Flooring company removed the toilet in the upstairs hall bathroom to install new flooring. The toilet was installed incorrectly which caused a leak in the ceiling of the kitchen. I reset the toilet with a new wax ring and bolts. I sealed around the base with clear silicone. The toilet has been tested thoroughly. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
Today we were called out here because Lisa discovered a leak coming from one of the shark bite fittings that was put in when work was previously done to the home from a contractor. The fitting that I noticed was a gray polybutylene to pex adapter coupling. The pecks pipe was connected to the gray polybutylene side of the coupling was the reason why it was leaking to begin with because it’s not the same diameter as for the pecan piping. I recommended to get rid of the shark bite fittings because they are temporarily and not permanent fittings. Lisa agreed to replace them and also swap out the PRV that they are having pressure issues. I replace shark bite fittings with proper pressed fittings that bond better to the pipe and swap out PRV with new main shutoff. Turn the water back on to test the fittings that I have put in for any leaks and found no issues. We are also here for today and there are no other plumbing concerns.
Arrived to finish up rough

For this job the customer stated they had a disposal that was making a loud humming noise and the impellers were not working. Further inspection showed a sink that was slow to drain due to the disposal being clogged and non operable. I recommended replacing the disposal with a new more powerful one. The customer agreed and the old disposal was removed and replaced with a new 1/2 hp badger disposal. After disposal was installed I tested it multiple times including filling and draining the sink as well as running the dishwasher. No leaks were observed and the disposal was in proper working order.
Vincent completed a complicated project for me. He was timely, professional, and efficient. I will request him again in the future.

Arrived on site and customer stated a leak as coming from the meter . Customer agreed to have me dig up and locate the leak to determine the issue . Once front of the meter box was cleared , and found a check valve leaking. I had to cut out the check valve all the way back to the meter to make the repair.I replace the meter nipple , check valve and replaced the ball valve that was on the line . Once repair was made I turned the water back on at the meter and checked my repair are to ensure no issues . Water is back on to the house and pressure is 60. Additionally I left quotes to repair the hole water line .
The living room outlets left and right of the fireplace were not working. The issue was due to a toggle switch located on the foyer area being turned off. As a courtesy we bypassed the switch for the come owner allowing for constant power to the outlets. We also found that plug mold and wiring was installed improperly to the right of the fireplace we left an estimate for the correction.
James and his assistant were both efficient, professional, and left everything clean and neat. They’re great!!

The customers had bought the home and the inspector had flagged an issue with a double tapped breaker inside the panel. I came out today and completed the following work to correct the panel: Removed the 20 amp single pole breaker from circuit # 18 and moved it to #5. By doing this it had eliminated the non listed part. Installed a pre existing 20 amp duel function breaker on to #18 Removed the double tapped wiring on the circuit breaker located on circuit # 7 and pig tail the wires together and land it back on the existing breaker. Cleaned all dust and debris out for the bottom of the panel. I removed the existing surge protector and supplied and installed a $75,000 lifetime warranty surge protector at the service disconnect with a new breaker. The reason for the replacement was due to the existing surge protector has 35kA (35,000 Amps) of protection with a 3 year warranty (expired) with $10,000 of protection coverage.
Upon arrival, I met with the owner. Their kitchen sink recently started backing up but does slowly drain when the water is shut off. We discussed the options and today they are moving forward to Hydrojet the line. There is a test cap on top of the santee they allowed me to saw off for access. They will cap it off when I am done. I first ran my flex shaft to clear the blockage and help break up debris standing in the line. I then ran my hydrojetter, performed several passes to ensure the line is cleared. I ran the faucet as well and ensured no leaks or errors. Perform sink drain line cleaning using hydro jetter. Drain clear only. Does not include repairs or main line cleaning. No warranty on drain cleaning.

Vincent did a great job analyzing our difficult job. He was here for many hours dedicated to completing our very tricky plumbing needs. We will call for their service again!
arrived on site and customer was experiencing a dripping faucet in the upstairs bathroom. My first step was to check the pressure of the house which I got a reading of 50 psi while diagnosing the pressure. We ran a faucet in the house and while the faucet was running, the pressure dropped by 12+ psi. Customer was experiencing pressure regulator issues, which was the main cause of the cartridge failing. I also noticed that the tankless water heater had no thermal expansion tank. The cartridge was a special type, which customer wanted to replace the cartridge initially , however we could not identify or locate the valve type . I also noticed that underneath the bathroom faucet cabinet there were no shut off valves. Customer stated that they did not use that bathroom faucet and just wanted to isolate the bathroom faucets. Customer agreed to remove the backing and the drywall underneath the cabinet and installed shut off valves for the bathroom fixture, which I was able to stop the dripp
Aiden was very professional!
Ben Cantrell is a great plumber. He does a thorough job and works quickly. He is my go-to guy!!
Ben was great. He arrived on time. He patiently answered my questions. He described what the service entails and worked efficiently.
Seth and the entire interaction with everyone at TE was really great. Seth gave me a heads-up before his arrival to let me know he was on the way and arrived right on time. The whole house generator service went smoothly and he gave me a thorough run-down of everything he did as part of the visit. He even pointed out a few things to keep any eye on over the next year in advance of the next service call. He explained the billing up front and there were no surprise add-ons at the end. I've worked with TE over the couple of years and that is something that I really like about them: the prices they have quoted are what I pay. That is a pleasant surprise in today's market where everything is laden with extra fees and hidden charges.
James is my Go To guy for all things electric!! Best service with fair prices. I won’t use anyone else!!
Vincent & Alex of TE Certified Plumbing Great job guys.....You showed up on time and went way over my expectations with regards to explaining your findings and offerring alternative options to address my plumbing issues. Kyle is always so awesome. We try to ask for him by name. He did our basement build out last year and did a fantastic job. This time it was troubleshooting an issue that had been lurking since the home was built. He and his assistant methodically went through just about the entire upstairs circuitry. He was able to find the cause: a tiny nick in the insulation on the neutral wire that was touching the ground wire. Amazing process of elimination IMO.
I like the communication we had before and after the job, caring about the customer. Kyle and associate did an excellent job.
James is a consummate professional. He is thorough and efficient. And he does it all at a reasonable price. I won’t use anyone else!!
I had a clogged toilet, but the technician insisted he look at my water heater for leaks. I told him my toilet had nothing to do with the water heated. I just got the feeling that all he wanted to do was to sell me more services rather than fix my problem.
