Customer had concerns about humming noise coming from unit, unit had blower motor constantly running, checked for 24 volts going to blower motor, motor did not have 24 volts, unplugged blower motor and motor still did not shut off, blower motor is bad and will need to be replaced, blower motor is also cycling on and off, checked capacitor, checked amp draw of compressor as well as outdoor fan motor, fan motor is over amping, fan motor is starting to go bad, went to supply house to pick up blower motor as well as outdoor fan motor, came back to replace motors, refrigerant levels look good, temperature drop also looks good, recommended UV protection, as well as homecare service, homeowner did sign up for homecare service, homeowner was not interested in UV protection, also recommended wet switch to prevent water leaks in the future.

Came out to a no heat. After diagnosing the system we found that the heat pump was empty there is no refrigerant present in the system. We would need to provide a leak search to determine where the leak is and then provide an estimate to repair the leak. We cannot further diagnose this system until this repair has been made.
