Job Locations and Reviews
For this job, I completed a repair quoted by another tech. I began by removing the old drain lines and properly running new PVC as well as connecting them together. I proceeded to test the unit and clear the drain lines to ensure it was working and go to the upstairs and install a wet switch as well as an SS2. I tested both units got readings and made sure everything was working.
Called out for for an issue with a disposal Upon inspection observed unit was leaking from rivets when water was wan through. Replaced with 3/4 unit and replaced some of tubular. Tested thoroughly No leaks Thanks for choosing TE Certified
Arrived on site for no cool call. Checked in with customer and also checked thermostat for power and functionality. Set in for a call for cool. Nothing happened. Went into the attic, made sure we were getting power to the unit. Tested all four fuses to make sure that they were still working properly. Then tested transformer because I was not getting 24 V on my R, found terminal connection for 24 V side on transformer to be off the unit. Plugged back in went down to thermostat, put in for cool and only the blower came on. Went outside to condenser, tested, capacitor, and contactor. Both are OK. noticed the disconnect was in the opposition. Took out disconnect flipped, and put back in. contactor pulled in for a second and then popped back out checked voltage found out that breaker had been tripped. Went inside, flipped the breaker back on. Went back out to condenser and pulled disconnect out, pulled off fan and fan motor cover, unplugged, compressor, and tested windings on the compressor
Customer has 8 y/o Carrier system that operates for whole house. System was not cooling due to tripped wet switch. Drain line was not properly secured. Drain line was clogged and improperly pitched. Repaired and cleaned drain line. Reset wet switch. Recommend inline water safety. Gas line installation is incorrect. Pressure levels were fair. Condenser coil cleaning needed. Recommend disconnect replacement. Informed customer of all findings. System is currently working.
Performed HC on 4 systems. Inspected thermostat operation/calibration. Inspected electrical terminals/wiring and tightened if necessary. Measured amperage on all motors. Inspected refrigerant levels/preasures on all systems. Replaced 3 16x25x1 filters and 1 16x20x1 filters. Found main floor condenser fan motor over amping needing replacement. Recommended hard start and contactor replacement due to age of equipment. Customer moved forward with replacement. Picked up motor. Replaced motor and installed hard start and contactor. Confirmed operation. System is cooling at this time.

SERVICE CALL: upon arrival homeowner stated the hvac system is not Working properly on cooling mode. After complete troubleshooting I found the hvac system is in poor maintenance conditions the gas furnace Lennox Is 2006 model about 20 years old and the outdoor condenser unit DAIKIN 2 1/2 ton 2018 model about 8 years old the condenser coil Is highly impacted plus the Dual run capacitor is out of spec from manufacture and compressor is overheating. The homeowner supplied the thermostat. An installation charges was applied. Mrs . Prandas agreed for the run capacitor 45/5 mfd and starter kit upgrade. These parts were installed and are operational. No warranty on these items. Due to a clogged condenser unit. The outdoor unit requires deep rejuvenation. With 2 lbs of refrigerant 410A to bring the system to the manufacturer’s specifications. Waive service fee with repairs. Thanks for choosing te certified.

Cut drywall in the toilet closet to gain access to the plumbing in upstairs bathroom under the tub/shower. Found the subfloor under the tub/shower was damaged and observed growth around the area. Contacted property medics and scheduled with the homeowner for them to check out the problem area.
The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today.
-replace old smoke detectors with new customer provided smoke detectors -troubleshoot outlets in back porch not working
Upon arrival customer stated that main level system was not cooling, thermostat was turning on and off and drain pan was filling with water. After inspection of 17 year old gas furnace and 17 year old ac and coil found that system is freezing due to bad metering device. Unit was freezing on site while unit was running. Drain line was clear. The heat exchanger is in very bad shape and rusted. Blower wheel is dirty. Checked outdoor system, capacitor is bad, contactor very pitted and bad, condenser coils are very clogged and dirty, both units outside have dirty condenser coils and compressors are very loud and running rough. Gave customer estimate for repairs. Do not recommend repairing system, the evaporator coil for this unit has been replaced in the past. Adding another coil would be the third coil and can not guarantee repair will work and there is no warranty for repair.
