower, filter was impacted, recommend replacing, inspected outdoor unit, checked capacitor contactor, pressures and temp split, unit is working properly, spoke with customer about age of basement unit, and explained r22 is obsolete, recommend looking to update due to age, also recommended homecare and better indoor air quality such as apcox, went over all options, customer chose option a with home care, replaced filter for main floor and basement, no other issues at time, customer still has all visits available

Excavate meter and install new meter nipple, and dual check valve. In front of existing meter install new courtesy valve shut off as poor Georgia IPC plumbing code. Excavate at front foundation wall on front right side of home adjacent hose bib for new water main service penetration. Inside crawlspace drill new penetration at foundation wall. Trench from existing meter to foundation wall in front of home. Install new water service from existing meter through foundation wall and inside crawlspace. Afternoon service penetration at front right side of home inside crawlspace, reroute, main service and tie into existing plumbing system leaving front hose bib on regulated. Install new watch 25AUBPRV new three-quarter full poor ball valve shut off, and new half-inch ball valve for hose bib on front of home. Once done test new system for leaks seal foundation wall with hydraulic cement, insulate, all newly installed pipe in crawlspace. Fill in all excavation holes/trench/cleanup. Inside utilit

Called out for backed up toilet, tested thoroughly with water, no signs of a main line or branch blockage, appears to be something stuck in the toilet itself, ran sewer cable throughout the toilet to break up and clear blockage, tested thoroughly with several flushes, toilet is now clear and flowing, Thank you for choosing TE Certified!!

For this job we conducted leak detection services for homeowner. Discovered leak in yard underneath tree just off foundation wall. Area has not been marked with flags. We will be replacing the line tomorrow along with the water heater.

As we arrived today Erik explain to us that he installed a new sump pump at the pond to push water up into the pond from a lower creek area. He also explained that the pump has been at this house for a good while, but it’s never been used. The pump was already in the water when we arrived. Install a new customer supplied timer up at the electrical panel close to the pond which will control power to the sump pump. We also installed a 30 amp GFCI breaker in the electrical panel which supplies power to the pump. We removed an existing tap box down close to where the pump was because water had gotten inside of it. We installed a new weatherproofjunction box there and one just above it where the salt pump wire goes inside. The first time we turned power on to the pump, the breaker tripped immediately. The second time it ran for about 60 seconds then the breaker tripped again. After that, the breaker tripped immediately every time. Once we removed the pump off of the wires and re-engaged

Troubleshooting and outlet replacement

Performed diagnostic on upstairs unit with a 13yr old r22 heat pump on a 7yr old r410a air handler, explained to customer units are mismatched in refrigerant design, and can cause issue at some point, recommend install supervisor, customer declined at time, customer replaced his tstst and stated unit not working, cycled to ac mode , unit came on in heat mode, set up configuration properly, now system is cooling, checked filter, system had two filters , removed old filter, inspected outdoor unit, found reversing valve wire zip tied to reversing valve, explained to customer plug could failing causing valve not to shift when needed, customer replaced capacitor, checked pressures and temp split, unit has no superheat, recommend flood protection to prevent water damage, customer declined at time, unit is cooling properly at time
