In the garage I removed the surface mounted fixture on the left due to the LEDs not working and installed a new customer supplied integrated LED fixture and set the color temp to 4000k to match the other fixture On the back porch the sconce light on the left (facing in the home) was not working while the one of the right was. I removed the fixture off the bracket and found the neutral wire to not be attached. After wiring the neutrals back up and mounting the fixture I was able to get the light fixture to work. In the living room as courtesy I installed (2) customer supplied wall mounted plug in fixtures at no additional cost. I wired in and installed a lifetime warranty surge protector inside the main panel. I found that the car charger circuit has a 32 amp max rating Tesla charger plugged into a surface mounted outlet. I found the breaker to be oversized and no GFCI protection available per 210.8 of the NEC

Performed camera inspection from front clean out and went to the tap. Found a couple areas where roots appeared to be growing under and pushing up piping as well as a separation before tap at 9’ deep. Quoting for repairs.

Customer states tankless needs to be unplugged and plugged back in almost every morning or the unit will not fire. We ran water for a half hour but no trouble codes appeared and the unit operated properly while we were onsite. The customer mentioned it had been a couple years since the unit was last flushed and asked about having it flushed. While onsite we found that the check valve on the cold supply, and hot water return line are both leaking. We found that there is a brass sharkbite fitting on the condensate line. Tankless condensation is acidic and routinely eats away at brass fittings. This fitting was installed in such a manner that it prevents removal of the fitting. This estimate includes descaling the unit, but we make no guarantees that flushing the unit will restore proper operation. Work performed: Descaled tankless water heater.

The water supply line for the dishwasher blew off and flooded the main level of the home. Customer stated that all of the toilet were continuously running and most of the faucets were dripping or had a steady stream even when closed. I checked the water pressure and got a reading of 145psi. The existing PRV was also dripping from the adjustment screw. Installed new PRV and expansion tank. Expansion tank is pressurized to 70psi and PRV is set to 65psi. We purged all of the air from all fixtures, turned the recirculation pump back on, and doubled checked the water pressure. Customer had an angle stop in powder bathroom vanity that was leaking. Replaced both hot and cold stops for vanity in powder bathroom Turned water back on and tested work. Everything is working as it should at this time. Today Amber has called us out here because she has an issue with her kitchen sink that the garbage disposal is not working and is also slow to drain. She did had mentioned that there was bones that were put into the garbage disposal that likely caused the garbage disposal to not work anymore. I noticed the kitchen drain of the installation and it was not in the best practice of how the drains should work properly. Amber also mentioned about the showers that do not get hot enough and when I opened up, the shower handles saw that the setting was set too low and not allowing enough hot water to come out of the shower which I had adjusted and are now getting hot water. I also noticed some high concerns regarding the age of the water heater and the pressure inside of the house. The water heater is 11 years old and is going to fail sooner than later and recommend getting that replaced along with the pressure regulating valve that is holding at a stagnant pressure of 120 psi that is way too h

Today I was called out because customer’s dryer vent duck came loose and wasn’t properly secure. I properly secure dryer vent with screws and mastic tape. Customer turned on his dryer and I verify that everything was secure and flowing as normal. There are no other issues. Customer is happy.

Perform diagnostic on the only system in the home, I found that the wires on the existing thermostat were just loose. After correcting the wiring, the old thermostat is now operating properly. I quoted the homeowner for a new wire to run his smart thermostat. I also made quotes to the 30-year-old furnace, while I do not recommend moving forward with repairs. I recommended replacing the entire system due to age and condition.

Arrived on site and met with customer who stated when the water department came out to change the meter , they mentioned he had a water leak . Upon my inspection we located a small amount of water in the meter box , so I tested the shut offs to determine the issue. I discussed the options with the homeowner and so we agreed to have me dig up in front of the meter to locate the possible leak . While digging up in front of the meter. There was a pre existing capped line which had snapped during my initial dig about 2 inches below the grass line . Once I made that repair on the cap line , I was able to continue digging in front of the meter, which I was then able to put eyes on the problem. The main line coming off of the meter had failed and was causing a drip to occur . Customer then decided to move forward with the fix starting from the meter nipple and its Checkvalve, and the failed connection. Once made the fix , I then pressurized the system to ensure no other issues on the line occ

Full system for main, added 2 supplies, 1 return and spliced a supply ran by the homeowner.

Installed customer supplied faucets in the kitchen, main level powder room, and upstairs hall bathroom. After installing I checked for leaks, no leaks are present.

For this job, the customer has heard from other neighbors about pressure issues, and issues with the water heater. After diagnosis I found the pressure was over 100 psi with a builder grade Wilkins installed, and a failed expansion tank. The customer opted to replace the regulator, and expansion tank. Troubleshoot why the vent hood has lost power.

Over the last two days I completed the “ rough in” portion of a basement finish. We installed the boxes and wiring for 37 new outlets, 15 new switches controlling 21 total new lights, all on a total of seven new circuits. We installed a new subpanel in the basement fed from the main panel on a 100 amp breaker.

Troubleshoot on Generac power pact standby generator

Adjusted scald guards for showers to allow more hot water. Had customer test the temperature at both showers before leaving. Customer was good with temperature.

Called out to complete sold work for installment of expansion tanks for two tankless water heaters and a pull and reset on a toilet. Began by shutting off water to the home draining the system. Once system was drained Installed new shut off and mini expansion tank for both the tankless water heater in the garage and in the walk-in attic upstairs. Once work was complete re-introduced water to the system and tested for leaks and functionality. No leaks and everything is functioning properly. Also did a pull and reset on a toilet in the master bathroom due to one of the bolts being broken. Front of the flange was in good condition to replace the bolts with a new wax ring and reset the toilet. Once the toilet was set, tested for leaks and functionality.
