Inspected the upstairs HVAC system and built options for resolving issues.

For this job we installed a 3.5 ton Rheem full system with a bump box. We removed the zoning, added a media cabinet, and attached existing plenums back to the system. We repaired a broken drain line, replaced the drain safeties with new ones, and tested that they worked as intended. Replaced gas pipes and flue vents, ensuring that there was no leaks. Brazed the copper lines, leak tested, vacuumed to under 500 microns and charged to manufacturer specifications. We insulated the copper lines and added UV cover from the outdoor to the house. Unit is currently working.

Inspected the whole home HVAC system that is displaying a humidity error. Checked the thermostat and air handler. Found dog hair clumped to the bottom of the thermostat. Removed the face of the thermostat and cleaned the debris off the bottom. Thermostat turned on and properly displayed humidity. Tested operation and reported findings to the customer.

Inspected the system displaying a humidity error at the main floor thermostat.

I was able to recreate the error code 10 after asking client to turn in all three bathtubs in the hot side. I used a camera to inspect the concentric venting and found no obstructions. Water pressure was within normal operating range and the unit has an external recirculating pump which I unplugged to confirm that it was not causing the error code. Rinnai technical support recommends pulling and cleaning the heat exchanger and inducer/draft motor.

Upstairs system faulted from blown capacitor. Replaced with 70/10 turbo and replaced 45/5 on main floor. Found outdoor condenser coil leaking refrigerant and was able to evacuate, weld hi,e and pressure test, bring down to 500 microns and charged 9lbs.

Performed a Homecare maintenance inspection on the whole home HVAC system (zoned for the upstairs and main floor). Tested heating, cooling and zoning from the thermostats. Measured the refrigerant pressures and electrical component readings. Inspected the safety and cleanliness of the system. Checked and replaced the 1” air filter, but it is a very specific size (16 3/8 x 21 x 1). Cleared the drain line with 2 gallons of water. Reported findings to the customer. Replaced the weak 45/5 dual capacitor. Tested to ensure it has the proper readings and the system functions properly. Took apart the A/C and cleaned the condenser coil. Rinsed off the unit with water and removed debris from inside the heat pump. Soaked with coil cleaner and then rinsed off again, tested operation and reported findings to the customer.

Found leaking connection on poly pipe in bathroom. Whole home has poly pipes. Recommend replacement of all water lines. Water heater past life expectancy. Recommend replacing water heater. No warranty on leak repair for gray poly.

Met with Sharon, the daughter of the homeowner. She told me the kitchen outlets and dryer were not working. They are having a bathroom renovated and she said when they plugged in their extension cords to the outlets the outlets stopped working along with her dryer. I inspected the panel, outlets, and breakers and found that one of the outlets had tripped. I also found that the workers had unplugged the dryer to plug in a battery pack for their tools. I reset the breaker. While I was inspecting the panel I noticed one of the breakers was a little melted and the bus bar showed signs of burning. I showed this to Sharon and explained the dangers of the panel. I gave her an estimate to replace the panel and she said she would have to talk with her brother about it. I tested all the outlets on the circuit that was previously not working to make sure they were working properly. I then tidied up and left everything they way I found it.

Changed water heater PRV and put in a halo H2 zero ultimate

Customer wanted a valve installed for refrigerator in the garage. I was able to tee off of cold water line to tankless. Strapped new pex line and utilized icemaker valve with hammer arrestor. Strapped to wall and insulated. Pressurized system and checked connections. Thank You For Choosing TE Certified Plumbing

Inspect dock for electrical safety.

NO cool on the upstairs system due to a leak in the evaporator coil. Gave price to replace evaporator coil only and set a lead to quote upgrading for the upstairs system. System is 5 years old , builder grade, and had lots of issues in the past. Possible other parts can go bad, since system has been working low on Freon. Added two lbs of Freon, so customer will have cooling for a while, until they decided what’s the next step. Due to many issues this system is giving, Highly recommend to upgrade and get warranty back to the system, and house more comfort.

Pulled up toilet to clear main line blockage , ran my 400 down the line to blockage , just started realizing the issue this morning

Troubleshoot no power in garage and install new whole house surge protector

Replace customer supplied smoke detectors and replaced faulty breaker

For this job we replaced customer supplied smoke/carbon combo detectors in the newly finished basement. Other detectors where set off when sanding was being completed in the basement. Could not get them to stay off after everything had calmed down.

Cleared a toilet blockage using closet auger.

Performed 1 system cooling diagnostic on the mainfloor 2020 carrier system. I found that the outdoor unit had a failed capacitor and I found that both outdoor units were dirty. With the homeowners permission I replaced the failed capacitor and cleaned both outdoor units. I also replaced the air filters. I verified that both Ac systems were operating at the end of service call. The mainfloor AC systems refrigerant pressures within the manufactures specifications. I emailed an estimate to update the homeowner AC systems flood protection for both systems.
