4/17-Is going to schedule Wednesday she is waiting for her husband- CP 4/16- Called and left VM to schedule- CP Trenched new water service. Bored under drive way. Drilled hole through slab in laundry/utility room at a 30 degree angle to get water service deep enough outside. Installed new prv and main valve in an accessible location. Installed a tall 40 gal water heater with code upgrades how ever space was very tight. Even with a 40 tall WH we had no space for a larger pan. Used a 20” pan. Turned water on and purged air from system. Lit water heater. Checked for leaks and cleaned up. No leaks or issues at this time.

Cycled equipment in cool mode from thermostat checked operations found condenser fan motor pulling 2.49 amps max on data plate is 1.5 amps condenser fan motor could fail at anytime in addition found impacted condenser coil causing extreme strain on compressor during a cool call. Showed customer findings and scheduled install supervisor manufacture warranty has expired on ac and coil furnace is one year old. Left all equipment operational and showed customer how to operate thermostat

I was called out to Steven’s house for a me time inspection. Steven has lived here for 2 years so we performed a thorough evaluation. During the evaluation we discovered that both systems are from 2010 making them past normal life expectancy, the heat exchangers are both rusted but the main has cracks and isn’t safe to use, the flood protection needs updating, the wheels & acs need cleaned, the condenser fan motors are both worn out, the contactors are burnt, the upstairs systems ductwork is outdated, and the main system may have a leak that needs to be found. Due to the age, cost of repairs, and lack of warranty replacement is a viable option to get up to today’s standards.

No cool on the only system, due to a bad dual capacitor. Replaced capacitor, and system works. Inspected both , heating and cooling. Compressor has high amperage (10.03 amps on a 14 amps max) and making loud noise, also, system is little low on Freon 410a. Inspected heat exchanger and there is a crack in it and it’s compromised. Also, blower wheel is very dirty. Due to the be (15 years old), and condition of the system, Highky recommend to upgrade the only system , and bring safety, savings and comfort back to the house. Current system has no warranty at all, and new systems come with 10 years warranty. Sent estimates for potential repairs (not recommend ) and set a lead to quote to upgrade full system, for tomorrow from 9 - 11 am.
