Homeowner has a leak under the slab somewhere in his kitchen between the island and underneath the sink sink. I was not able to carry out leak detection because the floors are down and I cannot hear through LVP because of the mat underneath., Also I would not be able to get close enough to the leak if it were in fact underneath the Cabinetry that holds the sink basin. Homeowner is calling his insurance company. They are going to remove the floors, encounters in the kitchen so that we can do a proper leak detection. As soon as that is removed, he will call us back out for the full leak detection. Isolated the main service from the home and there was no leak on the main service. After that, I open the main shut off and the meter is reading 0.01 GPM is approximately . 6 gallons per hour. The area behind the kitchen in his daughter’s bedroom is wet, this includes the corner adjacent, the kitchen against the common wall that they share and a little bit above in the sheet rock. I was unable
Came out today to complete two system HVAC full system inspection. This is a two story house with a finished basement. The house layout has a system for the bedrooms and a separate system for the living room, kitchen and dining room. There is only one 8 inch supply vent ran off of the main floor system that feeds the upstairs area, which is currently not enough airflow to maintain temperature. Upon inspection of the bedrooms system found carrier, infinity, air handler, and heat pump that is a 2 1/2 ton from 2015.Upon evaluation of the system found condenser coil clean, the capacitor has been replaced and is reading good, the compressor is over amping on startup pulling 77 A, which is rated for 72, the system is double filtered, there is rust on the evaporator coil, there is biological growth inside of the system, the current UV protection on the system is not working, the refrigerant levels are good, water drains into a condensate pump which pumps into the plumbing of the home by a s
Called out for a clogged toilet. Tested with a flush and the toilet did back up. Also tested running water in the sinks to rule out a mainline blockage or a branch blockage. It appears that there is something stuck in the toilet. Ran sewer cable throughout toilet to clear blockage of paper/waste. Tested the toilet thoroughly with multiple flushes with and without paper. Toilet is flushing and flowing properly now. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
Called out for backing up toilet and overflowing. Toilet would back up when flushed and customer reports hearing bubbling and gurgling. Customer also reported that when the shower upstairs was draining the toilet would overflow. After checking the exterior clean out in the front yard it is holding water. Ran sewer machine through exterior clean out and water was able to drop out but not fully clear. Pulled back little rocks in the cable, indicating that there may be some sort of separation or break in the line. Installed a sewer popper clean out cap. Sewer supervisor is scheduled to come out today from 2 to 5 to assess the issue further. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!

