HVAC, Plumber & Electrical FAQs
The average cost to replace an electrical panel ranges from $1,595 - $3,000 depending on the amperage. The higher the amperage needed the more expensive the new electrical panel would be. Amp replacement is necessary when the existing system cannot be upgraded to meet new standard needs or when there is a safety risk to the existing system.
Tankless water heater cost in Marietta ranges from $1,500 to $5,000 depending on the size and type of the water heater being installed. Tankless water heaters have a higher initial price compared to tank heaters because of a more labor-intensive set-up if new gas and water lines are required for installation. For electrical tankless heaters, new electric wiring will probably not be needed for installation in most cases.
If you're experiencing AC not cooling your Marietta area home while the system is powered on, you could have a clogged or blocked coil. Unfortunately, a wide variety of debris can find its way into this equipment, including grass, dirt, and other contaminants. This can result in a serious clog, which can lead to a system malfunction. The best way to prevent this is with regular AC cleaning and maintenance visits.

Job Locations and Reviews

During our visit, a new water service line was directionally bored from the water meter to the right side house. Replacement of the old water line was necessary due to a leak at the penetration that was not easily repairable. The directional bore was roughly 80 feet in length. A 2” HDPE sleeve was installed in the ground to protect the water service. After the sleeve was installed, a 1” HDPE was installed inside of the sleeve. The water meter area was excavated by hand in order to make the necessary connections. Two additional valve boxes were installed in front of the water meter. One of the valves serves as the shutoff valve for the service line and house. The other valve consist of a 1” threaded ball valve. This valve box also has the 1” pvc irrigation line that is capped. I spoke with the customer prior to completing the job about what would be needed to properly connect the irrigation piping. The customer decided for us to not reconnect the irrigation system. A new penetration
Great

Homeowner had break on main water service near the foundation wall. We excavated near the house which had a large amount of stone with little fill dirt. We uncovered a 1” pvc water service. It was broken on an elbow due to the tension and the weight of the stone. We cut out a section and replaced with HDPE. Pressurized the system and verified. Homeowner is going to have landscaper backfill with dirt to avoid damage to the existing system.

Shut off water connections, drain down home, cut out damaged section of piping, use copper connections, make repair, check joints, pressurize system, check for leaks and clean up work area. Thank you for choosing te certified

Repair pinhole leak on dedicated recirculating line

Today I performed a plumbing inspection of the home and found no issues with the home but only that they were circulating pump. Inside of the tankless unit is not functioning correctly and the homeowners are having to wait for hot water to consistently produce hot water to fixtures let them know that I am trying to make contact with Renee to get a price cost of what it would be to replace the recirculating pump built inside of the units. Also left an estimate to replace the Tankless water heater itself to resolve the entire issue on that. Also performed a tankless flush today. Work is complete and will keep the customers updated on when the recirculating pump can be ordered.

Homeowner had leak coming from tub drain down into the master bedroom. The sheet rock had fallen down during the early morning when nobody was using. I was able to access and determine that the drain assembly needed to be replaced. Once removed I found the connection where the brass and plastic met was cracked. We replaced the tub waste and overflow and connected to the existing p trap. Tested and cleaned up. The 3 handle in the other bathroom upstairs was starting to come loose when operating. Rebuilt the valve tested and cleaned up.

Installed two outdoor back to back outlets

Assessed 2 tub spouts in the home one of which was broken off of the pipe and the second appeared to be malfunctioning whenever the water is ran warm. The broken diverter spout is manufactured by Delta and requires replacement with manufacturer parts. The homeowner will order a replacement spout and we will return to install it. The second spout can be replaced with universal parts. I went on and installed the new customer supplied spout with ring and tested. Upon testing I noticed that the issue ensued. I suspect that there’s a malfunction with the actual faucet. An estimate will be made for replacement.
Kyle I. was an absolutely pleasure to work with. He also had a new employee with him (Christian) and was great at explaining and teaching while he was here. Kyle was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He also provided solutions that met our needs. Specifically with installing a Tesla Charger. Outstanding work at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

The warehouse toilet was leaking from the bolts. Removed the tank and parts. Cleaned the toilet tank and installed new universal toilet kit. Reset the tank to toilet bowl and tested. Everything is working properly

Garbage disposal leaking from housing. Replaced with new badger half horsepower garbage disposal. Checked and tested for leaks. Found water heater to be extremely aged. No flushes have occurred since homeowner has occupied residency. Discussed with homeowner risks of aged water heaters that haven’t been flushed.

Installed new water service from meter to inside home. Installed new meter nipple, dual check valve and courtesy shut off valve at water meter. Drilled new penetration through foundation. Installed water tight seal on both interior and exterior sides of new penetration. Capped old service line inside. Installed new whole home shut off valve and tied into plumbing system prior to existing PRV. If any pressure issues arise due to PRV failure that will not be covered under warranty for work performed today and a charge will be required for PRV replacement if necessary Turned water back on and pressure tested. Replace the old ge slim main panel in the garage utility closet to be able to handle the additional circuits needed.

Called out to address wobbly toilet with a smell of sewer fumes. Gave homeowner a solution to pull and reset the toilet and replace the wax ring and inspect the flange to make sure it’s in good condition. Homeowner agreed and work was started. Began by shutting off water to the toilet And pulling the toilet. Cleaned off old wax and inspected flange. Flange was in good shape and flush to the ground. Installed new wax ring, new closet bolts, and reinstalled the toilet. Tested for leaks and functionality. No leaks and toilet is functioning properly and no longer rocking. He also pointed out items that needed to be improved and left a detailed quote after offering a thorough explanation.
Everything went smoothly and they were very efficient.
Great job and fast
Awesome work
Apologies to Steven and TE for this delayed review but I have been out in the woods for a couple weeks since Steven completed some miscellaneous electrical work for us. He repaired/replaced a few outdoor outlets and lights then hardwired some under counter lighting that Home Depot had half-installed as part of a kitchen upgrade (HD didn’t want to do any electrical work so installed the under counter lighting but plugged the lights into the closest outlet rather than hard wiring them). Anyway….Steven is a great guy and we hope to see him again someday. That said, we’ve always been pleasantly surprised by how professional and pleasant all of the folks have TE have been.
Apologies to Steven and TE for this delayed review but I have been out in the woods for a couple weeks since Steven did our annual inspection and pointed out that our 220 circuit that was installed many years ago was not really sufficient to handle a continuous load from our kiln for 12+ hours. Steven installed the upgraded circuit after which I left the kiln and my potter wife for a couple weeks without being worried about a fire. We both enjoyed having Steven around. Very personable dude who we hope to see again someday!
As always, TE Certified technician was on time, professional, and friendly. He explained the work to be completed, the cost, and completed the work to my satisfaction. Very pleased.
Knowledgeable, good at communicating what was going on every step of the way. Had respect for my property

My husband and I said this is one of the most pleasant service we've had with technicians. They need to be rewarded for the value they provide to TE Certified. We will definitely call you for any future services. Great job guys!!
