HVAC, Plumber & Electrical FAQs
The average cost to replace an electrical panel ranges from $1,595 - $3,000 depending on the amperage. The higher the amperage needed the more expensive the new electrical panel would be. Amp replacement is necessary when the existing system cannot be upgraded to meet new standard needs or when there is a safety risk to the existing system.
Tankless water heater cost in Marietta ranges from $1,500 to $5,000 depending on the size and type of the water heater being installed. Tankless water heaters have a higher initial price compared to tank heaters because of a more labor-intensive set-up if new gas and water lines are required for installation. For electrical tankless heaters, new electric wiring will probably not be needed for installation in most cases.
If you're experiencing AC not cooling your Marietta area home while the system is powered on, you could have a clogged or blocked coil. Unfortunately, a wide variety of debris can find its way into this equipment, including grass, dirt, and other contaminants. This can result in a serious clog, which can lead to a system malfunction. The best way to prevent this is with regular AC cleaning and maintenance visits.

Job Locations and Reviews
Performed two system homecare maintenance today. Both 16x25x1 filters were replaced, drain lines flushed confirming they are clear. Tested all operational parameters to be within range with the exception of the refrigerant charge for the ML system. It appears to be slightly low with a subcool temperature of 4.8 degrees and should be closer to 10 degrees. This system most likely has a leak and will begin to decrease in efficiency. Leak search was inconclusive at this time. We will monitor the system for further concerns. The ML condenser coil is dirty and would recommend a chemical cleaning. This system is 14 years old and has expired its life expectancy. It is cooling now with mild temperatures and assistance from the UL system allowing cold air to drop to the lower floor. I did observe the existing UV light in the main level system is not functioning. We can upgrade this UV light with the APCO UV air purifier for cleaner air in the home. Client approved installation of both wet switch
Stop valve for dishwasher was stuck closed and also dripping, recommended at least replacing the one leaking stop valve, glued it on to cpvc pipe and waited 1 hour before turning water back on, tested no issues. Thank you for choosing and trusting TE with your plumbing needs!
No cool on the main level and master systems. Main level evaporator coil is extremely freeze over and master system has a bad contactor. Replaced contactor and system works. One thermostat wire was connected to both condensers and spliced outside, however, it was wired backwards and when main level was calling for cool, the master system came on, and that what was making the system to freeze over. Rewired both condensers outside and both systems are working properly. Tested both in heating and cooling with no issues. Will return Wednesday afternoon to rechecked the pressures on the min level system.
Today I came out to look at a chandelier that recently fell from the ceiling. I fully took down the chandelier, untwisted and inspected the wiring for damage, rewired, and reinstalled the chandelier in the ceiling. Everything is now secure in the connections have all been remade.
Upon arrival spoke with customer about the rear hose bib. The handle was broken off and the hose was seized to the bib. Gave options. Cut the paneling to gain access. Replaced rear hose bib and installed a new shut off valve for the hose bib. Installed access panel to cover hole that was cut. Piping was insulated and valve tag was added. Will return Friday to replace water heater.
Troubleshoot lights not working
Customers garbage disposal was leaking. We replaced it with a 1/2 hp garbage disposal and left the area spotless.
Arrived at the customer’s home to inspect a dryer vent that fell off the wall and dryer. Found that there is a heavy amount of lint inside the dryer vent, recommend a cleaning. Reconnected the dryer vent with screws and silver tape. Reported results to the customer.
Install a new fan in the living room.
Installed a new weather resistant outlet on the back porch, installed two new fan rated boxes for upstairs bedroom and nursery ceiling fans, replaced the upstairs hallway bathroom GFCI and the one at the pool house exterior outlet by the AC Unit and put in three new BR30 bulbs in the family room.
Customer called us out for a bubbling in the upstairs right guest bathroom. I tested the tub and toilet until the toilet started to gurgle. The bathroom is rarely ever used and has had one issue in the past, where the plumber who cleared it said there might have been construction debris but no camera was ran. I gave the customer multiple options but they chose to hold off for the moment. I emailed all estimates over.
System not cooling properly. Filter was very dirty, outside condenser dirty, s well, system low on Freon and no armoflex on the outside suction line. Fixed all issues and system is cooling better. Filter has to be replaced every 3 months. Found no other issue at this visit. Temperature differential at 16 degrees. Also, recommend to replace thermostat, it’s reading 3 degrees above .
Pull the wire from switch to light location. Add pancake box.
Add new video camera doorbell
Customer called us out for a toilet n the master bathroom that wasnt flushing correctly. On inspection it seemed like the cause was a bent float switch for the fill valve not allowing enough water through. I adjusted it back but recommended replacement due to age and style of the toilet. Customer agreed. I also inspected their rain water pump system and could not get it to work and scheduled an electrician to come out to inspect the switch. I removed the toilet and installed a new Kohler Kingston. Tested toilet throughly.
Replace damaged existing fixture with new led recessed light. The globe for the existing fixture was filled with water and the light had water damage. When we removed the old light we did not find any water damage or corrosion to the wire.
Excellent service
Arrived on site and customer wanted a water drop RO system installed in the kitchen. I provided the customer the option for the install and to drill a hole in the counter for the RO faucet, which the customer agreed. After installing the system , I followed the Manuel’s instructions, and flushed the unit for 30 minutes per its instructions. This is not a product we typically deal with or install , so maintenance with be through the customers manufacturer supplier for any parts or replacements, any issues with the unit will require any future charges as this is a customer supplied unit and was installed based on manufacture instructions.
Not a Recall. Two recess trims in basement were pulsing. Upon replacement of units and removal of quick connectors, I was able to restore function and use to area again.
Troubleshooting tripping beaker for pool
At arrival on 04/27/26 found upstairs system not cooling due to clogged up drain line, water in the drain pan and water damage on the ceiling. -Cleared drain line at no cost to homeowner. -rewired the float and ss2 safety switches in order to work(shut off system when water backs up) properly. The ss2 safety switch was improperly wired in series with float safety switch. Consequently, both safety switches did not shut off system when needed. The ceiling was damaged due to lack of wet safety switch. Homeowner was given an option to install a wet safety switch during previous visits (at least 2 times), but they declined option. Therefore, we cannot cover ceiling damage repair. Explained homeowner about that. Homeowner approved to install a wet safety switch today. Properly installed the wet safety switch and tested wet safety switch. All water safeties are working properly at this time.
Troubleshoot outlets not working in the living room. Found one of the outlets neutral was burnt. Pigtailed the neutral and replaced customer supplied outlet.
Customer had gas leaks, and home gas company shut off gas to house. I did a repair on both furnaces for a gas leak and will come back on Wednesday from 11 to 2 to repair fireplace key valve. Did a pressure test to home and there are no current leaks.
Arrived at house and found leak through ceiling. Upon further inspection we found a leak on water line going to the kitchen. We installed a new pex pipe connection approx 5ft. TE is not responsible for any Sheetrock damage.
