Came out today to perform HVAC inspection. On arrival customer stated that he had two systems in the home, but was just looking to get the upstairs system inspected. Upon inspection of the upstairs system found a Rheem furnace from 2013. Found that the blower wheel was dirty, the indoor coil had lots of rust, there was no TE standard flood protection, one of the supply vents was pinched in between the Joyce’s in the ceiling, the refrigerant charge was very low, the outdoor capacitor and contactor were both out of range, there was no UV protection. Upon speaking with customer, customer stated that he needed to speak with his wife before making any repairs, also recommended the customer not to run the AC due to the potential of freezing the coil and then flooding the attic. At this time system is running, but recommended to stay in the off position.

System was tested after installation to ensure proper operation and no leaks. Homeowner confirmed everything is functioning properly and was satisfied with the work.

Replaced pilot assembly yesterday and the pilot went out about an hour after leaving which means the gas control valve is faulty. Replaced gas control valve, gas shutoff valve, gas flex and installed sediment trap. Tested and inspected, working properly.

He and his partner are obviously very skilled, and that shows in their work. They left with everything documented and clean. This is the travel charge for us to come quote this work. This will be waived if customer decides to proceed with work. Customer called us out because of a constant leaking shower head. Removed cartridge and confirmed it’s was faulty. Gave the customer the correct PFister S74-292 Avante replacement cartridge to order. Customer will reach out to us when the part arrives.
