Airflow Diagnostic & System Evaluation Summary Came out because the customer was concerned about insufficient airflow and uneven temperatures in certain areas of the home. After performing a full diagnostic inspection of the HVAC equipment, thermostat location, and existing duct system, I found multiple airflow and duct-design issues contributing to the comfort concerns. The home is currently conditioned by a twinned Trane furnace system, consisting of two gas furnaces operating together through a shared duct system with one central air-conditioning system. The furnaces are: * Trane Model: TUD1B100A9451AA * Furnace #1 Serial: 7231UCN1G * Furnace #2 Serial: 631420B1G * 100,000 BTU input per furnace * Approximately 80,000 BTU output per furnace * Approximately 80% AFUE * Combined heating input: approximately 200,000 BTU * Combined heating output: approximately 160,000 BTU * Maximum listed external static pressure: 0.50” w.c. * Cooling system utilizes R-410A refrigerant Because both

Customer called about a leaking fixture underneath kitchen sink. TE arrived and found that the handle on angle stop to dishwasher is leaking at a slow rate. Advsided to replace. Replaced angle stop and tested for leaks. NO Leaks. Customer asked about a sewer smell whenever dishwasher is ran. Inspected crawlspace and found that kitchen drains were installed incorrectly. Found bidet toilet didn’t have enough pressure to flush. Prv was replaced a year ago, checked pressure and it was at 50 psi. Turned pressure up to 60 and toilet started flushing correctly. Both showers were dripping. Replaced the cartridge in both showers to get water to stop dripping. Tested everything. Shower in master has wrong face plate so is not sealing against wall properly.

August in Ga is no joke. When I accidentally pulled the cord out from our compressor I panicked but TE sent out Rey within the hour to reconnect and he was amazing! Rey called me immediately to assure that I had turned off the breaker and when he arrived he was very patient and informative. He walked/talked me through everything he was doing and reconnected my unit in no time! I will definitely be requesting Rey in the future! Thank you Rey.

This job I came to look at a system that was not working due to the customer accidentally ripping the low-voltage wires for the outdoor unit. I proceeded to turn off the power and properly reconnect all of the wiring. The wiring reconnected properly with tape and unit unit test everything to ensure that it was working. I noticed that the customer can use an upgrade and flood protection as well as a P-trap. I explained all my findings to the customer as well as provided estimates. Thank you so much for choosing TE certified.

Customer called about an issue with a tankless water heater. Customer stated that the unit started beeping all of a sudden. TE arrived and found unit to be covered in vines. Home has a dual tankless system. Left unit had no issues and was set at 120F. Code 11 was present on control panel of right unit. Cleared vines and found some inside unit as well. Reset unit and error code did not reappear. Reached out to Rinnai tech support and was advised to clean unit. Unit was manufactured on October 2014 and is about 12 years old. Due to age and location of installation a replacement is advised. Customer stated they will prepare for replacement when unit gets another error code or issue.

Came up today to perform one system HVAC no cool service call. Upon arrival met handyman on site. Customer approved diagnostic over system. At this time found a 2022 run true air handler and a 2022 run true three time heat pump. Upon initial inspection, found that the breaker located on the system was in the off position, not sending any power to turn on the system. During the full evaluation, found that the filter is very compacted with sheet rock dust, the drain line for the system is also tied to the drain pan line which has a high probability of flooding inside of the drain pan, the flood protection for the drain pan is broken and may or may not activate if pan fills with water, on startup of the outdoor compressor it is over amping pulling 84.07 Amps when it is only rated for 72.2 A, at this time, there is no TE standard flood protection for the equipment. At this time, customer will be reviewing estimates. Upon completion left thermostat exactly where I found it and system is bac

No cooling call, upon arrival tenant stated that there was someone out a couple days ago and they added refrigerant to the system, checked refrigerant levels and found that systems refrigerant levels look good however there is 19 year old nordyne evaporator coil(original to the home) evaporator coil was not replaced when condenser was replaced, there is also 2.5 ton condenser with a 3.5 ton evaporator coil, ducts and supply grilles also have a lot of biological growth on them, recommended replacing ducts as well as replacing system due to the age of system, ducts have biological growth due to improper installation, ductwork and system will need to be replaced to prevent this issue from happening again, recommended having install supervisor out to quote replacement of the systems, systems also had filters in both return grilles and at filter rack, ther should only be 1 filter installed to prevent biological growth inside of the system quoted blower wheel cleaning and adding flood protec

Troubleshoot electrical issue. ISSUE: partial power loss LOCATION: living room bathroom hallway FINDINGS: breaker was dead shorting upon trying to reset. I tested continuity between hot and ground and was getting a positive reading. I removed all devices on affected circuit and found that all devices were installed in small metal boxes with no tape around devices. There were also a couple wires with damaged insulation in the boxes. Unrelated to the tripping breaker, I noticed the panel was a split buss panel. It also had burn damage to the buss bar. RESOLUTION: I left estimates to redevice the circuit to correct issues. I was unable to perform fix today due to the panel not having adequate space for the required arc fault breaker. I left estimates to replace the damaged panel as well

Major problem with the power company shutting off all power to my home due to deteriorating wiring that was a serious fire hazard. Problem was resolved by Enrique and Evan with TE Certified Electrical, Plumbing, Heating and Cooling in just about 24 hours time. This included identifying the problems, outlining the required services to solve the problems, and then doing the extensive work. It also included managing the requirement of communicating with the County inspection service to approve the repairs, and then being in touch with the power company to restore power to my home. I am very grateful to have found such reliable and efficient service so that I could return to a fully functional home in just about 24 hours time.

As usual, my recent experience was professional, friendly, and educational. Ben arrived on time and promptly got to work. He confirmed that the problem with the generator 'seemed' to be related to the battery error messages I had received, but went the extra step to check to see that there were not other problems causing the faulty battery messages. Nope, just a very old battery. He had the required replacement on his truck; and in a few minutes the new battery was installed and a test cycle had been completed. Great service!
