Job Locations and Reviews
Today we came out because the home is being sold and the new homeowner hired a home inspector, the home inspector found a few things that needed to be fixed. They were a few open spices in the attic that came from can lights being wired properly. The washer outlet was missing a GFCI. The underground service pipe had detached from meter due to the ground settling so we will have a return visit with a power drop to fix that issue.
Arrived on site to perform a troubleshoot for a dryer not working. The homeowner stated that when he would plug his dryer in, it would instantly trip the breaker. The homeowner switched the breaker to a square d breaker and it would still trip. While performing the troubleshoot, we noticed the dryer outlet was not wired correctly. The neutral and hot were on the wrong screw. The cord and outlet were damaged. We installed the existing breaker for the basement dryer. We replaced the dryer outlet with a new 30 amp rated outlet and plate. We also installed a new dryer cord. The breaker does not come with a warranty since it is original to the home. Everything is working upon departure.
Arrived on site and spoke with Lori about inspection repairs . It was stated the pressure was above 60 psi, there was a leak in the crawlspace which I found to be coming from the shower drain , and the shower head was leaking. After getting approval from the signed estimate from her team , I replaced the PRV in the crawlspace and set pressure to 60 psi. I also replaced the shower drain in the crawlspace/ shower and replaced the shower head in the master bathroom.
Excellent
Perfomed 1 system cooling diagnostics on a 2021 goodman system. The unit was frozen up on my arrival. The homeowner gave me approval to defrost the unit and performed the diagnostics on the system. I deforsted the unit and checked the refrigerant pressures; no indications that the system has a refrigerant leak (pressures good). Zoning was opening snd closing properly so was the bypass damper. Additional findings/ issues that need to be addressed 1) system doesn't have a return plenum with a filter rack. Return plenum is needed to provide proper air flow to the system and to hold the air filter. 2) outdoor capacitor has failed and is near complete failure. I tested the capacitor with my electrical meter and per manufacturers label the capacitor does need to be replaced based on my readings. 3) the outdoor contactor appears to be in bad condition and Tech recommends to have it replaced. 4) the outdoor unit is impacted with dirt and needs to be broken down and professionally acid c
For this call, homeowners were having very low water pressure throughout the home. We came out today once they were ready to move on getting the PRV replaced that was in the ground. We began by digging up the PRV box and also the water meter box. After revealing the meter, we saw it was dripping on the city’s side so we did not touch it and used the ball valve that was before the PRV to shut water off. Originally we were gonna add a new ball valve but because of the meter we could not. After replacing PRV, we opened water back up and saw the water flow was significantly better throughout the home. PRV was set to 65 PSI. Homeowners will be giving the city a call to try and get them out to replace necessary meter or parts. Thank you for trusting TE Certified with all your plumbing needs.
Homeowner had two 50 gallon water heaters and has three bathrooms. Homeowner wanted to save on electricity and only use one water heater. Shut water off and turned power off to the secondary heater. Repiped water heater. Insulated and tested.
For this job, the tenant showed me the leak on the expansion tank installed the garage. Once we called the landlord he opted to go with option 4 since the heater is only 3 years old. I pressurized the expansion tank to 65 psi and installed the new one back on the existing bracket with new fittings. Once complete I tested my work turned the heater back on and cleaned up Thank you for choosing TE Certified.
Replaced blower relay and time delay relay on air handler. Let unit run with individual zones open and both zones open at the same time. Short cycling was not observed. Advised homeowner to let us know if the issue persists. Noticed P-trap is cracked and leaking water. Recommended replacing P-trap and adding cleanout. This option was declined at this time.Thank you for choosing TE certified!
The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Disconnect melted. Replaced with approval. System sporadically short cycling. Bypassed the thermostat as well as the zone board. Will order a relay kit and get pricing and availability. Advised homeowner that zone board could still potentially be faulty. System operational upon departure. Follow up will be submitted. Thank you for choosing TE certified!
Here on time, knowledgeable, and great workmanship
We replaced a burnt out A/C disconnect located on the left side of the home. This is more likely due to loose connections inside the box and very sharp bends on the wire. We also discovered that the load side of the disconnects going to the A/C units, a contractor had used NM-B (indoor rated cable) outside for the units. We removed all the Romex and supplied and installed new Thwn wiring and tested all units.
The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Thermostat locked. Unlocked thermostat. Capacitor near dead. Replaced with approval. System cooling upon departure. Thank you for choosing TE certified!
Outdoor capacitor failed. Replaced with approval. Noticed inadequate water, safeties, inadequate ductwork for upstairs and dirty condenser coils. Home care recommended to help keep equipment maintained and to ensure proper drainage. System cooling upon departure. Thank you for choosing TE certified!
The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Mini split empty on refrigerant. Refrigerant added into system, and a very small leak was noticed on the liquid line joint. Joint tightened until bubbles dissipated. Charged with refrigerant accordingly. System now back to cooling properly. Thank you for choosing TE certified!
Responded to a no cooling concern for the main floor air conditioning system. Performed diagnostic testing and found the outdoor unit capacitor had failed, preventing normal system operation. Replaced the failed capacitor and verified system performance. After repair, the system resumed normal cooling operation and was operating properly at the time of departure. As part of the diagnostic inspection, both HVAC systems were evaluated for overall condition and reliability. During the assessment, several maintenance and protection opportunities were identified and discussed. The systems currently do not have adequate condensate flood protection devices installed. These safety devices help reduce the risk of water damage if a drain blockage or drainage issue occurs. Additional findings included outdoor condenser coils on both systems that are due for cleaning. Dirt and debris buildup on condenser coils can reduce cooling efficiency, increase operating costs, and place additional
Friendly & Excellent service
For this job, the customer stated that the downstairs guest bathroom toilet was rocking, and one of the bolts was broke. The customer opted to go with option 1 to replace the toilet, and flange. We also installed a new PRV to remove the builder grade PRV. Once complete I tested my work and cleaned up thank you for choosing TE Certified.n
Replace bad indoor control . Replaced bad control and tested after installation. The unit is performing correctly now . Thanks for being a te certified customer.
Home care 2 systems . The home has one 100k furnace upstairs and a 75 k furnace downstairs. The air conditioners are 3 1/2 upstairs and a 3 ton downstairs. The equipment was installed in 2020. Tested heating and cooling. Tested and cleaned drains and pump. There was min flood protection upstairs. Both outdoor coils were severely stopped up. The run capacitor was bad on the downstairs compressor. Made necessary repairs and tested work. Everything is operating properly at this time.
Came in quick and got the job done. No complaints what so ever. Highly recommend.
