Came out for a clogged sink in the upstairs bathroom that service had found. Customer stated that they had to empty the sink every two hours and did not know where the water was coming from. Trap was not attached on arrival. In the attic I found that the condensate was draining into the vent line. I gave the customer multiple options. They chose to try plunging first the run a flex shaft if needed. I plunged the line but was unable to get it to clear. I then ran a flex shaft down the line successfully clearing the blockage. I reinstalled the trap but it leaked at the trap arm. I replaced it with a new trap but it still leaked. Some pipe thread sealant stopped the leaks. Tested the line throughly. Cleaned up throughly. Customer did not want me to check water heater or pressure because service was out earlier today.

Upon arrival, the ac disconnect was melted. I removed the wires and tested for continuity between hot and ground on the line side and there was none. I tested for continuity on the load side and it tested positive for continuity between hot and ground. I opened the ac unit and disconnected the wires from the disconnect and retested. With the wire disconnected from the ac unit there was no longer continuity. I tested continuity between ground and both lugs in the terminal block and there was continuity. An internal component of the ac unit is what caused the breaker to trip. Today I replaced the ac disconnect that has melted and installed properly sized 60 amp breaker for unit in panel.

On today’s visit the homeowner expressed an issue with a mainline clog. I took a look and tested the toilets started to gurgle. I then wrote estimates to perform work and received approval. I ran my cable and successfully cleared the clog. I pulled back toilet paper on my cable. I rest the toilet and tested for leaks and restoration of flow. The home is now draining fine at this time. I did a super cleanup as well the homeowner is now satisfied with the work completed.

Replaced the outlet for the stove which has a loose connection and was feeding the microwave. After replacing the outlet the microwave and the stove have both had power restored.

For this job the customer stated they had a hose bib that continuously leaks when it is on. Further inspection showed a hose bib that needed replacing. In order to do so a hole in the kitchen cabinet would have to be made to install the new hose bib. The customer agreed and the old one was removed and replaced. A bead of silicone was placed around the hose bib and firmly anchored to the side of the house. All work was thoroughly tested for leaks and proper function.

No cool whole home. Found 2019 Goodman 2.5 ton ac and furnace with compressor not operating. Upon fur5er inspection found failed dual capacitor not allowing compressor to start. Contactor showing signs of arcing, ac is dirty, blower wheel is dirty and system lacks a Wet switch. Quoted repairs. Customer chose band aid option of capacitor only. Quoted Homecare as well.

Drain line exits in gutter. Drain line restricted with leaves and debris inside of the gutter, causing water to fill the induced draft motor, thus not allowing the heat to operate. Cleared drain. System now heating and cooling. Thank you for choosing TE certified!

Customer had her powder room toilet flange replaced and needed the toilet and the new vanity installed. Installed customer provided vanity and faucet. Mounted the cabinet to the wall. Countertop is secured to the cabinet base with adhesive silicone. The countertop to wall gap is sealed with white silicone. I thoroughly tested the sink for leaks and proper function. Installed customer provided toilet. Toilet was already assembled as it was previously installed before flooring repairs were completed. Installed new nylon bolts, china caps, wax ring, and supply line. Toilet bowl is sealed to the floor with clear silicone. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!

For today’s service, we recall out here because Dee is having issues of having to wait for hot water for a time period of five minutes. I performed a troubleshoot on the research pump and found that the setting speed for the pump was too slow and increased the speed of the pump. I waited for an additional time. For the pump to bring hot water to the plumbing fixtures and is now getting faster, hot water response. I did mention that the pump is of lower quality and would recommend replacing it with a higher grade pump so she does not run into that same issue again. I advised to monitor the pump that is currently part of the plumbing water system to see if that makes a difference and if it’s still the same results, recommend swapping it out with a different pump. I also adjusted the dishwasher alignment that was a little crooked and got it to be more even level. Today service is complete and thank you for choosing TE certified.

Came out to reset toilet and install vanity after remediation. Gave customer an estimate and they agreed. Shut off water. Removed the caps on all supply lines and installed new stop valves. Had to make new holes for drain and supply in the vanity. Customer approved. Reset toilet with new wax rings, closet bolts and china caps. Tested everything and cleaned up. Faucet had a leak in the cold handle. Customer will be replacing that themselves.

Customer had a leak coming from a hose water bowl , located in one of the horse stables. I was able to determine the cause of the leak , and customer was okay with isolating the bowl , because they do not have horses nor do they use the water bowl. I was able to dismantle the bowl , and cap off the water line. I then turned the water back on from the well system.

