Quoted price to install a new 1 inch PE line from gas meter to pool heater at back of property. Installed new PE gas line with tracer wire underground 18 inches or deeper from meter up to pool heater. Connected pool heater with sediment trap and regulator. Connected the new regulator to the building and installed the new high-pressure line with isolation valve for the pool heater after meter. The new regulators are installed and client is waiting for the gas company to install a high-pressure meter. Tested with no leaks. Documented at all work with pictures. Ran all gas fixtures inside to confirm proper flow.

Perform gas pressure test on whole house. Only gas appliances are fireplace and stove in kitchen. After gas pressure test on entire house starting at gas meter, no pressure drop appeared on gas gauge for an entire 20 minutes of pressure at 15psi. No leak at gas stove but there appears to be a slow leak at fireplace from burner. Left gas supply turned off at fireplace until fireplace technician can make proper repairs.

Water heater repair. On arrival client explained he had a water heater overheating. Client contacted manufacturer and they gave him a part for repair. Purchase the part before arriving on site and replace the gas control valve and burner assembly. The burner assembly was changed because during removal of the pilot tube, a piece of the pilot tube itself broke off inside the gas control valve meaning the pilot assembly was no longer able to be used for the repair. client said he would be reimbursed by the manufacturer since it is under warranty parts only. I located the burner assembly and replaced it as a courtesy. Tested both the gas control valve and burners assembly with no leaks. Set the water heater at 120° for the client. noticed the T&P discharge line was holding water. Drain the TP. Discharge line and located the pressure relief valve at backside of building. Water pressure is 65 psi. Hundred dollar discount was applied to the cost of the job because of an appointment had to be
