Job Locations and Reviews
No Cool - Upstairs Both the outdoor fan motor and the dual capacitor has failed. The blower wheel is dirty and needs to be cleaned. The system has an improper settlement trap, and it lacks proper flood protection. Due to the fact, I was unable to test the equipment to see if other issues are exist I strongly recommend getting a quote for a replacement before making any repairs. The system is R 22 and the age cannot be determined at this time. Therefore it may be a good time to look into options. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.
We came out to the home after a leak was reported at the T&P valve on the existing tankless water heater. We performed a thorough evaluation and completed the recommended repairs, including replacing the PRV, installing a new T&P relief valve on the tankless unit and replacing the expansion tank. The expansion tank was re-piped correctly after being previously installed on the hot water line. After completing all repairs, we repressurized and tested the plumbing system. Everything is now working properly with no leaks detected. We cleaned the work area and removed all debris before leaving. The customer was advised that the existing tankless water heater is about 14 years old and would benefit from routine maintenance to help extend its life and reduce the likelihood of future issues. We also recommended installing a leak alarm beneath the unit for early warning in case of future leaks. If any other plumbing issues arise, the customer is encouraged to reach out.
10 years parts warranty
Today I came out to install a new TXV on the upstairs system. I removed the failed TXV and installed the new one. After the installation, I pressure-tested the system with nitrogen to verify there were no refrigerant leaks. Once the system passed the leak test, I pulled a vacuum down to 400 microns, and the vacuum held, confirming the system was dry and leak-free. I then charged the system according to the manufacturer’s specifications, including the additional refrigerant required for the line set. After charging, I tested the system and verified proper operation. The system is now cooling properly with no refrigerant leaks or other issues at this time. Customer is happy.
Cut up/break concrete where water leak is marked. Dig down to find water line and replaced section where pipe is leaking. Test and backfill, pour concrete back and clean up work area.
Customers garbage disposal was jammed was physically able to see the keys that were jamming it inside of the garbage disposal. I was able to remove with a pair of needle nose pliers after a little persistence. Afterwards cleaned out the garbage disposal and checked to make sure that the disposal teeth were in good condition, which they were. Thank you for choosing and trusting t e with your plumbing needs
Came out to troubleshoot the basement lighting issues and found a failed GFCI outlet on the back porch. Provided a quote to replace the GFCI outlet. Also identified an outdated Challenger electrical panel and provided a quote for panel replacement. Customer will consider the recommended repairs. Tested the system, and all currently functioning circuits are operating properly at the time of service.
Check valve for sewage ejector was leaking. We replaced the check valve combo for the ejector pump. All work was thoroughly tested upon completion. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
Impressive professionalism from this young man. I guess he grew up in an electrician family which explains how he knew so much and was able to be very efficient at his job. Highly recommend!!!
Running a 50 amp sauna circuit from the main electrical panel in the basement to the side of the home and install a disconnect for the sauna to be hooked up to.
Technician replaced thermal expansion tank and rerouted copper lines to the water heater. Location of the expansion tank was moved due to difficulty to access and is now mounted and strapped for support. Shower cartridge was also replaced on tub valve.
Replaced one of the fans on the back porch
No cool on the only system in the house due to a compressor burnt wire , connected on top of the contactor. Fam condenser motor wire was burnt as well. Fixed wires and system works. Checked amperage on motor and compressor, filter, drain line, furnace, temperature differential and visual inspection. System is cooling but compressor and fan motor are working with high amperage, and it can affect the performance of the system and can burn the capacitor (has happened before couple times, according to the customer). System is 16 years old and on its last legs. Due to the be and condition of the system, the best option would be to up the system, and bring savings, comfort and efficiency back to the house. Customer declined any quote at this time. System is working at this visit, but it can go have more issues, specially on hotter days. Also recommend to sign up for maintenance plan. Customer declined that, as well.
No Cool - Upstairs System Breaker for the air handler was on, but not passing power to the indoor while the breaker for the heat pump was off. I reset both breakers and the system came on and it’s cooling properly at this time. The condenser coil could use a cleaning. The equipment flood protection could be upgraded to include a drain line and a wet switch pan safety. The system and the condition space could benefit from some indoor air quality enhancement. Otherwise all is working well at this time.
He did a great job replacing my dead disposal.
Came here for a no cool on a 2018 carrier AC and furnace. After going outside and noticed that the compressor or the fan was not running I tested the low-voltage wires. I tested the capacitor and I tested voltage to come into the contactor. The contactor was getting voltage in getting 24 V in the middle but not getting any voltage out so I determined that the contactor had failed. I had to go to Home Depot to buy a new contactor came back replace contactor, fan and compressor starter running again. I checked the pressures performed out the T flushed the drain line and collect the payment.
On today’s visit I met with the homeowner. The homeowner expressed an issue with a leaking garbage disposal. I wrote up options to perform work. I installed a 1/2 hp customer supplied disposal. I tested for leaks and did a super clean up. The customer is now happy and satisfied. Remove existing garbage disposal, install new owner-furnished garbage disposal, connect electrical wiring, connecting all drain lines, test unit, clean-up, product overview and maintenance care with customer. Customer supplied unit.
Estimates left for repairs. This included replacing the Prv, expansion tank, master shower cartridge and repiping the water heater to code
Replaced 2 fans and a small fan/light
Estimate is to replace basement HVAC system, new return plenum and permit all work with Cherokee County.
Added sconce lights and outlet above fireplace
I conducted lead detection service for homeowner, I discovered the leak in the middle of the yard between a flower bed and an oak tree area has been marked with a blue paint
For this job, homeowner was having a leaking water heater. Once we arrived, we inspected the heater and saw it was dripping from the drain port. We checked the pressure and it was reading about 120 PSI. We informed the homeowner this was likely the reason the heater was dripping and would need to go ahead and replace both the PRV and heater as it was a plastic port and those we wouldn’t be able to repair. We wrote up several estimates on varying warranty years for the new heater ranging from 6-12 years. Homeowner decided with the 12 year. We double checked all of our work and all is working as it should at this time. PSI was set to about 65 and the expansion tank is set to 70 PSI. We went ahead added new shutoff valves for the hosebib and main as it was right in the same place as the heater as a courtesy. We collected 1806$ through Zelle from the homeowner today and she will be financing through synchrony on the remaining 1500$. Thank you for trusting TE Certified with all your plu
Came out to troubleshoot the GFCI breaker protecting the EV charger circuit. After evaluating the system, I informed the homeowner that GFCI breakers are more sensitive than standard breakers and can nuisance-trip with certain EV chargers. I recommended replacing the existing setup with an EV wall connector on a dedicated circuit protected by a standard breaker. With the homeowner's approval, I completed the installation, tested the system, and verified the EV charger is operating properly.
Replaced washing machine box. Tested for leaks for approximately 15 minutes and function. No issues.
For this job the customer stated she noticed a leak in her basement coming from what appeared to be the water heater. Further inspection of the area showed no signs of leaking coming from the hvac system only leaving the water heater. I drained the heater down and cleaned up all water to ensure it was coming from the water heater and not somewhere else. After one hour I didn’t see anymore water confirming it was the heater. I gave the customer options for a new water heater, pressure regulator and to retro fit a recirculating pump. The customer agreed and the old heater was removed and replaced with a new one. All plumbing was done in accordance with code and checked thoroughly for leaks and proper function.
Home owner is going out of town and only wants drain repair completed outside. If ac fails there is no warranty for return trip. Home owner will schedule home care or inspection when she returns. Noticed dirty condenser coils. Drains getting dirty. Systems have not been serviced or cleaned in a long time.
