HVAC, Plumber & Electrical FAQs
The average cost to replace an electrical panel ranges from $1,595 - $3,000 depending on the amperage. The higher the amperage needed the more expensive the new electrical panel would be. Amp replacement is necessary when the existing system cannot be upgraded to meet new standard needs or when there is a safety risk to the existing system.
Tankless water heater cost in Marietta ranges from $1,500 to $5,000 depending on the size and type of the water heater being installed. Tankless water heaters have a higher initial price compared to tank heaters because of a more labor-intensive set-up if new gas and water lines are required for installation. For electrical tankless heaters, new electric wiring will probably not be needed for installation in most cases.
If you're experiencing AC not cooling your Marietta area home while the system is powered on, you could have a clogged or blocked coil. Unfortunately, a wide variety of debris can find its way into this equipment, including grass, dirt, and other contaminants. This can result in a serious clog, which can lead to a system malfunction. The best way to prevent this is with regular AC cleaning and maintenance visits.

For this call, homeowner was wanting to see about getting prices for repair or replacement for water heater as their Vortex AO Smith water heater kept throwing error codes and not heating their water consistently. Upon inspection, we called tech support and tried to resolve the issue but could not get the heater to fire up. We found the exhaust pipe was full of rust sediment indicating it was nearing the end of its life even if we replaced a part for the heater. Gave multiple options from repair up to replacement. Homeowner chose to go with the tankless and ION-6. Went to get materials and came back and competed the install. Checked all of our work for any leaks and that everything was working properly. Everything is working as it should at this time. We will return next week to finish up some final touches and cosmetic work. Thank you for trusting TE Certified with all your plumbing needs.

No cool due to a bad dual capacitor. Replaced capacitor and system works. Checked amperage on motor and compressor, filter, pressures, temperature differential, cleared drain line, and visual inspection. System is working properly at this time with no other issue. Recommend to replace filter (AprilAire 413) every 6 months .
For this job, the customer called us out to see why her bath fan was not working and to solve why three of her outlets were reading open ground. I inspected the outlets and found that one of them did not have the ground hooked up and the other two had bad connections and paint on the ground. I also inspected the bath fan and found bad connections in the fan causing it to not work. I replaced the three outlets and installed a whole home surge protector. The bath fan is now working and I offered to replace the fan but the customer does not want to at this time since she does not use the bathroom much. Thank you for choosing TE Certified Electricians!
During this visit I completed the installation of 2 LED lights in the garage. Each light requires the installation of an old work box. After further investigation, the switch legs in the attic were in a box in poor that was in poor condition and it was not supported. I spoke with the customer of an additional $100 to install and support a new box with a new switch leg jumper for the garage lights.

Upon arrival there was a flagged area next to a large tree where leak detection determined the leak would be. Dug down 3ft and no piping or signs of water were found. Leak detection will be rescheduled. Took partial payment for my time digging today and will charge remaining balance when the line is able to be repaired.

Came out for a no-cool call on the upstairs system. Upon inspection, I found the condenser coil was heavily impacted with dirt and debris, restricting heat transfer, along with an undersized return causing low airflow. Initial testing showed a 10°F temperature split and 1°F subcooling, while the manufacturer calls for approximately 7–8°F subcooling. I informed the homeowner of my findings and explained how the dirty condenser coil, low refrigerant charge, and restricted return airflow were negatively affecting the system’s cooling performance. The homeowner approved a condenser coil cleaning and refrigerant adjustment. I thoroughly cleaned the condenser coil and allowed the system to operate for approximately 15 minutes before rechecking refrigerant pressures. I then adjusted the refrigerant charge to achieve the manufacturer’s target subcooling and verified proper system operation. The system’s temperature split remained slightly lower than normal, which is expected due to the elev
Main level system not working due to a broken low voltage wire outside, by the condenser. I was able to reconnect the wires and system works. Checked amperage on motor and compressor, capacitor, filter, temperature differential, drain line (clear) and visual inspection. System is cooling at this time but compressor has little high amperage (8.84 amps ) ne pressures little high, as well. System is 20 years old and not efficient anymore. This can affect the humidity level in the hose, specially on hotter days. System already has a kick start capacitor installed, to help compressor to start. Due to the be of the system, recommend to upgrade the system, be bring savings, comfort and efficiency back to the house. New system come with 10 years warranty and WiFi thermostat.
Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system. System Information: Inspected second-floor HVAC system consisting of a furnace, air conditioner, and evaporator coil. Based on the equipment information provided, the system is approximately 15–16 years old (2009/2010). Summary of Today's Visit: Technician responded to evaluate a system that was not cooling properly. After completing diagnostic testing, the technician found the system has a restriction in the refrigerant circuit, preventing the air conditioner from operating efficiently. Due to the age and overall condition of the equipment, the technician does not recommend investing in major repairs on this system. In addition to the refrigerant issue, the technician found the equipment appears to be undersized and under-insulated ductwork, which can negatively affect airflow, comfort, and overall system performance. Because of the system's age and condition, any major repair performed cannot be

