HVAC, Plumber & Electrical FAQs
The average cost to replace an electrical panel ranges from $1,595 - $3,000 depending on the amperage. The higher the amperage needed the more expensive the new electrical panel would be. Amp replacement is necessary when the existing system cannot be upgraded to meet new standard needs or when there is a safety risk to the existing system.
Tankless water heater cost in Marietta ranges from $1,500 to $5,000 depending on the size and type of the water heater being installed. Tankless water heaters have a higher initial price compared to tank heaters because of a more labor-intensive set-up if new gas and water lines are required for installation. For electrical tankless heaters, new electric wiring will probably not be needed for installation in most cases.
If you're experiencing AC not cooling your Marietta area home while the system is powered on, you could have a clogged or blocked coil. Unfortunately, a wide variety of debris can find its way into this equipment, including grass, dirt, and other contaminants. This can result in a serious clog, which can lead to a system malfunction. The best way to prevent this is with regular AC cleaning and maintenance visits.

Job Locations and Reviews
For this job, we completed a troubleshoot for a dishwasher they was tripping and remade the connections.
I was called out to Poornima’s house for a noise/heating issue. Poornima has lived here for about 10 years so we performed a thorough evaluation. During the evaluation we discovered that they have a system from 2014 that is single stage and zoned to all 3 floors, the zoning with a single stage system is a poor application which causes excessive wear and tear, the gas valve has failed, the run capacitor has failed, the bypass damper is broken, a zone motor is broken with another partially working, the flood protection is minimal and needs updating, the wheel needs cleaned, the blower motor is very loud on start up, the drain line isn’t supported and needs to be insulated, the airflow on the system is inadequate, there is biological growth on the coil which was replaced in 2022, and the heat exchanger has significant rust with a lot of water stains. It is recommended we verify the sizing of the system so we can ensure we perform repairs. Due to the poor installation, cost of potential re
I cannot say enough great things about Andrew and everything he did for me. From trouble shooting to staying late to ensure the job was done correctly and even just going the extra mile to explain everything. Also a shout out to the guys that came in and helped him. Both were still learning, but he was a patient teacher through it all. Highly recommended.
Replace older fill valve & flapper parts Customer was experiencing a slow filling toilet and intermittent backups in toilet. We tested house for mainline blockage but we saw no signs of system backing up. Backups were coming from failing flapper closing too soon not allowing a strong flush to go through toilet. Replaced toilet fill valve and flapper. Test and flushed multiple times. Tested for leaks. Clearing successful.
For this job, I completed a troubleshoot for a car charger that was not working.
Generator inlet
Excellent service
No heat demand call Thoroughly inspected unit in heat and cool Unit not heating due to failed inducer motor
In basement there are two extension cords running along walls to power water filtration pump and also dehumidifier, I recommend running additional circuits to locations to provide power to these units, we will also add a couple additional outlets to locations
Today I ran a new circuit from the main panel to a new disconnect for the ac unit to make space on the main disconnect for a new breaker. I also installed a new circuit for a generator inlet and installed an interlock kit for it.
We've returned to install a single handle shower valve that we supplied in the basement bathroom. As well as install a new fifty gallon gas, water heater and prv. We also installed a garbage disposal and replum. The drainage for that same fixture. Lastly, we unclogged a widespread faucet in the master bathroom on the left hand side. We did all of this by first.Starting with turning the water off inside of the home and removing the prv.And replacing it. We then took out the old water.Heater. Installed a new one and had to rework the gas. As there were multiple fixtures on the same half inch line. We found the three quarter inch line and ran a singular line for the water heater itself. Plumbed in and vented, the new water heater. We then and installed the old single handle shower valve by cutting in a one foot by one foot hole in the sheet rock behind the shower and cutting out the old valve. And installing a new one. Afterwards we turned the water back onto the house and primed everything.
Replaced 10 nuisance tripping breakers in panel. Existing is PON and new is pigtails. Identified all replacement breakers on cover and breakers. Tested all breakers for function. Also installed new Durge protection for home.
I was called out to Bob & Colleen’s house to replace the return plenum upstairs and install an iWave on both systems.

