HVAC, Plumber & Electrical FAQs
The average cost to replace an electrical panel ranges from $1,595 - $3,000 depending on the amperage. The higher the amperage needed the more expensive the new electrical panel would be. Amp replacement is necessary when the existing system cannot be upgraded to meet new standard needs or when there is a safety risk to the existing system.
Tankless water heater cost in Marietta ranges from $1,500 to $5,000 depending on the size and type of the water heater being installed. Tankless water heaters have a higher initial price compared to tank heaters because of a more labor-intensive set-up if new gas and water lines are required for installation. For electrical tankless heaters, new electric wiring will probably not be needed for installation in most cases.
If you're experiencing AC not cooling your Marietta area home while the system is powered on, you could have a clogged or blocked coil. Unfortunately, a wide variety of debris can find its way into this equipment, including grass, dirt, and other contaminants. This can result in a serious clog, which can lead to a system malfunction. The best way to prevent this is with regular AC cleaning and maintenance visits.

Job Locations and Reviews
Homeowner has a leak in their garage ceiling below a bathroom on the second story. The garage is a stand alone garage. The water to the garage is shutoff currently, and leaks when the water is on. I cut into the damaged Sheetrock and found copper water lines, however found no leak. Upon further investigation, I found what appears to be a freeze break in the attic space behind the bathroom. I also found a 30 gallon electric water heater from 2009, and this water heater is sitting in a pan full of water with a very corroded base. The pan drain for this heater is also ran in PVC I cut the copper above the break above the floor, and below the floor after both a 90 and a push to connect fitting. I installed approximately 1’ of new 3/4” type L copper and a new 90 going though the floor. I removed the corroded water heater. I cut the water lines connected to it, and disconnected the power. I disposed of the water heater. I removed the old plastic pan as the pan was full of old green water,
Inspected the system throughly in heating and cooling modes, inspected all electrical and mechanical components. At this time the system is operating properly
Moving a receptacle in master bedroom closet and installed a single pole flapper switch for closet led strip lights
Completed a one system maintenance verified filter, clear, drain line check safety, and components. Need to replace filter at this time system is operating. Customer agreed to change filter.
The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Add refrigerant and replace suction Scrader valve. Upon arrival met with homeowner and he told me that system was replaced two years ago. Customer state system is running and circulating air, but not really cooling. Started system in air-conditioning and went to furnace and confirmed it is moving air. Checked filters and they look new. Could hear refrigerant flowing. Moved to outdoor unit and hooked gauge up and system is very low on refrigerant. Pressure was like 50/160. Power down unit and standing pressure was around 165. Performed a leak search of the coil line set and all exposed areas and came up empty. Check the Schrader valves and found a suction Schrader valve to be leaking. This was confirmed with a leak detector and bubbles. Videos of both attached. During inspection check the heat exchanger on this furnace. This furnace is a 2009 train 90%. This furnace has a failed heat exchanger. The heat exchanger needs to
For this Job, I installed a ev charger. Everything was tested and is working properly.
Replaced pop up strainer on lavatory sink. Replaced AAV on drain line under lavy sink.
We came out due to a main breaker nuisance tripping. Upon examination the only issue I could determine was that the main breaker was faulty. We then we going to replace it. In the process of replacing it on of the studs for the main breaker snapped off the bussbar with very little tension. We replaced the guts in the panel to get power back on for the customer. We also extended the main neutral due to how it was previously spliced.
-Hot Tub- Install a fitting on the conduit going to the control panel We tested all electrical points and found the wire and GFCI are in good working condition and the problem is inside the control panel. The homeowner will need to contact a hot tub repair company. I am suggesting to have surge protection installed at each feeder point as to follow the NEC but to maximize the protection to the home.
For this job, we replaced a flood light and installed a new one under the porch.
Caleb did an amazing job correcting a very serious venting issue that could have caused carbon monoxide poisoning. He was fast, courteous and professional. I can rest easy knowing that everything is now up to code and that my family is safe!!
Installed all new double wall flu pipe for furnace and water heater to ensure proper functioning venting of carbon monoxide. The systems are now fully compliant to code.
Relocate dual check valve from inside the home to next to the meter also added a courtesy valve in front of the meter to turn the water on or off from the outside of the house. Pressurize system to make sure that there are no active leaks and found no other issues with the work that was done today.
Customer called us out due to half his house having no power. We went to the panel and tested between L1 and L2 and our meter read 120v. We then tested each one individually and got 120v on L1 and no voltage on L2. We then went out to the meter and tested on the line side of the meter base and found that it is a power company issue.
Replaced an undersized breaker
Technician installed a dryer vent, vent hood, and accessories.
