No cooling call, upon arrival customer stated that system was not cooling when she returned from out of town, checked system and found that blower motor was not turning on, checked for power and blower motor was not getting 120 Volts, furnace control board is bad not sending voltage to heat terminal, inspected heat exchanger and found that heat exchanger is heavily rusted, inducer motor is also pulling high amps, dual and run capacitors are out of tolerance, blower wheel is heavily impacted due to being very dirty, filter was clean, quoted repairs but we recommend replacing the furnace due to the age and condition furnace is 32 years old lifespan of a system is 10-15 years. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Separate double tapped neutrals and replace mismatched breakers

Replace cast iron main line inside crawl space to outside the home. Replace with new 4” schedule 40 PVC. Right outside the house, install a new 4” pvc clean out and replace the remainder of cast iron to septic tank. Replace the outside sewer from house to septic with new schedule 40 solid core PVC. Called out for slow draining shower upstairs. Ran water and the shower began to back up and drained very slowly. Removed a piece of plastic and hair from the shower drain and tested with water thoroughly by filling up the tub and draining all of the water out. Shower is now flowing as it should. Customer was made aware that their water heater is about 20 years old and it was not up to code, it was recommended that it be replaced soon. The water pressure on the home before it reaches the PRV is normal and was unable to remove the hose on the back of the home to test the water pressure in the back. Excavate meter and install new dual check valve and new meter nipple, in front of existing meter. We will install a new courtesy valve as per Georgia IPC code, and tie into existing plumbing system. Once done, we will test the new system for leaks, fill in excavation holes, and cleanup.

Plumbing Service Summary – Front Yard Water Line Repair Upon arrival, the homeowner reported a water leak occurring in the front yard near the home. An excavation hole had already been dug prior to arrival, providing access to the affected section of piping. Upon inspection, a split was discovered along the bottom side of the existing copper water line, which was the source of the leak. The homeowner was informed of the damage and advised that replacing the entire affected water line would be the recommended long-term solution. Our client had a bad seal on a tub drain in the primary bathroom. Apparently the drain was removed at some point. It was not correctly reinstalled. New setup has been tested for leaks and no leaks. Have been found water mitigation company is currently on site removing the ceiling.
