Issue: no heat System: main floor Finding: the homeowner has hired another company who came to diagnose their system, the technician who diagnosed the system and cut off all the rollouts and connect them with wire nuts. The furnace control board was replaced prior arrival. After checking the system, found out the system is not igniting. Consequently, the system needs a new igniter in order to continue to order diagnostics.bad igniter. Recommendations: replace igniter 1st. Coming back on Tuesday between 9 and 11AM TO Complete job.

Customer noticed this morning there was water under the floor boards in the kitchen, they turned water off to the home and called us, when I arrested thus morning the customer had water turned off to the home, we turned water on for a few seconds to see where heater was coming from, I could see from the hole in the cabinet there was water dripping from a Cpvc 90, I told the customer we could access it by cutting the cabinet or cutting drywall in the back of the island, they requested we cut the cabinet, I cut a small section of the cabinet out, cut out the pex x Cpvc adapter, installed a pex x press adapter, with a street 90, I then used another 90 to get around the back wall of the cabinet, I then installed a 3/4 x 1/2 reducer coupling with a small piece of 1/2 copper and a new straight compression stop, I double checked to make sure everything was crimped and the valve was off before proceeding to turn water on, I turned the meter on slowly and waited for it to pressurize, I then wen

The T&P valve on one of the water heaters was slowly leaking. I checked the water pressure and got a reading of 145psi. Replace PRV and failed expansion tank. Set water pressure to 65psi and inflated expansion tank to 70psi. I bled air from the lines and checked for leaks. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!

Completed inspection punchlist repairs

Customer had a root blockage on the county side of clean out. The bottom of the compression tee had cracked allowing growth through the sewer line. Whole pipe was completely full, causing a blockage and backup flowing into the house. After TE could not get through the blockage using a cable machine, we came out, replaced the damaged pipe with brand new schedule 40 PVC, as well as replaced the compromised Tee up to GA plumbing code standard. Excavated and “hydrovaced” the area. Roughly 4 foot down, replaced the tee and the damaged pipe. Backfilled to grade level and put sewer box over the the new county clean out. Customer also stated he watered the pre-existing clean out left behind.

I gave the homeowner estimates to replace her broken toilet in the powder bathroom on the main level of her home, also noticed during my walk-through that she had high water pressure so I gave her an estimate to replace the PRV as well. Job is scheduled for Monday

Homecare 2026

Technician found that the existing water heater temperature and pressure (T&P) relief discharge line was obstructed by a porch addition. A new 3/4-inch CPVC discharge line was installed and rerouted outside to eliminate the obstruction. The new exterior penetration is located beneath the back porch, near the water filtration discharge. All penetrations were sealed, and connections were tested with no leaks observed at the time of service. The old discharge line was capped off in the ceiling in the water heater room.

Make all repairs necessary to restore the unit to full health and eliminate all other concerns.

Technician found that the existing dryer gas piping was improperly installed, with the shutoff valve located on the opposite side of the wall and the flexible gas connector routed through the wall to the dryer. Technician removed the existing valve and affected piping, reconfigured the gas line, and installed a new shutoff valve behind the dryer. A new flexible gas connector was also installed. Piping within the wall was securely strapped to prevent movement. The dryer gas connection is now code compliant, as requested by the inspector. Gas service to the dryer was restored, and all new connections were leak tested with no leaks detected. The water heater and furnace pilot lights were checked to verify operation.

This is a 28kw generac generator install. Home has a brand new panel we installed last year. We will pull seu cable out of panel, install a service rated ats and run new ser to panel.

