Troubleshot landscape lights not working; Installed a single pole switch to act as a disconnect for the landscape lights in the basement so that when the generator is being used the customer can manually turn off the landscape lights from inside the home.

Troubleshoot, install gfci protection for disposal, fix wiring for disposal switch and outlet.

During a severe storm, a tree split and fell onto the home’s overhead electrical service line, violently pulling the existing 47-year-old SEU wiring from within the exterior wall and damaging the Romex wiring supplying a nearby receptacle. The significant mechanical force compromised the integrity of the conductors and insulation, requiring replacement. Because the existing meter lacked an exterior main disconnect, local jurisdictional requirements prohibited replacement of the damaged SEU within the dwelling under the existing configuration. A permitted electrical service reconstruction was necessary to meet applicable electrical code requirements. The electrical panel had been replaced previously and was compatible with the new service equipment. Main floor had a bad dual run cap and missing armaflex. This was fixed today. Main floor condenser is from 2009, if compressor fails or system has a leak, replacement parts may not be available. Found outdoor coils needing maintenance. Furnaces are over there life span. Found rust in heat exchangers. Blower motor,combustion motors are over amping. Customer called about a leak in home. TE inspected leak by cutting sheet rock in ceiling and running water in tub above. Repaired overflow assembly by replacing gasket. Tested for leaks.

Upon arrival, met with customer and spoke with him regarding their issue. Customer showed me inside and to the main level half bathroom. Customer states that while cleaning he accidentally flushed a towel/cloth down the toilet. Since then it has flushed very slowly or not at all. I confirmed this issue is isolated to the toilet. Customer did not have other concerns that he would like checked at this time. Whole house water pressure is below the code limit @75psi. I recommended that a service plumber comes out to the home to give the customer options to replace their thirteen year old water heater (40gal gas) and the PRV. Customer did not want to schedule a service plumber at this time and will reach out at a later date. I gave the customer options to clear the toilet and after getting signature approval began work. Ran closet auger down toilet and removed the towel/cloth that was flushed down. Flushed toilet several times and with the customer confirmed that the toilet is flushing well

Basement wall where water valves are there is a section that will need to be cut to 36”x10” and replaced with new drywall and install 2 access panels for the valves. Basement ceiling needs to be patched with 18 1/2”x11” drywall. Install studs to keep drywall level. Apply mesh tape and multiple coats of mud. Sand. Paint. Put back baseboard. Caulk. Paint.
