Restored water to the home. Bled all the air out of the system

Perform one system diagnostic for main level system. Found thermostat for main level blank, found dirty, blower wheel, no access to clear drain lines, improper pitch, no TE flood protection, and a dirty condenser. Upon further inspection of the thermostat, found a failed Trane thermostat. customer wanted to replace with nest thermostat. Did offer home care and create estimates for other repairs as well. Customer would like to discuss with husband about home care and go over all other findings.

Troubleshooting no power to half the house

Perform one system no cool for upstairs unit. Found dirty blower, blower motor draw on high amps, no TE protection, ductwork, not sealed, dirty filter, drain line with improper pitch and improper strapping, outdoor pressure switch is failed, TE replaced contactor and capacitor. Due to age of unit and cost of repairs customer would like to replace upstairs unit. The main level unit is eight years old however customer may be interested in replacing the main unit as well to get everything up to code and under warranty. Payment collected, and TGL scheduled for Friday march 13 2 to 5. Unit is not operational at this time advised customer to use fan to circulate air. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Troubleshot tripping office and master bedroom breakers. Checked connections and voltages at the panel and the rooms. Tried to replicate the tripping but was unable to. We plugged in the vacuum and was able to trip the breaker. They had a surge recently and it caused the breaker to trip infrequently ever since. The two breakers were replaced for new arc fault 15s and everything was tested and working great without tripping. If tripping continues afterwards, they were advised to Redevice the circuit as all of the wiring connections were back stabbed and that is the next step to repair.

Upstairs system: 3 ton straight cool system with only a 5kw heat strip. Air handler installed backwards in attic making it very difficult to service and maintenance. No flood protection on system. Low of 410a. A heat pump system is recommended to provide a more energy, efficient and safer way to heat the home in the winter. No filter was found in air handler on visit. ***** SAFETY CAUTION***** Downstairs system : 3 ton furnace system. Flu pipe expands to 8” and then goes horizontal for approximately 40 to 50 feet and runs into chimney stack. Increasing the flu pipe size plus running it horizontally, and then into the chimney allows the flu gases to cool before escaping out of home unable to vent excess carbon monoxide to potentially unsafe levels in home. The solution is to install a 90% furnace and run PVC outside of home to vent. Both thermostats for home do not engage system and need to be replaced.

Installed Prv, reset disposal, secured hosebibb, fixed rear hose Bibb, insulated water lines in garage, insulated water heater in garage, drained house, installed Prv, pressurized house, purged air out of lines, insulated waterlines for main and water heater, tagged valves, secured garage hosebibb, cleaned out and reset disposal, tested fixtures, no leaks.

Gave quote on tankless water heater. Customer went with a 75 gallon tank instead pre-sold for next Thursday.

AG 3000 Intermatic surge protection on all systems. Home care for all four systems. Cleaned air filters on ceiling cartridges for apartment. Replaced air filters customer supplied for main house. Homeowner to replace basement system did not have filter at this time. All systems heating and cooling well with no issues.

Installing a gfci on the switch leg of a bathroom exhaust fan and replacing the exhaust fan

This job I conducted lead detected services for homeowner and discovered leak midway and yard roughly 6 feet off of the left side of the driveway area has been marked with flags. I quoted the homeowner for a water service replacement. She asked if I could roll that into a quote for a whole home re-pipe.

Customer had a garbage disposal that was leaking from the bottom. Customer ended up supplying us with a new 1/2 horse power badger 5 insinkerator , after installing the disposal works normally with no leaks and no backups present

Replaced kitchen chandelier for LED fixture and replaced light bulb outside

Had to run to warehouse to get a 20x25x1 air filter. Changed filter, treated drain line and checked refrigerant levels. Changed capacitor today it was testing at 80%.
