HVAC, Plumber & Electrical FAQs
The average cost to replace an electrical panel ranges from $1,595 - $3,000 depending on the amperage. The higher the amperage needed the more expensive the new electrical panel would be. Amp replacement is necessary when the existing system cannot be upgraded to meet new standard needs or when there is a safety risk to the existing system.
Tankless water heater cost in Marietta ranges from $1,500 to $5,000 depending on the size and type of the water heater being installed. Tankless water heaters have a higher initial price compared to tank heaters because of a more labor-intensive set-up if new gas and water lines are required for installation. For electrical tankless heaters, new electric wiring will probably not be needed for installation in most cases.
If you're experiencing AC not cooling your Marietta area home while the system is powered on, you could have a clogged or blocked coil. Unfortunately, a wide variety of debris can find its way into this equipment, including grass, dirt, and other contaminants. This can result in a serious clog, which can lead to a system malfunction. The best way to prevent this is with regular AC cleaning and maintenance visits.

Job Locations and Reviews
Arrive at home to do a home care inspection. After inspecting the home. The home owner went with some fixes for the home. I replaced a broken outlet in upstairs bedroom. I added an outlet in the master bedroom closet. It was a back to back outlet from the outlet in the bedroom. I installed proper size breakers to AC units. One unit was oversized. The other unit I increased the amperage to the max the unit could offer. I removed the tandem breakers in the panel cause they were not allowed in the panel. The tandem breakers were not properly secure to the panel. I upgraded each of those circuits to dual function breakers.
Installed all upgraded equipment for air purification. Repaired gas lines on units . Replaced all worn parts on back unit . Cleaned blower wheels and secondary heat exchanger on main unit . Tested work after installation.
Today we came out for 3 system inspection. For all 3 furnaces we inspected all electrical components, checked gas pressures, static pressures, blower wheel, evaporator coils heat exchangers, duct work, cleaned flame sensor, cleaned inducer draft tubing, changed the filter, and cleared drain lines. upstairs furnace has several cracks in the heat exchangers. Performed a carbon monoxide test and fortunately did not pick up any carbon monoxide, but something to definitely keep an eye on. Blower wheel capacitors for both upstairs and master bedroom furnaces are failing. There is no flood protection on drain line for these 2 units. Both of these units blower wheel and evaporator coils have dust and debris built up on fan blades. For the condensers we inspected all electrical components, pressure readings, and coils. After going over all findings and options, Missy has decided to sign up for the home care maintenance plan. It was a pleasure to ,wet you today and welcome to the TE family!
Home care completed on two systems. Necessary repairs made with approval. Drain lines flushed and cleared. Advised homeowner that upstairs system contains UV dye and any refrigerant related issues would not be covered under a warranty by the manufacturer. Systems otherwise operating properly. Thank you for choosing TE certified!
Installed electrical on back porch.
Scoop camera from main cleanout to determine condition of main drain lines, found ABS piping throughout home and to tap. No cast iron drain piping is present in the home.
The homeowner expressed concern about the condensation drains for the upstairs and main floor systems. Technician poured water into the drains and the water came out clear and at a normal speed. Technician recommended to extend the drains because the upstairs drains into the ground which can become clogged in that area while the main floor drain ends at the side wall of the home which the water will drain at the foundation of the home. During an inspection, the technician checked heating and cooling operations, confirmed that the condensation drains are not clogged, tested the flood protection devices, and observed system performances. Noted* The filters are heavily impacted with dust buildup and need to be changed every 60-90 days to avoid stress on the system. The blower motor for the main floor system has a significant amount of dust on the blower wheel which causes lower efficiency and stress. The capacitor (12.5 uf) for the blower motor to the main floor system is below accepta
Adding 6 outlets into the living room upstairs from an existing circuit, fishing wire up and down the wall from the attic. Using single gang old work boxes. Installed 6 outlets for entertainment center came off existing outlet wire through the wall using attic.
Today we performed one system hvac inspection 2009 amana 4 ton split with matching 90k furnace. Due to compressor on the verge of failure scheduled install supervisor for this Friday 2-5 to give options on updating
Install whole home surge protection inside the main panel
Repaired issue with shorting out circuit
Install new garbage disposal in kitchen and concrete around pump basin and test everything before leaving. Tested tankless, condensate pump, both sewage ejector pumps and leak alarms and everything is working properly. Due to the home not being lived in currently I would like to return a week or so prior to move in to install crossover tee for the tankless and also go to each bathroom once toilets are in place to retest pumps.
Today we were here for a faulty thermostat. When we arrived we found as stated a thermostat intermittently powering on. We found 24v at the thermostat wire and could confirmed the thermostat had an internal problem. We were supplied with a Honeywell RTH9585WF for replacement. Upon installation we recognized the old wire only had 4 ‘r,g,c,w” wires and the new thermostat required a new wire to be ran to provide a 5th “y” wire for cooling call. After installing new thermostat, running new low voltage wire, and wiring up thermostat and furnace we tested thermostat in both cooling and heating. System is working properly and there are no other foreseen issues with system.
Tech was out for system making a noise. Me and the customer walked out to Outdoor condenser . The cage is rattling causing noise. Let customer know that due to the design of cage will have a sleight rattle. This is normal. Also let customer know that today visit would be 98$. Video has been uploaded.
Customer called regarding a noise coming from the powder room toilet. Upon inspection, the issue was traced to a faulty fill valve. Removed the existing fill valve and installed a new fill valve along with a new toilet supply line. Tested operation after installation; toilet is functioning properly and the noise has been resolved.
