Technician replaced the tankless water heater’s motherboard based on diagnosis. After reassembling the unit and testing its operation, additional issues were identified. The existing venting configuration is improper and allows exhaust gases to recirculate into the unit’s air intake ( second hand smoking itself ) . This condition has contributed to corrosion within the burner assembly and may be contributing to the ongoing operational issues. Technician recommends replacing the tankless water heater and correcting the venting as outlined in the provided quote. Secondly, an additional repair option is available for $650 to replace another internal component. This repair is the next troubleshooting step and is not guaranteed to fully resolve the issue. If the client chooses to proceed with replacement, today’s payment will be credited toward the new unit as a courtesy.

From panel H3 a 277/480 panel I installed a new conduit up into the ceiling and down to the location where the saw is going to be located. The saw requires 3 phase at 240v. I installed a new step down transformer that would go from 277/480 down to the 240v needed to power the equipment. I supplied and installed a new 3 phase disconnect with 30 amp fuses to protect the equipment and I installed whips, conduit, straps and wiring. I also installed a GEC from the transformer up into the ceiling and attached it to building steel. After completing I turned the breaker on in panel H3 and went to the disconnect to test for power and the proper power requirement was at each leg.

For this call, homeowners were having a leak coming from below their master shower, going into the floor below. Came out yesterday and determined there was a bad cartridge as well as the trim being stubbed too far out to where water splashing onto the trim would cause it to go down the wall. Also homeowners let us know that there was likely some shower pan issues, so we let them know to keep an eye on the pan now that the shower valves have been replaced. Also changed out the expansion tank as a courtesy included with this option and set it to 70 PSI. Tested everything for leaks and functionality and all is working as it should at this time. 1 System inspection Completed inspection on single system heat pump. Previously the home was inspected and the homeowners were told the the system was not making a proper temperature split. I observed that there were no temp holes in the supply or the return plenum, a proper delta T “temperature split” has never been recorded on this system. I made tiny holes in both plenums to take proper temperature split. The system is making a 20° temperature split which is right on target. The system is making a 31° temperature split in heat pump mode which is also right on target. This system is operating properly at this time with no immediate issues. Created estimates to update/improve flood protection, however the system does currently have a float switch in the pan and the condensation pump is also tied into the safety circuit. Upon arrival we met with the customer who informed us that his kid put a toy down the upstairs bathroom and downstairs bathroom. Inspection also showed that all issues were still isolated to both toilets. We performed a drain clear successfully on both while only pulling back a toy from the downstairs toilet. All drains are flowing properly, no errors at this time. Customer will also be provided with two estimates to replace the two Gerber toilets. Perform draining clearing on toilet. Drain clear only. Met with the owners on site. The toilet in the master bathroom had clogged recently. They tried plunging and augering but it had no affect. I tested and confirmed nothing else is affected. I was able to auger and clear the blockage but did not pull anything back. Tested, confirmed the toilet is functioning with no leaks or errors. They also mentioned issues with the dishwasher but I advised them to call an appliance service company. I also attempted to locate the main water shut off and PRV but was unable to do so. For this job, we returned to complete previously quoted work. We installed a new 50 gallon hybrid heater, new pressure regulator, new shut offs, and a new halo five whole home water filtration unit. Replaced switches and outlets throughout home

For this call, homeowners were getting a leak from their water heater. Upon inspection, we found there to be a leak from the seam on the top dripping down to the bottom of the unit. We also tested the water pressure and the thermal expansion tank for proper function. We found both failed which contributed to the water heater failing. The customer opted to go with a 10 year warranty unit, and while we were performing work we installed a new hose Bibb which was behind the heater, and moved the main shut off and regulator out from behind the water heater to be more accessible. We also ran the water heater pan drain outside of the house since the unit was on an exterior wall. Once complete we tested our work and cleaned up.
