I have only had my TE Certified HVAC for 10 months and have had over the top positive experiences since my first contact with the sales person, the installers, and now my first service call tech, Jaron. Homeowner signed up for Homecare plan today which consists of a heating check, a cooling check, an electric check, and a plumbing check each year. Membership also provides 10yr parts and labor warranty on hvac system. Did not change AprilAire 310 filter today, it is not a size we carry on the truck, homeowner ordered some today and will ask us to come out and change it when it arrives. System is clean and performing well. We set the thermostat to auto heat/cool, keeping the temperature in the house between 68 and 77 year round.

Upon arrival customer stated that heat was not working for 2 year old furnace. Did full evaluation of system and found several issues with system. There was active water leaking out furnace and into the system. Found that drain port inside system was not secured properly and the water from 90% furnace has been leaking in the unit rusting the unit out very badly. The flue pipe was not connected into the rubber fitting, had a small opening. Reconnected flue pipe. As inducer draft motor is running there is water inside compartment moving around. The pressure switch tube was filled with water that caused heat to stop working, system does not have 90% drain collector box installed on outside of cabinet to the condensation pump. Cleaned flame sensor. Due to all the rust in system recommended changing out furnace, customer had this furnace installed two years ago, she is going to get back in contact with company who installed it about repairs needed. Performed troubleshooting on a circuit controlling lights and outlets across three rooms. After an extensive diagnostic process, including inspection of outlets and switches, a loose connection was identified in the kitchen light box — the main junction point where the circuit feeds to other rooms. Proposed a wire tap repair to resolve the issue; however, the customer declined to proceed with the repair at this time. I did replace a dimmer switch in the kitchen that I accidentally broke.

Our client reached out to us to have her annual tankless water heater flushed. It’s process took over two hours to do due to a wasp 🐝 nest and no matter how much they were spray they kept coming back to the heater. However, the unit is clean now and up and operating with no leaks. Our client is happy.

SERVICE CALL: upon arrival homeowner stated the hvac system is not Working at all since 9 years old. After complete troubleshooting I found Complete system is in poor maintenance conditions plus system is 2006 model 19 years old r 22 refrigerant type which is already phased Out by EPA. The condenser fan motor failed and its overheating compressor and making loud noise condenser coil is highly impacted. System is 19 years old Already past life expectancy from manufacture which are 10 to 12 years Due to aged and conditions plus vs costs of repairs I recommend to upgrade complete system. Homeowner is aware of the conditions of the Equipment and she stated she will need a Quote for new system. Appointment was set for tomorrow between 11 to 2 pm to get a quote for New system. Customer will get a credit for today’s visit. Thanks for choosing Te certified.
