Arrived on site to look at light bulbs not working. We provided and installed 5 landscape light bulbs for the back yard. We provided and installed 4 bulbs for soffit light by the garage. We supplied and installed two flood light bulbs for the back yard flood light. Everything is working upon departure.

Installed new fan-delier in the playroom, put in a new 20a CH all in one breaker for the microwave circuit and troubleshot the master bath circuit tripping the dual function breaker.

Performed one system inspection today. Lennox system was installed 2023. Replaced client provided 16x25x5 box filter. System has adequate flood protection but the inline drain switch is not glued in and will leak. The furnace has rust inside so it appears it has already leaked at some point. The flood protection is also not wired correctly and will not shut the system down. I recommend repairing the wiring and glue switch in properly. We can flush the drain line as well with this service. TE Certified prefers a wet switch as the most sufficient flood protection device in the auxiliary drain pan as opposed to the current float switch device. Further observations revealed the condenser coil is very clogged and requires a chemical cleaning to reduce the concern for increased energy bills and component failures. Refrigerant temperature/pressure correlation is not within parameters. It could be the clogged coil or a concern for low refrigerant. System enhancement recommendation: APCO-X A

Performed a one time complete HVAC inspection. Initial observations of heating unit: Lennox furnace is 23 years old and has expired its life expectancy. The blower capacitor is below tolerance and will cause blower motor failure. The blower wheel is very dirty which reduces airflow by up to 20% increasing energy bills. It appears the gas valve was replaced previously. I observed the gas sediment trap is not installed correctly or to code compliance. This could have contributed to the valve failure along with age. Heat exchanger has a small crack and is a safety concern for carbon monoxide emissions. AC and coil are 15 years old and have also expired it’s life expectancy. Replaced 16x25x1 filter today. Drain line is leaking in the attic pan due to not being sealed at pvc fittings. I recommend repairing this to avoid potential flooding and water damage. Customers tankless was throwing the code 12. After further diagnosis with rinnai customer support they recommended we replace the flame rods and ignition.

For this job, customer initially called about quotes on toilet replacements and under sink filtration. Upon arrival, we tested the water pressure which was at 110 PSI. Let him know it would need to be replaced and also replaced the expansion tank (strapped up) as well as the recirculating pump for the Grundfos Alpha to help preserve his pex water lines and save water and energy for the home. The T and P valve was not properly adjusted to drain into the floor drain so we fixed that issue as well. We also replaced all toilet water stops and replaced old supply lines with the stainless steel braided ones. Tested everything for leaks and all works as it should at this time. New PRV was set to 65 PSI and new expansion tank to 70 PSI. As for the replacement toilets and RO system, we left options for those with the customer and once they decide, will give us a call and we will work in the scheduling of said work. Add new bathroom outlet

For this job I came out to reattach water hose for washer machine that we replaced valves for washer box, customer noticed that washer machine box was not replaced only valves were. I connected back to hot/ cold for, valves to washer machine replacing supply lines and washers. Customer currently doesn’t have a hose hook pipe to hold discharge line into waste line. Recommended customer to install one to prevent discharge line from coming out of pipe and leaking water when washing clothes. Tested and checked for leaks conducted a super clean up.

Repair vertical hot water pipe that has pin hole leak. Connected water back to system and turn water on to test for leaks. Found no issues with work that has been completed and water dripping out of pipe has been taken care of.

Made repair on gas line near meter. Used bubble solution to locate leak. Once located we shut off gas to that section of pipe and disconnected the adapter going from track pipe to black iron. The original installer did not cut the track pipe properly causing the seal to be compromised resulting in a leak. We re-terminated the adapter and tightened properly. Restored gas to the line and tested multiple times for 30 minutes with bubble solution. Leak has been repaired properly. Painted all gas piping as well. Thank you for choosing TE Certified.

Demo out all unwanted and unused RG6 cables. We also demoed out the splitter and filled the holes with white silicone. The customer still has the AT&T fiber lines. As a courtesy we also combined a multi wire branch circuit to 1 breaker.

Upon arrival, met with customer and spoke with him regarding their issue. Customer has been experiencing frequent clogs over the last. 3-4 days from the two main level toilets. Customer has experienced clogs like this sporadically before but not this frequently. Home is twelve years old. There is an unfinished basement beneath the main level. Ran all fixtures in both bathrooms on the main level. All fixtures drained properly and toilets flushed correctly at this time. No bubbling or gurgling or slow draining occurred at this time. Opened 4” cleanout outside of the home near the front door. No water holding inside of cleanout and customer flushed both toilets inside. Water is flowing properly through to the cleanout. I recommended a camera inspection to inspect all the way to the city tap connection to confirm that there are no issues further downstream. For this job, I did a troubleshoot for a light fixture in the pantry not working findings, Switch is bad and voltage was not correct at fixture, replaced bad switch, everything was tested and is working properly.

