Customers' garage is independently plumbed in and has its own meter. Anytime one fixture is ran within the one bathroom.Within the garage, volume dwindles down to almost nothing and pressure bottoms out. Expressed to the customer that they need to have a new pressure regulating valve. As well, their thermal expansion tank had pop.The bladder and needed to be replaced. Customer agreed to have said work done. We turned the water off directly.Above the water heater on the main and drained that bathroom down. Afterwards, I replaced the pressure regulating valve and thermal expansion tank and made sure that the thermal expansion tank was properly strapped. Repressurized the garage and crimed all of the air out of the lines and then checked fixtures to make sure none of a more clogged at aerators. I was called out to customer’s house for a noise/heating issue. Customer has lived here for about 10 years so we performed a thorough evaluation. During the evaluation we discovered that they have a system from 2014 that is single stage and zoned to all 3 floors, the zoning with a single stage system is a poor application which causes excessive wear and tear, the gas valve has failed, the run capacitor has failed, the bypass damper is broken, a zone motor is broken with another partially working, the flood protection is minimal and needs updating, the wheel needs cleaned, the blower motor is very loud on start up, the drain line isn’t supported and needs to be insulated, the airflow on the system is inadequate, there is biological growth on the coil which was replaced in 2022, and the heat exchanger has significant rust with a lot of water stains. Replace older fill valve & flapper parts Customer was experiencing a slow filling toilet and intermittent backups in toilet. We tested house for mainline blockage but we saw no signs of system backing up. Backups were coming from failing flapper closing too soon not allowing a strong flush to go through toilet. Replaced toilet fill valve and flapper. Test and flushed multiple times. Tested for leaks. Clearing successful.
