Came out to complete one system HVAC diagnostic over smells. Upon arrival, customer stated that there was no unusual smells in the home at this time and his AC system is currently working properly but said that he thinks that smells sometimes come and go from his air conditioner unit. Perform full system diagnostic over the entire system and found that the blower will has built up, the blower capacitor is bad and below range, the indoor coil is clean and is currently not producing any smell, ran camera inside of ductwork and currently found nothing inside of the duct. At this time, there is a floor drain inside of the utility closet behind the water heater, which may be producing smells due to their not being a trap. At this time, customer approved no options of repair. System is where customer left it.

No cooling call, upon arrival outdoor unit was not coming on checked for 24 volts call for cooling at furnace control board and control board was not receiving 24 volts, there is a break in the yellow wire going to thermostat, swapped Y terminal wire to blue, after swapping wire outdoor unit was receiving 24 volts, refrigerant levels look okay, compressor is overamping, recommended hardstart kit, ductwork for home is also not in good condition, crawlspace is not encapsulated, system also does not have any flood protection installed, recommended install supervisor to come out and quote replacement of AC and ductwork, also replaced bad contactor on outdoor unit that was reading 8 ohms, system is cooling properly at this time however system can fail at any point. Install supervisor is scheduled for Monday 11-2AM. The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

System inspection upon arrival system was running, checked system and found multiple issues with system, both dual and run capacitors are bad reading out of tolerance, system is also a little low on R-22 refrigerant, R-22 is obsolete as of January 2020, evaporator coil is heavily rusted, also insulation around Lineset is in bad condition, also Ptrap should be insulated, blower wheel is dirty, condenser coil is also dirty, there is also no flood protection installed to protect the home against any water damper that may occur due to a clogged drain line, we had one of out install supervisors run a load calculation on the home and the system is undersized for the square footage of the home, even if repairs are made the system is still not going to cool properly, system will need to be replaced with a bigger system in order to reach comfort levels inside of the home, without upsizing and replacing system existing system will not cool properly system is also 17 years old lifespan of a syste

The technician arrived at the property to investigate a water leak. After meeting with the homeowner, the source of the problem was identified at the water meter in the front yard. The leak was coming from a galvanized 90-degree elbow fitting on the home’s water service line. Inspection and Recommendation During the inspection, the technician explained that once the galvanized piping was exposed, any new connections made to the existing galvanized pipe could not be covered under warranty because of the age and condition of the material. To provide a more reliable long-term solution, the technician recommended replacing the entire water service line rather than making a localized repair. The homeowner approved the recommendation to replace the full water service line. As we arrived today customer explained to us she has lost power in her upstairs bedroom. After doing a troubleshoot on the affected area, we found one of the receptacles was burned pretty badly. We replaced the effective breaker and once that happened power was restored to the room. I did do a panel inspection while I was checking out everything in the home. Evaluated the sewer line and found tree roots and recommended a sectional repair and make proper connections

Installed 3 new customer supplied toilets along with new angle stops in all bathrooms. Replaced flange inside hallway bathroom due to deterioration. Flushed all toilets and tested for proper operations with homeowner.
