Homeowner has a stain on the ceiling in the family room. The stain is approximately 3 feet across in diameter. The stain appeared on the ceiling only a few days prior. The homeowner also has a failed thermal expansion tank, and a water heater that is from 2010. Drained down and removed old water heater. Cut out and removed old copper for water heater. Installed new anode rod warranty extender inside water heater. Removed old spring style gas valve and replaced with new ball valve. Installed new metal pan with CPVC drain for water heater. Installed cork pads to elevate water heater above flood rim. Set new water heater and ensure it is stable. Attached flu vent and ensure it has proper pitch for venting. Installed new ball valve on cold side of water heater, before expansion tank tie in. Installed approximately 2’ of new 3/4” type L copper and connected to cold side. Mounted expansion tank to nearby stud using expansion tank mounting bracket. Installed approximately 18” of new 3/4” typ

Return replace outdoor tankless, water heater setup and pressure regulating valve and emergency shutoff valve. Did so by removing the old tankless water heater off the wall. Measuring out new bracket polls for the new the tankless. Prepped and tire tankless, so that there would be pex connected to the shutoffs. Install ball Val valves on the outgoing, hot and incoming cold. Before the check valve as well. Installed AA many expansion tank. After the check valve and shut off. We then cut out the old prv and emergency shutoff valve and replaced, and tested all the way up to the emergency shutoff valve.No leaks. We then installed a magic tea in the upstairs. Guest bathroom lavatory. Afterwards we turn the water back onto the home.And slowly primed all of the air out of the lines. Afterwards, we plugged the unit in after setting the internal a valve to external recirculation. Allowed it to run and then put on the outdoor top hood for the exhaust on. Added a sub panel, separated the neutrals, did a new outside grounding system, added 2 ground bars in the main panel, and ran a 30A dryer circuit.

Homeowner had noticed water in the mechanical closet. The hose bib water line had failed. Homeowner had cut the water off to the line. Removed section of drywall and located the failed copper piping. Cut out section of drywall and removed wet insulation. Left quotes for replacement options

For this job, I installed a new bidet outlet. I ran a 20 amp circuit from the meter disconnect to the bathroom where I installed a 20 amp duplex outlet.

Are this job a rendered leak detection services for homeowner throughout my investigation I discovered the location of the irrigation master control valve. I isolated that valve and isolated the water main service between the meter and the shut off in the garage. I didn’t check the meter and noticed that it was still spinning Next I proved the ground along the water main service and detected a leak just outside of the water main service penetration about 6 inches off of the foundation wall on the front left side of the house underneath the bay window. Location has been marked with flag.

Inspection 2 systems non Homecare. Checked electrical components, checked ductwork, checked coils, checked heat exchangers, checked thermostat operations, checked pilot light, checked filter. Both systems have compromised heat exchangers and no flood protection. Both furnaces 38 years old. Upstairs system has ac coil that is not connected to furnace and has very big opening leaking air. Unable to obtain parts and make repairs to this system due to age and conditions. Recommended drain safeties for newer 2017 ac system that serves main floor. Advised customer not to run heat due to cracked heat exchanger and possible CO buildup. Customer would like quote on new system tomorrow after 3pm.

TE certified will replace the outdoor sewer line doing a sewer burst from the tap location up to the home, installing a new 6 inch cleanout at the county tap with the county permit

Returned to replace single wall flue pipe. Replaced 4 inch single wall with flexible 4 inch b vent flue pipe. Tested work after repairs everything working as it should. Did not collect for drain switch today as deposit was put down last visit.

We installed a new halo five whole home water filtration system. We also installed a new Prv to tend to the customers pressure issues.

Arrived on site to rerun the water lines for the kitchen area and to install a new PRV and shut off. We went ahead and re ran the kitchen sink, ice box machine , backyard hose spigot, and installed the Prv in the front side of the garage. While we still ran the kitchen sink lines outside in the build out area underneath the kitchen , we stuffed some of the insulation back as well as insulated the actual water lines both hot and cold . We also installed dedicated shut offs for the kitchen area to drain the lines. I informed the customer per our original arrangement that the area would need additional insulation in the build out area. Once we completed our new lines we turned the water on , adjusted the PRV to 65 psi and checked our work areas. We also installed a ball valve for the side hose bib that had no valve on it for winterization.

Arrived on site to address some airflow imbalanced upstairs. There is a specific room that is very cold in the winter and warm in the summer. We looked through the equipment, layout, and design to get a holistic interpretation of what may be the cause. They did explain that this has been an occurrence for about a decade, when they bought the house. We did find duct work connected and unobstructed without kinks or any major concerns. The upstairs hallway is very warm due to it being open to the entry and the downstairs, there is no return near the entry and heat gets trapped at the top of the staircase. Also in that hallway is the water heater which is radiating more heat than expected. The room in question almost always has the door closed and is the furthest from the thermostat also. Call out to address loose shower handles in the master bathroom. Upon arrival found that it was a to handle shower that the handles were extremely loose from not being mounted behind the wall. Advised homeowner that the shower valve would need to be replaced with a single handle shower valve. Also advise the homeowner that the expansion tank on the water heater needed to be mounted per code requirements. Gave homeowner options for all necessary repairs. I wanna agreed to replace the shower valve and to get the expansion tank mounted to the wall. Work was started by shutting off water to the home and draining the system. Once water was drained, began by removing old expansion tank and installed a new wall-mounted expansion tank. In the master shower began by removing the old shower valve and cutting a section of tile in the center in order for the new single handle valve to sit in. Cut on the wall behind the shower to gain access to install the new shower valve. Installed a new single H

Run dryer vent from downstairs to outside brick wall . Installed dryer vent system.

Homeowner called us out due to tub spout constantly dripping and toilet running in guest bathroom. We ended up replacing the shower cartridge, pulling and resetting the toilet as well as replacing the toilet drain 90 with a new flange. We also flushed the water heater. All work was tested and checked for leaks.

Customer had a leak coming from the second level hall bathroom. After inspecting under the cabinet, I found that the drain was loose in the wall. I cut open the back side of the wall and found that the 3” tee had broken on the side outlet. The entire vertical section of pipe had moved down enough to crack the fitting. I then cut open the ceiling below to add strapping the the line. I found that the 90 degree elbow in the ceiling had also failed at the glue Joint. I replace the bottom 90, strapped the pipe to have pitch, installed a new 3x2 tee, reconnected the trap arm, and used a husky band to reconnect to vent. Arrived for no heat on 2nd floor 90% Trane furnace. Furnace had no displayed error codes, proceeded to check gas components and electrical. Found water inside inducer motor and sediment trap is full. Evap coil drainline is tied into furnace drain and is ran outside and due to current weather it has frozone. Spoke with homeowner over the phone and they have approved of repairs. Re-ran condensate lines and added condensate pump. Tied pump drainline into the plumbing line to prevent any additional issues. Homeowner does not have wet switch. Recommend installing proper flood protection. Waived initial service. Homeowner has decided to sign up for 3sys HomeCare. Did not complete Homecare today, that will have to be scheduled for a later date.
