Removed three handle shower valve that was leaking. Installed new single handle thermostatic mixing valve. Installed trim for shower valve. Checked for leaks. No leaks. Removed old ruptured thermal expansion tank. Replaced with new mini expansion tank. Checked for leaks. No leaks. Found many issues with tankless water heater that was previously installed. Found incorrect size for gas line, and no pressure fittings for exhaust line. Advise customer of the risk of inappropriate fittings and gas lines.

Completed a troubleshoot for a house that was struck by lighting.

Inspected for issue. Found that the disposal was jammed. Replaced jammed disposal with new 1/2 hp disposal. Attached to existing tubular drains. Sink is double trapped. Garage lights

Performed a Homecare maintenance inspection on both systems (main floor and upstairs office mini split/garage mini split). Tested both cooling and heating from the thermostat. Measured refrigerant pressures and electrical components. Inspected the safety and cleanliness of the systems. Cleared drain line with 2 gallons of water. Cleaned filters for garage mini split. Reported findings to the customer. Added a wet switch under warranty (we didn’t install wet switches with new systems previously, now we do). Cleaned the condenser coil and added a Superboost kit for the main floor system.

Toilet down stairs is not flushing properly, checked ejector pump pit to see that the ejector pump has failed. Installed a bidet and cleared out 2 shower drains with tub gun

For this job customer had removed smoke detectors and carbon combos from the ceilings. Smokes where 2 years old so we replaced the batteries and installed them back on the ceiling. Then we replaced the garage carbon combo with a new one due to being 10 years old.

Rewired a small chandelier.

Diagnose reason water’s in the pan. HomeCare 1 Renewal Arrived to water in the drain pan. Removed washable MERV 11 filter with disposable filter. Dried wet switch, cleaned water in pan, treated and verified drain clear. Checked charge numbers look good. Advised customer to get MERV 8 if he’s going to use washable filters.

Came to do quoted $1356 repairs on main floor. Before starting repairs confirmed with customer we still wanted to do them on a 22 year old system. After having a few days to think about it and our conversation upon arrival the customer decided to forgo repairs and instead get a quote for replacement. She also informed me the upstairs unit was now struggling. I said let’s get you switched over for the quote and I’ll take a look at the upstairs for $98 service call fee. Upon inspection of upstairs unit found heat exchanger has hot spots, minimal flood protection dirty ac and a borderline dual capacitor. Customer choose to do ac cleaning today. While performing inspection on upstairs unit. Did not realize my gauges were leaking refrigerant at the liquid line. Charged unit up at no cost to customer. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today.

cooling issue with system. During my thorough evaluation I discovered that the application for the furnace was not good because it can’t vent properly, there isn’t a flood pan under the coil in the crawl space, the airflow cannot be set up correctly because the ductwork is too small for the system, and the txv has failed closed and is causing the system to freeze. We can perform repairs on the ac to get it working but the system may be too large and unless another type of furnace is installed the venting issue won’t be able to be corrected. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

No cool. Found thermostat had no power. Found condensate pump failed and filled with water, tripping safety and causing thermostat to turn off. Customer states they have already been told there is a leak and it needs to be replaced. Supervisor will visit 7/22 8-10 to quote replacement