Arrived on site for an early bird $59 special. Client shared that he’s lived in the home 8 years and the system is. 2016 trane split system. They have no concerns or issues with the system just wanted their annual inspection. We tested heating and cooling, checking all operations, performance, cleanliness and overall condition. The system was heating and cooling effectively despite some shortcomings. We discovered the outdoor coil was very dirty, capacitor was out of spec, and the heat exchanger is breached. We spoke about Homecare and regular maintenace and he paid today via check which will be turned in Monday morning.

Performed two system homecare maintenance today. Flushed drain lines and added enzymes for traps confirming drains are clear today. ML 16x25x1 filter replaced today. UL 14x20x1 was still clean and left new filter for next replacement. All system operating parameters have been tested to be within range at this time. Condenser coils are starting to get dirty and recommend a chemical cleaning to provide peak performance of your HVAC systems. These systems are 9 years old and reaching their life expectancy. These systems manufacturer’s warranty expires next year if they were registered for 10 year warranty on parts. If they were not registered they only had a 5 year part warranty which would put these as expired in 2022. Client approved chemical cleaning of both condenser coils today and performed service.

For today’s visit, I came out to inspect a water leak that was in the wall behind the kitchen sink. Remediation has already been out and removed the drywall and the cabinets in order for us to inspect the leak. After testing, both drains in the kitchen found that the PVC drain serving the left side of the two compartment sink had a crack in it due to old age. There was significant amount of water damage to the wood where the drain lines were running through that would need to be repaired prior to running the kitchen drain. For today’s scope of work, I removed all of the existing drains in the kitchen wall down to the basement ceiling and strictly ran a vertical drain from the basement ceiling up to the vent, allowing for the remediation team to cut out and replace the sections of damaged wood. Since the wall and the basement ceiling were open, gave the homeowner an option for going ahead and replacing existing copper in that area, due to the copper, being in rough condition, and showin

Wire and install new outlet

Cooling issue. Found system working properly on arrival, customer stated they have been having intermittent issue with condenser turning off short after running or not turning on at all. Checked electrical components and found windings for motor reading at OL, replaced condenser fan motor under warranty per customer request. Ac coil was also dirty, performed condenser coil cleaning as well. Tested system after work and checked refrigerant pressures, system running as it should at this time.

Upon arrival, met with customer and spoke with them regarding their issue. Customer was experiencing a clogged toilet yesterday and wanted it unclogged and inspected. I inspected the toilet and ran multiple fixtures inside the bathroom. All fixtures drained properly and the toilet did not bubble or gurgle. Flushed toilet multiple times with and without toilet paper. Toilet flushed properly at this time. We installed this toilet 2-3 years ago, it is a pressure assist toilet. Also inspected cleanout outside to ensure water is flowing properly from the bathroom to the sewer. After confirming everything is draining correctly I spoke with the customer regarding my findings and gave them the option of replacing the toilet with a Kohler Kingston. Customer does not want to replace the toilet at this time especially considering everything is working right now. Customer is satisfied and was only charged a travel fee for today’s visit as no work was performed.

Performed a Homecare hvac inspection on two systems. Technician checked heating and cooling operations, cleaned the condensation drains, changed filters as needed, tested safety components, and observed system performances. Technician performed a chemical cleaning on the outside coil for the main level system. The homeowner stated that the outside wires are deteriorating from the main level system and was mentioned in the past. The technician replaced the exposed wire portion outside. Both systems are performing well at this time.

Upon arrival, I met with the owners. The disposal recently stopped running and is jammed. Because of this, the sink is also backing up into itself. The disposal is 13 years old and they’ve had other issues with it before. At this time, we are replacing the disposal. I removed the old disposal, cleaned the wiring. Replaced the collar in the sink, installed the new 1/2 hp disposal and tested. There are no leaks or errors at this time. Remove existing garbage disposal, furnish and install new garbage disposal, connect electrical wiring, connecting all drain lines replace as needed, test unit, clean-up, product overview and maintenance care with customer. Includes new Insinkerator Badger 1/2 HP Unit.
