Arrived found system cooling. Water in auxiliary drain pan due to cracked drain pan. No in-line safety or wet switch. Evaporator coil and blower wheel are dirty. Bacteria growth inside air handler cabinet. Call manufactured drain pan is not local 3 to 5 business days. Customer will call in when ready to make repairs.

Customer called in about water in the attic in the drain pan. A full system inspection was not performed today. I did however check electrical components and refrigerant pressures. System appears to be in good condition however, the filter was very dirty. The airflow to the system can cause the coil to freeze and result in the evaporator freezing up. Replaced the filter and cleared the drain line today. Also insulated the p trap to prevent sweating. Unit is cooling on my departure. System does not have a inline safety switch. Upstairs unit is completely separate and not on the lease. The main floor unit was the area of concern today.

Arrived on site for no AC call. Checked in with customer and also checked thermostat for power and functionality. Set thermostat into call for cool, went outside to package unit. Nothing was happening, checked capacitor. It’s still good. Went to contact her and noticed that it is severely burned and has started pitting. While messing with the low-voltage unit kicked on sending power through contactor. Recommend replacing. Also found filter to need to be changed

I originally hired Jordan for a small job of installing an exterior light and outlet. It was during this job that it was discovered that previous electrical work completed by other companies was done incorrectly, leaving some wires ungrounded and other live wires laying in insulation in the attic. Jordan didn't just tell me what was wrong, but instead he showed me the wires, explained what needed to be done, and documented everything. Done right is better than being done cheap!
