Replace outdoor gfci outlet in front yard

Upon arrival, customer showed us to the toilet in the powder room that required the handle to be held down in order to flush completely. After inspection of the tank components, we discovered the chain and flapper needed to be adjusted to allow for a longer flush cycle. Customer then showed us to an upstairs bedroom toilet that would spray water from the top of the tank after being flushed. We determined that an improperly connected hose was used on the fill valve. After installing the correct fill valve hose, the customer then showed us to the master bedroom wet bar where a customer-supplied faucet and basket strainer were to be installed. We completed this installation and made all necessary connections to the shut off valves and drain pipe and then proceeded to test all work to the faucet and aforementioned toilets to ensure proper function. No further issues present at this time.

Completed troubleshooting of a/c power

Completed homecare maintenance for 2 systems. Fully tested units from thermostats. Found both condenser coils very dirty, both return ducts/plenums are caked up with dirt/dust, both systems lacking flood protections, and capacitor to main level blower is failing. The upstairs level is not cooling due to low refrigerant levels, signifying a leak. Conducted electronic leak search and found major leak in outdoor condenser coil. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Inspect panel for water damage

Upon arrival, customer showed us to the upstairs master bathroom where a drip was present on the shower head. Afterwards, we performed an inspection on the home by checking the water heater condition as well as static water pressure. It was then that we discovered the thermal expansion tank and pressure reducing valve had failed as there was a reading of 110psi at the water heater and 105 psi at the backyard hose bib. We informed the homeowner this excessive pressure is unsafe for the plumbing system and can cause catastrophic failure of the system. We quoted to replace the Pressure Reducing Valve and Thermal Expansion Tank to return the pressure back to safe levels. The customer declined to move forward with these repairs at this time and opted to instead only replace the shower cartridge in the master bathroom. Customer has a broken pre filter. Customer wanted a company that services and repairs water softener systems. I advised him we don’t repair softeners but that he could just replace the pre filter to fix his issue. I informed him about halo and how it would eliminate his need for the system and filter replacements he currently has.

Homecare safety inspection

T.E. Certified provided 3 Kohler Kingston toilets, and the customer provided one Toto toilet for the upstairs master bathroom. Additional toilets provided by T.E. Certified were installed at a discounted rate! Technician replaced broken toilet flange in the upstairs master bathroom. Also, replaced broken toilet flange in the upstairs hallway bathroom. PVC closet 90 degree fitting, in hallway bathroom, was found to be compromised, and was replaced from garage ceiling below. T.E. Certified is not responsible for sheet rock repairs. All four toilets were replaced successfully and tested several times for proper functionality. All toilets were sealed to the floor with clear, waterproof silicone. All toilets were set with new wax ring, toilet bolts, and steel braided water supply lines. I removed the hall bathroom shower valve and flushed it two separate times. This did increase the flow somewhat and I showed client the increased flow on the hot side. I am sending estimates for repairs and water heater replacement.

Troubleshoot light above fireplace not working. Rewire each of the two recessed can lights above the fireplace. (Make new connections with connectors and wire nuts) Install new LED gimbal (tilting) trims for can lights. Replace switch for lighting in den.

Opened two holes for leak search. One in garage discovered no leak. Must have been old water damage from before roof was replaced. Second hole in kitchen ceiling revealed leaking Roman tub faucet. Recommended replacing and left estimate.

Customer called us out for a slow draining sink in a bathroom. Upon inspection I noticed that the drain/sink was draining slow. I removed the p trap and cleaned sink gunk out of it along with the stopper. Tested for leaks and cleaned area where work was performed.

Toilet repair. Failed flapper and fill valve replaced.

Came out to inspect leaking shower head. Moen cartridge was good and it was just the shower head holding water because it was not flat. Installed a new prv and thermal expansion tank. Increased the pressure to 65psi. Checked and tested for leaks.

I’m here doing a home inspection

Our client reach out to us in reference to installing a bidet toilet seat in the master bathroom. Old seat was uninstalled and new seat is installed. It was tested for leaks and no leaks were found. Water pressure at 78 psi and have informed the client of the aging water heater and provided quote
