Today for this job, we diagnose a faulty zone board. we replaced the zone board and tested everything several times to ensure everything was working properly.

Tested system not heating for the main level. Found a popped fuse due to a failed relay on the heat kit. Also tested the outdoor unit and found unit not jumping out of defrost mode. Indoor and outdoor units are also very dirty and subpar flood protections. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Returned to replace downstairs zone damper and bypass damper. Programmed smart bypass damper and made sure zone damper open and closed with thermostat. System is running at this time

Testing system not heating for the whole home. Found the flames turning off due to a dirty flame sensor. Inside of the ducks, blower, and return Plenum are filthy. The system also had two old filters installed that were very dirty. The blower motor was struggling and the cap is failing. After cleaning the flame sensor the unit ran normally. No flood protections are installed and found that the inducer motor is over amp as well. We replaced the blower motor and cleaned the blower wheel and the surrounding area. Also added a new capacitor with the motor. Tested work fully after completion and no failures at this time.

Remove necessary concrete to replace cast iron junction in utility room and through wall to living room Jan,6 2025 OB Chip out floor and perform spot repair on cast iron mapped out new pvc drain pipe. Cast-iron pipe is still holding water and needs to be cleared or camera notified Adam. Adam will return next business day a.m. timeframe. Clean up area, staged, sand, and concrete and work area.

Homeowner had us out today for an inspection on a single system in the home. Upon arrival we noticed that there is a 13 year old system located in the basement. We inspected all electrical components and noticed that there is lots of debris in the return drop. Inducer motor is over amping We also noticed that the blower motor capacitor, which is a 12.5 is reading 10.0, which is out of range. There is lots of debris on the blower wheel which needs to be cleaned. We recommend installing indoor air quality for the bacterial growth inside of the unit. We noticed on the outdoor system that the contactor is very worn out. Presented and left options with homeowner, they are in process of selling home within the next few days. They will contact realtor to see what options they have with buyer
