Came out today to complete customer approved repair. On todays visit I changed 16x20x1 filter, added te standard flood protection, added 14” return to reach 2 tons of return airflow, wired in safety for condensation pump, added 1lb of r32 to get correct charge, installed uv air scrubber in the supply plenum, and cleaned the pvc drain line and the condensation pump. At this time the basement system is working properly with no further concerns.

Came out today to complete one system no cool HVAC service call. Upon arrival, customer stated his basement system is not working and it’s been like that for some days. This system is a 2 ton Goodman air handler/heat pump from 2025. Upon your full system evaluation found TXV not set properly and system is currently undercharged. The system was in the position for the breakers and the water in the pan was slap full and a pan, which triggered the cut off. At this time, customer stated that he had an electrician out working on the outlets, which is one of the system started messing up. Evaluation found the condensation pump, not wired up into any safeties, the drain line is heavily impacted, there is no TE standard flood protection, there is no UV protection on the system, and airflow is low for the system. At this time, customer approved all necessary repairs and will return tomorrow to complete.

we met with contacts on site. They just moved into the home and are renting. They reported several issues related to the drains in the home. We tested and inspected everything. At this time, we found the hallway toilet is leaking from the base. Another company reportedly worked on it. We had to adjust the fill valve and tube to have the toilet flush properly. We do not know if they pulled and reset the toilet. The owner approved for us to further assess and pull the toilet. We found the brass flange had detached from the lead pipe. We advised replacing the flange as we cannot reset the toilet. We removed the brass flange, cleaned the top of the lead and installed a twist set flange, secured to the subfloor. Replaced the wax ring, closet bolts, and supply. Reset the toilet, filled, tested and found no leaks or errors. There is additional work that was inspected by a service tech on site today.

Only System - Not Cooling 22 year old builder grade system located in walk in crawl space not cooling. System is not cooling due to multiple age related issues. The high voltage disconnect for the system is melted and unsafe, the compressor is trying to pull a lot of amps which causes heat to build up in the power wires. This disconnect is also very old and outdated. The dual starter inside the outdoor unit has completely failed, the run winding on the compressor is compromised, the electromagnetic contactor is burnt and pitted and infested with insects. The system is also low on R-22 refrigerant (Freon), R-22 refrigerant is no longer available and nor are refrigerant related parts such as coils, compressors, metering devices etc. This refrigerant is no longer available due to the Government Mandated Phase Out of the refrigerant that took place 1/1/2020. The furnace has multiple rusted areas, the heat exchanger is compromised with rust and hot spots (age related), the blower motor has

Today we were called out to a bathtub that had very brown water. After further inspection, we looked at the water heater and noticed that the thermal expansion tank was leaking. And the water heater was 15 years old. The customer agreed to have the water heater replaced along with the PRV and main shut off valve replaced. Water drain we started by turning the water off at the street and draining the tank all the way down then we installed double wall venting for the vent. Then we installed a new water heater with a thermal expansion tank, mounted to the wall, and it was in a pan with the original stand. we also grounded the water heater along with replacing the PRV and main shut off valve in the crawlspace. we also had to extend the outside TMP down a little bit. after that, we turned the water back on and checked for leaks and re-pressurize the system along with we waited for the water to heat up in the customer was happy with the hot water. also cleaned out all the aerator throughout

Arrived on site to troubleshoot a system without power. Clients noticed a few days ago that the system wasn’t draining unresponsive. They had a family member come by to troubleshoot and he thought the transformer was failed but after a detailed inspection I found that the furnace power switch was failed and broke off the 120v hot wire that’s sent to the door switch. I was able to bypass the switch to complete testing. The transformer was in good shape and the system was cooling normally until this event occurred. Client said they are more than capable of doing the switch themselves and skews us to leave the system this way since it’s working and they’ll tackle repairs from here. The system is approaching 20 years old and is approaching the end of its life but once the system came back on it was producing a 22 degree temp split without any other faults or failures.

Upon arrival, met with customer and spoke with her regarding their issue. Customer showed me inside and to the main level half bathroom. The toilet is clogged and not flushing. I confirmed that this issue is isolated to only the toilet and not affecting other fixtures. Home is two years old. I gave the customer options to clear the toilet and after getting signature approval I began work. Ran closet auger through toilet and made multiple passes. Cleared soft blockage and toilet is flushing correctly now. Flushed toilet multiple times with and without toilet paper and it did not clog again. Cleaned work area. Customer is satisfied.
