Austin and Johnny were great, both respectful and a delight to work with. We had our water heater replaced and new routed piping, and then some insulation installed on our AC line that was damaged by the drywall install that started leaking through. Both projects look great.

Customer opted out of inspection due to the system recently being inspected by another company. Customer would like to be scheduled for spring inspection with TE and for Austin to be their technician. Customer had water damage in garage wall due to smash insulation. Removed lineset insulation and installed fresh insulation with up rated tape.

For this job, I conducted lead detection services as a TGL for original technician Nathan. During my investigation, I drained all the water from the plumbing system in the home and introduce compressed air via the hose bib on the rear of the home, just outside of the laundry room. And then used my sonar detection device to listen for the compressed air escaping the line, and I discovered it about 15 inches off of the Watermain service penetration foundation wall/in rear of home/area has been marked with blue flags.

Came out to customers house due to her main floor not cooling. Noticed dual capacitor/contactor are out of manufacturer specs, system is low on refrigerant, and evaporator coil is very rusty (potentially leaking refrigerant). Recommend replacing system due to age, cost of repairs being high, and being out of warranty. Customer approved bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. After I added the refrigerant I noticed the system also has a failing TXV. Thank you for choosing TE certified.

Homeowner called in in regards to a system not keeping up. I inquired if she’s had maintenance done recently, homeowner is unsure of the last time she had maintenance on the system. Homeowner was under the assumption of the system was 7 to 8 years old, equipment is currently 10 years old and is out of manufactures part warranty. Found the return to be missing roughly 400 CFM’s. This is the equivalent of running a 4 ton unit with the efficiency of a 3 ton. System does not have any flood protection, not even a float switch. (NO FLOOD PROTECTION) Drain line for the horizontal air handler has no clean out for the pee trap nor a vent stack. Explain to the homeowner she does not have any flood protection and the drain line is not done properly. Went outside found the capacitor to have a low reading. Recommended replacement homeowner approved. I advised her that the capacitor may not be the only issue with the system. After replacing the capacitor the subcool was still around .2/.3. Pressures

SERVICE CALL: Upon arrival homeowner stated the first floor hvac system Is not working properly on cooling mode. After complete troubleshooting I found the hvac system GOODMAN Contractor grade 3 1/2 ton capacity 2015 model about 11 years old is in Poor maintenance conditions the Pleated filter is dirty blower wheel is dirty run capacitor is out of spec from manufacture the inducer motor housing is full of water due to possible Leak at vent flue pipe. Test outdoor condenser unit coil its dirty test refrigerant charge pressures are extremely low perform courtesy electronic leak search at evaporator coil is completely rusted out and is leaking refrigerant. Due to aged and conditions recommend to upgrade complete System. Homeowner wants to get a Quote for new complete system And different options. Appointment is set for tomorrow 6/18/2026 At 8 to 10 to discuss options. Thanks for choosing te certified.
