Troubleshooting the affected areas with no power
Called out to replace tub spout in hallway bathroom gave estimate customer agreed removed old tub spout that was not diverting properly installed new customer supplied tested no leaks at this time
Arrived on site, homeowner pointed me to water heater that has been leaking. Put in a brand new 50 gallon gas water heater as well as bringing it up to code. Removed copper gas lines and ran it in trac pipe. Also installed brand new expansion tank and mounted it properly. Everything has been tested and inspected. No leaks and everything works as it should be.
Called out for backed up line between washer/dryer in garage car port to the kitchen sink, ran water in kitchen sink and cycle in washer to recreate the issue and water began to come up and bubble in the kitchen sink, ran medium sewer machine through drain line in car port line is open and flowing blockage was rust and hair Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
Shop elite troubleshoot for landlord. Isolated the main service and the meter did not move once I opened the main shut off in the crawlspace. The meter started spinning and I could hear water overhead. The water seem to be coming from a bathroom group that ended up being the guest bathroom. I went into the bathroom and could hear the toilet running so I shut the supply stop off and went and checked the meter and it stopped spinning. I spoke to the landlord and she asked me to email her quote to replace the toilet.
We arrived today we performed an inspection of the facility so that they can get power restored to it. We found multiple open taps in the ceiling area that need to be closed up in junction boxes. We also found a couple of abandoned whips which need to be removed or boxes placed on them. Last there are four track lights that each one of them has an open tap on them instead of the wire being installed in the track light itself. They’re just tapped on top of the ceiling grid. After talking with him, he said that he would just abandon those so I’ve put a troubleshoot on the estimate to find that wire and discontinue it from the electrical panel. I attached an estimate for all of the work to be done, including pulling the permit with Forest Park. If you have any questions about the estimate, feel free to give me a call anytime. Thank you, Brandon
No heat. Upon arrival found system off on thermal lockout. Checked electrical components, checked heat exchanger, checked safeties, checked filter. Found bad control board, cracked heat exchanger, and burnt graphite igniter. Quoted repairs and recommended replacing system as it is 32 years old and has a major failure. Customer had second system that was not operating properly, Goodman furnace from 2020 with a dirty flame sensor. Quoted repairs, customer opted in to have flame sensor cleaned. Made repair and Goodman furnace is now operational.
Customer called us out for a clogged kitchen sink. On arrival the clog was cleared. Customer asked us to check if sewage was coming from a pipe in the back yard. I tested all the fixtures in the home and water did not come out of it. While testing I noticed two leaks in the water supply line. Service will be seeing if it was an installation error on their end tomorrow. I also noticed the toilet had a high pitched noise and was older and the tub was clogged. I recommended replacing the toilet and clearing the tub. Customer agreed. I ran the tub gun down the drain and removed hair from the cross section. Tub ran well. I then removed the toilet and saw that the flange was below grade. I talked to the customer and adjusted the price to fix the flange. I then reset the new toilet. Tested and cleaned both the toilet and tub. I was also going to hook up the customers stopper but it was not the right faucet for that kind of stopper.
As we arrived today, Noah wanted us to inspect the house because he had had a lot of less more recently done throughout the house, including a new service and electrical panel. We replaced an incorrect breaker in the electrical panel. There was a 20 amp breaker installed in a place that had number 14 wire coming to it. We installed a 15 amp proper breaker and everything worked properly. We installed a GFCI receptacle beside the washer in the laundry room. Installed a customer supplied weatherproof box, GFCI and weatherproof cover on the back deck. Also installed a new weatherproof box, GFCI and weatherproof cover on the front porch that was not customer supplied. Last week labeled all breakers in the panel except for a couple that we could not find. Everything in the house is working properly. I’m leaving an estimate attached to the email for installing the new light fixture in the back porch once you have purchased it. It was great meeting you today, Noah! If we can ever help you wit
Both technicians were very professional and knowledgeable about what needed to be done to get the job done. Thanks!
