The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Customer has 8 y/o 2-zone Trane heat pump system that operates for main and upper levels. System was not cooling due to failed dual capacitor. Replaced 45/5 MFD capacitor. Noticed that drain line is improperly pitched. Water protection is poor. Blower wheel cleaning needed. Biological presence within air handler. Recommend UV BlueTube to target and prevent growth. Replaced customer supplied 20x20x1 filter. Dampers are operational. Informed customer of all findings. System is currently working.
Tech diagnosed full system for main level only… tech noticed a refrigerant leak at indoor unit, bad indoor capacitor, pvc, drain line does not have a vent opening, system is lacking proper safety switches, Tech left recommendations/ estimates that can help with equipment longevity, equipment protection and homeowners health and safety. Cut open Sheetrock in living room ceiling to find potential leak coming from upstairs master bathroom. Moisture reader detected a lot of moisture around toilet that had major crack in the tank. Customer states that stop to toilet had been off since Wednesday. Found signs of moisture that had dried up in ceiling near where toilet leak would have been, but nothing going toward the direction of the master faucets, tub, or shower. Ran water through all fixtures in master bathroom and could not recreate any leaks. Left estimate to replace toilet tank and stop.

Found restrictive filters in units causing poor airflow/cooling ability. Turned both breakers on without filters, upstairs is missing supply ductwork 1.5 tons short. Unit has efficiency of a 2.5 ton. Both units lack flood protection. Only diagnostic was done today. Filters were not replaced.
Arrived to address no cool call. Upon arrival I upstairs unit does turn on and operate so I went and started outside.. I immediately found the condenser not on or operating I then went and checked the contactor and capacitor, both of which were reading within tolerance. I then went and checked the voltage going into the contactor and found no voltage so I went to breaker panel and found that the breaker for this condenser was tripped. I reset the breaker allow the unit to run within five or so minutes the unit then tripped again. Once that happened, I checked the compressor found it to be a bit hot, not excessively hot, but definitely hot to touch so I cooled it down with some water just in case it was in thermal overload and then reset breaker. I then ran unit for 20 to 30 minutes continuously monitoring refrigerant pressures as well as compressor amperage and found that the unit is slightly low on refrigerant but the compressor is not over or under amping in anyway. At this time, I’m

Great service
Javier & Alex - I’ll be honest — I had a previous experience with TE Certified on a plumbing job that left me hesitant to return. I’m glad I gave them another chance, because this time was an entirely different experience. What started as a simple bathroom exhaust fan replacement quickly evolved into a five-day project that transformed my home. Javier and Alex installed 35 slim Hue recessed lights throughout — and not a single one required a drywall patch. That alone speaks volumes about their precision and craftsmanship. From day one, they were professional, respectful of my home, and genuinely a pleasure to have around. They were always one step ahead, marking every ceiling placement before any drilling, confirming offsets and spacing with me before proceeding, and proactively identifying opportunities to protect my investment — including breaker replacements and added circuitry downstairs for surge protection. Each day I’d ask “do you think we could add this?” and without fail they’d check with dispatch and make it happen. Their flexibility and can-do attitude kept the momentum going throughout the entire project. Yes, TE Certified comes at a premium over a standard electrician. In my view it was worth every dollar — a two-man certified team, meticulous attention to detail, zero collateral damage, and results that look absolutely amazing. My one suggestion to anyone considering a larger project: think through everything you want upfront and don’t hesitate to ask about volume pricing. Javier and Alex were guests in my home for a week, and I couldn’t have asked for better. Highly recommend. (They are out of the Lawrenceville location)
Jonah did a great job!!
As usual, TE certified came and fixed my plumbing issue on the first try!
Excellent service!
Jacob was great! Knowledgeable, and thorough. I hope we do not need a plumber in the near future but we will request Jacob if we do!!
Jacob was great! Knowledgeable and professional. Answered all of my questions and helped with bids on other areas my home needs maintenance on.
Dedicated to quality work lined with honest feedback. Really appreciated services within 24 hours of request!
Luis, and his assistant - Jose, had to followup up on a bathroom repair that could not be done on their initial visit last week because the water shutoff to my building had to have prior approval. They again were professional, courteous and completed the job in to my satisfaction. Kudos.
Karl did a great job listening to my concerns, investigating the situation and resolving my issues. I highly recommend TE Certified. Excellent customer service as usual!
Luis Arvizut, as always, provided the outstanding repairs and professionalism I rely on from TE Certified to keep my condo in order. I recommend him highly.
Very patient and friendly. Walked me thru details of issue and breaker box switches. Shared honest assessment of electrical status and offered suggestions.

Charley was awesome!! We had several things worked on and for each part Charley had attention to detail, methodically confirmation that all was working well and routinely showed me upgrades/fixes they completed. Shane is awesome, very professional and knowledgable. I just moved into a new house (new to me) and discovered a few plumbing hiccups after living in the home. Shane was able to efficiently identify my issues and fix my concerns. I highly recommend Shane and will use him again when the need arises.
Excellent Service
I have used TE Certified for several years now. They have rewired my entire electrical system, provided the installation of my HVAC, as well as doing all my condo repairs. I use them exclusively because I have found their work, technicians and customer service of the highest standard. And the work is always done to my satisfaction. I always use TE Certified for the yearly maintenance of my HVAC unit and I just had the pleasure of their technician, Jon Mann. Jon was outstanding for his professionalism, thoroughness and courtesy. He exemplifies everything that make TE Certified a trusted source for all things electrical, plumbing and heating/cooling.
Very knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile
I have increasingly relied on TE Certified to provide repairs for my electrical, HVAC and plumbing needs. In the latter case, David Hobart, recently helped solve the problem of why there was no hot water coming out of the kitchen sink. He didn't stop until he discovered the the source of the problem and he didn't leave until I was satisfied with the results. This is why I use TE Certified, they are professional in their work and they stand behind it.
Andrew is efficient and a great problem solver. I’m glad I have a great electrician to rely on!
In general I recommend TE Certified because of their customer service and prompt attention to scheduling work. They also have never failed to provide a superior technician who is well qualified to do any repair or installation, whether electrical, plumbing or HVAC. I recently had the pleasure to have Jon Allen replace my kitchen sink and disposal in which he showed remarkable skill in problem solving and turning a difficult task into a work of art. He is an outstanding professional. I also found his assistant/trainee, Elijah Lipscomb, an extremely valuable addition to the job. Both these men I highly recommend and they are a good representative example of the personnel at TE Certified I have always encountered.
I rely on TE Certified to provide home services and again was not disappointed with the results. Jon Allan provided professional installation of a new kitchen disposal, and he offered a range of options for replacing the sink and faucet in the future. I also had him flush my water heater. He showed superior care and courtesy in his work and he was knowledgable about many general plumbing and maintenance issues that I had questions about. I recommend TE Certified in general and Jon specifically.
