Customer was told by the water department they had a leak. Their bill was $600. Upon inspection we noticed the meter box was completely full of water. We emptied the water out and began leak search. We found the leak coming from a pinhole in the check valve. We replaced the check valve and added a new courtesy valve inside the box. Reconnected to existing water service and restored water. Tested for leaks and back filled. We ran water inside to clear up any debris and flush out the air. No issues when we left.

Tech was out today for no cooling. Tech checked furnace and seen blower wheel dirty this would need to be clean. Blower motor over amping . Gas flex going into furnace is incorrect. This needs to be black pipe coming out of furnace and then gas flex connection hooked up to black pipe. Furnace not in operable condition. Outdoor unit was taken apart. Customer was cleaning it. Customer had bought a capacitor tech used capacitor that customer had for testing purposes found system low on refrigerant. There is a leak in system … system is R 22. There is no repairs that can be done. Let customer know due to system being low on refrigerant system will freeze up and will not cool home. With other issues going on with the system, there is no repairs that can be made. Let customer know that we need to have an install . Let customer know that we need to have an install manager come out and give a quote on replacing system. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a bra

Customer called us out for a clog in the washer and dryer hook up. On arrival the upstairs water was draining into the laundry room on the basement. I cleaned up as much water as I could and quoted customer to run a tub gun through the washer drain line to clear it. I was unable to clear the blockage. I attempted to clear it from the clean out located above the washer drain with the k400. The cable kept getting caught in the cast iron and I could not clear the clog. A sewer supervisor came out and I assisted them.

Arrived back on site after picking up the blower motor to replace the failed motor. We began by confirming the correct motor, cutting power to the air handler and carefully removing the old motor. We installed the new motor, being mindful of wire direction and remembering to tighten the set screw and ensuring the wheel was clean and balanced. After we installed it, we began cooling and the new motor on high speed ran at just under 1.5amps, when the previous motor was above 2 amps. We installed a new 10uf capacitor as well. System is fully operational, cooling well with a 20 degree temp split. Payment collected via credit card. Call complete.

Arrived on site to perform a diagnostic for a 2 system home. One system controls upstairs and one controls downstairs. The systems are both Rheem heat pumps from 2012. The upstairs unit wasn’t working sad when client changed his filter he noticed moisture on the filter. I cycled the unit on and when I was checking the outdoor unit I noticed the lineset begin to freeze. This tells me the fan isn’t spinning. Once inside I confirm that and tested the run capacitor for the unit. It was testing at 10 out of 10uf. We cycled the motor and found a ton of bearing resistance and a ton of operational noise indicating bearings are failing. The motor is toast. It runs for 3 minutes then shuts off. Unfortunately the parts houses are closed today but we can call to find the motor first thing Monday morning and will return after we get our hands on the motor. Client also wants pricing on this condensing units fan blade cover. I’ll inquire about both with apex on Monday. System non operational and left

I needed a submersed sump pump replaced in my basement, which was in the process of being remodeled. Zack came out and thoroughly explained the process and gave me an estimate. After a couple minor issues -- regarding my older pump set-up, Zach and Vincent got it all cleared and operating correctly. The prior install was not professional, resulting in more work for Zach and Vincent. I would highly recommend TE Certified to anyone; they will be called when service is needed in the future. Thank you, guys.

Allen arrived promptly within arrival window. When he arrived he explained the process of completing the work (Adding a T fitting and shutoff valve to my gas line). He completed the work quickly and explained how connection worked. He even painted the new pipe fitting to match the older pipes. He did a great job. This company has great customer service. They even called me back after the initial estimate and worked with me to provide a better quote. I will definitely use them again if needed.