Flushed tank style water heater located in the garage. Replaced failed Moen Posi-Temp cartridge in the master bathroom shower.

Outdoor capacitor failed. Replaced with approval. Confirmed operations thereafter. System now cooling properly. Thank you for choosing TE certified!

Customer called us out because a GFI breaker kept tripping. I did a troubleshoot and found that the breaker controlled the half bath the pantry and the screened in porch lights and outlets. I could not get the breaker to trip at all so I did some investigating and discovered that the outlets were on that circuit. I suggested to the homeowner that we put it on a normal breaker and installed GFI outlets instead so that way if the outlets trip the lights would not turn off. He decided to go with this idea and so we did it. Through my exploration, I discovered a damaged front porch outlet and an outlet in the bathroom that had been added. That was not GFI protected. I replaced the outlet with a GFI outlet and I replaced the damaged outlet on the front porch. In the garage the customer is also missing an outlet plate that I supplied for him as well.

Replaced failed vacuum breaker on hose bib, located on the left side of the home. Replaced failed Moen Posi-Temp cartridge in the tub/shower combination unit within the upstairs guest bathroom. Restored water to the home and checked all work completed for leaks and proper functionality. Walk-through was completed with the customer, payment was successfully collected and technician departed the job site.

Customer called us out to get a quote on changing a disposal in the kitchen and a toilet in the master bathroom. On arrival customer showed me the issues and I gave them multiple estimates. They chose to have the garbage disposal replaced with a 1/2 hp Insinkerator and the toilet replaced with a Kholer Highline Arc. I shut off power and removed the old disposal and collar, then installed the new disposal and collar. I tested the disposal for leaks and function. No issues. I then removed the old toilet and installed the new toilet. Flange looked good and stop valve was working. Tested toilet and caulked. Cleaned both areas throughly.

Homeowner has two toilets that are both having issues. The toilets are both older style 1.6 Gallon eljer toilets. Both the toilets have cracks in them. The toilet in the master has a large crack in the side of the tank. The toilet in the hall bathroom has a crack at the base. The toilet in the hall bath has a broken handle. Both the toilets should be replaced. Disconnected and removed failed toilets. Both the flanges have spacers raising them up. Flange in the hall bathroom requires a new spacer. Installed new Oatey flange extender. Installed new wax ring and nylon bolts. Provided and assembled new Kohler Highline arc. Installed new Kohler Highline arc. Installed new stainless steel braided supply line. Flushed toilet in hallway bathroom approximately 5 times to test for leaks. Toilet is functioning properly. Caulked toilet to floor with clear caulk. Flange in master bathroom is low, but a new spacer would set it too high. Installed new extra thick wax ring. Installed new nylon bolts.

Cleared blockage in kitchen sink drain with cable machine. Customer is aware of high pressure in the home, recommended having a service tech come out and address issue but did not wish to proceed at this time.

I replaced light fixtures in the hall, living room and master bedroom. I also added a dimmer for the living room light.

Installed a new whole home surge protector and replaced a gen 1 Eaton ch breaker with a new gen 6.

During today's visit, we returned to complete a repair on the main water service line located between the water meter and the irrigation control box in the front yard. Upon arrival, we found that the failed section of the 1-inch blue polyethylene (poly) service line had already been exposed. Water was actively leaking from the Flo-Control fitting, most likely due to tension that had been present on the line prior to the repair. We first isolated the water supply to the home and drained the system through the exterior hose bib located on the right side of the property. Once the line was fully drained, we cut into the damaged section of pipe and removed the failed portion entirely, extending from the water meter to the Flo-Control fitting near the irrigation box. The existing Flo-Control fitting was disassembled, and the old retaining nut, washers, and internal mechanical components were removed. We then installed a new threaded nut along with all corresponding components required for

Performed 3 system Homecare maintenance today. 413 filters for the ML and UL are recommended for replacement. LL is still fairly clean. Client approved replacing only the ML filter today. UL will require replacement soon. ML system slightly overcharged and adjusted charge to manufacture specifications. Humidity was very high inside the home above 55% with set temperatures at 69 degrees. Running the system at this temperature while maintaining temperature, allows the humidity to increase causing the system to run more often as humidity retains heat. I added the dehumidification setting to maintain a 50% humidity which can allow the temperature to decrease up to 2 degrees lower than your set point of 69. This will make the space feel much cooler. You may need to adjust the temperature to 70 or 71 degrees to offset this so it doesn’t get too cold in the home while dehumidifying. The addition of dehumidification is a more efficient cooling process to add than cooling by temperature alone.