Today We Came Out To Address The Homeowners Concern Of The Oven Not Operating Correctly. We Met With The Homeowner And She Showed Us The Oven And Electrical Panels. We Went Over The Agenda On The Back Of The Catalog And Performed A Troubleshoot. We Determined The Wires On The Breaker Were Never Tightened Down. They Were Just Sitting Behind The Terminals. We Corrected The Wiring On The Breaker And The Unit Was Receiving The Correct Voltage. We Pulled The Unit Out To Ensure The Connections Were Also Correct. They Are Correct The Junction Box Is Just Missing A Cover. We Replaced The Cover As A Courtesy And Informed The Homeowner Of The Issue With The Video We Took. We Also Noticed There Is Not An Equipment Ground For The Range Circuit. We Provided And Estimate For A New Circuit And Explained The Importance Of The Unit Being Bonded To The Electrical Grounding System. We Answered All Questions That Were Asked Of Us. Ran camera system down, clean out front of home. Located break/blockage in main sewer line underneath Japanese maple tree. Repairs are scheduled for Friday 10/23. Utilities have been called in locate dig numbers have been obtained.

Technician removed the existing filtration system and installed a new HALO 5 five-stage whole-home filtration system. A discharge line was routed outside, requiring sheetrock to be cut for access. The homeowner understands that sheetrock repair and replacement are their responsibility. While draining the home’s water lines, technician discovered that the water heater discharge line is obstructed by the porch where it connects to the house. An estimate was provided to replace the discharge line, with a return visit scheduled for Friday to complete the repair. The bypass valve was positioned to direct water through the filtration system. Air was purged from the water lines, and the system was thoroughly flushed and tested.

Replace 2 customer supplied ceiling fans in upstairs bedrooms. We installed two 4” recessed cans on existing switch above bed in second floor bedroom at end of hall. We installed four 6” recessed cans on existing switch in second floor bedroom at top of stairs. We installed four 6” cans on existing switch in first floor bedroom at end of hall. We installed four 6” cans on existing switch in first floor office/bedroom. We installed arc fault protection for these circuits. We installed 4 dimmers one in each room we installed can lights.

Wiring inside of outdoor unit shorted out to copper refrigerant line. This caused the 75 VA transformer in the air handler to trip. It also created a short in the lower terminal box of the control board that wires in to the communicating thermostat box. The power wiring to the box was wired directly into the low-voltage block of the control board to get power restored. Once power was restored, the heating was turned on. The control board shows that the unit is heating, though the unit is actually cooling. A follow up has been submitted to replace the control board. I’ve got some repairs.

Troubleshoot fluctuating power to playroom Remove and replace faulty receptacle at foyer

Came out today to replace 3 toilets in the home. Removed toilets. Installed new wax rings, bolts, caps and supply lines. Installed new kohler high line toilets. Sealed around base of toilets with silicone. Replaced both service valves for both toilets upstairs. Re ran vent for tankless unit and sealed around cover plates. Installed check valves on cold and recirculation lines on tankless. Restored water to the home and verified customer had hot water at the fixtures. No leaks were observed.

Toilet flange cracked on the inside of the fitting. Caused water to leak into the ceiling below. Customer opened a hole in the Sheetrock to verify. Pulled toilet and replaced flange. Mounted the flange to the subfloor with screws at the correct height. Reinstalled toilet with new bolts and a new wax ring. Tested toilet thoroughly. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!

Today I came back out to complete the qc, gen was not able to start, we have ordered the part on warranty and will repair gen when it arrives. We are collecting a total of 17,500 and leaving a balance of 3,028.95. Once gen is confirmed running. Gen tech will complete qc and out card on file for gen care.

For this job, I performed an annual home care plumbing inspection. Upon inspection, I found a toilet fill valve that kept starting and stopping and starting and stopping. I replaced the fill valve. In order to do so, the toilet had to be removed because it was a skirted Toto toilet. I pulled and reset toilet, and tested all work for leaks and function. Left area super clean. Diagnostic analysis of no heat revealed a failed control board. The board is not sending. 24 volt signal from the furnace without pushing the harness in place as the solder joints are faulty. This system is 12 years old. This appears to be the first original part to be replaced and due to age and condition of system you will begin to experience continuous part failures which can become very costly over time. It is recommended to begin thinking god investing in a new system for long term increased efficiency and all new warranties. Also the system does not have adequate flood protection or indoor air quality UV protection which is highly recommended for peace of mind and healthy air in your home.
