For this job, customer stated that the breaker was tripped and she could not reset it. Came out did a troubleshoot educated customer on how to reset breaker trouble shot the fan that wasn’t working in the master bedroom.

for this job, I came to look at a system that was not cooling. Once I arrived, I began to perform a thorough diagnosis and noticed that the outdoor fan was not spinning. I proceeded to check all electrical components and noticed that it had a failed capacitor. I Proceeded to temporarily replace the capacitor to see if the fan would come on and it did, but it was pulling high amps. I also noticed that the compressor was very noisy. I presented all the pictures and estimates to the customer, but explained that I highly recommend that she considers getting a new system due to the age wear and tear. I explained that as a Band-Aid option I can replace the capacitor, but unfortunately there’s no telling how long that fan can last since it’s pulling high amps. SERVICE CALL: upon arrival homeowner stated the hvac system is not Working properly on cooling mode. After final inspection I found the Heat pump system Rheem 2 ton capacity 7 years old the AIRHANDLER Metal drain pan is full of water and trip the float switch system is in poor maintenance conditions the blower wheel is highly impact test outdoor heat pump coil it’s dirty test refrigerant charge pressures are extremely low and ice up system. Performed courtesy electronic leak search and I found indoor evaporator coil has multiple leak and can’t be repaired needs to be replaced. By Rheem distribution center equipment is out of warranty Customer declined any repairs or consultation at this moment and he will Call us back after review the options. Upon arrival, we met with the owner. They recently started having an issue of breakers constantly being tripped in the secondary house. They found the sewage pump and causing the issue and it has now started backing up into the bathroom. We attempted testing with different outlets from both homes but had intermittent issues and the pump would not run. We disconnected and removed the pump, found the grinder was jammed with wipes and other debris. We cleaned, tested and reset the pump and float switch. Tested and confirmed no leaks or errors. Remove existing sewage ejection pump, clean pit, inspect impeller, reset pump, test for proper operation and clean-up. Does not include new pump, piping or ball/check valve. Note: TE Certified has advised the customer that pumps are not reliable and inherently an issue. Customer understands that pumps are designed to fail and require maintenance. On this visit I Troubleshot the bedroom circuit in the detached house that was tripping after about five seconds. I found that it was the sump pump that was causing it and sump pump is unplugged for now.

Performed 1 system cooling diagnostics. Found broken condenser fan blade, failed damper motor, dirty air filter and impacted outdoor unit. These repairs needed to be done for the unit to run. The homeowner gave me permission to do these repairs. Additional issues found: 1) system is approx 2 lbs low on refrigerant 2) furnace is in spray foamed attic with no access for combustion air 3) attic has black growth 4) spray foamed attic is not conditioned and should be to control humidity 5) system needs better flood protection 6) system should be a true variable speed system, not a single stage 7) air discharge sensor has been disabled Homeowner declined to have me add missing refrigerant at this time.
