HVAC, Plumber & Electrical FAQs
The average cost to replace an electrical panel ranges from $1,595 - $3,000 depending on the amperage. The higher the amperage needed the more expensive the new electrical panel would be. Amp replacement is necessary when the existing system cannot be upgraded to meet new standard needs or when there is a safety risk to the existing system.
Tankless water heater cost in Marietta ranges from $1,500 to $5,000 depending on the size and type of the water heater being installed. Tankless water heaters have a higher initial price compared to tank heaters because of a more labor-intensive set-up if new gas and water lines are required for installation. For electrical tankless heaters, new electric wiring will probably not be needed for installation in most cases.
If you're experiencing AC not cooling your Marietta area home while the system is powered on, you could have a clogged or blocked coil. Unfortunately, a wide variety of debris can find its way into this equipment, including grass, dirt, and other contaminants. This can result in a serious clog, which can lead to a system malfunction. The best way to prevent this is with regular AC cleaning and maintenance visits.

Job Locations and Reviews
Relocate the 2 electrical panels to 1 main panel in the basement den area. This includes the updating of life safety devices in the home to pass a Cobb county electrical inspection.
For this job the customer stated that the gas pipe located in the basement was severely rusted and not strapped and would like to replace it. I presented options for a gas repipe which the customer agreed. Gas was shut off to the house and all of the old gas pipe was removed. Gas line was ran to the furnace and water heater and strapped along the way. I also replaced the shut off valves going to the water heater and furnace as well as new gas whips. Gas was turned back on and checked with liquid leak detector as well as gas sniffer to ensure there were no leaks. I also backfilled the remaining exposed gas line for a generator I installed previously. Pressure gauge was removed and capped as well. Thank you for choosing TE Certified
Return visit to repair pipe after lake detection finds it in the ground. Due to circumstances, the leak was unable to be located due to the death of the pipe that the locator could not read where it was and with the amount of roots that are in the ground. I spoke with Ann and explain that in the circumstances of locating the waterline. It’s best recommended to go ahead and replace waterline rather than keep digging into the yard until we can find it cost more than what it would be to replace the service line. Work is sold and scheduled for 22 April 1 thing in the morning
Wire new outlets and circuit
For this job, we conducted lead detection services for original technician Blake. Throughout the investigation, we discovered the service line was more than 3 1/2 feet deep, because of this we put compressed air on the line. We were not able to pinpoint the leak even with compressed air on the line because of the depth and the huge roots growing where the pipe are, we kept getting false positives.
Today we wired in and installed a new Carbon/Smoke system in the home we also helped the homeowner set up the app and ensured that the units are working. Supplied and installed a new low voltage spot light in the back yard pointing up at the Chinese Maple Tree. We cleaned up the main panel and separated the neutrals and grounds along with installing a whole house surge protector with a new breaker and flush mount kit. In the kitchen I installed better connectors for the led tape lights and replaced all four of the puck lights mounted in the kitchen cabinets and above the sink. In the sitting room I removed the ceiling fan and supplied and installed a new fan rated pancake box with a new solid state fan remote kit.
For this job, we installed two new ceiling fans and replaced two ceiling fans along with the boxes.
Today I combined four total circuits into two circuits, which I put on new single pole Eaton CL breakers, to make space to add a new 50 amp circuit feeding a new customer supplied Tesla charger which I installed in the garage. I commissioned the Tesla charger, connected it to the WiFi, and set the charge rate down to 40 amps
We installed a subpanel in the basement for future expansion. We also ran four dedicated circuits for multiple workout equipment in the basement. Installed two whole home surge protectors in each panel.

Customer called us out for a back up in the kitchen sink and the laundry room. On arrival I inspected the areas and recommended to either use a jetter or a flex shaft to clear the blockage and customer chose to use the jetter. I ran the jetter down the line four times successfully clearing the blockage. I also ran the line down the laundry drain to clear anything on that side. I then tested the sink for 20 minutes while cleaning my work up. There were no leaks and the sink was draining well.
Completed HC Inspections Upstairs has a restriction in the evaporator coil. Equipment is low on return air. Main condenser unit was dirty and exhibiting signs or a restriction in the metering device.
Upon arrival spoke with customer about a hot water issue. Previous tech was sent back out to address it. Spoke to the customer about a leak coming from the pool house. There was standing water in the back half of the pool house. Water begins to leak when the shower is turned on. Did a leak search. Found a pex ring that was not crimped on the middle valve cold side. Cut cross blocking out to access the fitting. Added a new crimp ring and secured fitting. No further leaks were observed. Also added an expansion tank to the water heater for the pool house.

No Cool- 2023 Goodman AC/ 2011 Ruud Furnace. After talking with the customer about the issues he was having. I found that the indoor blower motor had failed. The capacitor tested low as well. I gave the customer the option to replace the system or repair it. Customer chose to repair at this time. Blower motor and capacitor was replaced and heat and cooling was tested afterwards. The customer does have single wall flue pipe and double wall flue is required. Lest estimate to replace flue pipe.
Today we were called out here because Ann recently had a high water bill that is not her usual charge of what she pays for and had called the water company and had told them of the situation which they recommended that she called out a technician to investigate where the leak is coming from, that’s causing the high water bill. Ann had mentioned that she’s had issues with toilets inside of the home and think that the leak could be coming from there. I performed a dye test on the toilets and did not see any leaking water into the bowl with the dye coloring. I then proceeded to eliminate another possible variable that there is a mainline that it’s leaking between the meter and to the penetration of the home. I isolated the main valve inside of the home and checked out the meter to which I found out the meter is still spinning, which confirms that there is a yard leak somewhere between the house and the meter at the street. I have already gone in contact with the office to have leak detect

Today we came out for only system not cooling 2005 trane * ton ac with matching 100k furnace located in crawlspace. Cycled equipment from thermostat found compressor running but variable speed motor did not energize. Went into crawlspace checked for 24 volts at motor and found proper voltage blower motor has failed inside furnace. Inspected heat exchanger with digital camera found crack on lower chamber. My wife and I live in a 1924 home that, due to years of poor work by previous owners, was left unsafe and far from code. Trevor and Chris were outstanding. They quickly identified issues that multiple other companies had missed and diagnosed everything on the spot with confidence and expertise. Just as important, they were incredibly kind, professional, and thorough. They took the time to explain every step, making sure we understood the process and felt comfortable along the way. We never felt pressured—only given honest, thoughtful recommendations. Their work ethic was remarkable. They stayed focused, worked tirelessly, and kept a positive attitude the entire time—even going so far as to eat lunch in their truck quickly so they could hop right back to work to keep the job moving. After dealing with other companies that either overwhelmed us or didn’t follow through, working with Trevor and Chris was a completely different experience. They truly transformed our home. If you need electrical work, skip the rest and go with TE Certified Electrical— and make sure you ask for Trevor or Chris.
Gabe and Elijah did super work in our newly purchased house. They had to make some complicated changes to existing ductwork, and they made it seem simple. Gabe communicated with me throughout the process as I was in a completely different state, so I could not be present. He sent pictures and called. I am VERY happy with the work and the amazing service.
