Found many airflow issues with system. System is single stage with no bypass and 1 zone calls for 1/4 dampers. (Upstairs) Recommend replacing system as no amount of ductwork modifications can guarantee that the issues will be resolved. Ewc themselves don’t recommend adding bypass to the system. In the future many more issues may arise such as system kicking out on high limit in the heating season and kicking out on low pressure in the cooling season. System may freeze up if nothing is done.

Performed a full system home care on single home. System is from 2002, on the furnace. We found a large amount of rust inside the unit, filter, extremely dirty, blower wheel, dirty, no wet switch. On the outdoor unit we found the capacitor completely failed and hard start kit needing to be replaced. Also found 19 PPM of carbon monoxide leaking into the home told customer to run heat at their discretion. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Water main repair after meter. On arrival client explained he had a leak after water meter. Client had excavated the front of the meter and located a leak on the connection just after the pro press fitting underground. Excavated further upstream line to allow for a 2 foot section of tubing to be replaced underground. Remove the Ford coupling from the female adapter. Installed new male, adapter, brass pecks with a short piece of pecks tubing. Tested with no leaks. Client will cover up the excavation. Documented all work with pictures. Thanks T.J.
