For this job I came to look at a system, which was making a noise. Once I arrived I noticed that the outdoor unit condenser fan motor was not spinning and was very hot to the touch. I found a failed capacitor. Once I inspected the indoor unit and all of its components, I noticed that there was a bad blower cap and failing blower motor. I proceeded to run my inspection camera through the heat exchanger and found a crack. Due to the age of the system and all of the repairs needed. I highly recommend that the customer considers looking into a new system. She agreed and we will have an install supervisor come out Monday to give a free estimate for a new system. I also stated to customer that if she does decide to get a system through us $98 will be credited to the system .

SERVICE CALL: Upon arrival homeowner stated the hvac system is not working properly on cooling mode. After complete troubleshooting I found the 3 1/2 ton heat pump Lennox 2 years old contractor grade Test all thermostat test zone controls check supply plenums is sealed Test indoor air handler the blower motor is psc check the evaporator Coil unit is contractor grade NO TE FLOOD PROTECTION. Test outdoor Heat pump unit test all electrical components ok test refrigerant charge Pressures are not accurate due to partial restriction at indoor evaporator Coil. Performed 1 system cooling diagnostics on the upstairs AC system. I found that the breaker was tripped due to a grounded compressor. I showed the grounded compressor to the homeowner and toned it out with my electrical meter in front of him. I also found that the system was out of warranty (10 years old/ not registered with carrier). I also found that the air filter was dirty. The system is short on return air (no returns in several of the bedrooms). The contactor is humming and many fail in the near future. The upstairs system also needs updated flood protection. I advised the homeowner about all of the issues and advised him that he should consider replacing the system. Homeowner declined and moved forward with the band aid option (compressor and refrigerant replacement only). Homeowner declined to get an estimate for replacing the system. I replaced the compressor and filter drier. I pressure tested the system. I pulled a deep vacuum and added all fresh refrigerant. I ran the syst

Tested system not cooling for upstairs level. Found failed capacitor causing the outdoor unit to not turn on. Today we completed the bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running. This included replacing capacitor, contactor and cleaning condenser coils. After repairs we tested system fully and no failures at this time.

Deep cleaned outside condenser and replaced wet switch. Provided 16 x 25x1 air filter and treated drain line. System running good.

Flu vent using wrong pipe for first 2 feet connected to furnace. Quoted to replace with Flex B vent pipe Changed air filter. Added a clear out port and treated drain line. Deep cleaned condenser and added 410a to proper superheat and subcooling levels. Tested heat and working well.

Found no hot water as well as an issue with the powder room lavatory faucet upon arrival. Found the water heater was set to pilot set temperature range on water heater. when inspecting the water heater, found a leak on a copper pipe above the water heater behind the HVAC ducting. Replaced leaking copper pipe as well as lavatory faucet and angle stops tested repairs with no leaks at this time.

Performed customer 1 system hvac inspection ac spring check Customer recently changed (16x25x1) Did full evaluation of ac unit today. Blower wheel is dirty, blower motor is failing there is a lot of oil leaking from the windings inside the cabinet, blower motor capacitor did test ok. The blower motor is over amping, it’s pulling very hard due to older duct system. There is a duct run that connects to bathroom that was not connected and has been venting in attic. Drain line lays flat across attic and does not have good elevation to drain properly. Return plenum is in bad shape unit is under supplied on both return and supply duct work. Checked outdoor system, capacitor ok and contractor tested ok. Refrigerant levels showed liquid line head pressure is high in a cool day of 72 degrees. Repair pvc sewer line 3’ deep in front yard due to tree root intrusion. Replace 50 gallon gas water heater located in garage and bring it up to plumbing code standards.

Change to tub spout with the diverterfor customer

Installed customer supplied wall connector. Conduit to desired location

Replace mismatch , and oversized breakers, separate neutral, wire tap in panel arcing behind panel and panel inspection needed

Home care visit, upon inspection of the home noticed a couple areas needing attention. Also, went off the inspection report. Caulked all fixtures, pulled reset, shimmed and caulked, j/j toilet, replaced dishwasher tailpiece with extension tube basement kitchen, sanded and painted main gas line and meter, replaced vacuum breaker on front right hosebibb, insulated water heater. Tested fixtures, no leaks.
