Troubleshoot garage, laundry, and pantry circuit

For this job I completed a 42 space electrical panel installation

Demolition and Removal of Existing Equipment: Removal and disposal of the existing air conditioning unit, gas furnace, thermostat, and any other relevant components. Proper disposal of refrigerant in accordance with EPA regulations. New Equipment Installation: Install Rheem Endeavor Line Classic Series 2-ton single-stage air conditioning unit & install matching all-aluminum cased evaporator coil. Gas Furnace: Install 80% efficient single-stage gas furnace. Install an energy-efficient, constant torque ECM fan motor. Thermostat: Install a digital/programmable thermostat compatible with the new system. System Modifications and Adaptations: Adapt existing plenums, refrigerant lines, gas lines, flue pipe, drain lines, and electrical connections as required to accommodate the new equipment. Ensure that the system is fully integrated with the existing setup. Safety Features” Install redundant flood safety protection as per the manufacturer’s specifications. Refrigerant Line Maintenance: Flush

The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today.

Completed two full system, inspections on the upstairs and the main level systems of the home. I found that the main level system was not turning on due to a failed capacitor. I found that both systems are struggling to breathe due to lack of airflow. Both units are short on return, and the main level is also short on supply. Both of the condenser coils outside are slightly dirty, and may be time to clean. Today I completed repairs on both systems, including replacing capacitor on main level and adding hard start kit to both levels. I also repaired the drain line for the upstairs level system to correct the pitch. Tested systems fully and no failures at this time.

SERVICE CALL: upon arrival homeowner stated the first floor hvac system is not working properly on cooling mode. After complete troubleshooting I found complete system is in poor maintenance conditions the system is 2 1/2 ton capacity 1996 model about 29 years old r 22 refrigerant type which is no longer available the compressor is extremely weak dual run capacitor failed is out of spec from manufacture the 2 pole contactor is pitted and making humming noise that’s indication of failure. Check the gas furnace unit is same aged 29 years old the blower motor capacitor failed is out of specs from manufacture is rated 12.5 uf and is reading 10.1 uf the blower wheel is highly impacted the gas line connection is not up to code The flex line pass trough the fire wall which is against the code the blower motor makes noise and no safety switches to prevent water damage. Condenser coil is highly impacted. Complete system already past life expectancy from manufacture which is 10 to 12 years

Found system low on refrigerant. Made sure coil wasn’t still frozen charged system up. Once charged up noticed pressures were still off. Determined the TXV was also defective. Did The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. But scheduled quote for new system.

Performed 1 system diagnostic on upstairs system. Found filter completely compacted, dirty blower, rust spots in evap coil, dirty condenser coil, failing dual capacitor, and compressor grinding and drawing high amps. Due to owner being second owner compressor was out of warranty and cost of repairs are over 5k. Recommend signing for homecare as well as replacing unit for upstairs unit. Bare minimum would be an ac and coil replacement. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

SERVICE CALL FOR RENTAL PROPERTY : upon arrival tenant stated the HVAC system is not working on cooling mode since Tuesday. After complete troubleshooting I found the complete system is in poor maintenance conditions the outdoor condenser unit 2 1/2 ton capacity R 22 refrigerant type which is already phased out by epa unit is 1998 model is about 27 years old . Check gas Furnace unit is 2007 model about 18 years old . I found the outdoor unit The 2 pole contactor failed and Dual run capacitor failed is out of spec from manufacture test thermostat and I found the wiring is wrong the thermostat was recently replaced by homeowner. Check the outdoor service disconnect box failed the high voltage wiring was bypass this is not safe conditions for the Equipment. The indoor unit is in the garage don’t have any kind of safety’s switches To protect the system from water Damage. I spoke with homeowner over the phone and he approved band air repairs at this moment. Replaced and install new

After national leak detection located leak in yard, we then dug down, located two improper repair fittings in ground busted. Repaired with proper fittings and turned water back on to test and ensure proper function.

Install 2 Goodman air conditioner 2 and 2.5 tons 14 seer2 efficiency, 2 all cased aluminum evaporator coil, 2- 80% efficient 60,000 BTU single stage gas furnace.

Today I cleaned the condenser coil and replaced the capacitor to get unit up and running. Tested fully after repairs and no failures at this time. Customer also signed up for Homecare Maintenance plan today.

Looking for leak, cut ceiling under drains, ran showers, toilet, and lavatories. Found improper toilet flange showing signs of the leak on the joists. Provided estimates to make repairs.

Responded to no cooling Main floor system. Found bad capacitor. Recommended replacing capacitor and adding a hard start, customer chose to just replace the capacitor at this time. System is running at this time.

Payton did a great job, delivered frequent updates, and stayed until the inspector showed up. Which was appreciated given that I had no power.
TE Certified came highly recommended. I should have stopped while I was ahead. With each phone call the communication spiraled downward worse - I would NEVER want people to be without work in today’s world. iHowever, the Techs are not experienced. I did have one decent HVAC guy to come out after the plumber and diagnosed a plumbing issue. I requested a master plumber, they sent a Vet of 29 yrs he was professional indeed. We discussed the issue . I then decided to tell this Vet plumber that I would go and buy a new toilet to have him install. The day of install he dropped the ball and didn’t take pics of the original hole in floorboard around toilet. So I have no idea if the work was even performed accordingly. Listen, do yourself a favor and save yourself some time . They’re affordable indeed but I’d rather pay more money for better communication and to go the resolution I expected. I ended up with no pics of the job being properly done. All promises undelivered! TE Certified is nothing but fluff! Unfortunately, I have to now figure out if the work was performed properly or run the risk of a leaking toilet.

Elijah and partner did a great job! He investigated until he found what was causing the leak. Then he fixed the drain and found a big piece of rubber in the shower drain! It is fixed and no more leak! Highly recommend! The price was also reasonable!