Customer called us out for a clogged sink in the master bathroom shower. I tested the shower and it started to back up after a minute. Customer also had an issue with their left sink in the master bathroom. It would not back up but had a gurgling noise occasionally. I recommended cleaning the shower line with a flex shaft and cleaning the p-trap, stopper, the full branch line of the left sink and a bottle of Endure drain cleaner. Customer agreed. I removed the stopper and cleaned it out, then removed all of the trap components and cleaned them, then ran a flex shaft down the line clearing the line. I put everything back together and tested throughly. I then scraped the edges of the shower drain and ran a flex shaft down it. I tested it throughly and had no back ups. Cleaned up both areas and treated sinks with Endure.
Customers seeking inspection for their plumbing throughout the home. As well had several issues that they wanted me to go over well on site. Customer had a kitchen faucet and sink that they wanted installed. This would go from 2 whole to 1 hole. Customer also still wanted a garbage disposal. Upstairs, guest and master bathroom, 3 handle shower valves. She wanted rebuilt so that they would not leak. As well, customer wanted the irrigation shut off valve replaced in the basement, and also made a comment about replacing the front yard emergency shut off valve. While on site, I informed the customer that their water heater was nine years old. Customer agreed to all work that we have just talked about. We replaced both sets of three handle shower valves in the upstairs.Guessed and master bathroom. This was of course, after turning all of the water off to the home. And draining everything, including the water heater. Afterwards, we went downstairs and replaced the irrigation shut off alve with
For this job, the customer has noticed for a couple of months that the water was not as hot as it used to be, and was running out quickly. They wanted to replace the unit, and opted to go with a 50 gallon natural gas unit. We performed work tested everything, and cleaned up thank you for choosing TE Certified.
Today I completed a full spring maintenance on all four HVAC systems. I inspected heat, changers, burners, and ignition components for safe operation. I checked blower assemblies, airflow, settings, and motor amp draws to verify proper performance. I tested controls and safety switches and inspected for any potential or safety code concerns. I also installed indoor air quality devices, performed cleanings and installed a wet switch on the system in the attic. I tested all equipment. All systems are working as designed at this point at time. There are no other issues here.
Upon arrival spoke with customer about a garbage disposal that was no longer working. Gave options. Customer had a 1 hp disposal that wouldn’t fit so we went with a 1/2 hp badger disposal. Removed old disposal and basket strainer. Installed new strainer, made electrical connections, installed disposal and connected to drain system. All work was tested for functionality and leaks.
Today We Labeled The Panel, Troubleshoot Lights Not Working, And Installed Bonding Bridge/Hot And Cold On Water Heater.
Arrived on site to troubleshoot landscape lights not working. We tested power at the transformer and outlet. We noticed the outlet was not receiving power. We took the outlet out and the wires were receiving the correct power. We installed a new weather rated outdoor GFCI outlet with a new bubble cover. We sealed this outlet so moisture cannot get inside. We installed all new bulbs for the two bulbs not working. We also discussed other landscape lighting ideas as well as a new surge protector. Everything is working upon departure.
Wired in and installed a new digital in wall timer in the garage on the left wall for the sconce and floodlight. I set the timer for seven days a week “On Time” 8:15 pm and “Off” is set for 7 am per customers request. We found a Sycom surge in the panel and the customer declined us removing it and just had us turn the breaker off.
Attempt to clear shower blockage Customer called us for a slow drain in the master shower on the 2nd floor. Upon arrival I tested the bathroom group to ensure we didn’t have a mainline issue present. We ran water for a long period of time and didn’t see any signs of a mainline blockage, only the shower was being affected. I tested the other fixtures in the home to ensure proper flow in the drains. I left some water running and headed to the cleanout and I saw good flow through the cleanout. I ran my cable machine through the drain to clear any obstructions present in the drain. I pulled back some hair buildup and I ran water to test the drain flow and we were successful in restoring proper flow. Customer already uses endure from our previous technician.
Tech was out for main level not cooling. Found filter 16x25x1 impacted with dirt and dust. System unable to breathe. Seen blower wheel dirty. No flood protection on system. There is a float switch on emergency drain pan but will stop system once drain pan is full of water. Condensate pump tubing has been spliced and no C clamps around spliced tubing to secure. New tubing has been ran to old tubing. Old tubing is hard and can crack causing water damage. Condensate pump low voltage is not wired up to shut system off is pump stops working. Condenser not turning on due to break in wire between wall and out side. Would need to run new low voltage wire to furnace and outdoor condenser. The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Ran new low voltage wire to condenser to furnace. Added 1 pond of R-32 to main level system.
Agustin did a great job fixing my leaking pipes under the sink and advising me on maintenance. He showed me how to drain my hot water heater to reduce mineral buildup. Service was timely, high quality. With my fast leak sending water to the lower level , I didn’t take the time to shop on price

My wife and I live in a 1924 home that, due to years of poor work by previous owners, was left unsafe and far from code. Trevor and Chris were outstanding. They quickly identified issues that multiple other companies had missed and diagnosed everything on the spot with confidence and expertise. Just as important, they were incredibly kind, professional, and thorough. They took the time to explain every step, making sure we understood the process and felt comfortable along the way. We never felt pressured—only given honest, thoughtful recommendations. Their work ethic was remarkable. They stayed focused, worked tirelessly, and kept a positive attitude the entire time—even going so far as to eat lunch in their truck quickly so they could hop right back to work to keep the job moving. After dealing with other companies that either overwhelmed us or didn’t follow through, working with Trevor and Chris was a completely different experience. They truly transformed our home. If you need electrical work, skip the rest and go with TE Certified Electrical— and make sure you ask for Trevor or Chris.
Gabe and Elijah did super work in our newly purchased house. They had to make some complicated changes to existing ductwork, and they made it seem simple.
