For this job, I conducted leak detection services as a TGL for original technician Marquis. During my investigation, I used ground penetrating sonar to detect the exact location of the leak on the water main service in the front yard left of the driveway, approximately 42 inches off the front of the meter. The area has been marked with blue flags.

Came out today to give quote to replace drain line. Upon arrival, customer stated another company came out and perform a diagnostic and he was looking around for quotes to replace his drain line from the attic all the way to the outside. On today’s visit did not perform a diagnostic just gave quotes. Presenting “customer approved drain line replacement without flood protection. Customer also approved one system home care plan. Complication tested system and found that the drain line is now draining properly at this time. Still recommend adding flood protection to the system.

As we arrived today, we came to give a quote on EV Charger. Mrs. Brown also wanted us to check on a light in her office area that was not working. We found multiple wiring issues in the ceiling and inside the walls. Mr. and Mrs. Brown wanted us to go ahead and fix all of those problems so they would be safe in their house. We installed junction boxes in the ceilings on open taps and replaced some of the incorrect wiring which allow us to get the light over Mrs. Brown’s desk working properly again. Arrived to address concerns about system not keeping up in the heat. Upon initial inspection of the system I found that the filter was severely clogged. A clogged/dirty filter can cause restrictions in airflows that lead to weaker air streams as well as causing the coil to absorb heat as it should leading to the unit blowing out warmer air and not cool effectively. I changed the filter for the customer. It was provided by the customer. Customer will need to buy more pads for the polarized filtration system. (Freshaire uv plp filter) I also noticed that the unit for downstairs was not operating and once brought up to customer they wanted to go with an inspection to find issue with that unit. Upon inspecting the second unit it found that the disconnect was melted/broken leading to no power on the unit. Disconnect has been replaced unit is now running to manufacture specifications

I arrived at the customers home and they have informed me that henry County has come out to their home because on a previous occasion they’ve had a mainline blockage. I recommended to my customer to perform a camera inspection to have a full understanding of the drainage system. Following a camera inspection I was able to diagnose a compromise section of 6 inch drain lines with erosion in the yard. I provided the customer two options. The first option was a sewer spot repair in the second was a full sewer replacement. At this time, the customer has chosen to go forward with a sewer spot repair and out of courtesy. I will have two toilets rebuilt tomorrow. The work is scheduled to take place tomorrow.

Performed diagnostic on 6yr old York heat pump, upon arrival customer stated unit not cooling properly stated during the day temp goes up then comes back down at night, checked both tstst, set at 72 reading 75, went to attic to inspect air handler, recommend wet switch for better flood protection, also recommend uv protection for better indoor air quality, check filter, zone board and dampers, went to outdoor unit , checked pressures and temp split, unit showing low on r410, recommended leak search to locate leak, customer declined and wanted to just add r410, explained no warranty on repair, customer approved, added 3lbs of r410, recheck pressures and temp split, unit cooling properly at time, explained if unit stops cooling again we will have to perform leak search and also get tech support on the phone

Doorbell troubleshooting

Called out for backing up toilet that is backing up into the shower. After running water in the sinks and shower the toilet started bubbling and gurgling indicating a main line or branch blockage. Checked the two outside clean outs, the one closest to the street was holding sewage and the one closest to the home was overflowing with water. Ran the sewer machine through the clean out closest to the street to clear the blockage. Water was able to flow out after using the cable and the cable pulled back roots and there is roots visible at the bottom of the clean out. Sewer supervisor is scheduled to come out and run a camera to assess the issue from 11 to 2 today thank you for choosing TE certified!

Performed diagnostic on 20yr old Rheem outdoor unit with a 2yr old Lennox air handler, upon arrival customer stayed unit has not worked correctly since they changed it out, stated she just use space heaters during winter, checked tstst, already in ac mode, went to attic to inspect air handler, noticed it handler has a r410a txv, inspected outdoor unit found r22 system, explained to customer those system are not compatible to each other, customer stated they told her they put a conversion kit on the unit, I explained there is no conversion kit on the unit, spoke with customer about zone system as well, as she only has one tstst upstairs, highly recommend install supervisor due to condition of equipment, customer approved, schedule for today with office Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Customer stated they had an issue with the sewage ejector pump in the basement, upon arrival found that the was being held down with a load of tissue debris, filled the tank and manually bypassed the float to clear the tank from debris and made sure nothing was obstructing the float from moving, and turning on, filled the tank and tested the float and pump several times, provided estimates for future replacement as the pump does have about 10 years of use on it
