Installing a ceiling fan on back porch

Replaced worn out 1/2 hp disposal with new 3/4 hp. Working properly.

Upon arrival customer stated he had a really high power bill, found a couple different issues with system, condenser coil is very dirty causing high head pressure, contactors pads are very worn out, blower wheel is dirty, evaporator coil is a little dirty however not very dirty, filter was also very dirty, pulled filter out of system, recommended replacing filter as soon as possible so that evaporator coil doesn’t get dirty, compressor is overamping, recommended hard start kit to help lower amp draw of compressor, unit also has 10 gauge wire running to air handler there needs to be at least 6 gauge wire ran from breaker panel to air handler, heat strips were running constantly causing high power bill, disabled heat strips to help lower power bill however power bill will likely still be high due to efficiency rating of system as well as all of the issues with system, recommended wet switch to help prevent any water damage that may occur, customer would like to review estimates and get b

Performed diagnostic on 10yr old Lennox heat pump with two zones, upon arrival customer stated unit been out about a month, checked both tstats, cycled to ac mode, went to attic to inspect air handler, recommend better flood protection such as wet switch,checked filter, blower wheel impacted, recommend pulling and cleaning, upon inspection of evap coil found heavily rusted, also signs of oil under the coil, went to inspect outdoor unit , upon check unit, unit was rattling , condenser coil heavily impacted, recommend chemical cleaning, checked contractor, capacitor, both checked ok, upon checking pressure found unit low on r410, recommend leak search to locate leak in system, explained to customer adding refrigerant does not come with a warranty and refrigerant will leak back out without finding and fixing leak, explained system is 10yrs old without a Warranty, highly recommend install supervisor due to age and cost of repairs, went over all options with customer

Came up there to complete one system HVAC service call. Upon arrival, customer agreed for a diagnostic, explained to homeowner that if repairs are made same day, the diagnostic fee will be waived. Upon talking with tenant, he stated that system just quit working yesterday and it’s just blowing hot air. Upon inspection of the system found Lennox gas furnace with Lennox Straight AC from 2016. Upon starting the system found the outside fan was running but the compressor wasn't and the inside was running. Upon checking system found the condenser has a bad capacitor, burnt and pitted contactor, the system is very low on 410 a, this system is also contaminated with leak detector, the condenser coil is very dirty, upon inspection of the furnace in the attic found no TE standard flood protection, the filter has minimal buildup, the blower wheel is dirty, the blower capacitor is bad, this is a zone system that controls upstairs and downstairs. As we arrived back today, we installed the new customer supplied Ring floodlight in the back corner behind the camper. We also installed a doorbell ring camera at no charge. I did double check and make sure the doorbell was working properly before it was installed and it was. We also did a troubleshoot on the smoke detectors throughout the house. What we found was there was no power going to the smoke detectors, but they were all connected together. We extended the circuit on the upstairs smoke detector to connect home with power in the attic space and now all smoke detectors are working properly. . Returned today and completed all sold work. We ran the system in heat and cool and the systems is currently working according to specifications.

Came out today to preformed one system service call. Upon arrival, customer stated that she is purchasing the home and for the loan to go through the HVAC system has to be working. Customer stated that system thermostat was completely blank and nothing would happen. Upon through evaluation of system, found Amanda straight AC 5 ton from 2006 and Amana gas furnace from 2007. The thermostat was blank due to the batteries in the thermostat I had failed. Upon checking condenser system found the contactor is burnt and pitted and chattering, R 22 refrigerant is a little low, the blower capacitor is bad, the blower will is dirty, the blower motor is pulling high amps, the ductwork is dirty, the flu pipe is not up to code from the furnace or water heater, there is no TE standard flood protection on the system, there is no UV protection for the system.
