Homeowner has a leak in the ceiling beneath the master bathroom shower. The leak appears to be coming from the shower valve, however the shower is full tile and there is a built in wall mirror behind it, meaning access cannot be gained to confirm. The water pressure in the house is 80 PSI, meaning the pressure regulator has begun to fail. Cut out and remove pressure regulator and gate valve. Install coupling and new 3/4” quarter turn ball valve. Install new Watts 25AUB pressure regulator valve. Turn water on to test for leaks. Set pressure regulator valve to 60 PSI. Using a grinder, cut along template of remodel plate to gain access to shower valve. Remove leaking two handle shower valve. Clean copper and install new single handle delta monitor shower valve. Tie onto existing shower riser. Pressurize system to test for leaks. After the shower valve has been replaced. Water was ran through valve for approximately 15 minutes. Upon arrival, homeowner mentioned that he had his home warranty company out yesterday. He said that they left wires, cut and wires, unhooked, and the disconnect off. And that they would be back, but never came back. A quick inspection determined that the capacitor had failed. Also, that one of the main wires for the compressor had been cut and left unhooked from the broken contactor. Advised homeowner that at minimum we would have to replace the capacitor and probably the contactor. Homeowner declined for the time being and said that he has home warranty scheduled already to come back out tomorrow. Estimates attached for immediate repairs. Thank you for choosing TE certified!

Install keyless light and bulb in existing location in garage and garage closet light. Replace 3 way switches in kitchen. Replace the vanity lights in both bathrooms.

Child proofed living room, hallway, dining room, breakfast nook and master outlets. Replaced fixture in dining room. Replaced all wired smoke/carbon detectors.

Met with customer and spoke with her regarding their issue. Customer showed us inside and to the upstairs guest bathroom. Customer has a slow draining faucet and the faucet is not getting good pressure on the hot side. Customer has already purchased a replacement faucet. The drain is actually clear the push stop was just not pushed all the way up allowing water to drain. Customer also showed us the master bathroom. Left side sink is draining slowly. There is a leak coming from the drain underneath the shower. Most likely where the drain meets the shower. A service plumber is also scheduled for today and will give the customer estimates to repair the shower drain. We presented the customer with options to clear the master sink drain and replace the lavatory faucet in the guest bathroom. Customer agreed and after getting signature approval we began work. Met with customer and spoke with him regarding their issue. Customer showed us inside and to the main level kitchen. Customer states the disposal has not worked for months and now the other side of the sink is also backing up. We inspected the sink and confirmed the disposal is jammed. Home is only six years old and disposal is fairly new. Right side of the sink appears to be clogged in the p-trap. We presented the customer with options including installing a new disposal and clearing out the drain. Customer elected to reset the current disposal and clearing the sink trap along with a bottle of our Endure drain maintenance product. After getting signature approval we began work. Unjammed disposal with copper pipe and took apart tubular underneath. Tubular piping was heavily clogged with some kind of paste/popsicle and several food and straw items. Upon arrival, I met with the owners. Their sewer recently started backing up into the downstairs bathroom. Their septic was pumped a month ago and was reportedly too low to pump. When I arrived, the downstairs toilet was already removed and I tested to confirm the line is clogged. There is no visible outside cleanout. I ran a cable to clear the blockage and did not remove any material. I ran water to test and confirmed the line is open. However, I found water still holding in the bottom of the closet bend that would not completely drain. A supervisor is scheduled to inspect the line with a camera from the flange. There is also cleanout access in the neighboring room. Use large drain machine to clear line through interior accessible cleanout, and locate source of drain issue with sewer camera. Includes drain machine and inspection camera (no additional fee). Does not include digging, replacing lines, or repairs. Cleared lines may clog again without a permanent repair.

Troubleshoot: Pulled the damaged wire down and into a junction box in the basement and refeed the junction box for the vanity light in the bathroom to restore power to the bathroom, hall and stairwell light.
