Replaced shorted condenser motor and replaced bad compressor. The unit is running properly now at this time . Work was done on Rudd system for kitchen.

Diagnosed a bad dual capacitor on the compressor side. Advised customer repair total would have to be higher to wave the service fee. Customer opted to keep old capacitor and forgo other options. Advised before I left that the compressor did not sound good and offered to replace capacitor but customer declined.

Complete service upgrade

For this job we installed a ceiling fan. Everything was tested and is working properly.

For this job we replaced the main panel, installed a new grounding system, installed a customer supplied car charger, replaced three existing smoke detector that were old, installed new GFCI and AFCI breakers, and replaced the outdoor panel and re-ran some of the outdoor wiring.

Installed the correct size wire for the A/C whip. The A/C is rated for 50 amps. It had #10 wire ran through the whip. We installed new #6 wire through the whip which is rated for 50. Amps. We made new connections in the A/C disconnect and then A/C unit.

Not Cooling - Main level, 22 year old Lennox Equipment System not cooling mainly due to age. The compressor has an open run winding and the start winding is making noise while the system is not calling for cooling. The electromagnetic contactor has failed and sent high voltage back to the furnace control board, this fried the control board. Homeowner let me know when he initially found the system not cooling, the AC breaker was tripped. This is a catastrophic failure. The furnace has rust damage on exterior and interior of heat exchanger. The blower wheel is impacted with debris, and the blower motor is seeping oil at the main seal. Due to the age, condition, refrigerant type (R-22 refrigerant) and not all repairs available due to restrictions, I recommended updating the equipment. The homeowner agreed and requested we send out an install supervisor to go over options. I scheduled this appointment for tomorrow for an 11am-2pm arrival. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified, have a gr

Customer called us out for a main drain stoppage in a commercial building. This has been a reoccurring issue and the customer would like a more permanent solution. I will first remove a toilet to gain access to the main drain line and attempt to remove stoppage by using the snake machine. There is also two toilets that need a minor repair to restore proper operation and to prevent the toilets from constantly running. I will have to perform a repair to these toilets. I was successfully able to remove stoppage and restore proper drainage to the building. Everything is draining properly. I flushed each toilet many times to ensure proper drainage. I was also successfully able to repair both toilet toilets and test to make sure everything is operating properly. Customer is very satisfied. ***A camera technician is coming out tomorrow, Thursday, July 10 between 2 PM and 5 PM to perform a camera inspection of the main drain line.***

Arrived on site to troubleshoot why the main floor A/ C unit wasn’t working. Upon inspection, we discovered that the breaker providing power to the A/ C unit went bad. We replaced the faulty breaker and now the A/ C unit seems to be working correctly. We also performed a troubleshoot for basement kitchen outlets not working. We discovered that the gfci outlet in the mechanical room was tripped. We checked the outlet to make sure there was no obvious issues. We reset the outlet and everything worked. We did inform the homeowner that if the outlet continues to trip, it could be due to a mini fridge plugged into that circuit. I recommended installing whole home surge protection for the main disconnect on the outside of the home, main electrical panels, and sub panel. This will help protect the entire electrical system from surges. I also recommended replacing all smoke detectors with new smoke detectors. Some of the existing smoke detectors and wireless and not interconnected. Having inte

Removed old unit, and installed a new customer provided kitchen faucet. Also, replaced all 3 water stop valves beneath the basement kitchen sink. Tech also brought dishwasher up to code requirements, by adding an in-line hammer arrestor to the water supply line. All work completed was tested for leaks and proper functionality. Work area was also thoroughly cleaned up. A walk through was completed with the customer and payment was successfully collected. THANK YOU for trusting T.E. Certified!!

Diagnosed living room outlets not working and found a backstabbed switch in the garage that was burnt up due to loose connections. Replaced switch.

Removed sycom surge protection. Installed new surge protection. Coming back Thursday to do the car charger outlet.

