Upon arrival customer stated that system was not cooling properly during hotter parts of day for upstairs system. Gas furnace is 17 years old, ac and coil is 17 years old. Did full evaluation of system, found that system has a failing compressor that’s cutting off on thermal overload during the hotter parts of day due to compressor over heating. Condenser coils are very clogged and dirty. Compressor is pulling high amps when running. Checked indoor unit, noticed there was small amount of water in pan and unit, due to system being low on refrigerant system is freezing, evaporator coil is very rusted, drain line is getting clogged with rust. Due to age of system, cost of repairs and system no longer being efficient recommend updating system. Customer stated she will speak with her husband about options given today and they will let us know how they want to proceed forward. Gave customer estimates for repairs, repair amount would continue to go up depending on where leak/leaks in refriger

Customer called about a leak underneath kitchen sink. TE arrived and inspected underneath sink. Found leak on spray hose nozzle. Customer will wait till homeowner returns from trip before deciding on next steps.

Perform the walk-through of the home intestinal fireplace to verify proper operation and gas flow. All fireplace were functioning, correct except for the downstairs outdoor fireplace and the main floor sunroom fireplace. Disconnected the gas supply to both units to confirm that they were receiving gas and both were found to have adequate gas flow. Based on the testing, the issue appears to be with the gas, log burners rather than the gas supply. Customer was informed that both fireplaces are receiving gas and the gas lock sets will need to be replaced when they are ready to restore operation.

Replace bad dual capacitor. Replace bad contactor. Repaired refrigerant leak at evaporator coil solder joint. Added 5 lbs. of 410A refrigerant. System is currently working.

Returned today to complete the previously approved repairs identified during the buyers home inspection. Replaced the master shower valve, adjusted the half bath toilet tank, and installed a gas sediment trap on the basement tankless water heater to bring the gas piping into compliance. Upon completion, all repairs were tested and verified for proper operation. The shower valve is functioning correctly with no leaks, the toilet is operating as intended, and the newly installed sediment trap is secure and leak-free. All work was completed in accordance with the agreed scope to address the buyers inspection concerns.

SERVICE CALL: Upon arrival homeowner stated the hvac system is not Working properly on cooling mode. On this visit we performed the following work; Install new dedicated 60amp circuit for Tesla universal wall mounted car charger. Install whole home surge protector at the main panel. Run & install 20amp circuit to the garage. Installed a 20amp GFI outlet. Performed a thorough walk through with the customer and signed for approval. We then received payment.

For this job, I came to look at a system that was not cooling. Once I arrived, I hooked on my gauges, and immediately noticed that the system was completely out of refrigerant. I gave the customer an estimate to perform a nitrogen leak and she agreed. I proceeded to pump the system with nitrogen to properly test each joint and the indoor and outdoor coil to detect where the leak can be coming from. After a thorough analysis I was able to determine the leak is from the indoor coil. I explained to the customer that due to the supply house being closed I wouldn’t be able to give an accurate estimate for that coil but tomorrow morning I will be giving a call to update the customer.
