For this job, I performed a troubleshoot for a bedroom that had several outlets without power. After inspecting the panel, checking every breaker for proper voltage, taking out the outlets and switches on that circuit inspecting the wiring, I came to an outlet that had been burned by a space heater. The wiring connected to the outlet device had become corroded causing it to prevent current from flowing to the other outlets in that bedroom. The solution provided involved me cutting off that charred conductors, re-splicing, and replacing the outlet. Power has been restored to the bedroom and the customer has been notified to not use that space heater which consumes 12.5amps on a 15amp circuit. It also has been brought up to the customer that the panel is a long way past its recommended age and should be replaced if planning to keep the home In the family.

Arrived on site and met with the homeowner, who directed me to the basement area near the driveway. The homeowner requested installation of a new exterior hose bib connection to supply an RV. The homeowner also explained that the existing hose bibb at the rear of the home was difficult to operate and requested that it be replaced. Located an existing water supply line in the basement ceiling and used it as the connection point for the new RV hose bibb. Ran approximately 1/2-inch water line from the existing supply to the exterior wall near the driveway. Installed a new ball valve and exterior hose bibb to provide a dedicated connection for the RV. After completing the installation, the new piping and connections were inspected and no leaks were present at the time of service. Also removed and replaced the existing rear hose bibb and associated ball valve due to the homeowner’s concern that the existing valve was difficult to turn. Add a 30 amp 120 V outlet on the side of the house for an RV.

Came out today to complete one system HVAC no cool. Upon arrival found gas furnace from 2008 paired with a Goodman R 22 refrigeration system from 2008. Upon arrival, customer approved full system diagnostic. Upon doing diagnostic found the blower motor has failed, The blower capacitor has failed, the control board has recently been replaced with a aftermarket universal control board, the blower wheel was heavily impacted, this creates more stress on the motor once it is running due to not being maintenance, upon inspection of the outdoor system, found the outdoor coil is heavily impacted on the backside, R 22 refrigeration, which is no longer manufactured and it’s obsolete, due to no airflow on the gas furnace cannot check refrigeration charge for system or run functions of the outdoor system. Due to age of equipment and current condition of equipment. Customer would like a quote to update the system.

Today as we arrived we were shown a light in the second duplex that was not working. After doing a troubleshoot on that, we found that the switch controlling power to the light was not working. We replaced the single pole switch, and once that was done, the light worked properly again. The invoice today covers the troubleshoot cost for duplex 1712 We were also showing multiple other items in 1710 the main duplex that needed to be worked on along with an inspection that was performed when the house was bought of multiple items that. Upon arrival customer stated that they had water coming out of their outlet in their living room. Upon inspection, I found that there was no plumbing in the area. But is right next to a chimney that is no longer in use. The chimney does extend through the roof and I recommended property Max to come resolve her issues, I believe that there is a leak coming in from the chimney due to the fact that there’s moisture on the brick on the side of the chimney as well as all the wood around it.

No cooling call upstairs, upon arrival customer stated that system was short cycling, system would shut on for about 2 minutes then shut off, checked capacitor and found that capacitor was reading 0 on both sides compressor and fan side, replaced 35/5 capacitor, checked amp draw of all components, refrigerant levels look good, delta T temperature drop looks good, there is some biological growth inside of the air handler, recommended adding UV light to help prevent the spread of biological growth, system is cooling properly at this time. Also cleaned condenser coil

Arrived on site, homeowner took me to their kitchen sink and wanted reverse osmosis filter installed. Drilled through granite countertop for reverse osmosis faucet. Installed the RO filter as well as ran a brand new air switch to their existing garbage disposal. Everything works as it should; tested and inspected. No leaks at this time. No warranty on reverse osmosis.

Called out for a back up. Upend outbound cleanout from outside. Ran sewer machine to clear blockage. Blockage unknown Sewer supervisor scheduled for 8-10 Wednesday. Tested thoroughly line is open and flowing. Thanks for choosing TE Certified.
