Job Locations and Reviews
For this job came out and replaced existing water heater with customers approval, installed 12 year warranty water heater. Also ran a new t&p line for heater because existing one was ran in pex. Tested and checked for leaks and conducted a super clean up.
Full system replacement with all new zoning for main floor and basement of home.
Arrived on site for a diagnostic to help explain why the system struggles to keep up with cooling demands, they mentioned that they have had the system topped off with refrigerant before but today the system seemed properly charged and we collected 18 degree temp splits. I did discovered the duct design was very poor, filter cabinet was open and pulling in 115 degree air and mixing with return air and the condenser coil was very heavily impacted. We discussed our findings and explained how the issue may be due to a few discrepancies. We changed the filter as well to help the system breathe better. It’s a single stage system with 2 zones, which is poor application for efficient and cooling capacity. They decided to tackle a condenser coil cleaning and joined Homecare to continue to have the system looked at. System is cooling well and is keeping the home 73 degrees on a hot day in the mid 90s. System is operational despite so,e design flaws. Call complete.
Great service
My tech Aiden quickly determined the problem, offered several solutions and completed repairs quickly. He was very polite and friendly and explained everything for me.
Replace faulty smoke detector
We troubleshot outlets in the kitchen, not working and found that they were miswired. We rewired them and everything is working correctly.
The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Capacitor failed. Replaced with approval. Compressor windings also stuck. Able to cool off compressor to get unit back to cooling. Advised homeowner that system is beyond its life expectancy and that consideration for replacement may need to be taken. Thank you for choosing TE certified!
Upon arrival, we met with the owner. They recently found water around the floor of the master toilet and stopped using it two weeks ago but there was water on the floor when we arrived. I tested and found the toilet tank is leaking and will at least need to be rebuilt. We were approved to do so. I drained and removed the tank, replaced the fill valve, supply, flush valve, flapper and bolts, and tank to bowl gasket. Reset, tested and confirmed no leaks or errors. Toilet rebuild. Shut off water supply, remove water from tank and bowl, disconnect supply line from tank, remove old bolts, pull the tank from the bowl, remove the gasket, disassemble the flush tower, remove the fill valve, install washers on tank to bowl connections, install new brass bolts and gaskets, connect tank to bowl and secure, install new flapper, inspect service stop, install a new supply line and connect, fill tank, make final adjustments for proper flush, and clean up work area.
No t getting air for the upstairs. One system, two zones. Upstairs damper is bad and not opening. Replaced damper. Inspected system with no issues. All safety protection devices installed. Tested dampers and there multiple times. No other issue at this visit.
Installed two customer supplied toilets. Removed old toilets and checked flanges for damage. Installed one toilet in the powder room and one in the upstairs hall bathroom. Both toilets have been tested and sealed around the base. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
Upon arrival, we met with the owner. The garbage disposal is reportedly leaking. We tested and confirmed it is leaking internally. The disposal is over 10 years old and will need to be replaced. We went over the options and were approved to install a 3/4 hp mainline disposal. We removed the old disposal and collar, installed the new unit and tested. Confirmed no leaks or errors. Remove existing garbage disposal, furnish and install a new garbage disposal, connect electrical wiring, connecting all drain lines replace as needed, test unit, clean-up, product overview, and maintenance care with the customer. Includes new 3/4 HP MainLine Grind Smart with 10 Year Manufacturer Warranty.
Repaired moen flow with customer supplied parts.
At arrival on 06/29/26 Issue: no cool System: whole home Finding: bad outdoor capacitor, extremely dirty filter, extremely dirty condenser coil, weak contactor, no wet safety switch, no Ss1 safety switch, improper flu pipe, dirty blower wheels, potentially clogged drain line. Recommendations: address the above or upgrade your system. Homeowner only approved to only replace outdoor capacitor. Properly replaced capacitor only. System is not cooling properly at this time due to dirty condenser coil and dirty air filter.
Today we came out for the main level not cooling 2004 Lennox 2 ton r22 single stage with 2024 rheem furnace. Cycled equipment checked operations found failed duel motor starter serving condenser fan motor and compressor. With this part failing compressor and condenser fan motor has been damaged. Client agreed to band aid repair and we will schedule install supervisor to give options on updating. Installed hard start kit and duel motor starter on compressor. Left equipment operational although it could fail at anytime equipment needs to be updated.
