The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Recovered charge, replaced txv, pressure tested and pulled vacuum to under 600 microns, charged unit to manufacture standards and cleaned outdoor unit.

Performed 1 system diagnostic found restricted txv causing the unit to hunt and freeze intermittently. Also found dirty condenser coil. Unit does not have TE recommended water safeties. Would also recommend homecare for customer. Part is order will need to return with part and repair unit. Unit if operational but not efficient at this time.

Customer signed up for HomeCare Membership. Performed HomeCare routine maintenance inspection on two 5 y/o Carrier heat pump systems that operate for main and upper levels. Checked amp draws. Heat strips are operational. Dampers for upper level are operational. Installed UV BlueTube for main level air handler due to significant growth. Recommend uv protection for upper level as well. Recommend water protection upgrade for both systems. Filters are washable. Pressure levels were normal. Condenser electrical components are good. Systems are currently working.
