Tested system not cooling for the main level of the home. Tested and found the system low on refrigerant by around 2 pounds. Conducted a leak search and found the system is leaking from the evaporator coil. Also found a failing capacitor, no flood protection installed, and dirty condenser coil. This unit also has a 37-year-old furnace that has tons of rust and needs to be replaced. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