Replaced concentric vent for Rinnai REP160i. Installed new 90 and termination pipe. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
Wire and install new outlet
No Cool Visit - Main/Basement Equipment is completely flat on refrigerant indicating a severe refrigerant leak. Advised customer will have to perform a nitrogen leak check to confirm where the leak or leaks exist. Based upon the age of the equipment and the cost of repairs strongly, recommend looking into replacement options.
Thorough and excellent work
We arrived on site with the customer complaining of flickering lights. After a troubleshoot, we determined that the issue was a damaged part in the meter can. We left multiple quotes for service upgrades and meter replacements.
For this job the customer stated that one of the gas lanterns located on the front porch was not lighting. Going into the attic we isolated the copper line that was running to the lantern. Removing the flared fitting from the gas line in the attic showed there was adequate gas, however, disconnecting the line at the lantern itself showed no signs of gas flow. To remedy the situation we disconnected the gas line at both ends and pressurized the line with air. A large amount of debris was pushed out the line and once reconnected the lantern was functioning properly. I also spoke with the customer about the pressure issue for the home which was due to an aged pressure regulator and failed expansion tank. The customer is considering the options and will let us know in the near future.
Completed a 1 system Homecare and cleaned the condenser coil. We were out a few weeks back and completed a comprehensive evaluation of the systems performance. We arrived back onsite today to completed quoted repairs. We deep cleaned the condensing unit to take some stress off of the condenser during calls for cooling. We began by removing the large debris from the coils, sprayed chemical cleaner and deep cleaned the remainder of the coils removing all dust, dirt and debris from the condensing unit. System is operating properly and home is satisfied at 73 degrees. Payment collected via credit card. Call complete.
Customer will have Sheetrock removed prior for access. Will install tee and extend cold water supply from basement to kitchen for ice maker, connect, and test for operation. 6-26-26 replaced hosebib on exterior wall of garage as courtesy.
Initial observations of 3 zone system revealed water in the auxiliary drain pan. 20x22x1 filter is currently clean. Drain line is clogged and requires clearing and reconfiguration for proper flow and easy cleaning. There is insufficient flood protection and recommend upgrading with an inline switch and wet switch for the pan replacing the existing float switch as this switch allows too much water to fill the pan before shutting the system off. This leaves the pan vulnerable for overflowing or leaking onto the ceiling below. Cycled all 3 zones in cooling and system is slightly low in refrigerant. The evaporator coil temperature is below freezing at 31 degrees and this will cause inefficiencies. Complimentary leak test revealed refrigerant leaks at the evaporator coil. This system is only 4 years old, however it is only single stage equipment with 3 separate zones. This causes inefficiencies and stress on the system as it attempts to heat/cool a small zone and cannot regulate its airflo
Check out power outlet if is ok to use for laminator
Installed whole home surge protection
Performed spring maintenance on whole home system. Replaced air filter, checked blower wheel for built up dirt/dust, cleaned flame sensor, cleared inducer port, tested hot surface igniter, took delta Ts, cleared drain line, tested safety switch, tested all electrical components, tightened all electrical connections, took running volts/amps, checked refrigerant pressures, and monitored systems operations. Replaced thermostat with Ecobee The subcool and superheat are high. The suction pressure is low, the head pressure is a bit low, delta T is low. Consequently system has a liquids line restriction. Needs to replace TXV an filter drier to mitigate issue. No wet safety swich
Arrived on site to troubleshoot a system that wasn’t working properly a few weeks back. Recently the system has been running normally but a few weeks ago they had the thermostat set to 76 and inside got up to 84. It’s a 9 year old Lennox without any faults or failures. Operating pressures were good with a 14 degree superheat and 9 degree subcool. Temp split wan22 degrees and the filter and drains were clean. The blower capacitor is out of spec and the condenser coils would benefit from a wash but as it stands today there is no mechanical or electrical issues causing performance drawbacks. We were unable to reverse engineer or duplicate the issues from last week but today the system ran flawlessly.

We have had a few services with TE Certified now and each time has been a great experience. Prices are reasonable, and service is fast and professional.
Could I have hung 4 ceiling fans and added another outlet to my kitchen island myself? Yes, but having TE do the work meant it was done quickly and cleanly and I didn’t have multiple trips to Home Depot. The price seemed reasonable but I didn’t shop around and I’ve not hired anyone for these things in years. I’m glad I used your company as the work is done, it was done well and my home is all the better for it.
Very Professional and Did a great job . We are grateful and thankful for the great job he did!
