HVAC, Plumber & Electrical FAQs
The average cost to replace an electrical panel ranges from $1,595 - $3,000 depending on the amperage. The higher the amperage needed the more expensive the new electrical panel would be. Amp replacement is necessary when the existing system cannot be upgraded to meet new standard needs or when there is a safety risk to the existing system.
Tankless water heater cost in Marietta ranges from $1,500 to $5,000 depending on the size and type of the water heater being installed. Tankless water heaters have a higher initial price compared to tank heaters because of a more labor-intensive set-up if new gas and water lines are required for installation. For electrical tankless heaters, new electric wiring will probably not be needed for installation in most cases.
If you're experiencing AC not cooling your Marietta area home while the system is powered on, you could have a clogged or blocked coil. Unfortunately, a wide variety of debris can find its way into this equipment, including grass, dirt, and other contaminants. This can result in a serious clog, which can lead to a system malfunction. The best way to prevent this is with regular AC cleaning and maintenance visits.

Installed new customer supplied shower valve
Clear kitchen sink blockage. Customer called us out for a slow draining kitchen sink. Upon arrival we checked for a mainline blockage, kitchen sink was only fixture affected. Both sinks were filling up. Removed pTrap assembly and ran flex shaft into pvc drains. Ran cable full length and brought back cable. Brought back food debris. Ran water in right side sink while running cable. Tested drain by running water for a long duration of time, no signs of system backing up. Clearing successful. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
For this job, I inspected an outlet having sparking issues
Hardworking, efficient, responsive to questions, personable, knowledgeable. Did a great job completing my hot water heater install in an awkward to work in crawl space. Love it.
During today's visit, we met with the homeowner to discuss the installation of a dedicated shut off valve for a new dishwasher that is scheduled to be installed. Upon inspection, we found that the existing kitchen plumbing setup consisted of a single angle stop supply valve serving both the kitchen faucet and dishwasher through an older style split valve tee connection. Due to the age of the existing configuration and the lack of an independent shut off for the dishwasher, we recommended upgrading the system to provide a safer and more serviceable installation. Prior to beginning work, we isolated the home's water supply at the meter and completely drained the affected water lines to ensure a safe and controlled installation. Once the system was depressurized, we removed the existing valve assembly and associated fittings. We then installed a new quarter turn supply valve dedicated to the kitchen faucet, along with a separate dishwasher supply connection equipped with an integrated ha
Came out to extend the existing oven wiring to accommodate the new layout. During the inspection, I also noticed that several outlets needed to be relocated to meet the updated kitchen layout. Provided the customer with a quote to complete all necessary electrical modifications. With the customer’s approval, completed the work, relocated the required outlets, extended the oven wiring, and tested everything to confirm proper operation.
HomeCare Inspections Main Floor The heat exchanger is cracked for the main floor system and compromise overall. The blower motor seals are broken and the system is leaking oil. The blower capacitor is also out of tolerance. The equipment overall is low on return and supply air, which may have contributed to the blower motor failing, as well as the cracks in the heat exchanger. Condensate pump should be installed inside of the drain pan, but it is not. The equipment also was installed with poor flood protection. It would be beneficial to get a dehumidifier for the basement. Upstairs The heat exchanger is cracked for the upstairs furnace. The blower capacitor is low. The blower wheel needs to be cleaned. The system has poor flood protection for the location of the equipment. If water becomes an issue, there’s a high probability it could overflow the drain pen and make its way onto the ceiling and eventually into the living space.
For this call, homeowners had us out to replace the old kitchen faucet with a provided delta faucet. Upon arrival, we double checked the water pressure to ensure that it’s within an acceptable range to keep fixtures running properly. We installed the new faucet and tested it to make sure it was working properly and no leakages. At this time all is working as it should at this time. Thank you for trusting TE Certified with all your plumbing needs.
I need him to return. The three way light switch in the bathroom now trips the breaker.
Upon arrival we met with homeowner and began setting bee armor around work area. Water heater was set in place, gas valve was too close to heater to attach gas hose, had to switch the cap and valve. All lines installed in copper, bonding wire was attached and flue secured properly into place. Tested to ensure no leaks or errors. Lines were bled and everything was functioning properly with no leaks or errors at this time. Replace cast iron portion house and tank side of exterior clean out and reinstall new two-way clean out with a sewer popper. Replace old water heater with new 50 gallon tank and replace PRV and first valve in the crawlspace.
Timely and polite, Jason and his crew member were perfectly professional. We always appreciate TE Certified. Thank you. Highly recommend.
For this job, I Installed a new ceiling fan in the downstairs bedroom, including the installation of a new electrical circuit from the existing wall switch to the center of the room. The work required running new wiring to a location where no existing ceiling electrical box was present and preparing the installation point to safely support the new ceiling fan. As part of the installation and in accordance with applicable National Electrical Code safety requirements, the existing 15-amp circuit breaker was replaced with a new dual-function 15-amp breaker providing protection against both arc faults and ground faults. This additional protection is designed to provide increased safety for personnel and equipment by detecting potentially hazardous electrical conditions within the circuit. A fan-rated pancake electrical box was installed at the center of the ceiling to provide a secure and properly rated mounting point for the ceiling fan. The ceiling fan was then fully assembled acco