Drains for powder room addition installed incorrectly. No venting provided, s-trapped sink, double trapped fixtures, and draining to pump rather than gravity. Removed all drains for bathroom. Pulled toilet and removed flange. Replaced the sewage ejector lid to remove the 3” line running into the top. Installed a new flange and set the toilet. All fixtures have been tested thoroughly and are now working properly. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
No cool for the upstairs system. Drain on is full of water and drain line clogged. Vacuumed water and cleared drain line (had to use mighty pump and nitrogen). System works with some issues. System is low on Freon (410a), outside condenser dirty, blower wheel dirty, some return duct are losing insulation. Sent estimates for potential repairs (not recommend). Today I came out due to Goodman system not working. Goodman furnace is located in attic servicing upstairs level. Upon arrival I found the float switch was full of water due to a clogged drain line. I unclogged the line, dumped 4 pounds of water in to drain line, and it’s draining. Drain line is a long run with a couple of bellies in it not allowing it to drain properly. Blower wheel is impacted with dust and debris on fan blades. Condenser coils are heavily impacted with debris. I cleaned the condenser coils and tested work. There is a faulty switch at the furnace as it won’t turn off when switch is flipped. I recommend one of our electricians come out to look at it.
Heather called us out to her home because she just recently bought a wall connector and wanted it installed. The previous tenant had the circuit ran for the EV so all we did today was installed. The customer supplied car charger.

Genis arrived first thing and was able to provide solutions within the hour. He was upfront about the cost and time to complete the job. He was thorough in his explanations. We’d highly recommend TE and Genis for his outstanding service.
I had used TE Certified for my own home and was extremely pleased. So when I needed this for my client, I said I definitely wanted the best. Caleb, was on time, extremely polite and got right to work. He found what was wrong and he fixed it. Couldn’t ask for anything better.
Jeff Currie arrived at our home at the beginning of the expected visit and was professional and efficient. He understood the issue we were having with our tankless water heater and checked out the issue and solving the problem. He made recommendations for what we could do ourselves should this happen again. We have used TE Certified several times and will continue to do so in the future. Thank you, Jeff.
TE Certified did a great job. I had an AC issue and they were able come come out within 24 hours. The tech explained the issue and got it resolved timely for a fair price. The tech was very courteous. I would highly recommend TE Certified
My experience with TE, specifically Craig Garnto, was one of the best home service experiences I’ve ever had. Craig showed up to our initial appointment and I gave him a long list of about 15 things I needed done to my home’s electric; which included installing new outlets in hard-to-reach places, fixing strange switch configurations, and installing a new ceiling fan box. Craig was very friendly and patient as I explained all of my concerns and needs. The quote I received was fair for the amount work I needed done. On the day of the actual work, Craig and his co-worker showed up bright and early and stayed over 10 hours until the job was done. Craig was able to troubleshoot multiple issues and made sure everything was perfect before they left. Thanks for getting our home squared away Craig!
I had a shower valve leaking and they took care of the valve. It works great and is no longer leaking. While checking on the water pressure for the house the technician noticed the water heater was about to cause some major issues, it was 19 years old, and replace that for me as well. Great job! And thank you.
On a hot day I wasn't expected to get service in a few hours, but I did! I knew the issue, they addressed and fixed asap.
They came on time and worked quickly. It's a pleasure dealing with your crew!
Very friendly

I booked online and got a same-day appointment. TE sent a message with the technician’s name and picture. Kyle called 30 minutes before arriving and arrived early in the window I was given. He did a thorough inspection and diagnosed the issue. Kyle arranged for a supervisor to come and reinspect and provide options and quotes for repairs.
From the moment I called and explained the situation, the first line staff were nothing short of AMAZING! I made an appointment for the following day and they called me back after hearing my story and sent a specialist out late afternoon on the same day. Andrew was also amazing. He understood the issue, offered several options and we now have water to the house on a temporary fix and lined up to replace the main water line. After a week of no water and delays from another company, I’ve never been so excited to do laundry! Thank you doesn’t seem to be enough.
Great service, good guy
