No cooling call, upon arrival customer stated that nothing was coming on, checked thermostat and found that thermostat batteries were low, replaced batteries in thermostat and system did cycle on after changing batteries, checked refrigerant levels and found that system was running at a high head pressure almost 400 psi, recommended condenser coil cleaning, also checked amp draw of all components and found that compressor is overamping, checked capacitors dual capacitor is bad reading out of tolerance, recommended replacing system due to system being 28 years old lifespan of an AC system is 10-15 years, customer declined all repairs, system can stop working at any time due to condenser coil being dirty and compressor may go out in thermal overload, recommended replacing system if system stops cooling again

As we arrived today, customer explained to us that some of the outlets in her living room along with her fan were not working. Customer also explained this is the unknown shortly after a storm back in May. We removed all of the outlets that were affected and even the fan on the ceiling to check with no luck finding good power feeding anywhere on that circuit to those effective receptacles. There has been a lot of construction in the home and is a good possibility that something is covered up in the wall somewhere. I have attached an estimate to run a new dedicated 20 amp circuit over to the affected area to get to be powered. It was very nice to meet you today! If you have any questions about the estimate, please feel free to give me a call anytime.

Came out today to complete quoted repair. Upon today’s visit, replaced the indoor evaporator coil, replaced a 20 x 20 x1 filter, and clean the condensate drain line. Upon replacing the coil pressure tested system and also evacuated the system to below 500 microns, and then added proper amount of 410 a refrigerant to system. At this time system is now operating properly. See estimates for any additional things that need to be addressed with the system. Per customer request set thermostat to 75°. System is now currently cooling properly and draining properly.

Came out today to perform one system no cool HVAC service call. Upon arrival, customer stated that the unit was dripping water. Upon visual inspection found Rheem gas, furnace, and AC from 2004. Upon full system evaluation found the drain pan was very rusty, the heat exchanger currently had water inside of it due to a failed heat exchanger, the blower wheel is dirty, the blower motor capacitor is bad, the indoor coil is very rusty, the outdoor condenser has a failed capacitor, the contactor is burnt and pitted, the condenser coil is dirty, the refrigerant charge is very low and is our 22 refrigeration. At this time due to age, outdated refrigeration, and condition of the system customer would like to get quote to update system. At this time, customer did approve home care and is granted 5% discount on the replacement of the system. At this time recommended to lead the system off to prevent any more damage to the home.
