Came out to a call back for another tech. After looking into the system, I realize it wasn’t a call back. The outdoor condenser start capacitor has failed and was not starting the compressor. The part is under manufacturer warranty, so I replaced it and tested system. System is cooling with no issues now. Customer is happy.

No Cool- 2012 Goodman Arrived and found outdoor unit not running but had a loud buzzing sound. Fully inspected system indoor and outdoor. System lack adequate water safety devices for a system that is in the attic. Indoor electrical checks were good. Outdoor electrical revealed that ants had gotten into the contactor and caused the system not to cool. I presented the customer with their options. Customer chose to only replace contactor at this time. Old part was removed and new contactor was installed and tested. Refrigerant pressures were checked and drain line was cleared. The water coming out of the drain was orange in color. This is a sign that the indoor coil is deteriorating from rust. I made the customer aware of the age of the system and recommended to start planning for replacement. The nest thermostat had a power error message active during the visit. It only has 4 wires going to the thermostat and it is recommended to have 5. Thermostat does have batteries and I recommended

Kevin contacted me to inform me that he was en route to my home. Arrived shortly after we spoke, very friendly and polite. I expressed the issues I was dealing with and Kevin went right to work on set issues. Repaired my issues in a timely manner and then suggested a few preventative items to further protect my home. Would highly recommend this company to others and would ask for Kevin as the tech.
