Compressor was shorted to ground and leaking from the plug, also found capacitor to be faulty bubbled out. Replaced compressor and filter drier. Brazed with nitrogen. Did pressure test. System held 300 psi on both sides for 20 minutes. (NO LEAKS) pulled vacuum to 500 microns and weighed in the correct refrigerant charge. Compressor is out of warranty. Homeowner is aware. Systems pressures were acting kind of strange after putting in charge but eventually equalized. This Band-Aid option comes as no warranty repair. I will follow up with the homeowner in two months to perform an inspection of the system.

Today we came out to complete quoted repairs. We cleaned condenser coil, evaporator coil, and blower wheel. We installed a contactor and hard start kit at condenser. We installed APCO X uv light in supply plenum and air ionizer inside of return plenum. I removed single wall flue pipe and put in double wall flue pipe. Given the space and logistics, it’s impossible to get a one inch clearance in 2 areas for the flue pipe. I installed an extra layer of sheet metal where the flue pipe is touching a return duct and a plumping pipe. When we started removing old insulation on supply duct we found asbestos tape all throughout. We notified home owner and they are going to have a mitigation company come out to remove all asbestos and then will call us back so I can insulate supply ducts.

Upon arrival customer that downstairs system was not working properly, stated for a week unit has been struggling. Ac unit is 20 years old, gas furnace is 14 years old. Found that system has a failed condenser fan motor, compressor was in thermal lockout and over heated. Contactor is bad, outdoor capacitor is bad. Condenser coils very clogged and dirty, checked indoor unit filter was very clogged and dirty hasn’t been changed in 3 years causing blower lot or to pull high amps and about to fail. Evaportor coil is rusted. Advised customer of issues with system, customer had install supervisor scheduled today and was on site, customer is proceeding forward with replacement of downstairs system. Signed customer up for 2 system homecare. Changed AprilAire (16x25x4) media filter for upstairs.

After arriving, the homeowner informed me that he has a outlet in his garage that doesn’t work, it is a dedicated line that TE ran for his outdoor fridge and freezer that appears to be on a safety dual function breaker. The fridge and freezer are older appliances and may not be meshing well with the new safety breaker so after I take a look and see what’s going on, if that appears to be the case, I will give the homeowner an option to get that outlet swapped with a high frequency GFI and the breaker changed to an arc fault. This option includes troubleshooting the outlet, swapping the fixture above the sink and above the side counter to new LED fixtures, swapping the two switches for those two lights to smart dimmer switches provided by the tech who will go purchase them, and adding an outlet below the switch to the back patio.

We worked on replacing 2 under cabinet lights, replacing 2 switches with smart dimmable casseta switches, adding an outlet below the back door switch, and replacing the dedicated garage outlet with a high frequency GFCI to hopefully mitigate nuisance tripping. Thanks for using TE!

For this job, I Performed a diagnostic service on an existing 20A, 240V pool pump branch circuit due to persistent breaker tripping after installation of a new circuit breaker and new pool pump. I Verified proper breaker installation and inspected all accessible wiring and terminations. I Conducted electrical troubleshooting to isolate the source of the fault. I Performed insulation resistance testing (megohmmeter test) on the branch circuit. I also walked the tenant through the process so he could see how it worked. The Test results confirmed an insulation fault in the underground feeder conductors between the main electrical panel and the pool pump disconnect. The fault is located within the original buried circuit installed with the home and is causing the breaker to trip. Came in today becuase system was leaking. When inspecting system found that drain was completely clogged from lack of maintenance and a lot of must growing inside the system. Also found compressor weakening. Le5 costumer know about this issues and presented options. Costumer de died to move forward only with drain repairs at this time. Work was done and tested. Customer signed off on a panel replacement. We performed the following work; - Replace with Square D QO 54 spaced panel and installed smart safety breakers. - Install Whole Home Surge Protector device - Labeled panel schedule - Updated grounding system [ ground rods, PRV , & water heater bonding ] GA power was unable to restore power Thursday , however we were able to get them back on track to restore power on Friday. We performed a thorough walkthrough with the customers and received payment.

This will be a half service upgrade since Jeffery has already replaced the main panel with dual functions. We will set a new 200 amp square d combo meter with a new riser. We will use the existing i bolt for securing. We will run a new service cable to enphase, and from Enphase to main panel. We will need to replace the Eaton breaker in emphase for a 200 amp breaker

Customer called us out for dishwasher not draining properly. Discharge hose was disconnected and did not see any clog at this time as well as no clog in kitchen sink drain/disposal. Recommended customer reach out to an appliance company to further diagnose.

For this job, I came to look at a system in which the customer was experiencing a mold smell. I proceeded to perform a thorough diagnosis and found several issues within the system. In terms of the smell, under the evaporator coil it is filled with biological growth and debris. I also inspected the heat exchanger which I found water and deterioration. Arrive customer stated system overflowed with water and she vacuumed up water. Arrived there was no water in drain line or drain pan. No water on the floor. Checked indoor unit. Flushed and treated drain line. Flushed 2 gallons of water to ensure proper drainage. blower wheel has some dust buildup. Checked outdoor unit. Checked capacitor, contactor, and pressures. Pressures slightly low. Performed quick electronic leak search got no hit on either coil. Customer approved, adding refrigerant. Added 2 pounds of 410 a. Brought some cool up from a 3 to a 10.

Came in today because system was not keeping up. When testing system found that evaporator coil was leaking refrigerant making system running constantly and not keeping up with temperature, also system does not has proper ductwork causing issues with air distribution and air flow. Let’s costumer know about this issues and presented options including system upgrade in conjunction with ductwork upgrade. Costumer decided to proceed with repairs only at this time and try to wait a little longer before replacing full system and ductwork. Costumer understand that after repairs system is not going to work as efficient as used to considering the week compressor and that the ductwork issues, however system up and running at this time. Upon arrival, met with customer and spoke with her regarding their issue. Customer showed me inside and upstairs to the master bathroom shower which is not draining well. Customer states there was standing water prior to my arrival. I ran the other fixtures in the bathroom and confirmed that this issue is isolated to the shower drain. Customer states they do not have anything else causing them concern that they would like looked at this time. Presented customer with options to clear the shower drain and after getting signature approval I began work. Removed drain cover and broke up a large amount of hard water deposits inside the drain. I then ran a drain machine and removed a hair clog from inside the p trap for the shower. Flushed drain with multiple gallons of hot water. Shower is now draining well. Cleaned work area. Customer is satisfied.

Our client had a defective section cast, and piping on the kitchen sink lead. This entire section has been removed and replaced with PVC. It has been tested for leaks. No leaks have been found. A client also had a sump pump that need to be replaced as well as a leak on a hot water line. These issues have been resolved as well. Our client is very satisfied with the service that’s provided today.

On today’s visit I met with the homeowner. The homeowner expressed an issue with a clogged toilet. I wrote options to perform work and received approval. I was able to clear the clog with my auger. I then tested the toilet by flushing with and with toilet paper. The toilet is now unclogged. Perform draining clearing on toilet. Drain clear only. Does not include repairs or main line clearing. No warranty on drain clearing.
