Came out for no heat call for upstairs system which is 2022 Lennox AC/Furnace. Customer let me know home was struck by lightning. Electrician also out here today checking main panel. Recommended 2 full HVAC inspections to verify all operations. Customer agreed. Changed out 2 16x25x1 filters in attic. For upstairs found issue was blown transformer not giving power to board. Replaced transformer for troubleshooting and system began operating normally. Verified normal cooling and heating operation. For main floor everything was working properly for cooling and heating operations. For both systems found no wet switches for TE Standard Flood Protection and also no UV protection for coils to combat microbial growth. Spoke to customer about all findings and recommended signing up for Home Care as well as installing wet switches and Blue-Tube UV Lights. Customer approved 2 System Home Care Plan and new transformer only. Today counted as first HVAC Inspection on Home Care Plan. Left inspection

As we arrived today, we came back to install the customer supplied Tesla car charger. We installed a 60 amp home line double pole breaker in the electrical panel to feed power to the car charger. We installed the Tesla car charger directly beside the panel on the right side. Made all wire connections, and once we were finished the Tesla charger worked properly as it charged the car. Customer stated that around late night and early morning she hears a crackling sound coming from water heater and has noticed this for about 2 weeks. Check water pressure inside home and is currently at 100 psi which is excessively high but is caused by a worn out pressure reducing valve. A worn out pressure valve is also the cause of the noise coming from the water heater as the burner kicks on hitting the water up and while inspecting noticed that the high-pressure has also damaged the expansion tank bladder. Need to replace pressure reducing valve and expansion tank to correct the pressure issue and stop the noise. Customer ordered replacement shower valve handle from Moen for the upstairs hall bath, but I found that the handle broke off and snapped the end of the cartridge stem. Replaced Moen posi-temp cartridge and installed. Customer supplied Moen replacement handle. Checked out master bathroom, toilet, and found that the fill valve is old and worn out and once it reaches the cor

Mike & Jermaine were great. Since there were several repairs to be made, they “divided and conquered” by each working on separate things.
