Today I came out due to customer having concerns with biological growth growing in system. System is a 2011 Goodman furnace located in hallway closet servicing whole home. The evaporator coil is covered in biological growth and is spreading throughout ducts. Evaporator also has heavy rust spots running along corners. Upon further inspection I found the blower capacitor is failing. It’s rated for 12.5 MFD +/-5% and actual rating is 10.42. Blower wheel is heavily impacted with debris. Heat exchanger is on the verge of cracking and starting to separate in some areas. There is currently an UV light but it’s burnt out. The return plenum is wood and only return air is getting pulled in from hallway. There is no secondary drain pan under furnace and no flood protection. The outdoor unit is a 2010 Goodman. The Contactor is pitted and coils are heavily impacted with debris. After going over all findings and options, customers have agreed for project manager to come out today to quote replacing

Replaced the kitchen sink trap gaskets. After further diagnosis, the sink is still backing up. Scheduled a drain technician to further diagnose the cause of the backup and perform any necessary drain clearing or repairs.

Upon arrival, I met with the owner. She recently found water leaking from the base of the downstairs toilet. She shut it off, and after a couple days found more water had leaked onto the floor. The bowl of the toilet and shower basin were both filled with remains of sewage, indicating a clog that overflowed. I checked the foundation and tap cleanouts. I pulled the downstairs toilet, found standing water and ran my cable from there. I pulled back the cable to find wipes. I made several passes until I did not pull out any more. Tested and confirmed line was open and flowing. I reset the toilet, tested and confirmed no leaks or errors. There is cast iron under the slab. I have a supervisor scheduled to perform a camera inspection of the sewer line. Shut off water supply to fixture, remove all fluid from fixture, remove china caps and bolts from fixture, pull water closet from base, clean flange and inspect for damage, perform drain clearing operation using specialty drain clearing equi

For this job, we completed a troubleshoot for the refrigerator tripping and we left estimates for wiring up a new addition to the home.

Installed customer supplied toilet along with a new angle stop. Tested for leaks and function. No issues.

Today we came out for only system not cooling 1990 trane 2.5 ton air handler matched with Goodman 2.5 ton heat pump R22. Cycled equipment from thermostat found air handler running but condenser did not energize. Found failed 35/5 duel capacitor and burnt up contactor. In addition found impacted condenser coil, system uses mandated r22 refrigerant that is obsolete. I will note that client does not have flood protection and serious flood damage could happen. Gave owner band aid repair options and scheduled install supervisor to give options on updating equipment for today 8-10am. Based on our findings today, it might be time to think about getting a brand new system.

Found copper pipe burst behind wall. Install new copper piping for leak repair. No leaks at this time.

At arrival on 07/15/26 Issue: no cool System: whole home Finding: bad condenser fan motor, weak capacitor, dirty condenser coil, potentially clogged up drain line, no Ss1 safety switch, no drain pan, no wet safety switch, dirty blower wheels, r22 refrigerant, improper and rusty flu pipe. Homeowner replaced their outdoor capacitor themselves, but did not fix the problem. That’s why they called us. Recommendations: address the above findings or upgrade your system. Only Apex in Lithia Springs has 1 condenser fan motor available. Made homeowner aware of that. They are going to think about options and call us back.

Arrived on site to troubleshoot a circuit that was repeatedly tripping. Traced the issue to a damaged conductor in the wiring for the back patio ceiling fan. Repaired and reconnected the damaged wiring, then tested the circuit to verify proper operation. Recommended installing whole-home surge protection, and the homeowner approved the installation. Installed three whole-home surge protectors, tested all equipment, and verified that the electrical system is operating safely and correctly. All work was completed successfully, and everything is functioning as intended.

