Came out today to perform one system HVAC no cool service call. Upon arrival customer stated that he tried to figure out why the system wasn’t working and couldn’t. At this time found 90% Goodman gas furnace from 2010 paired with a 2010 3 ton Goodman AC. Customer approved full system diagnostic at this time. During the diagnostic found that I had 24 V going to the contactor and it would not pull the contactor closed. Upon installing new contactor to test system found that the refrigeration pressures were very high and found out this is due to a failing compressor, the condenser coil at this time is dirty, the return airflow for the system low, found that the heat exchanger is failing and has dancing flames, the blower will is dirty. Upon today’s findings, customer would like a quote to update the system. Customer is aware that long as he purchases a new system through us within seven days we will refund the amount of the contactor and diagnostic. At this time, homeowner did not sign up
Dug up at the meter and installed a temporary hose bib to assist with leak locate service
But the job I conduct a leak detection service for original technician Dalton out of Jonesboro. During my investigation became a parent that I would have to introduce compressed air onto the plumbing system due to the age of the home the fact that there was no unregulated hose bib on the home, and that the home is piped in CPVC, I had the original technician cut me in a temporary hose bib right in front of the meter so that I could introduce compressed there there. Once the main service was isolated between the shut off in the garage and the meter and I had compressed air on the line. I traced it. The service with my ground, penetrating, sonar probe, between the meter and the home. I discovered the leak underneath the sidewalk in the front of the home, roughly 3 1/2 feet off the front right hand corner of the home just to the left of the garage. Original technician is on site at this point, and I shared location with him and the homeowner.
Today we replaced the leaking 50 gallon power vent water heater on the left-hand side of the two. Water temperature is set to 120 and all is working as intended.
My experience with Tahj and TE Certified was exceptional. Transparency about service and price meant a lot to me and I really appreciated that. Thorough job done with pics to verify before and after process. Would recommend to others in a heartbeat.
Arrived on site and met with the homeowner, who directed me to the front yard water meter area. The homeowner reported water pooling inside the water meter box. Upon inspection, I found an active leak at the union connection where the existing PVC water service piping connects to the dual check valve. I informed the homeowner that the applicable warranty and long-term reliability of the repair may depend on the existing piping material and the age and condition of the water service. The exposed water service piping was identified as PVC. I explained that PVC piping is an approved material for underground water service applications; however, the age and overall condition of the existing water service should be considered when determining whether a localized repair or full water service replacement is the best long-term solution. Due to the existing service's age and the potential for additional failures in other areas, replacement of the entire water service may be recommended in the f
Performed diagnostic on 53yrnold furnace, upon arrival customer statuses they had a power surge and after restoring power unit would not come on, checked tstst, no 24volts, inspected furnace, verified 120v, but no 24v, explained fan center assembly needs to be replaced, power surge possibly fired several items in furnace, explained there could be other parts failed as well but can’t check until we get correct voltage to system, will have to check if part is available, explained due to age of furnace parts could be obsolete, outdoor unit is r22, explained r22 is obsolete as of 1/1/2020, highly recommend system update due to age and condition of equipment, scheduled install supervisor for tomorrow, will also call with information if part is available, unit not working at time Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
Called out to install gas valve for dryer and fix leaking tub valve. Gave estimate and the customer agreed. I removed the gas whip that was attached to the dryer and installed a new valve then I removed and replaced the shower valve and diverter in the upstairs hallway bathroom. Tested everything with no leaks and working properly at this time.
Attention to detail. Clean smart
Replaced the customer supplied kitchen sink, the kitchen sink faucet and garbage disposal, filled sink and dumped to test, replaced the PRV in the garage and set the pressure to 60 PSI, repaired the upstairs hall bath toilet with new tank bolts, new fill valve and new supply line.
Called out for leak coming from behind hallway bathroom vanity upon inspection found that leak was coming from tubular drain pipe at the p trap that was not connected properly. I installed an extension tube tested no leaking at this time working properly.
Performed a complete cooling system inspection after the customer reported concerns with the operation of the air conditioning system. The equipment is a 2019 Goodman 2.5-ton R-410A split system. During the inspection, I found the outdoor contactor was worn and beginning to fail from normal electrical wear. A failing contactor can cause intermittent operation, prevent the compressor and condenser fan from energizing properly, and may eventually result in a complete loss of cooling. I also observed that the outdoor condenser coil was dirty, restricting airflow through the condenser. This condition reduces heat transfer, decreases system efficiency, and causes the compressor to operate under increased stress. The system does not currently have TE Certified Flood Protection (wet switch) installed, leaving the home vulnerable to potential water damage if the condensate drain were to become clogged in the future. Additionally, the home does not have any whole-home indoor air quality equip
Today we reinstalled the kitchen light after verifying wires were ok, did tape repair a neutral wire.

Today I replaced the Moen digital shower valve system in the master bathroom, provided by the customer. Install was done according to instruction manual and all was tight with no leaks at the time. A new penetration was made by the customer to allow the mounting of the new horizontal control panel. Customer is aware they will have to have someone seal the holes in the shower wall to ensure it is waterproof.
No cooling call, upon arrival customer stated that system was short cycling, checked refrigerant levels and found that system was running at a high pressure, found that condenser coil is very dirty, checked capacitors and found that dual capacitor is bad reading 3/5 on the fan side, blower wheel is also dirty, contactors pads are also worn out buzzing noise coming from contactor, system does not have TE standard flood protection, furnace is 26 years old, AC is 15 years old, recommended install supervisor to quote replacement of system, customer declined all estimates and will review estimates and get back with us. Low pressure switch is also bypassed, system also can fail at any point due to repairs not being made today.
No cooling call, upon arrival tenant stated that unit is not keeping up temperature, checked crawlspace and found that crawlspace has a high humidity, recommended encapsulating crawlspace, as well as adding dehumidifier to crawlspace, also noticed that air handler and all ducts are sweating due to crawlspace not being encapsulated, there is mix match equipment installed, ICP air handler and Lennox heat pump, system will never cool properly with having mismatch equipment, equipment should be the same brand inside and outside in order to get 100% efficiency out of system, system also may need to be upsized, blower wheel is dirty, evaporator coil is dirty, system is low on return air, also found bad dual capacitor reading out of tolerance, compressor is overamping, system is also low on refrigerant about 3 lbs low, condenser coil is a little dirty causing high pressures, there are also 2 ducts that are damaged and we will need to replace small section of ducts, recommended getting install

Arrived on site and met with the homeowner to complete the approved replacement of the master bathroom shower valve. Access was gained to the plumbing, and the existing shower valve was removed. Tile in the hallway bathroom was removed again as needed to provide proper access for the installation. Installed a new Delta shower valve, ensuring all water supply connections were properly aligned and secured. A Delta remodel kit and new trim were installed to complete the valve replacement and provide a finished appearance. Once the installation was complete, the water system was restored and the shower valve was thoroughly tested for proper operation, including hot and cold water function and leak inspection. No leaks were found during testing, and the new shower valve is operating properly at this time. The homeowner was informed that all plumbing work has been completed successfully. Contractor is not responsible for the removal, replacement, or repair of any tile or other finish materi
