Came out today due to the system not cooling properly. During diagnostic testing, we found the compressor was not operating consistently and the refrigerant pressures were extremely low, indicating the system is critically low on refrigerant due to a leak within the sealed system. We tested the compressor windings and found the readings to be balanced and within range at this time, indicating the compressor is not currently shorted or open internally. However, due to the extremely low refrigerant levels, the compressor is overheating and going into thermal overload protection to prevent internal damage. Continued operation in this condition can permanently damage the compressor. We also found that one of the Schrader valves was loose and actively leaking refrigerant, which may potentially be the primary source of the refrigerant loss. At this time, we recommend performing a complete refrigerant leak search to verify whether there are any additional leaks present within the system so

Arrived on site and met with the business owner regarding water pooling on the floor in the guest bathroom. Performed a full diagnostic inspection of the restroom plumbing system to determine the source of the leak. During testing, found multiple points of failure contributing to the issue, including a leaking angle stop, deteriorated supply line connections, and a drain line that had been installed with improper pitch due to the use of an incorrect fitting. The improper drain configuration was causing drainage issues and increasing the likelihood of future leaks. It was also discovered that the existing angle stops were compression-style fittings installed directly on CPVC piping, which had become compromised and were the primary cause of the active leaking. To further inspect the system, gained access to the ceiling area where the water heater and related drainage components are located. I cut a cable line that was cut long by the cable company so it would stop banging on the customer’s window.

The upstairs system is not cooling to the best of its abilities. Technician discovered that the system began to develop frost on the suction line and evaporator coil. The refrigerant charged is indicative of low airflow or airflow restriction. The technician discovered that the evaporator coil is heavily impacted by dust and other materials causing airflow restriction located in the attic. The condenser coil located outside has buildup as well. The flue pipe isn’t properly connected and the inducer motor assembly has water. The homeowner has decided to have both coils cleaned. The technician will evaluate the system once coils are cleaned to verify proper operation. Technician will return next week to perform coil cleanings.

Electrical inspection

Arrived on site homeowner showed me to gas lanterns that were allowing a lot of gas to flow through. Turn the valve down to have gas lanterns be very minimal. Gave a quote for a whole house. Filtration system tested and inspected and everything works as it should will follow up in a week.

12 Year Warranty

Customer called us out for a clog in the left stall of the women’s restroom. On arrival I tested the toilet and it immediately backed up. I recommended attempting to clear the toilet with a closet auger. Customer agreed. I ran the auger successfully clearing the blockage and retrieving wipes. I then cleaned and tested the toilet throughly.