Replaced garbage disposal that was jammed up. Other sink was draining fine. After unjamming disposal we noticed a small leak coming from base of disposal near the bottom. Customer then when with option to replace whole garbage disposal with 1/2 HP Disposal unit. Tested all connections for leaks. No leaks present. Replacement successful! Upon arrival, met with customer and spoke with her regarding their issue. Customer showed me to the laundry room off the garage and stated that after getting a new washer (used) it drains faster than her old washer and the drain pipe will backup and overflow when the washer is draining. The drain line is all cast iron and the stand pipe is at the correct height. I confirmed this issue and presented the customer with an option to snake the drain line. Customer agreed and after getting signature approval I began work. Ran flexshaft machine and made several passes up to 35’ downstream. Removed a lot of hair and lint inside the line and broke up as much debris as possible while running the machine. Ran a small cycle through the washing machine and allowed it to drain. The line is now draining properly and customer is satisfied. No cool- 2017 Lennox- Customer is putting house on the market soon. Arrived to finish diagnosing a system that was previously frozen. System was thawed when I arrived. Found system very low on refrigerant. Conducted a leak search and found the leak in the indoor coil. Also found contactor for same system burnt and pitted. Presented customer with options and customer chose Option B- All Necessary Repairs. I made repairs same day. New coil was sourced and old coil was removed and discarded. New coil was installed pressure tested and vacuumed to below 500 microns. System was started up and refrigerant was added to bring refrigerant levels back manufactured specifications. Originally the condensate pump was outside the pan. I moved the pump inside the pan. Drain was flushed, and air temperature was recorded. System is back to cooling.

Today we replaced all of the Eaton BR circuit breakers with the correct Siemens circuit breakers in the main electrical panel.

For this job, the customer had us come out to re-secure the SEU service. We used the 40 foot extension ladder to get up the service wire

Client stated the system stopped cooling after lightning and the outdoor unit made a loud noise. System has been cooling since but he wanted to have it inspected for any further concerns. Tested system to be functioning properly at this time. The power surge most likely caused the compressor to cycle off and back on too quickly which causes the compressor to run backwards and shut down. Once the system was off a while, turning it back on it functions properly. No concerns detected at this time. The furnace and coil in the crawlspace does not have an auxiliary drain pan under it which is a concern for organic growth if system leaks water. Furnace is 9 years old and cooling system is 18 years old which has expired its life expectancy. This system is recommended for replacement at the first expensive repair.

No Cool - Main/Basement Arrived to the evaporator coil, frozen solid with water in the drain pan.. Advise the customer to allow the heat or the fan to run for periodically for a few days for the ice to melt. Will return to thoroughly troubleshoot. The reason why the call is frozen on Tuesday.

Homeowner has a sharkbite connection for the washing machine box that is leaking. The leak is coming from the threaded side of the sharkbite connection. The valves for the washing machine box also lack water hammer arrestors. Homeowner does not want to replace the entire box, just fix the leak. Cut out and removed approximately 16” of 1/2” copper on both hot and cold side. Cut out and removed valves. Cleaned and prepped existing 1/2” copper. Installed new quarter turn valves with water hammer arrestors. Installed new 1/2” female adapters onto valves. Installed approximately 16” of new 1/2” type L copper on both hot and cold sides and connected onto existing plumbing. Water pressure is 45 PSI Water heater is a 40 gallon natural gas from 2016

Removed the existing gas flex connector serving the gas cooktop. Installed a 2-inch gas nipple and threaded cap to safely terminate and seal the gas line. Restored gas service, tested all connections for leaks, and verified there were no gas leaks. Work completed successfully.

Installed a customer-supplied 3/4 HP garbage disposal to replace the existing unit, which was rusted and leaking from multiple locations. Installed the new disposal, connected all plumbing and electrical components as required, and tested the unit for proper operation. Verified there were no leaks and that the disposal was functioning correctly. Homeowner confirmed satisfaction with the completed installation.

The bare minimum basic repairs to get the system running today. Home purchased November 2025. Upstairs not adequately cooling. Another company chemically cleaned the outdoor coil. This did not resolve the issue. Noticed system to be low on refrigerant. The decision was made to add refrigerant for now. I rerouted the dishwasher and disposal wire that were in the way of Home Depot installing the new dishwasher. I installed 2 outlets and labeled them. One for the disposal and one for the dishwasher. I also replaced the breakers with dual function breakers.
