We had a complete replacement of our electrical panel in the home we just purchased. Brandon and Nylan were here for an entire day, in and out on a regular basis. They were both very careful about not letting my cats out which to some may seem minor but was a top priority for me. Both gentlemen were very hard working, had the patience of a saint with all my questions, and were just overall a pleasure to have in our home. We will be using TE Certified again in the near future for additional electrical work in our new home and I highly recommended them with no hesitation whatsoever.
Performed diagnostic on 21 yr old weather king unit, upon arrival customer stated outside fan wasn’t working, checked tstst, cycled to ac mode, went to attic to inspect furnace, found no flood protection on unit, recommend wet switch to prevent ceiling damage from water, checked filter, evap coil is in bad shape, furnace has a flex gas line going thru cabinet which is against code, also no sediment trap, recommended updating gas line and bringing system up to code with sediment trap, furnace cabinet has rust as well, blower wheel heavily impacted, recommend pulling and cleaning blower wheel, blower capacitor bad, recommend replacing blower capacitor, blower motor pulling higher than normal amps, explained motor can fail at any time, recommend replacing blower motor as well, inspected outdoor unit, system was running with fan as well, noticed condenser coil heavily impacted, recommend chemical cleaning to check pressures accurately, checked capacitor, reading bad on compressor side, rec
Day as we arrive July 28, we come back to fill the estimate of replacing the garage electrical panel along with installing two new smoke detectors and replacing one system. We removed the existing 150 amp electric panel and replaced it with a new one. Installed an electrical panel search detector directly below the electric panel in the wall. Installed two new smoke detectors in each of the bedrooms, along with replacing the existing smoke detector in the hallway. We also labeled all of the breakers inside of the electrical panel. We replaced the dryer cord with a new one so that it would fit the existing plug-in on the wall in the laundry room. It was very nice to finally meet both of you in person! If I can ever help you with anything else in your house, please feel free to give me a call anytime. Thank you, Brandon and Nylan
Upon arrival, met with the homeowner. She showed us to the kitchen sink with complaints of a foul odor when the water is being run. No odor was apparent at the time of inspection. No P-traps visible under the sink and accordion pipe connected to basket strainer. We provided a bottle of endure to assist in the maintenance of sink drains. The plumbing in the basement is not visible. They are planning to remodel the kitchen which would be the appropriate time to open the subfloor and re-pipe the drains. Otherwise, the only access would be to cut the drywall in the basement ceiling. At this time, everything is open and flowing. We advised they reach out with any additional questions or concerns. Includes one bottle of Endure professional grade drain treatment to help breakdown organic buildup and maintain free flowing drains. Designed for residential and light commercial use as a preventative maintenance solution. This is not a mechanical clearing service. Does not include price for cle
Replacing panel 30space with 42 spaces
Arrived on site and was shown by the homeowner to the kitchen, where the existing gas line was located in the wall and conflicted with the required placement of the exhaust system. Due to the exhaust needing to be installed on the same wall, the existing gas line needed to be relocated to provide the necessary clearance and access for the exhaust installation. Removed the existing section of exhaust piping to gain access to the gas line. Rerouted the gas line approximately 2 feet to a new location and installed a new gas shut-off valve. The gas line was repositioned to accommodate the required exhaust installation. Additionally, provided the homeowner with options for flushing and descaling the existing tankless water heater to help remove potential mineral and sediment buildup. Also discussed the option of installing a crossover tee to improve the operation of the hot water system and assist with hot water circulation depending on the home's plumbing configuration.
Upon arrival, I performed a complete diagnostic inspection of the system. I confirmed an active refrigerant leak at the evaporator coil, which is causing the system to be low on refrigerant and reducing its cooling capacity while placing additional stress on the compressor. The evaporator coil will need to be replaced to permanently correct the leak. I also found the outdoor condenser coil and indoor blower/furnace assembly are dirty, reducing airflow and efficiency. The compressor is currently operating but would benefit from a hard start kit to reduce startup stress and help extend its life. The air filter is clean, and the system is approximately 16 years old. Recommendations * Replace the leaking evaporator coil. * Recover refrigerant, replace the filter drier, pull a deep vacuum, recharge to factory specifications, and verify system operation. * Install a compressor hard start kit. * Perform a professional indoor blower/furnace cleaning. * Perform a professional outdoor condense
Replaced 50 gallon gas water heater with all code requirements.
Today, as we arrived, customer explained to us that he needed a power strip, installed in a cabinet in the sound room. The power strip has four individual circuits. There were multiple receptacles directly beside the cabinet that had individual circuits. We installed a junction box in the cabinet and from there we ran individual wires to plug into the individual outlets that would power each individual circuit on the power strip bar. After all connections were made each individual outlet on the power strip bar worked properly. Thank you,
Very nice and knowledgeable
Upon arrival, a complete diagnostic was performed on the Bryant 2.5-ton R-410A system. We found the outdoor unit completely out of refrigerant, indicating a substantial refrigerant leak within the sealed system. Further testing revealed the condenser capacitor is testing below its rated value at 41/4.8 MFD on a 45/5 MFD capacitor and should be replaced. The contactor tested at 19 ohms and is currently operational. We also found the compressor exhibiting high startup (inrush) amperage and high running amperage, indicating excessive strain on the system. Additional inspection revealed the condensate drain line is closed/restricted and in need of service. The system currently has no TE Certified Flood Protection, leaving the home vulnerable to water damage should the drain become clogged. The system also has no indoor air quality equipment installed. The blower wheel/motor is heavily soiled and operating loudly, which restricts airflow, reduces efficiency, and places additional strain on
Called out for garbage disposal not working gave estimate to do a replacement. Customer agreed we removed the old garbage disposal that was not working and installed. New garbage disposal tested working properly with no leaks at this time.
