Replace dryer cord
Replace transformer for water shutoff
For this job, I worked on troubleshooting outside back porch fan that was no longer working. I found the issue within the receiver in the fan. I recalibrated both devices and the fan now works properly.
Troubleshoot and install 2 new outlets
Performed home care on one system. Checked all electrical and amperage. Flushed and treated drain line. Flushed and treated condensate pump. Cycled condensate pump to ensure proper operation. Filter April air 213. Cleaned the flame sensor. Checked evaporator coil and blower wheel. Checked outdoor unit. Checked amperage and pressures. Unit in crawlspace. No auxiliary drain pan and no wet switch. Oversize condenser breaker. Max 40 amp has 50 amp. Customer approved repairs. Installed new April air 213 filter and changed oversize breaker to correct size 40 amp breaker. Make all repairs necessary to restore the unit to full health and eliminate all other concerns.
The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today.
The customer called us out to their home to perform a camera inspection. Upon looking for an outdoor clean out, there was no access point. There is cast-iron drain lines in the crawlspace of the home that are in critical condition. I was unable to push it past a double cross wye which had me going up in the toilet on the adjacent side of the wall. Customer was given options to install clean out for an access point to do further investigations, or ballpark figures for what full replacements would look like. I took a tape measure down the neighbors clean out tap and it read approximately 7 1/2 feet deep.
System is a 5 ton gas, furnace and AC from 2019. Pressures once running look good. Both contactor and capacitor are bad however, today we repaired just the capacitor. The contactor does not have much longer and should be replaced to see as possible to prevent another service call. Airflow is imbalanced and system is oversized for the house. Velocity pressure on ducks is so high that the vents rattle. Should consider re-engineering the ductwork for better airflow and re-distribution so house will cool more evenly. Outdoor coil is dirty and needs to be cleaned.
Troubleshot loss of power to outlets in the basement. I found an open junction box buried in the wall next to a light in the basement. The connections in the box were loose and causing a loss of power to the outlet. Junction box was removed, new box was installed in the ceiling with a blank plate for accessibility. 2 New gfcis and 2 new outlets were installed. One new outlet was added off of the dining room circuit above.
Customer called us out for a clogged shower in the master bathroom. I removed the drain cover and the drain was filled with limescale. I recommended clearing the drain of the lime scale and a bottle of Endure drain maintainer. Customer agreed. I scrapped the sides of the drain and then ran a flex shaft to clean what couldn’t be seen. I tested the shower for 10 minutes with no back ups. I cleaned up the area.

Replace ceiling fan
Real Clean Outdoor Coil. Remove condenser fan motor. Remove all debris from inside condenser cavity. Coat and soak coil with coil cleaner. Rinse coil from inside out. Rinse and wash outside of condenser unit. reassembly condenser
Pantry light.
Replaced waste and overflow for upstairs bathroom tub. Also rebuilt old delta shower valve
Performed x2 HC for 2 systems. Inspected thermostat and calibration. Inspected and replaced filters. Inspected electrical connections and terminals and tightened if necessary. Measured /voltage and amps on motors. Inspected starting components. Inspected refrigerator levels and pressures. Treated drain lines. Inspected ductwork for leaks/damages. Found both systems slightly low on refrigerant/2lbs each and starting component for unit #2 is out of specs needing replacement. Customer moved forward with repairs. Added refrigerant According to manufacturer specs. Replaced starting component for unit #2. System is operating at this time.

- Replace 2 flood existing flood lights with TE provided stealth 360 motion censor
Began removing the existing water heater when asbestos was located with the flue pipe. Provided different water heater options. Capped the lines.
Our client has a structural issue in the primary bathroom, which require the beams in the crawlspace to be re-supported to raise the floor back up. Our client also had a leak on a loose nut from a needle valve, which simply needed to be tightened. A couple of the items were discussed and also quoted.
Service visit on Generac 22kw standby generator
Today we completed a slab leak repair in the laundry room. We accessed the affected area by jackhammering the floor to locate the source of the leak beneath the slab. Once exposed, we identified the leaking line as the hot water line. The damaged section of piping was repaired, and the system was then pressurized and tested to confirm the leak had been fully resolved. After verifying proper operation, we backfilled the excavated area and poured concrete to restore the floor. We reinstalled and reconnected the washer and dryer, tested all connections, and ensured everything was functioning properly. Work area was cleaned upon completion. At this time, the previously leaking line has been successfully repaired and is operating as intended.
Installed 2 new dedicated isolation ball valves for master shower. Installed new ball valve for main water supply.
Completed repairs including adding 12” return and 8” supply. Tested system fully after repairs and no failures at this time.

I am very happy with the service I received. The technicians responded within an hour the day after Christmas. I had two gas leaks and Atlanta Gas Light had shut the gas off, but I was grateful that TE Certified was able to come out so quickly to make the repairs. Matthew and Luke were very professional. Took the time to walk with us through each of our wants, give us solutions, explain them and execute them without issue.
