Performed diagnostic on 19yr old upstairs carrier unit, upon arrival customer stated he had a few other companies out, one stated he had a leak , the other company he stated just looked at the indoor unit and couldn’t get evap coil door off, customer stated after he left unit started making a loud noise, checked tstst, went to attic to do visual inspection, noticed water in secondary drain pan, explained to customer could come from unit freezing up, blower wheel impacted, turned to fan only, once fan started you can hear loud metal noise, pulled blower wheel and found squirrel cage falling apart, recommended replacing blower wheel housing, also recommend replacing blower motor and capacitor, explained we have to have airflow before we can check other components, also explained there could be other issues once new blower housing and motor is installed, highly recommend install supervisor due to age and cost of repairs , customer approved, schedule for today, unit not working at time Bas

Came out today due to water dripping out of the ceiling. Upon arrival, customer stated there was a plumber that was just here and the drain line and pan was full of water. Upon today’s visit, customer approved full system diagnostic. Upon inspection of this system found drain line clogged, there is no flood protection for the system, the blower will is heavily impacted, the heat exchanger has rust spots, the Delta t is low, the outdoor contactor is burnt and pitted, the condenser coil is heavily impacted, R 22 refrigerant is low, the compressor is pulling high amps. At this time due to age and condition of equipment customer would like to receive a quote to update the system. Customer would also like to receive a quote to add a mini split into his workout room. At this time system is functional, but recommended not to run it due to the clog drain line.

Upon arrival, performed a complete diagnostic evaluation of the 2017 Carrier 3.5-ton R-410A air conditioning system and Carrier gas furnace. During inspection, found both the evaporator coil and condenser coil heavily impacted with dirt and debris, creating severe airflow restrictions throughout the system. The restricted airflow has caused the compressor to operate under excessive stress for an extended period of time, resulting in elevated startup amperage, reduced efficiency, increased operating temperatures, and premature wear on major components. Further inspection revealed a failed capacitor with visible heat damage and burnt terminals. Refrigerant pressures were equalized at approximately 244 psig on both the high and low side while the system was operating, indicating the compressor is no longer creating a pressure differential. Home inspection for power outage

Single system Spring inspection. Completed the HVAC heating and cooling inspection checklist. I ran the system in heat and cooling for 30 minutes and the system is operating according to specifications. I flushed the drain line with two gallons of water. I added drain cleaning tablets and endure to the system to assure it’s draining properly. Please refer to my Inspection checklist for more details.

Called out for backing up master shower and sink. Shower appears to be draining but sink is backing up and draining slow. Cleaned the p trap for the sink and removed a blockage of hair. Sink is now clear and flowing. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
