Ceiling fan and vent hood replacement

Came out today to complete one system HVAC service call. Upon arrival, customer stated that there was water dripping from the ceiling. Upon inspection of the system found the upstairs system was completely full of water. At at the time the pan flood protection had failed and not triggered. Completed full system diagnostic found the condenser cool to be very dirty, the contactor is burnt and pitted, the capacitor had failed and below range, the drain line was completely backed up, the blower will has buildup, the indoor coil is dirty and has biological growth. At this time, customer only approved option a Band-Aid repair. Upon completing repairs system is now back on and draining and working. See estimates for any further concerns.

No cooling call, upon arrival system was running, customer stated that system was not cool properly and having long run times, found that system was a little low on refrigerant, checked solder joints, did not see any oil residue, customer just wanted to add some refrigerant to system, added 3 lbs of R-410A refrigerant to get subcooling correct, unit also does not have primary drain line, drain line that is being used is emergency drain line, drain line is also sweating and dripping water onto plywood inside of attic, recommended adding insulation to drain line to prevent any water damage, customer stated he would take care of insulating drain line, after adding refrigerant to system delta T temperature drop is 20 degrees, system has ADP evaporator coil installed, recommended putting Goodman evaporator coil to match with outdoor system, system also has 3/4 suction line, suction line should be 7/8, system does not have standard TE flood protection installed, recommended wet switch as wel

Came out today to complete one system HVAC service call. Upon arrival, customer stated system was not blowing any AC. Upon inspection of the system found Duncan gas furnace from 2007 paired with a Goodman straight AC from 1998. Upon inspection of system found the outdoor system was not coming on. Proceeded to install capacitor due to a failed capacitor for the outdoor system to test the entire system. Upon testing the system found pressures were extremely high due to outdoor system. The coil fences are very bent, and the coil is completely clogged not able to pull any airflow through. Upon further inspection found the contactor was burnt and pitted, causing it to chatter, the indoor coil is dirty, the heat exchanger has discoloration, the blower will is dirty, the blower capacitor is weak. At this time, the system is not functioning. Due to age and condition of system, there will be no warranty of repair is made. At this time, customer would like to get a quote to update system.

Located where the water was shut off to the top building and restored water, inspected all fixtures through the building, noticed several issues and provided options to bring the building back up to use.

Came out today to complete one system HVAC service call. Upon arrival, customer stated the inside system is blowing warm air, but the outside system is not coming on. Upon inspection found Rheem air handler and heat pump from 2012 located in the attic. Upon inspection of the system found the outdoor capacitor had failed and the start booster had also failed. Upon putting new capacitor on system to test operations of equipment found that the refrigerant is low on 410 a, the indoor coil is very rusty, the blower wheel is very dirty, there is currently biological growth in the system, there is no TE standard flood protection, due to the attic space the drain line runs very flat across the attic. Due to age of system and condition of system, customer would like a quote to update your system. At this time system is not working see estimates for any further concerns.

Repiped water filtration system in basement and mounted filter to wall.

Upon completing a full diagnostic inspection, I found multiple failed and maintenance-related components affecting the overall performance and reliability of the system. The outdoor condenser fan motor has failed and will need to be replaced. The system also has a failed capacitor, failed hard start kit, failed contactor, and a failed defrost control board. These issues are preventing the system from operating properly and are placing additional strain on the remaining components. During the inspection, I also found that both the evaporator coil and condenser coil are heavily impacted by dirt and debris buildup, restricting airflow and reducing system efficiency. The blower wheel is dirty as well and should be cleaned to restore proper airflow throughout the system. In addition, the indoor fan capacitor is weak and needs replacement.