Homeowner is experiencing sudden leaks from P-traps before going into the walls. To describe them better, these leaks are sudden burst of water out the top of the traps. It’s as if water is being siphoned up and out of the drain line through the P-traps. This happens randomly, when no water is in usage, when the homeowner isn’t home, and when no water is in usage while the homeowner is home. So this issue isn’t a loose connection or pressurized water issue, because all drain connections as far as the P-trap and all water pressure connections as far as the angle stops and the faucet supply line connections have been tested and observed for any water residuals or looseness. Also check pressure in the home which is at 65 psi as well as the thermal expansion tank, which is still in good working condition. With the way the water comes out, and the amount of water, it’s consistent with the amount that’s in the P-trap. But water also stays in the P-trap, with the P-trap remaining full. I beli

Customer was having a leak in the yard by the meter. After digging down I noticed that the leak was coming from the irrigation line. Made a repair on the irrigation. TE certified is not responsible for the irrigation or the functionality of the irrigation. After repair I pressurized the line and tested for leaks. Everything is good at this time. Thank you for choosing te certified.

Customer called us out due to disposal not working. Upon arrival I attempted to flip the switch but got nothing. I checked the disposal reset button and it had been tripped. I pressed it and turned unit on to hear a very loud banging sound. After further inspection I found and key clip stuck inside. I removed it and showed customer. I told them that unit does still work but I can’t be sure that this clip didn’t cause and other damage that could cause a potential leak. Since we were here customer decided to replace it with one he had already purchased. We also replaced the faucet in the laundry room since it was dripping. Tested for leaks and function. No issues when we left.

Inspected the HVAC system not cooling the upstairs. Tested cooling and heating from the thermostat. Measured the refrigerant pressures and electrical component readings. Inspected the safety and cleanliness of the system. Checked the air filters and ran duct load calculations. Found a failed dual capacitor and tested operation after allowing the system to run. Reported findings to the customer. Secured the new dual capacitor at the condenser. Cleaned both condenser coils. Rinsed with water, soaked in coil cleaner for 15 minutes and rinsed off the unit again. With manager approval, signed the customer up for a Homecare maintenance plan on the upstairs and main floor systems only.

Inspected the system that is not cooling the main floor. Also signed the customer up for the Homecare maintenance plan on both systems. Tested cooling and heating from the thermostats. Measured the refrigerant pressures and electrical component readings. Inspected the safety and cleanliness of the systems. Checked the air filters. Reported findings to the customer. Scheduled for an install supervisor to arrive today and build a quote for replacing the main floor A/C.

Arrived on site to troubleshoot a no cool for a 6 year old carrier heat pump. We found the thermostat was having connection issues so we replaced it and cycled the system to test operations. Home began at 85 degrees, by the time we got done testing the system home was down to 81 degrees. We spoke about homecare, maintenance, filters and the coil. We opted to just swap the thermostat. System fully operational and cooling well, call complete.

Toilet would constantly run in master bath due to age of internal components. Replaced toilet in master bath as well as water stop for toilet. Tested and checked for leaks.

For this job, I installed two new kholer Kingston toilets. One in the master bathroom, and one off of the kitchen on the main level half bathroom. I also installed new emergency angle stops, and stainless steel supply lines. The Prv was also making a loud noise and causing high water pressure. I replaced Prv to fix issue. Once done I purged water lines and tested my work no issues found and cleaned up. Thank you for choosing TE Certified.

Flushed Tankless Water Heater
Andrew was the best. Came right out and got my electrical power fixed in no time. He even came out on the 4th of July. I highly recommend there service. He was so knowledgeable helpful.

Replace meter that has burnt up

No cool upstairs. Found system to be running but compressor was not, then compressor kicked on. Found very weak dual capacitor on compressor side not turning compressor on and causing it to hit locked rotor amp rating shutting it down. Compressor has high amp draws. Found pitted contactor that’s starting to burn, dirty ac, minimal flood protection and no IAQ. Replaced capacitor tested system. Amp draw came down closer to normal range. With condenser cleaning it should be normal. Quoted other repairs.

Replaced old leaking water heater with a new 10 year manufacturers warranty 50 gallon water heater. Replaced failed pressure reducing valve. Ran T&P drain to the exterior of the home at no additional charge. Repiped as needed. Tested for leaks and function, all good. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified.
