For this job, the customer has had work done to the drain lines in crawl space by us before, on this visit he stated that there was a pvc joint which was being held together by duct tape. I found the joint, and noticed a couple of other issues in the crawl space. One was the joints around the fitting were not glued as well, the toilet flange is leaking when the guest bathroom toilet is flushed and the PRV, and expansion tank have failed in the home. Shower drain was leaking from the drain fitting. Fixture branch was back pitched and holding water. Installed new drain on the shower pan. Installed new p trap and added an inline clean out on the branch line. Strapped the pipe at the correct pitch for optimal flow. Thank you for choosing TE Certified!

For this job, homeowner called for a leak in garage ceiling and homeowner had to shut water off to stop the leak. Upon inspection, we confirmed the leak was coming from the shower valve. It had signs of corrosion as well as water pooling in/on top of the valve. The shower valve itself runs hot and cold to it in 3/4” water lines as it has 6 jet sprayers installed with it. The other issue is the valve sits on an exterior wall so we informed customer, we would have to do some heavier demo to access the valve and possibly would need to get a engineer to clear us on the proper insulating to complete said repair. So we recommended possibly having to remodel the shower to where it will not have the shower valve sitting on an exterior wall. As of now, we capped the hot and cold lines right before it heads up the ceiling into the shower wall so that we could turn the water back on to the home. Tested everything for leaks and all is working as it should at this time. Also gave quotes on replaci

Came out to find a glue joint had failed causing sewer to leak continuously in crawl. Reattached 3” into main with proper pitch to stop leak, capping the old line coming from toilet riser. Suggested possibly considering repiping the rest of the house after restoration work is completed.
