Installed new Rheem (6) yr warranty 50 gallon Gas water heater and customer supplied electronic anode rod. old heater was leaking from inside base onto the pan. Turned off main water supply, drained old heater, removed anode rod from new heater, installed c/s electronic anode rod, removed old heater, installed new heater, strapped expansion tank, installed bonding to hot and cold lines, connected new anode rod, turned main water supply on, purged air out of all fixtures, plugged in anode rod light solid green, lit pilot on heater, turned on and adjusted temp to 120*, educated home owner on the temperature gauge for the water heater, expansion tank pressurized to 55psi, checked after 25 min water already hotter than lukewarm. Tested fixtures, no leaks.

Replaced bath fans, installed venting to the exterior of the home, replaced SEU feeder wire with SER from meter to panel

Install new single pole decora switch in bathroom redo splices in back of boxes and make correct mechanical connections .

Replaced main water shut off valve. Returning next Tuesday to dig and repair leaking water line in yard.

For this job, we worked on installing a customer provided exhaust fan in the hallway bathroom and inspected another exhaust fan in the master bathroom.

Arrived spoke with customer. She stated system does not reach temperature in the middle of the day. Also, unit freezes. Check-in door unit found no water safeties. Water in auxiliary drain pan. Checked outdoor unit hooked up gauges. Restriction in TXV and evaporator coil. Bad dual capacitor. And failing compressor. Condenser coil is dirty. Recommend recommended system replacement due to age and repair cost.

Customer stated that he had no power in the sunroom located in his master bedroom. We recommend a troubleshoot in order to proceed with options for repair. Our findings consisted of; GFCI outlet was in the tripped position which controlled the circuit that lost power. Multiple outlets had both sets of different gauge wire. However, the breaker for the circuit was on a 20A which the 14 gauge wire is not rated for. The Main floor bathroom had no power to the outlets due to the hot jumper being capped off in the master bathroom outlet. ** this issue is under warranty due to it being overlook during a redevice** In addition to our findings we also found that the breaker for a dedicated outlet was tripping. We performed a separate troubleshoot and came up with options for that as well. We informed the customer of our findings and the possible repairs. *** NOTE: Customer wanted no major repairs for today and wanted everything put back with the small repairs.***

Performed 1 system diagnostic for upstairs unit. Found failed capacitor, no te flood protection, rusted pan, restriction and txv hunting. Customer opted for capacitor only at this time but would like estimate for an ac coil due to repair cost and being out of warranty. The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. 8-10 Friday

Replaced water heater and brought everything up to code.

Finished performing a whole home Redevice, panel replacement, new smoke detectors, surge protection, new grounding system, new outdoor outlets for fountains, and a new keyless light in the attic. Everything throughout the house has been tested and is working properly.

Replaced two bath fans and one pendant light

Today we replaced the home’s 18-year-old 50-gallon gas water heater located in the basement with a new Rheem ProG50 50-gallon gas water heater. In addition, we installed a new pressure reducing valve (PRV) and a new whole-house main shutoff valve to improve the home’s water distribution and serviceability. We also completed a rebuild of the second-floor master bathroom toilet to restore proper operation. Upon completion of all work, the plumbing system was repressurized, all fixtures were tested, and every connection was thoroughly inspected for leaks. At this time, all connections are leak-free and the water heater, plumbing system, and rebuilt toilet are operating properly. The customer is satisfied with today’s service.

I am going to wire and install four new can lights in the kitchen and remove the old fluorescent light. I am also going to install a new recessed can light in the hallway. Last I will be replacing the current recessed lights with the retrofit LED lights in the kitchen, the downstairs hallway and the upstairs hallway as well as the two in the great room. The total number will be 11. Update July 15: all lights were installed, including the four new ones in the kitchen and the new one in the hallway as well as replacing all of the current recessed lights with new retrofit recessed lights. For the great room, the holes in the ceiling were quite large, so I left the baffle in those however, when you get the sheet rock repaired, please give me a call and I will fix those to be flush like the others under your warranty. I spoke with customer she stated unit in master bedroom is not reaching temperature. Checked indoor unit. Has SS2 float switch and auxiliary panel float switch. Does not have wet switch. Checked blower wheel. Checked electrical. Checked outdoor unit. Dirty condenser coil. Found bad dual capacitor. Installed new capacitor and cycled system on. Checked amperage and pressures. System now cooling. The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today.

Troubleshoot leaking upstairs tub faucet. Will need to order 1J-H/C stems to repair. Checked ice maker line in kitchen for leaks. Line was leaking before homeowner went on vacation and a neighbor tightened it up. No longer is leaking, but line is run on 1/4” copper which may kink and leak if fridge is moved around too much. Left estimate for replacing line and putting in new stop. Left estimate for 10 year old water heater in basement. Installed leak alarm next to it for a bit of peace of mind and left estimate for replacement.

Rerouted drain line to vent stack. Installed condensate pump with trap. Replaced 16x25x1 filter. Pressure levels were normal. System is currently working.
