Returned to replace evaporator coil In the air handler for the whole home. Replaced coil, pressure tested new coil with nitrogen, vacuumed system to 300 microns, and charged system to manufacture specifications. Installed wet switch in pan and tested for proper function. System is now cooling the home to its best ability given the application. This system is single-stage, builder-grade equipment and is not designed to support a zoned application. Installing zoning on this type of system can lead to improper operation, increased wear, and premature equipment failure. Zoning systems are best suited for equipment with fully variable-speed or modulating capabilities, which can adjust output to match the varying demands of multiple zones. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified, have a great weekend!

Only System - Not Cooling System not cooling due to multiple install related issues. Today I observed that the TXV is getting stuck closed causing the system to freeze. On top of that the coil is rusted out and has a slow leak, the system is not low enough on refrigerant to freeze just from refrigerant levels but with the metering device it functioning properly the system was freezing at the Evap coil and suction line on the outdoor unit. Due to this equipment being an improper application, I recommended updating this system with daikin fit equipment. At this time the home wants to move forwar

Arrived on site to quote installing a customer supplied Tesla charger. After looking at the options, we discussed several options with the homeowner. The homeowner decided to come off the existing sub panel in the carport. We had to swap two breakers in the sub panel for twin breakers to make space for the Tesla charger. We installed a new 60 amp rated wire for this circuit. We mounted the Tesla charger in the closet next to the sub panel. We set up the car charger via the Tesla app. We did have to replace the breaker controlling the sub panel due to the wire feeding the sub panel being #2 aluminum. We installed a new 90 amp breaker for this circuit. We did inform the homeowner that the breaker for the sub panel may trip. If this occurs, we need to either upsize the wire feeding the sub panel, or put a smaller breaker in for the EV charger. I discussed several options for upgrading the homes electrical system with the homeowner. Everything is working upon completion.

Homeowner mentioned that system was completely empty on refrigerant a year ago. He had somebody fill it with refrigerant then. During inspection of today’s visit, noticed system to be very low on refrigerant again. System was still partially iced over, and the pressure switches were not shutting the unit down. An estimate has been attached for potential minimum repairs needed. After discussion, the decision was made to add refrigerant for now and speak about further options with the project manager, considering the potential costs of trying to fix this unit. Homeowner has had nothing but issues with the system since the house was built. Old water stains on the ceiling from the drain pan, not fully covering the air handler. System also does not have any water safeties.System operational upon departure. Thank you for choosing TE certified!

For this call, we returned today for a pre-sold call from yesterday to install a new halo 5, as well as replace the PRV and expansion tank. Also had to install another expansion tank for the second water heater. We set the expansion tanks to 70 PSI and strapped them to the walls and we also set the PRV to 65 PSI. For the halo, we ran the pipes through the utility closet wall and strapped them close to the ceiling ensuring everything was properly secured. We regenerated the halo multiple times to get it prepared for usage prior to testing. Afterwards, we tested all the pipes for any leaks and everything is working as it should at this time. On May 22nd, we will be returning to the home to install their RO system under the kitchen sink once the parts have ample time to arrive. Thank you for trusting TE Certified with all your plumbing needs.

For this job, the customer stated they had a concern of the micro plastics in the water, the customer opted to go with option 2 to install a halo 5, and RO system to get the micro plastics out of the water. We are returning tomorrow to install the halo 5 , and new PRV as well as the two expansion tanks.
