Water leaking call, upon arrival customer stated that there was water leaking from the attic coming from upstairs system, found that drain line was clogged 12” duct and return plenum were also full of water, recommended replacing 12” duct due to duct being soaked, replaced about 5 feet of 5” of duct, vacuumed out all water from return duct and return plenum, cleared drain line, recommended wet switch and inline float switch to prevent water damage in the future, checked capacitors and found that both dual capacitors were reading out of tolerance, replaced 1-40/5 & 1-45/5 capacitors, downstairs system has stripped service valve we are unable to verify refrigerant levels on the system due to not being able to attach hoses to system, quoted service valve replacement, also added hardstart kit to upstairs system, tested system operation, all units and electrical components are working properly at this time also preformed home care inspection.

Customer has 11 y/o Trane heat pump system that operates for whole house. Concerns of moisture buildup on ductwork. Noticed that filter was very dirty causing lack of airflow and humidity issues. Replaced 16x25x1 filter. Advised customer to observe ductwork after filter replacement. Quote for ductwork insulation given. Replaced condensate pump. Installed inline water safety. Wet switch cannot be added to Trane communicating heat pump. Recommend heat strips kit replacement. Advised customer to seek duct cleaning as well. Informed customer of all findings. System is currently working.

Arrived to address no cool. Upon arrival I found that outdoor unit was not operating. Further inspection showed that the contactor was bad as well as the capacitor reading very low on the herm side. More importantly I was not receiving power to the unit itself. I check the breaker and found that it was tripped. I then checked the compressor and found that it was grounded. This led to the breaker being tripped. Due to the age of the system and it being an r22 system I would strongly recommend replacing the system. I checked the second system for the customer as well. On the outside I found that the contactor was reading at 22 ohms and the coil itself is dirty as well. The blower wheel for both units are also heavily impacted. I would suggest cleaning both wheels as well as the condenser unit for upstairs.

Performed diagnostic on upstairs unit, 33yr old furnace with 6yr old ac, upon arrival customer stated ac not cooling, checked tstst, cycled to ac mode, upon starting tstst would not go out delay mode would only allow fan to come on, recommend replacing tstst, used jumper wire to test system and continue diagnostic, went to attic to inspect furnace, furnace has rust inside cabinets, inducer housing rusty, explained can fail at any moment, recommend better flood protection such as wet switch, checked filter washable, flushed drain line, inspected outdoor unit, recommend cleaning condenser coil, checked capacitor, contactor, amp draws, checked pressures and temp split, upon checking pressures system showing low, customer stated he has added refrigerant before, recommend leak search, customer declined and wanted to add refrigerant, explained no warranty and it will leak back out, went over all options, customer chose option a, cleaned both outdoor coils, added 2lbs to upstairs unit, insta

Replaced main shut off in the garage as well as the cartridge in the master bathroom shower

Return today to install faucet that was approved. We removed the old faucet that was leaking and installed. Customer supplied with new supply lines tested everything no leaks at this time and working properly.

No-Cool Diagnostic Summary Came out for a no-cool concern and performed a full system diagnostic. The system was found to be short cycling, with multiple conditions affecting proper operation and overall system reliability. Findings: * Dual run capacitor rated 45/5 µF tested at 0/4.6 µF. The compressor side of the capacitor has completely failed and requires replacement. * Compressor measured approximately 212 amps at startup and 22 amps while running, indicating the compressor is experiencing significant electrical/mechanical stress. * Condenser coil is extremely dirty, restricting heat rejection and increasing operating pressures and compressor load. * Air filter was extremely dirty, restricting indoor airflow. * Blower wheel is dirty and requires cleaning to restore proper airflow. * Condensate drain does not have an adequate service access/cleanout. A drain cut-in should be installed and the drain line thoroughly flushed. * System currently does not have TE Certified Flood Prote

Came out today to complete one system HVAC no cool service call. Upon arrival, customer approved diagnostic. Upon full system inspection found 2018 gas furnace paired with a 1996 straight AC. This system is r22 refrigerant which is obsolete and no longer manufactured. Upon inspection of the system found electrical high voltage to the outdoor system is not up the code, the condenser coil is very dirty, the condenser fan motor has failed, thecapacitor for the system is bad, the contractor is burnt and pitted, there is no TE standard flood protection, the blower will is very dirty, the blower capacitor is bad. At this time cannot test refrigeration pressures due to the condenser fan not coming on, if repairs are made there could be other issues once system is up and operational. Recommend updating AC due to age and cost of repair and current condition of equipment. Upon today’s visit, customer did not approve any estimate. System is currently not up and working. Customer stated they had a tub leaking upon arrival found that the upstairs hall shower had a constant drip and was missing the handle and other necessary parts, found that the pressure exceeded 100 PSI, upon approval I replaced the pressure reducing valve and set the pressure to 60 PSI, also replaced the moen posi temp cartridge in the upstairs shower and replaced the trim kit including the handle, face plate, stop tube, scald guard and hardware.
