For this job, I worked on replacing an electric 50 gallon water heater with a new 50 gallon Rheem electric. With a 10 year warranty an ion 6. Went ahead cleaned and tested for leaks.
Tech was out for cooling. Electricity in basement outlet that goes to condensation pump is not working. Customer plugged in extension cord to condensation pump. Tech continued checking rest of system out. No safety switch on evaporator coil no wet switch and drain pan. Blower wheel is needing to be cleaned. Outdoor unit is needing to be chemically cleaned outdoor disconnect pullout is broke. This needs to be replaced electrical whip going to disconnect and condenser is needing to be replaced due to wire showing. while checking pressures tech seen residue around Suction line found suction line leaking refrigerant. This is caused by improper installation. Tech would need to remove service valve and properly install suction line. Would need to added Freon to system after repairs are done to proper manufacturer requirements. Spoke with customer abut issues tech came a crossed. Customer just had ac replaced in 2024 and is reaching out to company before making any decisions on repairs. Also

Troubleshoot power to tripping circuit breaker
Great service
Arrived on site for a 2 zone Lennox heat pump not cooling! Both thermostats had power and were sending calls for cooling but the DAT sensor was locked out and reading 34 degrees, restricting the compressor from coming on. The DAT sensor was installed right on the evaporator which is improperly placed and will give low DAT readings, causing lockouts. Unfortunately there wasn’t a good spot on the supply plenum to place the sensor and we ended up reconfiguring the thermostat so avoid needing DAT confirmation for usage of the equipment. We tested in cooling and quickly dropped the indoor temp from 72 to 69 with a 20 degree temp split and good refrigerant pressures! We cleaned up, took photos and emailed invoices upon completion.
Replaced light fixture over dining room table

Arrived on site to provide options for installing exit lights and outlets for equipment. We provided and installed 4 new exit signs in the car wash. Owner provided blueprints for where these signs needed to be located. We came off the existing exit sign for power. We installed all new wiring and made all new connections for each exit sign. We also installed new wiring for the washing machine. Since the panel doesn’t have any extra spaces, we came off an existing circuit. We also installed power for a shed on the outside of the building. We installed the wiring, installed conduit, and installed new outlet for the emission machine. The washer and emission machine are both GFCI protected. We labeled the existing panel so that the exit signs are clearly labeled. We tested the exit signs to make sure they come on in case of a power outage. We also tested both GFCI outlets and they are working as they should. Everything is working upon departure.

Customer had two issues happening with their home. In the garage, there appeared to be nails that ran into a sewer stack. As well in the entrance of the home in a coat closet, there was staining at the top and bottom of the wall. Customer agreed to have have must do the sewer line repair as well as agreed for us to open up the walls to inspect and locate the leak inside of the coat closet. It got approximately one foot by five foot of sheetrock to expose the bad sewer pipe and replaced approximately five foot of three inch sewer pipe. Afterward, we turned the water on hot inside of the bathroom above and allowed to run to see if anything was leaking. Made adjustments and no more leaks. Afterwards, we cut three separate holes in the coat. Closet to finally find the leak above head in the ceiling. There were two of them, one on the hot side and cold side. Customer agreed for us to replace both hot and cold down to the pedestals, sink plumbing in the wall. Did so by turning the water off t
Cleared a blockage in main floor ( 2nd floor) powder room toilet. Toilet was gurgling after running fixtures on 3 rd floor. Basement toilet was not being affected and cleanout outside was not holding water. Upon arrival we were able to clear blockage by pulling toilet in powder room. When pulling toilet we noticed it had a cracked flange. Informed customer that sewer supervisor will give him quote on flange fix. We were able to clear blockage with k400 cable. For this job, the customer found the water heater showing code 70, and not working. The unit works when you reset it, but goes back to code 70 randomly. I called rinnia tech support, and they found the pcb bored has failed, and needs to be replaced. They are sending parts under warranty to our shop, and we are coming out next Friday to install. Thank you for choosing TE Certified.
Performed a Homecare maintenance inspection on all 3 HVAC systems in the home (upstairs, main floor, basement). Tested heating and cooling from the thermostats. Measured the refrigerant pressures and electrical component readings. Inspected the safety and cleanliness of the systems. Checked and replaced the 1” air filters. Reported findings to the customer. Customer approved to install two wet switches and perform a coil cleaning. Installed a wet switch on the upstairs system and tested operation. Cleaned the condenser for the upstairs system and tested operation. Attempted to install a wet switch on the basement unit, but the switch itself was bad. This was the last switch on the truck, and the customer said she would reach out in the future to install the downstairs switch. Reported results to the customer.

This job I conducted leak detection services for homeowner throughout my investigation and discovered that the homeowner has extremely high pressure on his plumbing system. His PRV has failed his water pressures is over 120 psi his TMP on his water heater has failed and is constantly evacuating water out of the side of the home. still, I isolated the main service between the main shut off in the basement and the meter and there did appear to be a very, very small leak. I put compressed air on the line and listen along the line. However, the homeowner lives on a busy main road with an industrial complex less than a mile away due to the heavy traffic and the size of the leak. I was not able to locate it. The homeowner advised me. He was not really concerned about the leak on the main service. He just wants to get the water heaters and PRV taken care of. He advised that he would once he gets that taken care of. He would keep an eye on his next three bills, and if he noticed an uptake afte

One time home inspection on one system with 2 zones. Filter is clean, drain lines cleared clear and both zones and thermostats working properly. System is 3 years old only, well maintained and working properly at this visit. Recommend to install a blue tube uv light, to give better air quality to the house, and to protect the equipment from building up biological growth and mold. Also an in line switch in the drain lines, to prevent water in the drain pan, in case of drain line get clogged. Customer is moving out the house and will think about it.

Cole at TE Certified did a great job at installing my ceiling fan.
Andrew was polite, honest and helpful and went above and beyond to try to fix the issue.
The TE Techs are very well trained knowledgeable. Prior to TE Certified I had 6 service calls for the same issue days apart via home warranty with 2 different companies. Neither company could accurately diagnose the problem. In one visit the tech accurately diagnose the problem, showed photo evidence of the problem and provide options. The tech explained all the options in detail. He provided me with enough information to make an informed decision. The estimated repair cost was market average. They honor returning clients with a discount.