Excellent Service!
Homeowner had two leaking tub showers. The cartridges had failed causing the leak. Shut water off at main and drained system. Removed handles and failed cartridges. Applied valve grease to the new cartridges and installed and secured. Turned water on and tested and everything is working properly at this time.
Installed new washer box and ice maker box in the garage. Ran the water and drain lines to the crawl space. Installed a Studor vent in a wall box above the washer box. Tied the drain into an existing horizontal branch line. Water is tied into 3/4” piping to provide adequate water supply. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
Called out about running toilet come find out the fill valve was bad it just kept running so we swapped out fill valve and Kohler gasket on flush tower tested work. There are no leaks at this time. Thank you for choosing TE certified.
We relocated outlets in the garage for the new garage doors being installed. We replaced the breaker with a safety breaker. We installed three whole home surge protectors for all three electrical panels. And we replaced non-listed breakers in the panels with the correct ones.
The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Wire repir No charge to customer warranty condenser fan motor replacement Upon arrival met with homeowner and homeowner stated that neither outdoor unit was running. Went to thermostats turned both of them to air-conditioning and moved outside confirmed that main level unit was not coming on at all. Upstairs unit had a compressor running, but a fan not running. This unit short cycle shortly after getting around there and powered this unit down. Open the door and began testing on the main level unit and there was no call to yellow and system had high voltage. It also was very apparent that there is a rodent nest in this outdoor unit. Remove rodent nest with a screwdriver. Did not pick up the trash as it is rodent trash. After removing rodent nest found the yellow wire to be completely chewed in half. Pull this wire back and reattached. Powered system up and it did come on and is cooling. Upon inspection, the furnace of thi
Install boxes, new switch and install two new customer supplied lights in kitchen
4/1- Arrived at the customer’s home to discuss the Homecare maintenance plan. They have 3 systems in the home (upstairs, main floor and basement). Customer wanted to reschedule for tomorrow morning between 8 and 10 to do the full inspection on all 3 systems. 4/2- Customer signed up for the maintenance plan. Performed a Homecare maintenance inspection on all 3 HVAC systems in the home. Tested heating, cooling, auxillary heating and zoning from the thermostats. Measured the refrigerant pressures and electrical component readings. Inspected the safety and cleanliness of the systems. Checked and replaced the 1” air filters. Reported findings to the customer.
Thorough, competent work
3 system outdoor coil cleaning. Removed all panels. Cleaned inside and chemically cleaned coils. Verified systems operated afterwards.
I was provided excellent service in a timely manner, will definitely be using them in the future.
Today we came out due to humidifier condensation dripping down bypass duct and on to wood plenum. Main cause is filter is overdue for a change out and drain line is improperly pitched upward instead of slopping down. We also did a full system inspection and found the blower wheel, evaporator coils, and condenser coils all have dust and debris built up on them causing inefficiencies on the system. Furnace is located in kitchen/hallway closet and is sitting on top of wood plenum. The only return air intake is a cut out in hallway and 2 vents on the doors. For current system, this is okay, but when it’s time to replace system, plenum will need to be updated to metal and some return ducts will need to be added. Thermostat is functioning correctly as we tested it in both heating and cooling. Contactor on condenser unit is becoming pitted. After going over all findings and options, Mary is going to pass the information along to the home buyer and will let us know if she would like for us to
Replaced condensate pump with approval. Verified proper function and draining of pump. System now operating properly. Thank you for choosing TE certified!

My wife and I live in a 1924 home that, due to years of poor work by previous owners, was left unsafe and far from code. Trevor and Chris were outstanding. They quickly identified issues that multiple other companies had missed and diagnosed everything on the spot with confidence and expertise. Just as important, they were incredibly kind, professional, and thorough. They took the time to explain every step, making sure we understood the process and felt comfortable along the way. We never felt pressured—only given honest, thoughtful recommendations. Their work ethic was remarkable. They stayed focused, worked tirelessly, and kept a positive attitude the entire time—even going so far as to eat lunch in their truck quickly so they could hop right back to work to keep the job moving. After dealing with other companies that either overwhelmed us or didn’t follow through, working with Trevor and Chris was a completely different experience. They truly transformed our home. If you need electrical work, skip the rest and go with TE Certified Electrical— and make sure you ask for Trevor or Chris.
Gabe and Elijah did super work in our newly purchased house. They had to make some complicated changes to existing ductwork, and they made it seem simple. Gabe communicated with me throughout the process as I was in a completely different state, so I could not be present. He sent pictures and called. I am VERY happy with the work and the amazing service.
Andrew was very professional, thorough and communicated clearly. We have used TE multiple times and we are very satisfied with their service.
