SERVICE CALL: upon arrival homeowner stated they have some issues With odors coming from ac system when it’s running. After complete Troubleshooting I found the system is in Poor maintenance conditions The gas furnace is 13 years horizontal position at crawl space the indoor Evaporator coil 3 1/2 ton capacity 2 years old horizontal position check Heat mode and I found the heat mode is working on short cycles ran 3 Minutes and then overheat and shutdown then when cool off start running Again this condition eventually will damage unit check return ductwork Is short is only 4 metal duct and are 920 Cfm and system is 3 1/2 ton Needs 1400 cfm system is short on 480 cfm. Check blower wheel is highly Impact gas furnace cabinet is rusted. Due to aged and conditions I recommend to upgrade High efficiency gas furnace plus add more return To the system. On this visit… I replaced bulb in laundry room and bathroom

Tested system not cooling for whole home. Tested fully and found a faulty contactor that wasn’t sending power through. Capacitor is also failing. Found strain is being put on system because it doesn’t have enough ductwork on return or supply. A 4 ton system requires 1400 CFM. Return has 1305 CFM and supply has 1415 CFM. We will need to return to add 12” return and 8” supply to system. Condenser coil was also dirty, recommended upgrades for air quality as well to keep indoor unit and air in home clean. Today we replaced the capacitor, contactor, and cleaned the condenser coil.

Perform camera inspection of sewer line through PVC clean out Discovered that both PVC clean outs are holding water. I located the blockage after the secondary clean out, blockage is underneath driveway in driveway landing 8’ deep. Customer stated that the city made repairs on the sewer tap last year and this is in the same spot. Since the sewer is full of sewage, I could not definitively give an answer on what caused the blockage but can confirm that is a hard blockage that our drain techs were unable to clear within cable machine.

Customer is experiencing a whole house back up yesterday when she went to work she came back and the house was flooding, upon arrival I ran test and saw that both clean outs were holding water outside as well. She had to fill valve that was running that made the toilet overflow. So I replaced a fill valve and try to run my K750 machine down the line and attempt was unsuccessful. We have a camera tech scheduled to come out today between three to six to find out what is going on. The blockage is from the second clean out to the city tap.

Customer had the laundry, drain, backing up and overflow and flooded the home, upon arrival I saw that the sink was backed up and the laundry box sharing the same drain line. The sink had grease backing up in the drain line. So I ran my cable down the sink drain to clear the grease and after I tested, and the sink was draining well so then I went to the washing machine box and drained the rest of the water and it drank well so next, I ran a full load in the laundry machine and the drain was draining. Normally, I ran my cable down the laundry box just to be sure that the grease was pushed out, and I ran another load while running the sink and everything drained perfectly at the same as exact time with no backups, customer wanted a supervisor back out because this is the fifth time that it happened and want some answers for why this keep happening. I believe it’s some cast-iron somewhere in the slab because I was pulling back a lot of black residue.. camera tech will be out today between

Performed nitrogen assisted leak search. Found refrigerant leak at multiple spots on condenser coil. Scanned evaporator coil as well got no hits. Recommend replacing condenser coil and filter dryer. Also compressor as we don’t know how long compressor was running low on refrigerant and can be compromised on the long run. Condenser coil has to be brought from factory 10 to 14 days out. Gave a $365 discount half the cost of nitrogen assisted leak search if customer agrees for repairs same day. Per field supervisor.

Waterline service replacement

Customer had a bathtub that wasn’t draining at all. Upon arrival I tested the entire main line and it wasn’t a main line blockage. Next, I gave an estimate to snake the drain and after snake in the drain, it was difficult going through but eventually I was able to clear the blockage. I pulled out very minimum Hair. It was a lot of rust coming back. The customer do have cast-iron in the house and I’ll let her know more than likely the blockage is due to rust closing up the drain pipe. That’s why the water didn’t drain out at all. We have a camera inspection for Friday evening to give a quote to replace cast-iron I’ll let the customer know we will give multiple options or replacing the bathroom group , half house re pipe and full house re-pipe.

Arrived from thermostat calling for cool. Check system off on low pressure switch due to zero pressures in system. Recommend nitrogen assisted leak search. Upon completion of leak search will be additional repair cost.

Performed 1 system diagnostic . Found unit short cycling, pan had some water in it, no te flood protection blower wheel dirty, condenser coil dirty, failed dual run capacitor. Recommend repairs and addding IAQ upgrades. System is cooling at this time without repairs however system is not cooling efficiently. No repair options selected at this time.

Wire up sheds

TESTED SYSTEM NOT HEATING OR COOLING DUE TO WATER IN PAN TRIPPING WET SWITCH. FOUND OUT CUSTOMER HAD A FIXTURE BACK UP WATER TO A FLOOR DRAIN THAT THE AC DRAIN RUNS INTO. THIS WASN'T ALLOWING THE UNIT TO DRAIN WHEN CUSTOMER RAN THE AC. TESTED THE DRAIN, REMOVED WATER FROM SECONDARY PAN, & RESET WET SWITCH. TESTED SYSTEM IN HEAT AND COOL FROM THERMOSTST TO ENSURE PROPER OPERATION.

Washer box not shutting off completely. Cut the drywall to access the water lines, removed and replaced the washer box. Turned on the water and tested. No leaks detected.

For this job, I worked on installing a customer provided transformer and doorbell. checked voltage and connections, upon completing everything is working properly. left estimate to update panel and redevice at home as well.

For this job, I installed a 2T Daikin Fit for the whole house.

Run a dedicated circuit to furnace with switch and outlet for dehumidifier

Called out for toilet constantly running gave estimate for minor rebuild customer agreed removed old fill valve flapper and supply line for master bathroom toilet installed new parts tested working properly and not leaking at this time

Called out for kitchen faucet broken gave estimate to replace kitchen faucet shut off valves for kitchen faucet and garbage disposal. Customer agreed removed old faucet shut off valves and garbage disposal installed customer supplied faucet three shut off valves and garbage disposal tested everything working properly. No leaks at this time.

Installed new hose bib outside. Drilled through foundation to install new water line to hose bib. Installed code required vacuum breaker. Sealed old hose bib hole with hydraulic cement 1/4 inch before finished wall to allow for a professional finish above. No leaks.

Install new switchleg for fan and new box and redo tap and bond box existing Install new splice box in ceiling, new heat jumpers to outlet and switch , and box old

Install chandelier in living room as well as installing crystals on it . Install 2 fixture in upstairs master bedroom.