Water leaking call upon arrival water was leaking from air handler, drain was not connected at all condensate pump pan was also missing, condensate pump was sitting in emergency drain pan, replaced condensate pump, recommended flood protection, also cleaned condenser coil, Freon levels look good, cleared drain pan, also rewired air handler disconnect due to burnt wires in disconnect, wires in disconnect were loose which likely caused terminals to burn up, all units and electrical components are working properly at this time
Upon arrival, met with customer and was shown to their issue. The back toilet in the main hallway bathroom is clogged and not flushing. Water was shut off to the toilet when I arrived. I gave the customer options to clear it and after getting signature approval began work. Ran closet auger down toilet. Made multiple passes and cleared what felt like a large toilet paper blockage. Did not pull anything back on cable the blockage pushed through. Flushed toilet multiple times with and without toilet paper and it is functioning well. Cleaned work area. Customer is satisfied.
Came out for a no-cool service call and performed a full diagnostic evaluation of the HVAC system. Findings * The dual capacitor was found completely failed and is no longer operating within specifications. * The indoor equipment and outdoor condenser coil are heavily dirty, creating airflow and heat-transfer restrictions that are causing the system to work harder than designed. * The system currently has no whole-home indoor air quality protection installed. * The system does not have a TE Certified wet switch/flood protection device installed to help protect the home from condensate overflow or drain-related water damage. * During testing, the compressor initially failed to start. After approximately 20 minutes, the compressor eventually started operating; however, it is showing signs of significant mechanical/electrical stress. * The compressor is experiencing excessive startup amperage and elevated running amperage, indicating that the compressor is struggling and is approaching
No cooling call upstairs, upon arrival system was working, checked filter and found that filter was dirty, replaced customer supplied16x25x1 filter, checked capacitors and found that run capacitor is reading out of tolerance, capacitor is bad recommended replacing capacitor, blower wheel is a little dirty, refrigerant levels look okay however there is R454B evaporator coil installed with a R410A condenser, system is cooling at this time however system will never run at 100% efficiency due to coil not matching outdoor unit, system also does not have TE standard flood protection installed, recommended wet switch and inline float switch to help prevent water damage that can occur due to a clogged drain line, there is also no ventilation for the furnace in a spray foam attic, recommended adding centric vent so that furnace will operate properly, spray foam attics are sealed and do not have fresh air coming into attic which is why all 90% furnaces that are in spray foam attics require a fre
No cooling call upon arrival systems supply plenum was disconnected pushing air into attic, system is also low on refrigerant, found leak at liquid line solder joint, recommended repairing leak sealing supply plenum, nitrogen leak searching system after fixing leak to ensure that there are not anymore leaks in the system, then pulling a vacuum and recharging system with factory charge. System also does not have any flood protection installed, recommended adding wet switch and inline float switch to prevent any water damage that may occur due to a clogged drain line, customer would like to review estimates and will get back with us on repairs. System is currently not cooling at this time. Also recommended replacing section of flue pipe that is rusted out and that has silver tape over flue pipe.
Came out today to complete one system no cool HVAC service call. Upon customer stated that the unit at the back right of the building was not cooling. At this time, customer approved one system HVAC diagnostic. Upon inspection of this system found rust on the heat exchanger, the burners were also rusty, there is no TE standard flood protection, at this time system was running, but not cooling, system is low on 410 a refrigerant, which indicates a refrigeration leak, the outdoor condenser coil is heavily impacted, on startup this system is over amping, the blower wheel. Based on the following findings and how current condition of equipment is recommending update system. At this time, customer approved Band-Aid repair, which is to just add refrigerant to get the system cooling. Upon adding 4 pounds of refrigerant to the system. System is now cooling properly, but pressure is very high due to dirty evaporate coil. Customer is aware that there is no warranty for this repair due to nothing
Came out today to perform one system HVAC fall maintenance inspection. Upon arrival, customer stated that on the hot days the thermostat says service equipment. Upon inspection of this system performed full inspection on both the heat and cool. At this time, the outdoor condenser was dirty, on start up the system was pulling 84 amps and the system is only rated for 77, also customer did not have a wet switch inside of the drain pan, the condensate line came directly out of the system, and ran flat across the attic floor to exit the home, at this time the blower wheel is clean, the contactor and capacitor are both good and within range, the heat exchanger is in good condition. After speaking with homeowner about current conditions per her request, we repaired the indoor drain line to have proper slope, added a wet switch, clean the outdoor condenser coil, and also added a start booster. Upon doing all of these things and testing the system found that the compressor is only pooling 64 A

Called out for backed up kitchen sink. Garbage disposal just needed to be turned on to clear the food waste. Customer had us look at a shower/tub as well, it was draining slow. Service Summary – Condensate Drain / Water Leak Came out because the customer was concerned about water leaking near the gutter guards whenever the A/C systems were operating. Upon inspection, I found that the condensate drain lines were clogged. Both HVAC systems share a tied-in condensate drain configuration, which caused the secondary drain pans for both systems to fill with water. I also found that the existing Bulldog float switches had failed. Even with the secondary pans completely filled with water, the safety switches did not shut the HVAC systems down, creating a risk of continued overflow and potential water damage. Work Performed * Removed all standing water from both secondary drain pans. * Cut in two condensate cleanouts to provide proper access for servicing the drain system. * Thoroughly flushed and cleared the condensate drain lines. * Verified that condensate water was properly exiting the building. * Ran the A/C system for approximately 20 minutes after repairs.

TE responded quickly to my call to replace a failed leaking electric water heater. Their service technician was polite, knowledgeable and professional in every way. They replaced my water heater the same day and installed a new toilet for me at the same time. Their pricing was reasonable.
Needed a duct replaced - Mason and team were efficient, clean, kept me informed during the project. Very satisfied with the experience.
Brandon explained in detail the work that needed to be done and was very professional. Very quick with his quotes, always on time, and keeping me informed of his progress. I will be using him again for future projects.
Let me first state that I postponed this dangerous electrical repair out of fear of the cost. Then I later tried to seek help from sources like Craigslist, Nextdoor, and others which proved to be unreliable and unlicensed. I finally decided to call the professionals and I couldn’t be happier with the service, price, and professionalism that TE Certified provided. However the most shocking part of this service call was the cost. I found that most of the non-certified handymen’s prices were within 10% of a Professional service and they offer no warranty or guarantee on their services. With TE Certified I received all of these benefits plus excellent customer service. No more handymen for me.
Chadler quickly diagnosed the problem and quoted solutions.
