No Cool - 2006 Furnace/ 2019 AC with Zoning Upon arrival found indoor unit running but refrigerant lines were warm. Inspected outdoor unit. Outdoor fan was running and was hot to the touch and really loud. Found a bad 45/5 capacitor and contactor in poor shape. I replaced capacitor and checked refrigerant levels. System calls for 10° subcooling and is currently at 2°. Indicating system is low on refrigerant. On the inside inspection I found that the drain pan was completely rotted away from years of water damage, the bottom of the furnace is also in the same shape. Heavy water damage to almost all components of the furnace. Blower capacitor is also low. Inducer motor is also extremely loud and signs it will probably fail soon. I quoted all repairs noticed and had a conversation with customer about the overall condition of the system. It was agree to just replace the capacitor today, then have a project manager come out tomorrow and quote him on a new system. No repairs to the furn

We would replace all 7 alarms, 4 are smoke alarms and 3 are combo smoke and carbon monoxide.

Water service leak at the meter. I could hear the water leak from the water meter. There was a 3/4” galvanized steel pipe sticking out of the ground with a cap on it directly after the meter. I dug up the water service pipe and found that the galvanized pipe was broken at the threads where it tied into the pipe. Installed new meter nipple, dual check valve, and connecting piece of pipe. I used PEX pipe for flexibility to prevent breaks in the future. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!
