Customer is selling home and wanted to get some safety concerns handled, so after an electrical inspection,

During our visit, the customer mentioned the master shower is constantly dripping. Upon inspection, the customer showed us to the shower where the shower head was constantly dripping. I mentioned we would need to troubleshoot the issue but also needed to check out the water pressure. The water pressure was within range for optimal usage. I removed the cartridge and noticed the valve was no in good shape. The customer also mentioned the shower valve is over 20 years old. I tried to locate the cartridge locally but could not find it. I gave the customer the part number and they plan to order it. We reinstalled the cartridge and charged for a diagnostic fee. The customer plans to call us to install the part once it arrives. The diagnostic fee is to be removed on the day of install.

HVAC odor causing severe reaction for homeowner. Homeowner described peppermint like odor causing a severe reaction where she can’t breathe from asthma, tongue swells, talking becomes difficult, and causes neurological problems affecting her heart and lungs as well and she gets dizzy and falls. Customer is hyper sensitive to some odors. Odor count not be detected. Customer had cut system off for several hours and aired home with doors open. Turned system on and homeowner experienced reaction. Explained to homeowner that I could not detect odor while operating and she was experiencing symptoms. Ducting is dirty and in need of cleaning. Due to customer sensitive nature to odors reducting the system is more appropriate for her. Customer would like Hayden Bramlett to come quote the ducting and possibly equipment. Spoke about UV and customer has tried UV multiple times but has to have it removed due to sensitivity and drs orders. Also found biological growth on blower motor. Did

Today I installed a new GFCI outlet for a bidet, pulling off of an existing circuit in the master bedroom

Installed customer provided thermostat, tested system in heating and cooling modes. At this time the system is operating properly

Thermostat issue. Customer said the Ecobee had went blank a few days ago, but last night, returned back to normal. During my inspection I noticed the condensate pump constantly running, and the outdoor unit constantly running. Outdoor diagnostic revealed a stuck contactor as well as a dirty coil. Customer had his own contactor to use. Inside inspection revealed dirty filters, blower capacitor failing. Customer agreed to replace filters and condensate pump and signed up for a 2 System HomeCare. I will need to return 3/17 in the AM to install 20*25*4 filter as none is currently on the truck.

Pinhole leak on the hot water line in the basement. We cut out a 4 foot section of pipe to replace the failed line. Customer is planning to have the main floor repiped, this is just a temporary repair until that project is completed. We left estimates for that work on our last visit. Replaced an outlet with customer supplied device in basement office

During our visit, the customer mentioned a pipe bursted in the basement near the washing machine. The water was off upon arrival, but I could tell the old shutoff valve was corroded and had a leak. I spoke with the customer about the overall condition of his plumbing. I offered to provide estimates for everything that needed to be done. He mentioned he only wanted a price for the repair. I spoke with him about a few ways I could fix the issue. He approved my estimate for installing a washing machine box in the same location the valves were in. A new washing machine box was installed and mounted to the wall. The customers existing washing machine hoses were reused. I made the customer aware that were are now responsible for the washing machine hoses. Regardless I testing everything for leaks after completion. Thanks for choosing Te Certified!!!

For this job, we moved the outlet for an oven so that the oven could be moved flush with the wall. The gas line is now blocking the oven but all of the electrical components are out of the way.

Replaced two bath fan and two razor lights, both in master and hall bath

Properly Performed 2 systems’ inspections. Checked all filters checked blower wheels for built up dirt/dust, cleaned flame sensors, cleared inducer ports, tested hot surface igniters, took delta Ts, cleared drain lines, tested safety switches, tested all electrical components, tightened all electrical connections, took running volts/amps, monitored systems operations. Cleared the main floor drain line

Replaced two hose spigots. Both spigots were provided by the customer. We cut out the old spigots, mounted the new spigots, replaced the isolation valve, and connected to water piping. We pressurized the system and tested both spigots for function. We sealed around the outside of both spigots with silicone. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!

We installed a dual tank water heater replacement with new gas shut off valves and 2 new expansion tanks. We also replaced the ball valves on the water heaters along with installing a 4 year addition to the warranty on both heaters.

Replaced supply and return Plenum’s made sure the system was sealed up properly. Tested the system after install installation and cleared the drain line.

Upon arrival spoke with customer about her hose bib leaking in the wall when she turned the valve on. Did a leak search. Replaced hose bib and ran new line up the wall, tied it back into the supply with a new shut off valve. Insulated and strapped line. Tested for leaks.

Troubleshoot why the electric water heater elements aren’t working correctly.

Troubleshoot front porch lights not working and install a whole house surge

During our visit, the customer mentioned his water heater was not working. Upon inspection, I noticed the pilot light was out on the water heater. Considering the water heater is still under warranty, I spoke with the customer and let him know that we would need to troubleshoot the unit. We were able to light the water heater almost immediately. I then let the water heater begin its heat cycle. While the water heater was heating p, I felt the wind cause a back draft out of the vent. This led me to believe the wind caused the pilot light to go out. I suggested that the customer has a roofer come out to install a new cap on the vent pipe on the roof. I also suggested that the customer purchases a louvered door to allow more air to flow into the room. Multiple other things were also noticed during our visit. The water pressure was at 100 psi. The expansion was also bad. We located the Prv and main shutoff in the front yard. Multiple estimate were provided and presented to the customer

Thermostat error issue. When I arrived no errors were active. I did notice the Nest did not have a common wire hooked up. Filter was also extremely dirty. I replaced filter and recommended HomeCare to stay up on maintenance items. After work was complete and I was testing the system, the error appeared during cooling. There was a problem with the Y1 wire. Further testing revealed that the contactor was bad. Replaced contactor and everything is back to working normal. Tested both heating and cooling.
