Customer called us out for a clog exiting the grease trap under the triple sink in the kitchen. On arrival the trap was full and not draining. I gave the customer an estimate and they agreed. I removed the piping going into the floor from the grease trap and ran my flex shaft into the baffle. The baffle is coated in grease. I successfully restored flow from the grease trap, tested and cleaned throughly. Customer also had a leaky faucet that I tightened.
The customer had lost power to the GFCI outlet left of the stove and also the kitchen island. We preformed a minor troubleshoot to verify that power was still present on the line side of the device and it was. We noticed that a black mark, indicating damage was done on the device. To correct this we supplied and installed a new GFCI outlet and tested the safety feature. I am highly suggesting to have a lifetime warranty surge protector installed at the main panel.
Alex was extremely professional and communicated details fully throughout our project. He is a pleasure to work with!!!
Remove Sheetrock in basement closet to expose shutoff valve and water piping. Install new 3/4” shutoff valve, pressure regulator, and connect back to existing copper. Remove two 3/4 grey poly valves in drop ceiling and hard pipe back together. In this same area, remove grey poly coupling/piping and install shutoff valve for hose bib. Customer is aware of the concerns and issues with the remaining water piping and possibilities of other leaks happening while the water is being turned on and off, TE is responsible for existing water/drain piping. Will also look at water supply for ice maker 6-23-26 Fridge box is hooked up to dead grey poly line. New line will have to be ran from basement for supply.
For this job, we ran a 30 amp circuit out to the back side of the house and installed a disconnect for a future sauna.
For this job, I replaced (4) smoke detectors and installed (5) smoke detectors. Everything was tested and is working properly.
Arrived to a no cool under 10 commercial package system Rheem 2023. Owner is saying system kept freezing up. Came across dirty filters. Also sensing bulb was not located in correctly and not insulated. Found my vsat temp dropping as the unit was running, got a screen shot at 38 degrees but temp was dropping even more. Fixed sensing bulb and informed owner either you keep the filters at the grilles or you keep them at the unit , extra filter would just cause more restrictions. Added 8oz to the system and system pressures did not change. Added due to superheat being slighter higher. Checked my return static. Ran system for 25+ minutes, and system was no longer freezing vstat temp was sitting at 45 degrees. Fixed wiring for safeties so they are no longer bypassed. System is now cooling upon technician departure.
The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Condensate pump failed due to restricted tubing. Unable to locate the other end of tubing. With approval, the condensate pump and tubing were replaced. New tubing completely rerouted. Advised homeowners that there is not a clean out for the drain line/P-trap. There is also no water safety in the drain pan to prevent any potential flooding. Estimates for both or attached. New home care plan added. Used wet vac and mighty pump to clear upstairs drain line. Upstairs system otherwise not looked at at all on this visit. First home care visit will be this fall. Main floor system operational upon departure. Thank you for choosing TE certified!
Replaced ceiling fan
Customer called us out for a repeated gurgling noise in the master bathroom toilet. On arrival I tested all of the fixtures in the master bathroom and could not get the issue to reoccur. Customer stated they have been having this issue roughly once a week for a year. Customers master bathroom toilet also does not consistently refill the tank. I gave the customer multiple options and recommended having a sewer supervisor out to scope the line. Customer did not want to do work today or have the sewer supervisor out.
Panel restorations and label panel along with hanging a light and replacing a 20 amp outlet.
Excellent service!
Customer noticed a water stain on the ceiling directly below the master bathroom shower. I removed the trim plate and check for leaks from the shower valve and saw no water or signs of leaking. Removed the drain and noticed that the putty had been mostly washed away and the cork and rubber seal on the bottom were both wet. I concluded that the seal between the drain body and sower base ad failed. I replaced the washers on the bottom side of the base and installed a new drain top and grate. I sealed the drain to the base with silicone to allow flexibility. I instructed the customer to not use the sower until tomorrow. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
Upon arrival spoke with customer about their water heater that was leaking. Gave options. Removed heater from the system. Installed new heater in a pan with a water alarm with a 4 year warranty extension kit. Installed new venting and connected to heater with 3 screws per joint. Extended gas line and added new shut off valve. Installed new gas whip and sediment trap and connected to gas system. Installed new piping, shut off valve and thermal expansion tank mounted to a bracket mounted to the structure. Restored water and tested for leaks. Insulated piping with fiberglass, mounted gas line and added valve tag. Fixed 4 additional leaks in the basement on dripping copper joints.
Troubleshoot breaker tripping

