Replaced corrugated drain to shampoo bowl. Tested for leaks and function, all good. No warranty on customer supplied parts. Thank you for choosing T.E. Certified.
Upon arrival, we met with the owner. The toilet in the main level bathroom recently clogged and they believe a toy had fallen in. We tested and confirmed the issue was isolated to the toilet. We shut off, drained and removed the toilet. We removed a toy from inside the toilet. Reset with a new wax ring and bolts. Filled, tested and confirmed no leaks or errors. I also noticed the tub spout in the same bathroom was loose and I secured it as a courtesy and added a bead of silicone around the seam. pull toilet manually remove obstruction and reset toilet
Upon arrival, the tenants brought me to a toilet that wasn’t flushing sufficiently. I quickly adjusted the fill valve to bring the bowl to its proper flushing level. After examining key components of the system, I found the water heater ruptured and the pressure of the home over 125psi. I replaced the water heater and PRV, which included new shutoffs, expansion tank, fittings, a pan and safety updates per code. All work was tested and checked for leaks. The pressure was set to 65psi.
Customer called us out for a partial home back up. On arrival toilets and shower were filled with sewage. I recommended pulling the toilet and running a cable machine down the line. Customer agreed. I vacuumed all the water out first then ran a cable down the line clearing the blockage. I left the toilets pulled at property medics request. I cleaned up and tested throughly. A sewer supervisor was with me and confirmed it was clear.
I was called out to Carl’s house for a Homecare maintenance. During the evaluation we discovered the two systems in the attic need the uv bulbs replaced as it has been over two years since last time, main system has a crack in the heat exchanger making it unsafe to use for heating, the wheel/coil/ac need cleaned, and the ac is missing its locking caps, the master system has duct board plenums and the wheel needs cleaned, and the basement system can benefit from a bluetube to prevent biological growth. The basement system’s condensate pump tubing has collapsed and is causing the pump to run hard but due to how it was installed we will need a plumber to replace the pump and reroute the tubing. Due to the potential repair cost for the main system replacement is a viable option to update everything and renew warranties with a new system.
For this job, we returned to install 4 new toilets which was previously quoted on our last visit. We installed 4 toilets, checked all flanges, installed new supply lines, and wax seals. Once complete we caulked all the toilets with clear caulk, and checked for any leaks. No issues found. Thank you for choosing TE Certified.
Home care inspection on one system (5 years old). Replaced filter, cleared drain line. System is working properly in heating and cooling mode. Recommend to install an in line switch (to prevent water in the drain pan, in case of drain line get clogged) and a blue tube uv light (to give better air quality to the house and to protect equipment from build up biological growth inside). No issue at this visit.
For this call, homeowner called in regarding strapping an expansion tank up. Upon arrival and inspection of water heater area, we noticed the previous installers had the expansion tank sitting on wood blocks to support it and also noticed the water heater nipples had flex lines leading up to the copper so we bundled that fix into our estimate for replacing the expansion tank. There was also a shark bite ball valve we bundled in for replacement as well. We set the PSI to the new expansion tank to 70. As a courtesy, we placed a leak alarm by the water heater due to there being no pan. After we completed said work, we thoroughly tested everything for leaks and none could be found. Everything works as it should at this time. Thank you for trusting TE Certified with all your plumbing needs.
Returned to add refrigerant to main floor system. Previous estimate was 3-4lbs of refrigerant. Actual amount was 2lbs. Checked water safeties and air temps. Let system run for 30 minutes to verify refrigerant was correct.
Upon arrival spoke to customer about his 14 year old water heater with a burner that would not ignite. Checked water pressure and got a reading of 90. Gave options. Removed zurn nr3 pressure reducing valve and installed a watts 25aub. Set regulator to 65 psi. Removed old heater. Installed new 50 gallon heater with a 10 year warranty. Heater was installed in a pan with a water alarm. Installed new piping, shut off valve, expansion tank and gas fittings. Upgraded venting to double wall venting. All piping was insulated. Valve tag was added. All work was completed to code. Heater was set to 120 degrees.
Arrived today to look at a leaking water heater. During my evaluation of the system I noticed the water pressure was over 100 psi, the thermal expansion tank was failed, the water heater T&P was failed and leaking, the foam insulation was melted, and no leak alarm had been installed previously. Replaced water heater and prv. Installed with new pan, leak alarm, gas connections and bonded gas line for WH, new thermal expansion tank pressurized to 5 psi higher than static, and new shut off valve. Set new prv to 65 and set new WH temp to 120. Insulated hot and cold with fiber glass insulation. Tested all work for proper function. Thank you for choosing TE Certified.
For this job, the customer just purchased the home, and had a couple issues that were in the inspection report they wanted taken care of. The customer opted to go ahead and replace the water heater, regulator, and the 3 issues in the upstairs guest bathroom. In the bathroom I replaced the hot, and cold shut off. Then the pop up and tub spout for the shower. Once complete I tested everything for leaks, and function. The customer also showed me another issue under the kitchen sink they found, and I left options to fix issues they will reach out when ready to proceed with work. Thank you for choosing TE Certified.