Homeowner had water line installed for front hose bibb. The line was from the main line in the laundry through the attic space above into the garage. Connected to the existing line in the garage. Pressurized water and verified connections.
System inspection was completed for gas furnace and R-22 system. System is from 2007 and it is R-22 refrigerant. R-22 refrigerant is no longer available and is banned from being made or imported into the United States as of January 1, 2020. When checking pressures what should be R-22 appears very thick, oily and very foamy. Condenser appears to have been hit or so,etching heavy fell on it looking at the bent frame and coil. The electrical disconnect for condenser is broken and can not be pulled out to cut power off to condenser. Contactor is blacked and pitted, capacitor is within operating values. Furnace flue is heavily rusted with what appears to be holes for rust on the 90° connection. The interior of furnace cabinet is very dirty with dust and debris covering blower motor, all of the return and electrical components. There was a note written in sharpie under the burner assembly pointing to roll out switches being reset able. The heat exchanger has failed and flames could be seen c
59 maintenance special . Both furnaces were not in good shape. The heat exchangers are starting to separate on both . They both have hot spots and rust also . Both air conditioners are r22 refrigerant which is no longer produced. I would highly recommend getting both systems replaced. There is only one flood protection device on either system. Changed both filters on units .
Homeowner reported a gas leak in the basement ceiling on the gas line supplying the kitchen stove. Upon arrival, the gas company’s notice was reviewed and a gas detector was used to locate and confirm the source of the leak. The existing gas line was found to be non-code compliant due to unapproved materials. Replacement of the gas line feeding the kitchen stove was recommended and approved by the homeowner. The gas line was replaced, along with the gas cock valve in the basement ceiling. After completion, the system was tested to ensure no gas leaks were present and that all components were operating safely and properly.
For this job, I came out for a sewer smell in the bathroom. I replaced toilet about 5 to 6 months ago. So I went ahead and pulled the toilet as a courtesy and found that the flange was broken. I went ahead and replaced toilet flange and rest toilet back in placed. Tested for leaks & siliconed toilet based.
Single system Homecare. Customer wanted uv light replaced while scheduling as well. Checked filter, Leeann was here a month ago and provided one so it was not changed. Adjusted gas pressures, visually inspected equipment, flushed and pumped drain line, adding enzymes afterward. Checked refrigerant levels, electrical components and safeties, checked standing refrigerant pressures as low ambient outdoor does not allow for operation of ac. Found single wall flue pipe with asbestos tape in multiple areas. Blower is dirty, system lacks secondary drain pan and flood protection, drain line is improperly run, flue pipe is improperly run, ac is dirty, hot surface ignitor is worn and contactor is burnt. Recommend replacement of system as it is at end of life expectancy.
Rewire front entrance light top of the door
Homeowner had TE Certified out to look at the garbage disposal today. During the through evaluation of the home I brought up the age of the water heater and pressure regulator. We discussed these concerns and gave options with replacements. Homeowner decided to go ahead and have everything done today. Once all repairs were completed we tested and walked through the completed updates. Thank you for choosing TE Certified for your plumbing needs.

Replace leaking 50 gallon water heater with a new Rheem 50 gallon with pan, gas connector, and water shutoff valve. Customer states home is 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. It is up to the customer to have a louvered/slatted door installed for utility room so enough air is provided to the water heater. Door is currently solid. If the water heater fails inspection for not having a louvered door, it will be the customers responsibility to have the door installed. Performed work as per estimate. There was a nearby saddle tee going to a humidifier. It was turned off. We replaced the saddle valve with an angle stop and left in the off position as we had found it.

My plumber Shaun was very professional. Shaun acknowledged my issues and made professional recommendations. Shaun promptly completed the job. Every step was explained.
Ryan Wallace came out today to help us with an issue we had with getting our brand-new gas range connected to electricity and got it set up and ready to use. He was here promptly this morning and worked diligently and quickly to get it all connected and working. Electricity and gas were hooked up and checked he and knew exactly what to do. Previous to this Ryan has handled putting in our entire whole house electrical panel system and many more projects for us. Ryan is a gentleman and great to work with. We greatly appreciate his expertise and knowledge he shares with us. We call on him often and will do so again. GREAT SERVICE!!
Everything about our experience with TE Certified was top notch. Our hot water heater went out and I wrote my request at 10 pm. Within minutes I got a response and easily got an appointment. When I called the next morning to see if we could get an appointment that day, we were immediately escalated and sent frequent text messages with exact info on when the technician would arrive. Then we were even sent a bio and photo of our tech, whose name is Paris. We were concerned that we were going to have to buy a new hot water heater. But Paris trouble shooted and spent most of the day getting the replacement part and ensuring that everything was working properly again. For years I’ve written about customer service for national magazines, and my husband and I agreed that this was hands down one of our best experiences ever!