HVAC condensation pump was plumbed into a hub drain at the drain penetration. Condensation was backing up and overflowing on the basement floor. I capped the hub drain branch and ran the pump line directly outside. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
System not cooling/indoor blowing Checked outdoor and power was there but capacitor was completely dead Replaced capacitor with homeowner approval System now running normal Homeowner decided to sign up for our Homecare membership Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
No Cool- 2018 Goodman Found blower motor had failed causing system not to cool. During the inspection it was also found that then outdoor AC Disconnect has over heated and melted and will need replaced. The contactor is in poor shape as well. The return ductwork is not connected to the equipment properly and is also drawing air from the mechanical closet that also has a natural draft gas water heater in the same room. This is highly unsafe and against building codes. For now the customer decided to replace the blower motor and sign up for HomeCare plan. The customer also agreed to have someone come out and give them options for a water heater that would eliminate multiple issues that the current water heater has, and eliminate the unsafe conditions that the mechanical closet currently has from the hvac pulling return air from the same room a gas appliance occupies.
excellent service
Today I came out due to system not working properly. System is an 2024 Goodman. Furnace is located in attic controlling whole home. Upon arrival thermostat was set to 75 and satisfied, but would continuously run. It’s a nest thermostat that’s 10 years old. I checked entire system and system itself is working perfectly. I recommend replacing Nest thermostat with an Ecobee. The condenser coils have debris built up on them. After going over all options and findings, Customer is going to discuss with his wife on what they would like die and get back to me. It was a pleasure to meet you today and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
Today I came out due to system not cooling. System is a 2018 Carrier furnace with 2018 Carrier AC. Upon arrival thermostat was set to 72, but was reading 76. The capacitor for the outdoor unit was bad. It’s rated for 60/7.5 +/- 5% and its actual reading was 30.96/ 0.645. I also found the condenser coils, evaporator coil, and blower wheel all have debris built up on them. I also changed the 16x25x1 filter. After going over all findings and options, Marti has agreed to move forward with option B. I have replaced the capacitor today today to get system back up and running and will return next Friday to complete the cleanings. It was a pleasure to meet you today and I look forward to next Friday!
Andrew was very professional and timely. Very thorough and explained the whole process. Great company!!!
No cool upstairs unit. Found 2003 Lennox 2.5 ton r22 ac. Found failed blower motor on furnace. Due to personal reasons at the moment replacement is not an option for customer but she understood system would be best if replaced. Did advise could not grantee any other repairs wouldn’t be found once motor was replaced. Customer agreed to replace blower motor. Obtained motor and replaced. Inspected system finding high amp draw on motors, dirty ac, system lacks flood protection. Recommended replacement. However customer is listing house this week. Also advised customer she has no flood protection and HIGHLY RECOMMEND ADDING IT

Dig down 3’ to repair sewer line at 4” PVC clean out. Replace clean out and completely remove root bloackge. Repair with new schedule 40 solid core PVC. Reinstall toilet. Came out to complete work of removing pipe from where it exits the building and the clean out. On arrival the hole was mostly dug by the home owners. We had them stop when they reached the top of the pipe where it exits the house. From there it dropped 1.5 feet to the clean out then dropped to 10 at the next clean out. The break was where the pipe 45’d down from the penetration. Due to where the break was and how we would have been dinging up bushes to replace the clean outs, we only replaced the piping from the penetration to just before the clean outs. We then packed the pipe in and filled the dirt grading as we went. Customer checked the grading and did not want pine straw laid down. Water heater has no expansion tank and customer is aware. Water pressure is set to 75 psi.
Came back on 06/18/26 to refill the upstairs system up with R-410A refrigerant per homeowner request. System has a leak and they are aware. This work is not guaranteed that it will work properly for a while. Added 3lbs of refrigerant R-410A to bring the superheat down to 9 since evaporator coil has a piston. System is cooling properly at this time.
Friendly, Knowledgable service!

We have had a few services with TE Certified now and each time has been a great experience. Prices are reasonable, and service is fast and professional.
Could I have hung 4 ceiling fans and added another outlet to my kitchen island myself? Yes, but having TE do the work meant it was done quickly and cleanly and I didn’t have multiple trips to Home Depot. The price seemed reasonable but I didn’t shop around and I’ve not hired anyone for these things in years. I’m glad I used your company as the work is done, it was done well and my home is all the better for it.
Very Professional and Did a great job . We are grateful and thankful for the great job he did!
I called and was able to schedule an estimate for the same day. They arrived on time, provided the estimate and completed the work in an hour. The quoted price was much lower than other bids I had received.
Every TE Certified Tech for Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC that we have met have all been kind, courteous, knowledgeable and did an excellent job! Pricing cost may seem high, but you get what you pay for and peace of mind knowing job is done correctly!
Our insurance company wanted me to hire a plumber to find the source of our slow leak in the kitchen. The dispatcher worked hard to help me with my schedule to find same day service since I had standing water. I was grateful for that. The plumbers found the leaking from my refrigerator helping me to get immediate mitigation started. I’m very impressed with the company and the plumbers that they sent.
Terrific!
I just bought a 4 year old house and you would think everything would be alright. Well, there are issues and I am thankful that Rusty found things I wasn't aware of. Obviously the previous owners didn't use TE Certified. I used them at my last house and was always very happy with the service.
