Arrived at customers home to address no cool. Customer stated that the air is coming out but not cooling. I did look over the history as well and then proceeded with inspection. Upon inspection, I found that both units were running as far as than motors further inspection into the condenser showed that the compressor was not operating. I didn’t check the capacitor and found that it was dead rated for 45MF but was reading at 18. I replaced the capacitor temporarily just to further diagnose the unit I found that the system appears to be low on refrigerant as well as the compressor itself is slightly over. The over ramping of the compressor is due to operating a dead capacitor or an undetermined amount of time. The unit itself is also heavily impacted on the outside and is struggling to breathe. Assumption line also has essentially no insulation on it. The system is also an R 22 system. This refrigerant type has been phased out, and we currently do not carry R 22 in order to refill the

Came out today to complete one system HVAC, not maintaining temperature for the upstairs. Upon arrival, customer stated he had had several companies come out, and the system is still doing the same thing. Upon customers approval performed full system diagnostic and found carrier 2 1/2 ton heat pump/air handler for the upstairs. Upon evaluation, found that the compressor valves are bad, this is from the TXV sending liquid refrigerant back to the compressor. Also, upon evaluation found large amount of biological growth inside the system, no TE standard flood protection, no UV protection. It appears that the system for the downstairs and upstairs were swapped on initial build due to the upstairs and downstairs are the same square footage and the downstairs has a two car garage and the downstairs system is a 3 ton with only 2 1/2 tons of airflow. The upstairs system has low return airflow, but has 3 tons of supply airflow. At this time recommended updating the system with the correct size

Return to install control board for unit. Control board was installed. Unit is now operating to manufacture specifications unit is no longer bypassing the board.

Called out for leak coming from the washing machine box gave estimate to replace box. Customer agreed cut open the wall beneath the washing machine box and removed the old one installed new washing machine box with hammer, arresters and washing machine hoses tested everything no leaks and working properly at this time.

Arrived at customers home to a no cool. Customer explained that a lightning storm struck the house knocked out the system. Upon initial inspection, I found that the blower motor was blown and transformer. Both components were replaced and air handler was back online. With those aspects fixed and power now going to the outdoor unit. I then found that the control board was bad as well. I replace the control board and found that the control board that was just purchased was bad out of the box. For the time being, I have bypassed the control board to allow for system operation and cooling, but I will have to return in order to replace the board with a functioning board

Called out for toilets one toilet was wobbling and the other toilet upstairs in the hallway bathroom customer wanted an estimate to pull and reset also to straight replace. She also had an issue with the bathtub in the same upstairs hallway bathroom draining slow I gave estimates to do pull and resets on both toilets to replace both toilets and to run the drain snake down the tub also to replace the flange if broken customer agreed to run the snake down the tub, tested everything draining properly. No leaks at this time.

Came out today to complete one system HVAC no cool service call. Upon arrival found 2 1/2 ton carrier, gas, furnace and straight AC from 2018. Upon arrival, customer stated that system quit blowing cold air Saturday afternoon. At this time perform full system evaluation. During the evaluation found the outdoor capacitor to be completely failed, the compressor is over amping on start up, condenser fan motor is pulling max amps, the system is low on 410 a refrigerant, there is no TE standard flood protection, the evaporator coil has major rust spots, the blower capacitor is bad and out of range, there is no UV air purifier in the system, the door has built up. Upon going over system with homeowner they only wanted to get the system back up and running today With just an outdoor capacitor. At this time, customer is aware of all further concerns and declined all recommendations to help prolong system life. Customer is also aware that there is no warranty for today’s repair. System is back
