Job Locations and Reviews
1 system homecare inspection, checked refrigerant levels, refrigerant levels look good in both heat mode and AC mode, checked capacitors, also checked amp draw of all components, air handler does not have secondary transformer for zone board, recommended adding secondary transformer for zone board to prevent further issues with the system, flushed drain line, checked amp draw of heat strips, felt T temperature drop looks good, customer stated she would review estimates and get back with us for repairs. Also recommended TE standard flood protection to prevent water damage from occurring. Also recommended UV lights as there is some biological growth inside of air handler
No cooling call, upon arrival customer stated that she tried to change or own thermostat and system stopped working after attempting to replace thermostat, system had a blown 3 amp fuse, replaced 3 amp fuse, tested system operation as well as set nest learning thermostat up for customer, checked refrigerant levels, Freon levels look good, flushed 2 gallons of water down drain line, checked capacitor and found that dual capacitor is reading out of tolerance, recommended replacing capacitor to prevent future breakdowns, drain lines pitch is also not very great, recommended correcting fall on drain line, also recommended UV lights to help improve indoor air quality of the home. Customer decided to move forward with dual capacitor, replaced 40/5 dual capacitor, tested system operation, system is cooling properly at this time.
Today, as we arrived, we found a strip light in the kitchen ceiling that was not working. Power was going to the light properly, but the ballast inside the light was defective. After talking it over it was decided that we would replace the light with a new LED fixture. After returning from the supply house, we removed the existing fixture and replaced it with a new LED strip light. Once all connections were made, the light worked properly. It’s very nice to meet you today! If we can ever help you with anything else, please let us know. Thank you, Brandon and Nylan
1/2” copper water line in crawlspace has a pinhole in it. Cut out and replaced small section with copper. Pressurized system, no other leaks found at this time.
Nice guy
Came out today to complete one system HVAC water in the drain pan service call. Upon arrival, customer showed me a drain pan that was about half full of water and at this time the float was not activated. The customer figured this out when he went to change his filter for the air handler. Upon today’s visit, customer approved system diagnostic. During the inspection of the system found a 2022 carrier air handler 4 ton with two different zone for the inside, and a 2022 carrier 4 ton heat pump single stage for the outside. During the inspection I found the system is low on airflow. It currently has 1300 CFM’s of return and 1400 CFM‘s of supply if both dampers are open. There is currently no bypass damper, which is recommended for a pressure relief when only one zone is operational. During the inspection also found that the drain line was clogged and slow to drain, there is currently biological growth on the inside of the air handler on the evaporator coil, there is no UV protection on th
Replaced burnt outlet and skin back wires
Arrived at home to address no cool. I started at the condenser and immediately found that unit was not running. I opened up the system and immediately checked the capacitor on the fan side it was completely dead on the herb side. It was reading about 10 microphones below rating. Recommendations: – replace capacitor Capacitor was replaced. I checked the amperage of the compressor to see if they haven’t stressed out from the Pastor, but compressor was ramping within range. Unit is now operating and all is cooling. Unit is still not operating to the most efficient capability. The condenser oil and blower wheel are both slightly dirty. I would recommend a cleaning for both. I let system for about 30 mins to check pressures and unit is operating to manufacture specifications
Came out today to perform one system HVAC no cool service call. On arrival customer stated that the upstairs system was blowing, but it would only blow warm air. At this time, customer approved full system diagnostic. During the inspection, I found that the outdoor system would not come on when called for. At this time, the issues with the system is the outdoor capacitor has failed completely, the contactor is burnt/ pitted, the condenser coil is dirty. Once in the attic, I found that the airflow for this system is low on both the supply and return, the blower will has build up, there is no UV protection, and there is no TE standard flood protection on this system. On today’s visit, customer only approved Band-Aid repair with no warranty. At this time system is back on and working. See estimates for any additional concerns.
Flood light replacement
Arrived at customers home for a no cool call. Customer stated that air was blowing, but not cold. Upon inspection the upstairs unit (#1) was on and operating as it should. Upon going outside to inspect condenser(one on left) I immediately noticed that the condenser fan was not running. I didn’t check the contactor and capacitor and found that the capacitor was dead on the fan side and very low on the capacitor side. Customer also asked me to take a look at the other unit just so that the same issue did not arise. The capacitor for that unit was reading exactly as it was rated. However, the contactor was reading at 21 indicating that although it is operating currently it is bad and will go out soon. Customer was made aware that she does not have TE standard Protection and has elected to not get it.