The system has poor flood protection for the location at it’s in. The condenser coil is dirty and needs to be cleaned. The system has over 60% humidity in the space while the equipment is running the AC. The contactor is pitted. Upstairs The compressor is extremely hot to the touch. The condenser coil is heavily impacted with dirt dust debris. The contactor is pitted. The system has abnormally high, superheat, which could be due to the low return air. Came out to troubleshoot three non-working outlets in the living room. Traced the wiring and found that the circuit was routed through an old section of roof decking above the shingles and came back down on the opposite side, with no accessible way to inspect or confirm the damaged section. Due to the inaccessible damaged wiring, rerouted the circuit and installed a junction box to restore power to the disconnected area. While on site, also found a loose wire connection at the bathroom GFCI outlet and tightened the connection as a courtesy. Additionally, found a broken wire at an outlet in the garage, repaired/replaced the damaged wiring, and tested all affected outlets and circuits. Everything is currently working properly.
Upon arrival, customer wanted to have two shut off valves replaced with their own supplied shut off valves for the upstairs master and hallway bathroom toilet customer also stated that they were having a flushing issue with the upstairs hallway, bathroom toilet, and that it was slow flushing. Customer supplied solderable chrome finish quarter turn shut off valves and supply lines for both toilets. They agreed to our quote to replace them and pull the upstairs hallway bathroom toilet to replace the wax ring started by turning the water off to the home and removing the old supplies and stops and then soldering on the new stops. Turn the water back on and tested for leaks. There were none within, pulled the upstairs hallway bathroom toilet to find that the flange is below grade and that it was making absolutely no contact with the wax ring. That was there upon customers request. They wanted us to leave the toilet uninstalled we put plastic into and on the flange to keep sewer gases out an
Technician installed three new condensate pumps for the HVAC units located in the attic. Each unit is equipped with its own dedicated condensate pump. New vinyl drain tubing was installed for each pump and properly secured and strapped. All three condensate lines were routed to discharge into the existing drain box located behind the washing machine. Upon completion, each condensate pump was individually tested and verified to be operating and draining properly. Technician replaced the toilet in the guest bathroom due to deterioration of the existing gaskets, which appears to be related to the home’s water quality. During removal of the existing toilet, the toilet flange was found to have been improperly installed and was susceptible to future failure. The flange was replaced and properly secured prior to installation of the new toilet. The new toilet was then installed, tested, and inspected for proper operation and leaks. As a courtesy, technician also replaced the toilet handle i
Replaced existing supply/return duct with new flex ducting. Trunk line was hard pipe, with no insulation and was condensation a lot. Replaced for flex duct, from the attic down to the crawl space. Wire and install new outlets in attic
The customer had concerns about a receptacle located in the hallway off the garage getting hot. The device is original to the home and after removing it I seen it was quick wired and the neutral wires were heating up. The customer has an electric vehicle and was plugging up his trickle charge into a GFCI located in between the garage door which was on the same circuit. The charger at 120v draws 12.5 amps and the circuit they are using is on with the hallway outlet. I explained to the homeowner what was going on and told her the trickle charger needs to be on its own circuit. They agreed to have a new circuit installed that would allow for 240v at 32 amps. I wired in a new 6/3 Romex wire from the garage, through the crawl space and into the panel. In order to get into the crawlspace I had to make a cut near the floor in order to drill. I installed a box and a plate to cover the hole. I supplied and installed a new 2p40 QO GFCI breaker per 210.8 of the NEC. I also supplied and installed

Excellent Generator Installation by Alex and Jordan of TE Certified Co.— Highly Recommended! I had an excellent experience with Alex and Jordan electricians of TE Certified Co. who installed my backup generator, transfer switch, new electrical meter and new circuit breaker panel. From start to finish, the entire process was handled professionally and efficiently. The workmanship was excellent, the installation was neat and well organized, and he paid close attention to every detail.