12 year parts warranty
Today we installed a new Halo Ultimate 100 for whole home purification, replaced the PRV and set it to a healthy pressure. Redid the water heater lines and replaced the accordion pipe in the master bathroom sinks.
As we arrived today, Mr. and Mrs. Vassey explain to us that their Casablanca fan in their master bedroom was acting up so they had the controls in the fan and the controller on the wall replaced. Since then the fan speed will just randomly get slower on its own. We checked power both at the fan and the controller and it’s working properly. All connections are solid and everything looks good in both the fan and the electric box with the switches. My best professional opinion is either the fan itself is starting to go out or the controllers are defective. Since it all started when the controllers were replaced, I’m leaning more toward those being defective. It was very nice to meet both of you today! If we can ever help you with anything else, please feel free to give me a call anytime. Thank you, Brandon and Nylan
Called out for water in master shower, starting off hot and then getting cold during the shower gave estimate for diagnostic customer agreed. Found that the timer on the tankless was set to specific points of the day. We changed the timer to only be off at 3 AM. Tested all water in the house appears to be working properly at this time.
Upon arrival customer stated that thermostat kept jumping temperatures, explained to customer to press hold to hold at specific temperature, checked Freon levels and found that system was a little low on refrigerant would need about 1 lb of R410A, unit also does not have any flood protection devices installed, recommended flood protection as well as 1 lb of R410A, customer stated he would get back with us on repairs.
Home Care – Two System Inspection Completed a full HVAC heating and cooling inspection on both 2023 R-410A systems in accordance with our seasonal maintenance checklist. Both systems are currently operating; however, repairs and improvements are recommended to help maintain efficiency, reliability, comfort, and long-term system performance. The upstairs system was inspected and tested. Refrigerant readings were operating within range at this time; however, the condenser coils are dirty and restricting airflow. The capacitor tested within tolerance at 39/5 MFD and the contactor tested good at 15 ohms. Compressor startup amperage was elevated at approximately 271 amps, which can place excessive strain on the compressor during startup. The downstairs 2023 Heil system was also inspected and tested. The condenser coils are dirty and restricting airflow. The capacitor tested within tolerance at 34.4/5 MFD and the contactor tested good at 16.1 ohms. Compressor startup amperage was elevated
Staff gave the homeowner an estimate to trace their main line to the home so that we can figure out where their main shut off is inside. They’ve elected to call City Hall and get blueprints for their home, which was built in 1977 and tried to discover the location inside the walls somewhere Before deciding on the estimate. Home has been remodeled multiple times and they have no idea where the shut off is, and because the home is on a slab, the leak could be underneath the home or on the main service. without being able to isolate it. I’m unable to move further with the leak detection at this time
As we arrived today, we installed a customer supplied Tesla car charger. We swapped out the 50 amp breaker that was supplying power to it with a 40 amp breaker because the wire gauge was only #8. The other Tesla charger that was previously installed by the builder has been having problems since it’s been installed. After being on for 20 to 30 minutes multiple breaker in both panels start to trip. This also happened when they installed it on the other car charger circuit.
As we arrived back today, we installed a 50 amp GFI breaker in the electrical panel which controls power to the car charger outlet in the garage. We also removed the defective car charger outlet and installed a new one. Once power was restored everything worked properly. Upstairs in the master bathroom, I installed a new quad receptacle outlet. This power is fed from the closet receptacle. What’s the receptacle was installed everything worked properly. I’ve also attached an estimate for the new subpanel in the garage which will free up space so we can install the correct breakers for the incorrect ones that are in the main electrical panel right now. If you have any questions about the estimate or need anything else, please feel free to give me a call anytime. Thank you, Brandon and Nylan
Today’s we arrived it was explained that they needed an electrical panel inspection. The current panel is a Challenger. These panels over the years have had many issues and have actually been discontinued from manufacturing because of the problems. As of today, I do not see anything inside of the electrical panel that would raise any red flags to say that it immediately needs to be replaced. As it was asked to me if this was my parents moving into this house what would I do and I quickly said the panel will be removed immediately. For safety and a piece of mind that would be my definite answer. As my electrical manager explained to me that over his years he’s seen more of these panels burned up than any other. I attached an estimate for the panel to be replaced. We will have to pull a permit through the county to get the panel replaced. Panel replacement and inspection from the county can all be done in one day. If you have any questions about the estimate or need anything else, ple
Today we rebuilt the master shower Moen valve, valve was already disassembled and handle broken upon arrival. Replaced cartridge and leak has stopped.
Return to purge house filtration system after 48 hour soak period. All is turned on and working properly
Came out because the customer was concerned about the system not cooling After fully diagnosing the 2023 conventional system I found that the thermostat had failed and that on of the wires was to the control board was broken. I replaced the thermostat and repaired the broken wire. I then ran the system in cool for 30 minutes and the system is now working according to specifications.
Troubleshoot garage door tripping.

Marc could not have been a nicer and more competent guy. He extended his hand in friendship and that is very important to me. He gave me good advice and I felt as though his price quote was fair. He needed to go to Home Depot to complete the job and the tool he purchased ended up being of no help. He was cheerful in spite of this disappointment. Because of him, I would consider using TE again for any plumbing issues. I am sincere in all that I say and I grateful for the entire situation. My any thanks
Excellent service!