Replacement of worn out bathroom and outside oitlets after pressure washing. Replaced GFCI Device and all receptacles connected to that circuit. All outdoor receptacles are weather resistant and sealed on bubble covers.
Homeowner called us out for a front yard leak. After investigating the issue and considering the age of the home and existing system, I discussed both repair and replacement options with the homeowner, explaining that a repair may not be a long-term solution due to the age and condition of the line. The homeowner approved the repair option. Upon excavation, I found a leaking 1-inch blue poly line. I completed the repair, pressurized the system, and monitored the repair for 25 minutes with no leaks present. After backfilling, the homeowner assisted by opening all faucets to help purge the system, and no issues were present at this time.
I just bought a 4 year old house and you would think everything would be alright. Well, there are issues and I am thankful that Rusty found things I wasn't aware of. Obviously the previous owners didn't use TE Certified. I used them at my last house and was always very happy with the service.
Today we completed HomeCare maintenance inspections on two Lennox HVAC systems and reviewed system condition, airflow, electrical components, drain safety, duct construction, and overall equipment reliability. Upstairs System / 2020 Lennox Zoned System The 2020 Lennox system serving the upstairs bedrooms and hall is a single-stage zoned system. We found heavy rust on the evaporator capillary tubes, and the blower capacitor tested outside the proper operating tolerance. Both the air distribution/plenum boxes are constructed from fiberglass duct board. Recommended options: Option A: Repair and Protection Path Replace the 15 mfd blower capacitor (completed while onsite). Option B: Indoor Air Quality Improvement Install a Blue-Tube UV light at the evaporator coil. This helps keep the coil area cleaner and can reduce biological growth inside the air stream. Option C: System Planning Path Due to the rust found at the evaporator section and the current condition of the duct/plenum setu
For this job I came out and replaced an existing hose spigot that had an existing hose connection stuck to it. I cut open the wall in the house to access pipe and connected back to existing plumbing. I mounted and secured new hose spigot and sealed it with silicone. Tested and checked for leaks and conducted a super clean up.
Customer had a water leak in the front yard. Customer had someone else out to fix the leak but we’re not able to locate it. We were able to trace the leak and find it and repair a 8 inch section of piping with 1” pex with two stainless steal couplings.
Great job. Friendly, had all the parts and fixed the issue on Saturday before I have to go out of town. Will be using this company from now on.
Replaced thermal expansion tank

This job conducted leak detection services for homeowner discovered leak in the yard approximately 15 feet off the front of the house between two bushes. Area has been marked with flags. I left homeowner two estimates to replace because she said she wanted a forever fix instead of just a spot repair.
Customer called us out to replace the collar on the kitchen garbage disposal. I gave the customer multiple options and she chose t have just a collar put in. I had to cut the collar out due to rust. The disposal itself was in ok condition but very rusty on the collar.customer decided she wanted to replace it with one of a similar series. I installed the new collar, power cord and p trap. Tested everything and it was running well. I cleaned throughly.
Agustin and his associate Alex arrived exactly on schedule to perform hardware remodeling and replacement work in our main bath. All the work was completed beautifully in the timeframe quoted. We cannot say enough about how friendly, efficient and knowledgeable Agustin was to work with. We can be a bit picky about design features but this project was a breeze. Agustin totally understood the hardware design we were looking for. He researched, found lovely coordinating hardware for each of the three installation sights. In addition , both gentlemen were so very careful to protect the property as they moved through the project. This was a really excellent experience.
Completed repairs of issue causing breaker to trip
Install GFCI circuit breaker for pool lights
Performed 2 system homecare maintenance today. Replaced both 16x20x1 filters, flushed drain lines and confirmed they are clear at this time. I did add a vent to the attic drain that should have been added with the inline water safety device. This was complimentary no charge. Tested all water safety devices to be functioning properly. UL system appears to be low in refrigerant. Subcool reading should be 9 degrees and it’s fluctuating between 0 and 3 degrees. This will create inefficiency of this system even though it’s still cooling at this time. Leak test was inconclusive and no leaks have been detected at this time. Client approved adding refrigerant to this system today adding 3# R410A and system now has 9 degrees subcool for peak performance. All other systems operational parameters are within range. ML/LL zones are operating simultaneously and independently as well. I did observe that your flood protection while functional, is insufficient. We recommend upgrading the pan float swit
For this call, we returned with the necessary tub trim and valve combo and the two faucets for the master bathroom. After laying protection down, we set up our tools and began the removal of the old sink faucets as well as the tub faucet as the homeowners already cut the access for us. We then began putting together the sink faucets and putting the drains back on those, which was cleaned out when we took them off. Tested those traps and new supply lines for leaks and are working as they should with no leaks. Finished with the tub faucet and valve and installed ball valves beneath them to isolate them for future maintenance. Again tested for leaks and none were found. Everything is working as it should at this time. Thank you for trusting TE Certified with all your plumbing needs.
Everything from a seasonal check to the seasonal maintenance needs and extended coil. Cleaning has been outstanding.
